Hi, everybody. Hi. Hi there, skin enthusiasts. This is our first time recording together, and we're so excited to finally be doing this. We are so excited to bring you four decisions.

The puns will be bountiful, whatever. We're just so excited. We don't even know where to begin, but I think today we're just gonna talk about like honestly, we text each other and then Instagram each other, like DM each other. We have like four different conversations going on in the same time. It's it's insane. Find it embarrassing. It's embarrassing. That will keep up though. Like I honestly am impressed by it.

Yeah, we do, we do. And it's all different topics. We have to keep them organized by having them at different chat platforms.

But so much of what we do in the industry is like one, it's like there's this keeping up with the Joneses where you're like, oh my god, this person's doing this. What is this? What do I need to be experimenting? And like that is why finding my SC bestie, you, Gabby, like has been the best thing in my life. It's life-changing, really. Literally life-changing. She messaged me on Instagram like three years ago. I think at least three years ago. Which, by the way, we went to elementary school together.

Which is also a weird thing that has absolutely no reason why I found you. 30 years later. Insane. Yeah.

And then she came for facial, and then we basically talked for like four hours and realized we were soul sisters.

I saw someone that seemed just as crazy as me. And was doing crazy things with acids. And I was like, oh my God, I have to get a treatment.

So basically, we love experimenting. We like calling out the bullshit. We like seeing what really works, what doesn't. And I think that is why we built our businesses to be so successful as they are, because we're not BSers. Like, if there's something that's tried and true, like honestly, glycolic acid, like that does not need to be reinvented. It is what it is. It fucking is amazing, right?

I want something that blows me away. Like I want something to prove me wrong. Like we're trying all these things, not because we think we know everything, but because I'm waiting for something to show me a different way. Right. And so that doesn't always happen, which always disappoints me. But I'm always excited to have a definitive answer in my mind as to what new fat or new thing can actually do so I can answer my clients effectively and move on.

And we also want to be on top of the trends, but like I think a big thing that we've learned too is that like again, not wanting to reinvent the wheel all the time because the old tried and true things, they work for a reason. But I do believe there have been so many advances in technology, in aesthetics, in medicine, in regenerative medicine, which we're gonna talk about so much today. Yes. That like there is more that can be done. And I think there's so much BS again out there that like we come into something looking like I want to be proven right. Like I want to believe in something right. And then a lot of times I feel like we're disappointed by like the claims or the even the white papers and like the thing.

We buy into stuff too. We see all the fads and we're like, oh my god, she makes that look amazing. It must be incredible.

I just feel like a honey mask on Instagram and I was like, oh, that's fucking awesome.

Believe me, I just bought a honey cleanser from another esteticious because she makes it look so yummy. It's easy. So we're consumers, we're geeky scientific nerds. We've just made it our business to dig deep so at least someone pays us to spend all this money on trial and error.
