How does large-scale deception actually work during Satan’s Little Season? In this episode we go back to 1 Kings 22 and the story of King Ahab to see the biblical mechanism behind it; a lying spirit from the heavenly council that didn’t create new lies, but gave supernatural unity to what Ahab had already chosen to believe.
We explore how that same pattern is operating today on a global scale: algorithms feeding us what we already want, institutions speaking with one voice, cultural and moral shifts happening rapidly, and the strong delusion gaining power through consent rather than force.

Hey guys, I hope you are doing fantastic. Um I hope you've had a great week. And so let's get into um let's get into tonight's topic. Um I want to make sure I turn that down. My my brightness on here. Um the it's it is crazy how the little season is embedded in everything. Um it is it's my contention that we are living in a in the time when Satan has been loose to deceive the nations once more. Um that just laying it out there if you haven't watched any of my stuff before. And that time is now because because of that belief, I have made a deliberate attempt to confront the deception um surrounding the era that we live in. Okay. Now, what I will not do is sensationalize this material to get clicks. And I I hate being manipulated, so I don't want to do that to anyone else. And I'm sure you understand. If we are in the little season, then this subject is already weighty enough. And so adding hype to it would only cheapen it. And so this channel will never put material behind a paywall. Um, this work should be available to everyone, whether you agree or you don't. But we are all being micro-charged enough as it is. So just saying that. But what I will do is dig into the material as carefully as I can, tying it to biblical theology and then correlating it with the world that we live in, that we current we currently live in. And of course, using logic and reasoning and clear disclosures where I speculate. Um, my goal is that both you and I will come away better prepared for what lies ahead, whether good or bad, whether or not we agree on the exact timeline. So, that being said, uh, let's go on an adventure. Revelation 20 tells us that Satan is bound so that he can no longer deceive the nations for a thousand years. We we have to lay out the ground for people who haven't seen this just real quick, okay? So that binding severely restricted his primary method of um large-scale influence, deception that gains human consent and participation, okay. The the mechanism remained, but it was heavily limited, okay. Then then, after the thousand years, the millennia, he he is released for a short time. But now here's the question that should matter to all of us. How then does that deception actually work on a global scale? So, how do how do entire populations end up consuming the same narratives, using the same language, um, moving in coordinated directions? I mean, we've seen it, right? I mean, often without realizing anything unusual is happening. Um, to understand, excuse me, the mechanism that I'm talking about, we need to go back to a story that shows us exactly how this kind of deception gains its power. And this one is found in 1 Kings 22, in the days of King Ahab. So Ahab wanted to go to war against Ramoth Gilead. He um gathered two 400 prophets and asked them the question that he always wanted, he already wanted answered. So, like she said, Shall I go up to Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall I not? So every single one of them said, Go up, for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king. Um basically, so he he's going to win, they said. But Ahab knew something wasn't something was up, something's not right. He went to Micah, Micaiah, the one prophet who who had a reputation for telling the truth, even when it cost him. So when Micaiah or Micaiah, I'll say Micaiah, finally spoke, he didn't just give his own opinion, he revealed what he had seen in a vision from the throne room of God Himself. So he's just laying it out to him. So he he says he saw the Lord sitting on his throne with the host of heaven, like standing around him. And then a a spirit or or an angel, an angel is a spirit, um, stepped forward and then volunteered. And the and this angel said, I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all of his prophets. And that will probably get its own episode one day. Anyway, I digress. So the Lord said to that spirit, He said, He said, You are to entice him, and you shall succeed. Go out and do so. That's what God said. Now, this raises a really important question. Like, how can a how can a spirit that is standing in God's own heavenly council have the desire to deceive or even use it as a strategy? So this one baked my brain for a long time, but this is where we see the reality of free will among the spiritual beings, and that this that comes into view. So just like humans, these beings appear from to have free will, the ability to make real choices. So some of them have clearly chosen rebellion and opposition to God, as we saw last episode with the watchers in Genesis 6, and there were there's other passages we'll cover, but but this particular spirit, he steps forward, he steps forward and then he he volunteers because it wants to deceive. Um, it is acting according to its nature. God asked the question, and that was the particular spirit, the spirit's particular idea. I'm not saying that it was a deceiver spirit, all right? I he just chose to do it. Now, at the same time, we notice what God is actually doing here. He's not he's not forcing Ahab to believe something he didn't already want. Ahab, it's this is important. So Ahab had already rejected the prophets. He'd already, he had already uh filled his court with prophets who tickled his own ear, who told him exactly what he wanted to hear. And the lying spirit said he simply takes what Ahab had all had already consented to and his his appetite for confirmation and his rejection of truth and and gives that deception supernatural power and unity. Okay, it was coalesced. So God remains, he remains holy and does not lie. He is the king of kings, but he is not the author of deception. He is a lot, he is allowing a free spiritual being to act according to a situation where the human king has already hardened himself against the truth. I keep on hitting this thing. Um, where was I? So the the the deception is is real, of course, but like but the consent was already present. Um now listen carefully to what's actually happening with Ahab. So um so Ahab had already spent years rejecting the true word of God, okay? This was it this was embedded. He had already surrounded himself with prophets who told him exactly what he wanted to hear, which was it was not the truth, right? That's what he wanted to hear was not the truth. He had already decided what kind of what kind of truth he was willing to receive. He wanted his own truth, right? He didn't want somebody else's. There's only one kind of truth. So the lying spirit did not have to create new desires in Ahab. It simply took the channels Ahab had already, he had already opened. Um he had the appetite for confirmation, he had a court of yes people, yes men, and he had a hardened heart. And he gave those lies supernatural unity and coherence. And the result from that, well, Ahab heard exactly he what he had already chosen to believe, and it led him straight to his death. He didn't stop there. He didn't, he didn't stop at belief. He acted, he acted on the lie itself and walked um, he walked into judgment that had already been declared. So this is how deception works when consent is already present. So just like we see with demonic influence and demonic possession, the enemy, like I said last episode, the enemy rarely forces entry where there is no opening. So he exploits the doors that we've already unlocked. Now, imagine that same, that same mechanism, but instead of instead of one stubborn king's court, it's it's the entire world. And instead of a single line spirit volunteering, it is Satan himself, whose whole nature is to deceive. Like that's what that's all he does. So he's loose from his chains, he's directing the operation, and and that's that's what I believe that we're seeing in the little season. There is so much in the little season. It so we see it in in the way that entire populations receive um receive perfectly tailored information that confirms what they already believe. Algorithms, they don't actually usually, they don't usually force you to accept something that you hate, right? So they study what you've engaged with and feed you more of the same at a speed and consistency that feel that feels supernatural. So not saying it is, but it feels that way. We see it also in the unified messaging across like institutions that people already trust. So, like when major media and government bodies, educate uh educational systems and tech platforms begin repeating the same framing at the same time, it creates like a like literally an overwhelming impression that, well, look at all of this, it must be true, right? So most people, I mean, let's let's be real, most people are not consciously choosing a lie, but they're continuing to trust the sources that they've already given their confidence to. So um we see it in cultural and political division that has become, I mean, self-reinforcing. Like, like, so like people choose their side and their sources, and then the system constantly confirms that their side is right and the other side is dangerous or deceived or deceived, right? The the the deceiver doesn't have to create division from nothing, right? He's he doesn't have to conjure that up. He simply, he simply amplifies what people have already chosen to participate in until the feedback loop becomes extremely strong. So we see it in the the think of it as like a maelstrom in like Pirates of the Caribbean. Though there's a rapid redefinition of language, more mortality, there's uh uh new categories appear, and within like a short time, the institution and platforms that people trust begin using them as if they were always obvious. So like uh those who have already given like cultural consent now feel increasing pressure to accept the like the next step. And it wasn't because they were convinced by an argument, but because the voices that they trust are speaking with one voice. You see what I'm saying? So like so this is the this is the exact same pattern we saw with Ahab. Only now, only now it's it's operating at a planetary scale, like a a global scale, a a uh it's unity supplied by the chief deceiver himself during the little season. So like that is why the strong delusion is so effective in the little season. So it doesn't, I mean, it doesn't it doesn't primarily work by by forcing new beliefs on unwilling minds, okay? It works by taking what people have already consented to and then give giving it um supernatural unity under the direction of the chief deceiver himself. So like remember, um remember what I said in an early episode. Like, why would we ever think that Satan would be running around earth with horns and a tail, like red suit, like you know, going to a press conference and um going to a press conference and then just basically announcing him, I'm here. At the same time, it must be clear, like God examines hearts. There are many who genuinely love the Lord Jesus and are saved, yet they're still caught in these patterns, right? They they they don't see that they don't see Satan doing these things. They they have not perfectly discerned every lie, they have not fully escaped every corrupted channel. But and let's be honest, none of us, none of us are perfectly self-aware or immune to self-deception. I'm not either. But God is merciful towards those towards us sinners who love him. So that this is why discernment in the little season has to become specific. It's not enough. It's not enough to know that deception merely exists. We so so we have to examine the actual channels that we have opened. Does that make sense? So, so let's, but so like what sources do I automatically trust? Um, like what narratives do I accept without testing? Like what systems am I participating in that constantly reinforce a version of reality that I've already chosen? Um, like another one is which thoughts of mine, this is important, which thoughts of mine have been taken captive so that I can discern whether they are from good or from evil. So these questions that they reach deeper than information because the deception carries a spiritual source. Is that you see what I'm saying? So, like, so sometimes the this looks like pausing before we share or react to something and asking where did this framing first reach me and why and why why did it feel so immediately true? Okay. It can look like noticing which voices or platforms we instinctively defend, even when, even when like new information challenges them. Does that make sense? So it can it can be as simple as bringing a one specific narrative or emotional reaction to scripture and sitting with it long enough to hear what the spirit actually says instead of what we want to hear. Okay. Um it sounds simple, but it's sometimes it's not. Um these these are the places where the pattern we saw with Ahab is now running at full force. So living it living in in the little season means that refusing to let those channels remained unexamined, excuse me. It means bringing our trusted sources, our media habits, our um our cultural participation, emotional reactions under the light of scripture. It means being willing, it means being willing to have the spirit show us where we have been where we have been hearing exactly what we wanted to hear. Okay, and it means actively actively choosing um to give our attention and allegiance to what is true, even when it contradicts the unified voice of the systems that we have trusted. Does that make sense? So it's it's not it's not easy because there we are inundated with information all the time. It is difficult, but your heart remains true to Christ. He knows that you're trying, he knows that you're trying to be faithful and obedient to him, right? He's he he knows, and that's why we have such a good and merciful God. Um but it doesn't make it doesn't make your job any easier sometimes, but he gives you the strength in order to endure whatever that what whatever that um whatever that cloud, that dark cloud is sometimes. And um, he doesn't always take it away, right? We we all know that, we all have these experiences. He doesn't always take it away, but he gives you the strength to deal with it, and he gives you the shoulders to bear it no matter what it is. So with this episode, take take heed to to the the channels that are investing into your mind. Does that make sense? Like everything is not a conspiracy, but everything is suspect. Does that make sense? Okay, so so be wise and be as innocent as doves, and um, and remember that the Lord loves you. And um, and I'll give I'll say this. So may the Lord bless you and may the Lord keep you, may the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you, and may the Lord lift up his countenance to you and bring you peace. Good night.
