(Part 8 Satans Little Season) The Dark Council

In this episode i examine the organized structure of the fallen sons of God who were assigned authority over the nations in Deuteronomy 32. After the judgment pronounced in Psalm 82, these beings did not scatter. They doubled down and continued operating with coordination, territorial control, and influence.
i look at the biblical evidence in Daniel 10, where a territorial prince successfully resisted a messenger from God for twenty-one days, and in Revelation 12, where organized opposition appears at the time of Christ’s incarnation. Ephesians 6:12 describes different levels of authority among these spiritual forces, and we explore how this structure has persisted into the little season described in Revelation 20.
We also discuss why real success was possible for these powers and how God’s creation of a world with genuine possibilities, contingencies, and an open future helps explain their persistence — including the pattern seen in Genesis 6.
This is not speculation or sensationalism. It is a careful look at what Scripture says about coordinated spiritual rebellion and the deception released in the little season.

Hey guys, I want to give you real answers to the world that we're living in. I hate BS, I hate fake conversations. Um, I want real conversations, I want real things. Real words, real conclusions, just real things. No BS, no fluff. And that's my goal here. To help you, to help me, um, to help those who are seeking answers to things. And that is the foundation for tonight's subject matter. Um so there is a difference between chaos and what I'm I'm calling coordinated evil. Um, chaos is it's loud, it's it's scattered, it's it's wild. Um coordinated evil is more poignant, it's more it moves with purpose, it has structure, it has patience, it has um a plan that stretches across centuries, across thousands of years. So the darkness that we feel pressing in on us all the time in the world right now is something far more organized than most of us have been willing to consider. So the the question that led me into this episode, which the dark council, and I'm sure most have never heard of this. Um, but if you're familiar with the divine council worldview, um I will be talking about the inverse of that, the dark council, and I've started calling it that. So, and to put it simply, the dark council, it's the it's the fallen sons of God who are assigned authority over the nations in Deuteronomy 32. Okay. But they then turned that authority against the purposes of the true king. And where I'm going, where I'm going with this is because I I believe that the the deception and evil in our world is absolutely coordinated and planned, and it's it's not random. And this this plan goes across nations, cultures, um, centuries, and and I'm going to show you how tonight. So I believe there is an organizational structure behind all of this. And what is the it? It the it is Satan and the fallen angels. There is a persistent spiritual government, a dark council that has been running every very dark strategy since the nations were first divided. But I'm not sensationalizing anything here. I'm going to bring light to something dark so that we can go to battle against it. And the Bible shows us exactly where this dark council structure began, um, how it organized and why it's currently in operation in the little season in the little season that we're living in right now. Um, this is not something that I'm guessing at or like piecing together. Um, the scriptures give a stark picture of how the rebellion in the unseen realm moved from simple defiance to something far more organized, and then how that organization continues to shape the spiritual climate that we live in now. Okay, so like especially during little season. Now, I actually believe it was always organized, but I can't prove that explicitly. I'm only gonna develop here what I can prove. So, so we have to go back in time in order to see the origin of what I'm talking about and the dark council. Okay. So many believers like us can sense this thing. That this we we can explicitly prove it biblically, but we can also sense something larger than just mere human scheming is at work in the world. Okay. So people generally struggle to find language for it that stays rooted in the Bible, and that's okay. That's not there's nothing wrong with that. This is this is how spiritual rebellion organized itself after the division of the nations, okay? So right after the scattering at Babel, we're told that the that the uh most high divided the nations and then assigned them to divine beings. Now, the earliest manuscripts, this would include the Dead Sea Scrolls, this would include most copies of the Greek, the ancient Greek Septuagint. They preserve this reading. So when it says, when the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he he fixed the borders of the peoples according to according to the number of the sons of God. So that's Deuteronomy 32. And the very next verse makes this pretty stark contrast very unmistakable. So it it says, but the Lord's portion is his people, Jacob, his allotted heritage. So Israel was never handed over to any created being. You know, Yahweh kept his people for himself, right? That's what the scriptures say. Seventy nations, okay. Seventy nations received 70 assigned rulers from the unseen realm, from the spiritual realm, from heaven. Israel was different. Israel was was not handed over to any created being, okay? Israel remained Yahweh's own portion. Now, this is the moment that the territorial structure was put in place. Um, but something happened much later in time. Something happened here. In Psalm 82, we see that God was standing in the divine council and bringing judgment against them. Now, these beings, they were given authority to rule the nations justly, but they became corrupt. Now think about that. God on high did not put corrupt angels over earthly lands. They became that way. They became corrupt. They were they were given authority to rule the nations justly, but instead they twisted the they twisted justice and turned the nations toward false worship toward themselves. And like we've covered in earlier episodes, these um, these fallen angels reached their hand out towards something that belonged only to God, the King of Kings. They wanted the worship, they wanted the authority that was never theirs to take. They wanted everything. The the sentence that follows this is very severe. God then says this to them. He says, um, he says, You are you are gods, sons of the most high. Nevertheless, like men, you shall die and fall like any prince. This was not a light rebuke. This was not a light, a light rebuke at all. God was declaring that these beings would lose the immortality and the authority that they had been given. Um, however, the psalm does not describe God immediately removing them from their positions or or even casting them out on the spot. It's interesting because instead it presents a judgment that appears to be future when uh as to when it will be executed. Okay, so like it says that they will die like men and fall like princes. And what makes, I mean, to me, what makes this even more sobering is what these beings appear to have done after hearing that judgment. They did not repent, they did not abandon what they were doing at all. Like instead, they doubled down on what they were doing, and they they must have believed that even that even with the sentence hanging like hanging over them, that their plan still had a real possibility of success. And that that tells us something really important. Like these were not, these were not beings that were acting out of blind rage or momentary rebellion. They were calculating. They were calculating. They they apparently still saw a path forward and one that it didn't it totally depended on securing enough human participation and consent to then build an alternative order that then could stand against the one God, the one that God had established. And the fact that they continued operating with this the structure that they had built, the their coordination and the territorial influence long after this judgment was pronounced, shows that they were operating with, I mean, with calculate calculated hope and not desperation. They they believed that the mechanism that God had built into creation that we talked about before could still be turned to their advantage, right? And and even after a death sentence. And the truth is, and that they've had success. I mean, they have real success. Why else would they keep operating with this level of structure, coordination, and patience, as I said just a minute ago, across centuries if it wasn't producing results? I mean, they've been able to hold territory, they've been able to receive worship that belongs to God. They've been able to influence nations, rulers, uh, twist justice, and even resist answers to prayer for weeks at a time. That's not a failure. Okay, that that is a dark council that has been winning enough ground to keep pulling, believing that they can still pull off whatever their end game is. Now, the the fact that they're still operating with with um with structure instead of scattering tells us the efforts have been paying off. They've only solidified what they're doing. And here's why that success was even possible in the first place. God made a real world, He, not a script scripted one, not a closed deterministic system where everything is already decided, no matter what, no matter what anyone does, like in Calvinism Reformed theology. So, like he made a world with real possibilities and real contingencies and an open future where outcomes can actually change. Prayer changes things. Human choices matter, angelic choices matter. Even even the the choices of these fallen sons of God matter. Um, God engineered both the spiritual and the physical realms with almost infinite possibility built into them. It was it built into the system. So that's why their rebellion isn't just for show. There, there was always a real chance, okay, that they would they could succeed for a season, and they have. We have the same, we see, we have, we we see the same pattern back in Genesis 6. God didn't immediately shut that rebellion down the moment it started. Remember, he let it run out, like he let it run until the people started crying out in law at large. Now that tells us something important about how God actually governs the world He made. He respects the structures and the real possibilities that he put in place. And that helps us to understand why these corrupted spiritual beings were still able to operate with coordination, I mean, coordination long after this judgment. The sentence had been passed. But but its complete enforcement had not yet taken place. Just, I mean, just as God sometimes pronounces judgment while allowing time for these consequences to unfold in other parts of scripture, here the Elohim, the spiritual beings, were placed under a death sentence while still um while still retaining their influence for a season. It is possible that God passed sentence on the on the fallen ones from his throne without them even being there for the sentencing. Okay. I almost wonder if God made um if God made judgment and then messenger angels were sent to these fallen angels to deliver notice of their judgment. You see what I'm saying? Like similar to how like a local sheriff will deliver a summons to court um to stand before a judge. Kind of the same, kind of the same thing. Now, here is one of my proof texts of this ongoing um organization, and and this comes from Daniel 10. Uh, Daniel had been praying and fasting for three weeks when an angel um finally showed up and and told him, he had been, and apologized essentially, told him he had been held up for 21 days by the prince of Persia, which was a fallen angel that had been assigned to Persia in Deuteronomy 32. Crazy, right? So, like what kind, I mean, think about it, what kind of crazy warfare has to take place here for this to even be stated in the text? Think about what this actually required. This was not a minor delay or a moment of spiritual interference, right? It wasn't a glitch in the matrix. This this was a a sustained, successful like resistance against a messenger sent directly from God in response to Daniel's prayer and fasting. So for 21 days, this territorial prince was able to withstand and hinder a heavenly, like a heavenly being who was carrying an answer from the throne. He was on a mission. Like, what kind what kind of power, authority, and spiritual warfare does that take? Like, these beings still possess strength and abilities that that were originally given to them by God. Okay. When they fell, my position is that those gifts and capacities were not removed at all. They how but they were twisted and weaponized. It, I mean, it's entirely reasonable to consider that this prince of Persia was using corrupted versions of things like I would say, like spiritual authority, possibly can combined with sorcery ritual binding and other dark practices that are forbidden. And this would create enough resistance to actually delay a divine messenger. So we are we are talking about warfare in the unseen realm that was intense enough to physically and spiritually contend with an angel sent from heaven. I mean, it's wild, it's crazy, but it that's what it says in the text. This this tells us that territorial beings are not weak or not just they're not symbolic, they operate with authority and they're assigned regions, and they are willing to use every twisted gift and ability that they have to resist the purposes of God. Okay. This includes holding back answers to the prayers of his people. Um, that's not a small thing. Like that this angel being tied to the Persian Empire was able, was able to resist a messenger from God for three straight weeks. And that that tells us that these princes had authority in their regions and could actually push back against heaven's purposes. Now, remember in episode five, episode five, I think, yeah, episode five, I mentioned that I believe God had engineered a um a functional authority into the spiritual and the physical realms. Now, what is interesting is what happened next here. So, like the the the angel said Michael, he sent sent Michael, one of the chief princes, had to come and help him get through. Now that suggests that these territorial princes weren't just acting on their own with with no oversight. There was some kind of structure where where certain beings had more authority or strength than others, and that they sometimes needed backup. And then the same chapter mentions that um that once this situation with Persia was dealt with was dealt with, that the prince of Greece would be next. Now the New Testament uses it uses language that points to the same kind of organized setup. Like let go to Ephesians 6, I think it's verse 12. Now, Paul lists several different terms when describing the powers that we wrestle against. Okay, so like you have rulers, you have authorities, you have cosmic powers that are over this present darkness, is what it says. And in spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Now, here's how Paul actually puts it. He says, For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over um over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Now, the different the different terms are are not just stylistic. They do point to levels of authority and different spheres of responsibility. Now, these we're these these are not just different ways of saying the same thing. It it means that they were that there were different levels of authority and different um different kinds of roles among these beings. The rulers and authorities actually mean what it says. Right? Imagine that, right? They they they held positions of actual governing power and like they were in charge of certain things or had the right to make decisions within their sphere. We do the same thing in our lives. So these cosmic powers seem to point being point to beings that um who who exercise exercise influence on a larger scale, maybe over regions or even broad like broader systems. So like, and then then the the spiritual forces of evil could refer to like lower level beings who carried out like more specific tasks or operated under the direction of those above them. So just as mankind uses gifts and talents for evil things, the spiritual realm logically would not operate any differently. Like fallen angels using their gifts, their magic abilities and talents for evil reasons. I mean, really, just like we do. Um, these abilities were not revoked from them, just as ours are not. Like it's possible that these different levels work together in some kind of chain of command or delegation. So a higher ranking being might have authority over a certain territory or area of influence and then pass down tasks or authority to those under them. Um, that this would explain how they were able to maintain um coordinated opposition across different places and over long periods of time. So it would not have to be, it would not have to be one single being micromanaging everything. Instead, it could work more like a structured system where where different beings had different responsibilities. Okay, you see what I'm saying? So, and and they they supported each other's efforts against God's purposes. This does not mean it was a perfectly clean or efficient organization. I'm sure it was far from that. But the because these beings were still fallen, they were still rebellious, but the fact that scripture uses layered language like this um that there was enough structure and order among them for them to function as an opposing force rather than just a bunch of uh uh independent rebels with no connection to one another. You see? Like when you put Daniel 10 and Ephesians 6, um yeah, Ephesians 6 side by side, you start to see how the Dark Council actually functioned in practice. Like these beings weren't just like abstract physical or abstract spiritual forces floating around. Like they were, they were tied to like specific territories and empires, which gave them influence in those places. This kind, uh, this kind of like sustained resistance, it it points to authority and operational function, not just random interference. So, like, I mean, like I was in the military, things like this do not work single-handedly. At the same time, Ephesians 6 uses multiple distinct terms, uh, multiple distinct rulers, authorities, cosmic powers, and and spiritual forces of evil, which suggest, which suggests that these beings operated with different levels of responsibility and different spheres of influence. Okay. So it was not a flat group of rebels all doing the same thing in like play like singing kumbaya. Like some held governing authority, others exercised power in more specific ways, and they appear to have worked together in a coordinated fashion as earthly empires seemed to rise and fall. And this is what um this is what separates them from a loose collection of independent fallen angels, okay? They functioned with structure, assigned roles, and the ability to maintain organized opposition over long periods of time, long swaths of time. So, like the the same kind of coordinated opportunity, like this is all leading, okay, just so just wait. The same kind of coordinated opposition in Revelation 12, where actual war breaks out in heaven at the incarnation of Christ. Michael and his angels, they they fight against the dragon, and the dragon fights back with his angels. This is not presented, this is not presented as a bunch of individual fallen angels, each doing their own thing. Like it's it's shown as a battle with two organized sides. Michael leads one group of angels, and then the dragon leading, leading his own. And the fact that each, that, that the dragon has his angels with with him shows that he had a leadership role and that these beings were operating under his authority, not just in acting, they're not acting independently. They were working together as a cohesive force, a coordinated force. And this war is directly tied to the time of Christ's incarnation and ascension. It was not some random conflict that happened way back at the beginning of creation, like the the dragon is actively opposing what God is doing through Christ. And he's doing it with organized support from the beings that are under him. The the detail that that his tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven shows that this was not a small operation at all. Like a large, a large number of these spiritual beings were involved and um and acting together under his leader, under his leadership. And this kind of scale points to like a like we've talked about, a structure and the ability to mobilize many beings at once. When it served their purposes. A lot of people, a lot of people assume that the war in heaven happened like at the very beginning, before humans were ever even created. Like most, this is due to John Milton's book that he wrote, Paradise Lost. Um, it is a very common misconception. So, like Revelation 12 puts this war right at like right around the time of Christ's first coming. And that means organized opposition, the dark council in the unseen realm was completely active and structured during Jesus' earthly life and ministry. Um, the the the dragon wasn't just some lone rebel causing trouble on his own, he was leading a coordinated effort against God's purposes, which he always has been, and he had, I mean, and he had angels following him and fighting alongside of him. So this is huge. This is huge because it shows us what what these rebellious um spiritual beings were were still capable of even after the judgment in Psalm 82. They were not scattered and disorganized after that judgment, they could still come together, they uh under a leader, mobilize in large numbers and carry carry out deliberate large-scale opposition when it mattered to them. The fact that the fact that the dragon was able to lead this kind of coordinated resistance during the time of Christ's first coming with an actual war in the spiritual realm in heaven, it shows that these beings retain both leadership structures and and and the ability to work together long after they had been judged in Psalm 82. And if they could maintain that level of coordination and leadership like right at the time of Christ's first coming, we really should expect nothing less during this little season. So when the deception is released, like when the when the deception is released on a global scale, like what makes this timing even more striking is what Jesus Himself said. So in John 12, he he says, um, he says, Now the judgment of this now, now is the judgment of this world. Now will the ruler of this world be cast out. And end of quote. So like the the war in heaven and the casting down of the dragon line up with the very moment Jesus says the ruler of this world is being judged. So after being cast down, Revelation 12 says that the dragon knows that he has only a short time. Um and then you have Revelation 20 that we're told Satan is released for a season to deceive the nations. We know that one really well. Like these two passages are connected, like the same organized force that was that was cast down at Christ's first coming is the one released during the little season. The structure, the structure does not appear after the cross. The structure does not disappear after the cross, it continues and reaches it reaches its peak, um, its peak deception in the time that we're living in now. So taken together with what we see in Daniel 10, you have Ephesians 6, and um and even revelation revelations, this this help helps explain why these corrupted Elohim were able to continue functioning with leadership, coordination, and territorial influence even after the judgment. It wasn't just isolated rebellion any anymore. They had developed enough structure to operate in it as an organized system, one that could still reach into the nations, ones that could still receive worship, influence rulers, and oppose the purposes of the king over long periods. And this is the same courtroom dynamic we saw in the book of Job, only now it's playing out on a much larger scale. So in Job, the accuser stands before Yahweh and the divine counsel and brings his charge. He said that basically people he said, so people only love God because of the blessings and protection he gives them. Take those away, he says, and they will curse him to his face. Now it was never just about twisting or twisting, it was never about testing one man. It was about whether the loyalty of the people could survive when the blessings were removed. So the same question now echoes through Deuteronomy 32, like where Israel was placed like right smack in the middle of the nations that had been assigned to other Elohim. So they were surrounded by competing spiritual powers that could, I mean, it could they think about it, they could offer protection, they could offer power, they could offer blessings on their own terms. Like the test was constant. Like, would would they stay loyal to Yahweh when other gods were right there offering easier paths? I mean, the scriptures are replete with stuff like this. Like the dark divine council, the dark council was formed that was formed after Psalm 82, simply gave that that ancient challenge organized structure. So what started as individual rebellion then became a coordinated effort to keep the nations under competing spiritual influence, and then to test whether loyalty to the loyalty to the true king could hold up when other powers were actively working against it. Um and here's something here's something that stands out when um when you look at these these passages together. So there is a a consistent legal and courtroom theme. Um so in Job, the accuser brings a formal charge in uh at the divine council. In Psalm 82, God stands in the council and pronounces a legal sentence. And then you have Revelation 12 in Revelation 12, where the dragon is called the accuser of the brothers, and and the victory involves the blood of the Lamb. Now, this is not random chaos, once again, it has the feel of a legal battle where the where the dark council appears to operate with a twisted form of legal claim or authority over territories and people, almost like a counterfeit divine council. So they're functioning with structure and assigned roles, and they seem to be operating under some, uh they are operating under some kind of remaining claim that hasn't been fully stripped from them yet. So that is why that they can resist prayer for 21 days and still coordinate large-scale opposition even after the sentence in Psalm 82. You see? Are you you see what I'm how I'm putting this together? So this is why, this is why the dark council operates through invert like inversion. It takes what God established as good and whole and turns it into something deceptive, wicked. It inverts worship. What was meant for Yahweh alone gets redirected to these other beings. It inverts justice. The very ones that were charged with defeat uh defending the weak and the fatherless instead show partiality to the wicked. We even see this now with a ridiculous knock, call them non-charges, sentenced against criminals who do horrible things to people and then are set free out into the public. I mean, especially in the US and the UK. But this anyway, but this this inverts sonship and inheritance. So human rulers begin claiming divine status and authority that scripture says belongs to God's people. We see the fruit, we see the fruit of that same inversion all around us when foundational found foundational truths are flipped over, when when good is called evil, and when the gospel itself gets twisted into something that it was never ever meant to be. So the inversion of worship is even more staggering as is is what's more staggering is what Paul writes in 1 Corinthians. He says, uh, he says, the church that he tells the church that the things that the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God. The very beings assigned over the nations in Deuteronomy 32. You see, these are the actual recipients of that false worship. It's not just people worshiping idols and made of wood and stone. They were real. Like Paul is saying that they're they're offering sacrifices to these fallen spiritual beings. They've in it's inverted, right? So that the dark council has been actively receiving the worship that belongs to Yahweh for thousands of years. The same coordination shows up on a national scale in Exodus, I think it was Exodus 12. But any, but when God brought judgment against all the gods of Egypt in a single night, the so like the the entire spiritual structure assigned to that nation came under coordinated attack. And the New Testament then continues to describe these powers with um with language that points to a like hierarchy, like rulers, authorities, cosmic powers, and and also forces of evil, spiritual forces of evil. Now, they're not just different words for the same thing, they're they are different levels and different spheres, like like yeah, different spheres of responsibility. And Pharaoh claimed, pharaohs claimed to be sons of Ra. Alexander was the son of Zeus, and you had Rome, you had Roman emperors took the uh a deified one's name. I can't remember what it was, but they the inversion of sonship and authority that these spiritual beings had had been pushing for centuries was all over the place. And this inversion of sonship is one of the most powerful reversals in the whole in the whole picture. These fallen beings wanted the worship and the status that belonged to God alone, they wanted to be treated as gods and sons of the most high, and they wanted to defeat all of heaven. What but what does God do in Christ? He takes humans, the very ones that the Dark Council has been trying to keep enslaved and deceived, and then he makes them true sons of God. See? So, like the through faith in Jesus, we become children of God and co-heirs with Christ. And the very, the very inheritance and sonship that that these beings tried to steal and pervert, God freely gives to us in Christ. All of this brings us to the little season that we're living in. And this is, I mean, this is when that long-running coordination and inversion reaches its most intense, as I said before, most intense global expression, as like Revelation 20 says that Satan is released to deceive the nations. Second Thessalonians, I think chapter two speaks of a strong delusion. Um, the dark divine council that formed after after Deuteronomy 32 now operates with a greater freedom and reach than it has in a very long time. Deception that only worked regionally can now be spread worldwide almost instantly. Like the same attacks on truth and the same pressure against the people of God appear across um across nations at the same time, because the organizational structure behind it has been in place for centuries. The foundation has been, it's been there. So this is why the spiritual battles are not random. You know, like I said in the in the beginning, they are an organized enemy with structure, history, and a consistent method, a consistent method of inversion. And that is why certain seasons of prayer meet resistance. And that is that's why some lies seem to almost seem almost impossible to uproot from cult from culture. Because they have spiritual infrastructure behind them. Um I hope I hope this all made sense to you guys. Um, but that's that's um, I I hope it wasn't too too convoluted, and I hope I hope it um it gives a a more pointed direction for for many of your prayers. And um, and I wanted to say that I hope you're doing well, okay?
