Episode 10. Double digits. We're smoking Granddaddy Purple — allegedly the grandfather of all weed strains — and it took approximately two hits for us to fully endorse that claim.
Before we get there, Amanda went to the casino womped and came back with two stories: one involving a flash mob of nine-foot-tall strangers, and one involving a Backstreet Boys song, a casino bathroom, and a desperate attempt to remember one single detail before she had to put her phone away. She remembered it. Barely.
Then we hear about how Hailey's mom broke her foot on Father's Day, what started as "probably just a sprain" turned into surgery, a canceled trip to Paris, and a week that required a lot of THC (for Hailey) to get through.
Also: the clouds on Father's Day were not moving and we have video evidence. The Warheads watermelon flavor tastes like shampoo. The algorithm brought back the crabs. And somewhere in the middle of it all we land on the most important thing — the porch was always meant to be.
If Granddaddy Purple is the grandfather of all weed strains, you already know who the grandmother is. She's in everything. She's always been in everything.
Pull up a chair. 🌿
Hi, I'm Haley. And I'm Amanda. And this is Moms on the Porch, the podcast for Moms Who Get It. Every week we're on the porch talking cannabis culture, mom life, adult friendship, and everything in between. No guilt, no gatekeeping. Just good conversation and zero apologies. If you've ever stepped outside after bedtime and finally exhaled, this one's for you.
SPEAKER_01Enjoy your drugs, ladies.
SPEAKER_00So, shall we do choppicana cookies?
SPEAKER_01Did we try?
SPEAKER_00Is there anything we haven't tried yet?
SPEAKER_01So there's ice cream cake, which we haven't done yet.
SPEAKER_00Apple flavor, we have a porch sex bag. You want to just do that?
SPEAKER_01Granddaddy purpose What is that? Granddaddy purple.
SPEAKER_00What does that mean?
SPEAKER_01It's like the old school strange, strange, strong.
SPEAKER_00Granddaddy purple. What is it? It's a tiny little thingy little bob. I don't like it. You got so much you got your you came in your like uh COVID suit. Todd. People at home. Jesus. I have sweatpants and a sweatshirt on. And I have shorts, sleeve shirt, and I have biker shorts. And it's hot out. And sandals.
SPEAKER_01I'm comfortable though.
SPEAKER_00You look like it's snowing, and I look like it's no, I was in the pool.
SPEAKER_01My air conditioning's on. My hair's a little wet. My mom's pool. Oh, that's a that's a hefty one. That's a big joint. Just a pepper nose. No. I'm smelling the tip. Just the tip. Mm-hmm. Smells good. I'm sorry, my diet. Dr. Pepper is not cold because no store has had it. I finally got some today. So porch top.
SPEAKER_00I had so many cigars this weekend. Oh my god. Because what I do is like I take my warheads to add to your warheads. Did they make that word up? No. Is that a real word? Up to another level where I'm like a busy gambler that's just smoking the whole time. So I got womped in the casino, which I want to say that I haven't done it. I I thought that I hadn't done it before, but I did because I remember one time that I did it before that was really quite interesting. This was a different experience because I I usually just go into it with like a gummy with a five. But I think I must have done a 10 in the past. But yesterday I did baby weed, I had baby weed, but I was like doing the whole thing of it to guarantee myself to be warm.
SPEAKER_01To do him big was a good look. No, absolutely not.
SPEAKER_00Wigged you out. I had this moment. I did it twice. I had to re-up myself in the parking lot, in the parking garage. I had this moment the first time I did it. I walked by the tallest people in my life, and I felt it was it was like a mob of tall people. The feeling that I got walking by them. You're not that short. They must have been nine feet tall. All of them. There were women too. All of them were enormous. Are they like Europeans visiting for the world? No, I don't. They were, I don't think so. They didn't look like it. It felt like I was in one of those like houses in the kid that the kids have with the mirrors where everything is enormous. And it was this quick moment. I looked at Mike like, was everybody just tall? Because I had this moment of just I felt like a nobody in this tall little area. It was so weird. That was my first up. My second up, the high or the the bug out, quite a different scenario. This was my one of my nonsense. Oh boy.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_00So I think the first one was nonsense, it was tall, which was that. I was everybody was tall around me. It was fucking weird as shit. The second one, the second time I re-out by myself. Maybe I should wait for that one to hit before I give you this. Too big. Before I give you this.
SPEAKER_01Well, do you want to talk about what we're smoking first?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. Go ahead. Here. Oh my god. I ripped that. You have it open. Did you find it? Oh okay. I ripped that way too hard. Ouch. I feel it already. Well, that was a wand. Well, it was a that was too much. Those hits that you let you words literate words are. They don't they don't sometimes. I had a five before I came out here with them. I had a mop water. When did you finish that? Fine o'clock. Oh, recently. Yeah. I thought you meant maybe at your mom.
SPEAKER_01No, no. Granddaddy Purple, also known as GDP or granddaddy GDP. Is a heavy indica dominant strain created through crossing the classic big bud and purple oracle strains. This flavorful bud is said to be the grandfather of all weed strains, packing timeless full-bodied effects, and the infamous flavor that will leave you begging for more. If this is the grandfather of all weed strains, the grandfather, wait, wait, I know. If this is the grandfather of all weed strains, then Girl Scout cookies must be the grandmother because that bitch is in everything we smoke.
SPEAKER_00I don't think I ever expected something to say, the grandfather of all the weeds. This is like Adam and Eve of the weed. This is like an old school strain.
SPEAKER_01The granddaddy purple high hits you first with a cerebral cerebral rush that leaves you feeling completely euphoric, although with the slight numbing effects, a slightly psychedelic effect will slowly wash over your mind, leaving it floating through trippy visions as your body falls into a deep sense of relaxation before I went into the casino last night.
SPEAKER_00Thank you. I let me tell you, I'm gonna let you finish. Psychedelic is exactly what I'm about to tell you.
SPEAKER_01Uh I'm gonna let you finish, but no. Uh Granddaddy Purple is the perfect bud for killing the effects of chronic pain, muscle spasms, insomnia, and appetite loss. The bud has a super sweet grape flavor that is a heavily pungent, harsh aftertaste that can overwhelm some. I think it tastes good. I taste the grape, though. Oh, I do.
SPEAKER_00It tastes like a you know a deep in our week six hits though, by while you were reading this. You're gonna be really hallucinating some shit. I don't mind it.
SPEAKER_01The aroma is pretty powerful with hints of sweet grape and berry. Acented, accented? What that sounds weird. Um high. Acented by heavy, spicy pungent sea. That's pretty harsh in itself, too. Granddaddy purple buds are strikingly purple, spattered with bright, fiery orange hairs encoded in sweet, sticky resin. Trusting effects. Euphoria, happy, hungry, relaxing. I hate the hungry eyes. I don't want to be hungry. No, I like the zone out. I like being zoned out. I don't want to be hungry. And uh um cold soda, that's all I want. Whatever high fat feels good on. That's what I like. I don't like the munchies.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I don't wanna. I don't wanna, but I like you can't tell my brain to shut up.
SPEAKER_01I'm like, fine, one thing. That's why I think I like the sour. I feel like I don't know what it is, but it checks some other box for me because if I have the munchies and I start eating something crunchy, I don't want to stop. But the sour stuff I can stop.
SPEAKER_00Well, because you can't have too much sour. You can't overdose on the sour. That's too much. Yeah. Your body's like, okay. Do you hear him? Who is that? The man hawking the loop. I don't know if that was a dog. No, that's the guy that always hawks a loop. Yeah. I thought that was a fox or an animal, a dog. Oh my god. All right, so you want me to tell you about my second high? Yeah. It's just a quick like doozy. I maybe did like half of those baby weed, like the whole half of it by myself because I wanted to be there for a while. And it really didn't last for that long, but I was there. I was like, I haven't felt like porch high outside of porch high in a long time. Like public. I was like, how am I gonna react to this? So Yeah, I don't enjoy that high. I had to go to the bathroom as soon as we walked. So Mike sat down. I'm like, I'll I'll just meet you back here. So I went on my own. I am fucked up to the bathroom. To the bathroom, stoned. In a casino. So which I brought now. I would have gone to my room. Brought me to mom's in the casino field trip.
SPEAKER_01No, thank you.
SPEAKER_00We don't play, we just fucking sit there for an hour and people watch.
SPEAKER_01Oh, and get to us. I'll sit at the bar and people watch.
SPEAKER_00No, I could just sit at a slot machine and not play and just just this. Oh, I would do that. I don't want to gamble. I don't enjoy that. We don't have to gamble. I wish I didn't. I wish I didn't enjoy it. We don't have to, we just people watch because this is what happens. So this was my I was womped and I was having this thought, and I know it was happening in my head, and I kept saying, I kept saying, How am I gonna remember the song style? Haley, what words should I remember? Because I can't, what am I gonna do? Should I why don't you just record a voice memo to me? No, I could have just texted you instead of having this, but I knew I had to pee and I I didn't want to take my phone out because I had to use my hands. I was happy okay, okay. So I'm going through a list of ways to remember this one fucking detail of this story, which I know what it is. I remembered it. I didn't even have to look. You want this?
SPEAKER_01No, we literally spoke just to that as a little big ass joint. I know I kind of felt this not sure if I feel it.
SPEAKER_00I don't know. All right, so anyway, oh no, I know I feel it, but I don't know if like five head it's gonna get stronger, or if I or if it's because I did take five in your description. Okay. So I had a bunch of moments, and somehow you got weaved into my mom. Okay, so as I'm walking to the bathroom, so he's sitting in a slot machine. So I had to kind of we weren't like right next to the bathroom. I had to bob and weave around machines across the hallway to get towards the bathroom. It wasn't like a I'm right here. So you know like all of the sounds that are going on as the machines are playing? This is what sounds like it would be a fucking nightmare for me. Hi, this is stoned. Not if we're just sitting there together and we're fucking okay, but l but but I was aware of what was happening. So you know the sounds okay the floor is like weird patterns. It's weird patterns. Oh no, does he start moving? No, there's a lot of people and all all of a sudden all of a sudden. I felt like I was in the 1950s. Yeah. You time traveled? I did. The music that was on, and this is what I was afraid I was gonna forget, was like Backstreet Boys larger than life. As all of the sounds were happening, the people were just shuffling back and forth.
SPEAKER_01It just felt like I was back in the old days in the 1950s, which is funny because in the 80s, the 50s were 30 years ago, and right now the backstreet boys were 30 years ago for us. Oh, that's funny. Yeah, so that happened. Oh, ooh, which was weird. Lightning bugs right by you. What am I supposed to do? Pet it? Don't hit it. I know it doesn't like light.
SPEAKER_00Go away. We're very lit up right now.
SPEAKER_01We're very lit up right now.
SPEAKER_00So there's that, and then it got carried on to you because then I texted you in the bathroom because I was so desperately afraid I was gonna forget larger than life. Yeah. That was a song. Oh, that was a song.
SPEAKER_01I thought you were saying that the people were really tall and they were larger than life.
SPEAKER_00So then I get to Mike and I'm like, I'm telling him, I'm like, you know what's funny is that this is the first time that you've come down to my dad's house. I was saying it's Mike. And I don't know why I brought it up now that I think about it. Was it right after I texted you? Asking what day? No, I think it was right after I texted you my nonsense. I said, I think I in my head, I think that I just feel bad of how far away that they live, so I never asked anybody to come. I get it. No, I don't know why I thought about that when I was high. But it's very weird. And then I thought about I was freaking out that it was today. No field trip. I was like, I need to, I gotta like go to my mom. No, not today. Memorial day, not Memorial Day. July 4th. So, yeah. I you know what you should have done? Or I should have told you to do? You should invite your brother so he can come down and flirt with my mom.
SPEAKER_01She would have loved that. I'm gonna do some of our warheads popping candy drugs now. It's not actual drugs, people don't freak out.
SPEAKER_00We had a lot more nonsense, by the way. It's been a while. Oh, we have to talk about. I haven't seen it.
SPEAKER_01Right. I we didn't talk about Father's Day. We texted back and forth, but Oh my god. Oh my god, it's feels so good.
SPEAKER_00Okay, another bathroom story. It's raining in my mouth. I could hear it popping when I was listening to the last episode. Can you hear that like? I walked into the bathroom in the lounge, like in the Borgata Lounge, my for the whatever, for the dinners in there. So I walk in the bathroom as we're eating. I there's like a little bathroom to the whatever. So I stop in. As I'm walking in, the woman that's cleaning it walks out of a stall and like kind of leaves the door open for me. And I know it's the handicapped one, kind of leaves like the stall open and like gives me the eyeball, like, it's open, go ahead. So I'm like, okay. So I go in, I come back out, I open the door. Oh no. And there's a woman in a fucking wheelchair waiting. Oh, what did you do? I was so pissed. I felt like I took a handicapped parking spot. I was so, I'm like, but I didn't want to do this in my brain. Is everybody down? Yeah. I'm like, oh my god. And I like kept the I held the door open for her. I like closed it for her. I felt awful. I was devastated. Oh, it's the first time it's ever happened to me. Yes, it's the first time it ever happened to me. What a- It was terrible. It was a terrible moment for me. I don't know if it's also because I have a brother that's handicapped right now. I don't know if that entered my mind. I was just devastated that that happened. I could have gone to another stall, but she gave me the go-ahead, you know? That's wow. Wow. That's really fucking sour. What is that one? Holy shit. What is that? Oh my god. Is it liquor? What is it? Oh. Oh, it's a dream sour warhead.
SPEAKER_01That tastes really bad. Bad?
SPEAKER_00Oh, look at your face. We're not getting it.
SPEAKER_01Oh god.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I guess not. We're not getting as reaction.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you're gonna hate that. Like a fruity one. Then it tastes like a sweet tart. Now it's manageable. That was that was a kick in the mouth, that's for sure. It's got this weird fruity taste to it.
SPEAKER_00Like a bath and body work. It's very unnatural. Like sometimes when you get it up your nose and you smell it when it comes out, there's a lot of it. What is the flavor? Oh, that's that's watermelon. Watermelon? Yeah. It doesn't taste like it at all. Oof. Like shampoo. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It does. It tastes like shampoo.
SPEAKER_00No, for real. I don't think I like that. I think that's the sour part. Now it tastes more like a watermelon.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh. What? The girls today were at Whole Foods before we went to my mom's and they wanted new popsicles for her house. They found these popsicles that are sour flavor and they wanted to try them because they they like sour, but not like not what we just had. They would die. It's coated like the fruit riot, except it's a popsicle and not a healthy piece of fruit. But it has that like sour candy coating on the outside. They hated it. They threw them away.
SPEAKER_00I'm like, why didn't you give it to me? Oh, it's right here. Oh my week. This wasn't nonsense. This was just thank god my algorithm is back to crabs.
SPEAKER_01Please, for the people that did not listen to the episode where we talked about that, can you tell them what kind of crabs you mean?
SPEAKER_00I just like watching them open up king crabs or like a crab, a whole shell. I it's I don't know. I want to know the technique of opening. Is this a whole thing into it? It's very strange. You know, I was happy that my algorithm turned to NYX. Yeah. And somehow, I don't know how it made its way back to crabs. I didn't even look, I haven't Googled anything crab related, but it was like, remember me? I'm like, yeah, I do. Thank you all. You're back. Bring me back. All right, tell me about your week.
SPEAKER_01Go ahead. So Father's Day. I actually couldn't tell you what happened on Father's Day, except that my mom broke her foot. Yeah, how did that go? Did you watch it happen? Uh-uh. We were at my in-laws and my brother texted me. My brother and nephew texted me at the same time. One said, What's your ETA? They both asked at the same time what our ETA was. I was like, Oh, we're still at Al's parents, like, we'll leave in an hour. And then my brother goes, Not to alarm you, but your mom fell and think she broke her ankle.
SPEAKER_00Oh, you weren't even there when it happened? No, I didn't really know.
SPEAKER_01He's like, I don't think that's the case. Like everyone's sense was that they thought she was being dramatic because she wasn't crying. But as soon as I got her in the car to take her to the hospital, she started crying. And she was just trying to keep it together for everybody. So I'm like, oh shit. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Like when she was refused to they see her? Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01They saw it all happen. So like how she refused to go to the hospital. She was holding like a bin of stuff to bring to the grill, and she fell at like one of the last steps by the pool. Okay. And the way, I guess, whatever, with the way she landed, she thought she broke her foot. And I was like, if she thought she broke her foot, why isn't she going to the hospital? And every other was saying that she didn't want to. I'm like, all right, well, I'm on my way. So we just get up and then go because I'm not going to give her an option. I'm going to make her get in the car and we're going to get an x-ray. And then so I get there. It doesn't look normal. Like there's clearly something wrong. But it was like when we stood her up and the way her foot was hanging, I was like, oh, look good. Um, we were gonna go to the to the like urgent med because you can get an x-ray on the spot in an urgent med. Thank God we didn't. But I was like, you know what? Let's go to the regular emergency room because if you're in pain, at least they can give you something for the pain on the spot. You're not rolling into a mergy med that can't give you anything, waiting, whatever. So we go to the hospital. So when you got there, yeah, yeah. Yeah, she was crying and I had to put her in a wheelchair. She could like it was really hard to help her get up to the car and everything. It was it was tough. Her back well, you've never been there, but their backyard is like really steep. It was it was hard. So we get to the hospital and they do an x-ray. They're like, Well, the f everything looks okay, but there's this, you know, line in the heel that we think, you know, at some point it was might have been broken because we can't really um tell how old the fracture is from the x-ray. Okay. But we want to do a CAT scan so we can like really see what's going on there. So first we thought, like, oh, an old injury to her foot, nothing showing broken in the x-ray. She'll be in a walking cast, no problem. They'll be on their trip to Paris in 10 days. So they come back and they say they want to send for a CT scan to see that bone more clearly. And then when they come back from that CT scan, they say there's a couple of breaks, including the heel, is a new break. They have to call the podiatrist to look at the scan. So that was what the radiologist saw. So they go back, they're waiting for the podiatrist. They come back, I don't know, an hour later. Is this what you were waiting for? Well, no, I was waiting for the podiatrist to actually come talk to us. Okay. That was a whole different thing. So then NP comes back in and she's like, you have to have surgery. We're all like, I'm sorry, but we went from we were gonna go to an urgent care because we thought it was a bad sprain to, oh, there might be like an old break. It must be a sprain because there's nothing on the x-rays, to you you're having you're having surgery. And that was really hard. She was started crying, okay. This is the elephant in the room. They have this trip planned. All the questions revolve around the trip. Can the surgery wait? Right. Is the surgery actually optional? What are the other options? Can she be in an air cast for this trip? Like, we don't know the severity of what the brakes are. They're like, there's a couple fractures. And anybody I've known to hurt their foot is in an air cast in a walking boot. Um, so it turns out whatever the foot plate, I don't know, there's some bone that connects to the um ankle that she needed to have pins put in. And then the the resident came in to see her and was like, I understand that you might not want to do this right now, but if you don't do this right now, that's gonna get worse and you're not gonna be able to walk anymore. Oh god. So we're like, okay, trip's canceled, we're not doing that. I think because at first we didn't think it was so serious, and then we're like, this is so ridiculous, it can't be that severe. And then they came in and we're like, actually, no, it's actually incredibly severe. I wanted to wait with my mom to talk to the podiatrist because I think shh she was not asking the questions that she really wanted to ask. So I was just asking them. I'll I'm as I'm like, I'm assuming my mom is worried about, you know. My stepdad didn't want me to be having to figure out how to get home. So he wanted to drive me home. And I could tell he was getting really tired. So I'm like, all right, let's just go. I had to leave my mom in the hospital, not even checked into her room yet. Well, you know, without having met the doctor yet. She's so upset. I didn't want to leave her, but he was not then you should have just had me come pick you up.
SPEAKER_00But he would not have ever left. If I was there, if you said come here and didn't tell him and I showed up and he saw you come home with me, he would have been fine to know you came home with me. Yeah. And he would could have gone home and you could have come this way, and he didn't have to drop off first and then go. No, no, I know, but I wanted to stay with my mom. That was the whole point. Like, okay, but had he sold me and I just stayed there and waited for you. Oh, yeah, I guess. Whatever.
SPEAKER_01I left anyway. I had to come home because we were supposed to go away the next day. I hadn't packed anything, I hadn't done laundry. I got walked in the door, it was like 10 30. Oh my god. Walked in the door, it was 10 30. I looked it out and I'm like, um, I'm so tired. And I'm crazy before we go away. I clean everything. I want to come home to perfectly clean house and no laundry and like everything. And I didn't, I got all the time was taken away on Sunday. Right. So I'm like, fuck it. I'm just gonna wake up at 4 a.m., throw a bunch of shit in suitcases, and we'll leave at six because I had to I had to work all week. Yeah. So we decided to go because my mom was in the hospital. They didn't they were like, surgery's probably gonna be Monday, Tuesday. You won't come home until Wednesday. Did she have it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Last it was last week. She had it on the ended up having it on Monday. Yeah, so we went down the shore, and then um I had two people call out on Monday for what ended up being basically the whole week. My work schedule was insane, so much harder than I was ready for because I had three people out. One was planned and I knew and I was ready for, and then the other two I was not prepared for at all. So it was a hard week. I was drinking a lot of THC at night, and then you know, everything with my mom. She's back home in her bed, but can't do anything. It was she's very upset, it was very dramatic.
SPEAKER_00Well, it's always shitty when you're looking like so much forward to something, and then it gets taken away from you for like something so silly, like the snap of your fingers. Okay, those as bad as you just have the wood you go. Nope. Don't like it.
SPEAKER_01Nope. Why?
SPEAKER_00Too perfumey, a plasticky taste. Yeah. And a fake sugar. I don't think I'd get it down. That's what that's funny. I do have the Legacy. I'm just eating these. Okay, let me ask you a question. If you were to go to one of your kids' games and if a wife were to talk to your husband more than they even like acknowledged you, would you feel weird about that? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I really do believe we get to an age where the like the male-female friendship dynamic shifts again. Where like I don't think it's appropriate. Like, I have my guy friends from college, and like maybe when we see each other, we'll like go run an errand together. Like, oh, we'll run down to the liquor store together or something like that. But like, I'm not hanging out with the guy friends just on my own. I feel like then it becomes almost like couple friends, and like that's how you have guy friends. Is this making sense? No, I lost me. You lost me at all. I would consider Mike one of my friends.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Or like, I'm not hanging out with Mike by myself. Right.
SPEAKER_00But you will go to the liquor store with him by yourself. Yeah, I guess. Well, that would be the same thing, wouldn't it? But it's not like we're not going to the liquor store so we can hang out. But I have a follow-up to that. It's a different scenario when you knew the the guy first before you knew the wife that came into it. It's a different scenario. Yeah, and I wouldn't feel weird if Mike was there and I wasn't there.
SPEAKER_01No. But it's still like, I don't know. I feel like it's not like I'm friends with both of you. Right. You know?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like not I don't know. I don't know how to put my finger on it.
SPEAKER_00Well, but is what I'm saying making sense to you? Or no? Would I be pissed if she was talking about it? Not pissed, but like I'm not pissed. It's just like an awkward like I would try to engage a little bit and it was like a little off-putting.
SPEAKER_01It was weird. Yeah, that's I guess I'm saying that's it's weird because I think of being friends with guys now is like being friends with both the wife and the husband. So like I would never be talking to just the guy, not the wife. So like that's yes, it's weird. I'm saying I agree with you because I do think that's weird. Okay. But also because the way I think about women having guy friends, like when you're older and married and stuff.
SPEAKER_00Well, but here's there's a difference to that, and this goes off of what you were saying. I am I was always good friends with the guys from his fraternity, and eventually they get married and we still hang out, and I'm with them because I grew up with them. They're I've seen a lot of life things happen in their lives. And so when the girls would like stay in the kitchen and talk, I'm like, well, this feels weird because. Like, I want to participate and I am participating, but it's like when they're all like talking about their husbands, it's like oh I fully get that they came first in that scenario. And so I'm like a little like awkward about it. I'm like, you know, gotta do that. So it's just a different relationship when you've already known when you've grown up with the the the guy in this relationship. So in that comparison, I don't think you can pair. If you have a relationship with somebody prior to knowing the significant other, just because they happen to be the same gender, it's like a requirement that a stigma that you hang out with the women and the men hang out with the men's.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but I will say, I don't typically get to see my college friends in like a bit as a big group of people, it's like one or maybe two at the same time. So I think about it more as like interacting with those friends. Like when we go see my friends in Cincinnati, it's us staying at their house. So I'm like just with them sometimes, and that's like I feel like the playing field is equal. But when I'm with my group of friends and everybody peels off, then it's me and my husband talking with the guys, and I'm the lone.
SPEAKER_00But I also sometimes I feel like I have to talk to the wives, and I do. So I like yes, go yonder.
SPEAKER_01If there's gonna be like group bashing on my bashing. It's just like simple comments that you're like, uh plain. But yeah, I get what you're saying because I'm in that situation a lot with my friends.
SPEAKER_00Oh, you know what? Maybe if I turn the fire on, bugs will go away. Perhaps.
SPEAKER_01Well, let me shed a few layers because I'm not dressed for fire pits.
SPEAKER_00It's not that warm. What else do we have? Clouds sitting in the emergency room with my mom. Clouds? I said clouds, you said clouds. Nonsense.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. On Father's Day, it was the strangest thing. This is really tripping me out. Every time I looked out the window, we were at my in-laws, the clouds looked like they were not moving.
SPEAKER_00Were we high too when you went? No. Oh, yeah, you think about that. Go ahead. I'll watch you ponder. I actually don't know. I ought to take it going.
SPEAKER_01So you don't even know. But I did say it out loud. And my sister-in-law agreed with me. But they weren't moving? Uh-huh. You had to be. How could you not be high if you were looking? I don't know. And then I texted one of my girlfriends and I was like, hey, are the clouds moving by you? I must have been stoned. You had to be. And she was like, Oh my god, that's really weird. No, they don't look like they're moving. But then every time I glanced up, they looked different. But when you stared at them, they were not moving. I have a video. I have a video. I have a video of this. I don't like how you're looking around me with the bugs. Here, look, this is a video. Look, I did. They're not fucking moving.
SPEAKER_00Right, but it's a picture. So a picture. That's a video. What? How long is the video? How many seconds? How did you notice that? What made you notice that?
SPEAKER_01I don't know. It was really pretty blue skies, big white, fluffy clouds. I love looking at clouds. I love looking at clouds. They are not moving. That is a video. I will confirm I get the munchies from this, and I do not like that.
SPEAKER_00Just dig deep in there. They're all stuck together. Oh lord. We haven't done our usual, usual myth.
SPEAKER_01We haven't talked about the bridge.
SPEAKER_00The black hole before wasn't so black holy.
SPEAKER_01I don't what the fuck's with the fucking bugs tonight? I'm so glad I'm fully clothed.
SPEAKER_00Oh man. What should I say? The porch is always open. She's coming to your house. Get rich.
SPEAKER_01Should I come with the microphone?
SPEAKER_00You'll definitely be high there. I just picked some conversations that we're having.
SPEAKER_01That sounds like I would not enjoy editing that.
SPEAKER_00No, but that also sounds difficult because I don't want to be womped and associating myself with that many people. You know, you know what's funny? I fucking can't believe I never told you this. What? It's like a random high moment. For years. I'm talking five or six ever since my dad moved into that house. I don't know how long it's been. Five, six, five, four, five, six, whatever. Years. Every time there was a party, there would be a handful of us that wound up on the front porch having hours-long chat, smoking and being high, and whatever. This has and I went, I recently went back and I was like, oh my god. The porch is always on the screen. That's what I'm always doing. I'm always on the porch. So we'll have a porch and I'm sure we'll be on it. Or we'll be in the garage. I never know what day or time you're serving. Sid. Every day ending and why.
SPEAKER_01How long does he think it takes us to get an entire episode?
SPEAKER_00Like sometimes when Mike does, but at least you can keep him on.
SPEAKER_01All right, well. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I don't feel like you're gonna say that.
SPEAKER_01Alright. Well, tootaloo. That's I need to depart now.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01You can chit talk me later.
