Hi friends, welcome to It's Time to Eat. I'm your host, Winifer. Come on in and join me for prayer. Have a seat. I'm always so happy when you stop by. I want to ask you a question. Have you shared the podcast, It's Time to Eat, Matthew 4.4? Meaning that man should not live by bread alone. I'm asking you to share it with your friends and family members. This is a podcast that ministers the Word of God through prayer and Bible study. Well, today is going to be a day that we're going to dedicate ourselves to Christ as our Lord and Savior. Those who have been thinking about it, and it's time to make that big step. And then we have some friends that have backslidden, and they're like, okay, I've been out there for a little while. It's time to come back in with Jesus. So they're willing to dedicate their lives once again and allow the Holy Spirit to lead them. Excuse me. Well, let's begin by reading out of Luke chapter 1, verse 23 to 26. Luke. Luke, Luke, Luke. Chapter 9. Almost there, guys. And we're gonna find 23. I'm there. Luke chapter 9, verse 23 to 26. It says, and he said to all, if any person wills to come after me, let him deny himself, disown himself, forget, lose sight of himself and his own interests. Refuse and give up himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. Cleave steadfastly to me, conform wholly to my example in living and in need of and dying also. For whoever would preserve his own life and save it shall lose and destroy it. But whoever loses his life for my sake, he will preserve and save it from the penalty of eternal death. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and ruins or forfeits, loses himself? Excuse me, because whoever is ashamed of me and of my teachings, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in the threefold glory, the splendor and majesty of himself and of the Father and of the holy angels. Yes, I am inviting you, just like Jesus did. And all those who are called, don't be afraid. Come and follow him. Now I want to go to 2 Corinthians chapter 6, verse 2. Now we're gonna read that one out of the King James Version. I want to read that. Um it says, 2 Corinthians chapter 2, I mean, sorry about that, chapter 6, verse 2, it says, for he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and then the and in the day of salvation have I secured thee. Behold, now is the accepted time. Behold, now is the day of salvation. Today is the day. Yes, it is. Today is the day to give him yourself, give yourself to him. Jesus said, now is the day. This is the day. All right, I want you to repeat after me these words, Lord Jesus. I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Come into my heart. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Isn't that amazing? You just made one of the biggest, oh my gosh, the biggest and the best decision you could have made during your lifetime. You have invited Jesus into your life, into your heart, into your soul, your spirit, you have accepted him as your Lord and Savior. Welcome to the house of the Lord. Yes. You are now born again. Yes, just like that. Now, if you haven't been baptized, it'd be a good idea to get baptized. And in order for you to further develop in your Christian walk and your journey with Christ, get in a good Bible-based church that is centered around the teachings of the Lord, so that you can develop your normal your uh knowledge and understanding, and your relationship can grow. Yes. I want to also share a few more scriptures here. Matthew chapter 10, verse 32. Matthew chapter 10, verse 32. Bear with me. Bear with me. We're almost there. Okay, it says, Matthew chapter 10, verse 32 says, Therefore, everyone who acknowledges me before men and confesses me out of a state of oneness with me, I will also acknowledge him before my father, who is in heaven, and confess that I am abiding in him. You hear that? That's wonderful. Let's also turn over to Romans chapter 3, verse 23. Okay. Romans chapter 3, verse 23 tells us, since all have sinned and are fallen short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives. All are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by his grace, his unmerited favor and mercy through the redemption which is provided in Christ Jesus. Isn't that wonderful? It's amazing. There's one more passage I want to share with you. I read out of the Bible all the time, but this is one that I read daily. Um because it's one that confesses sins that we encounter on a day-to-day basis. And I just put it in there as part of my prayer life. This is giving you examples of different scriptures that you want or might want to uh adapt into your um your relationship as you grow further in your knowledge and understanding with Christ, um, until you are inspired by the Holy Spirit as to the scriptures that you so desire to call out on on a day-to-day basis during your journey. But this is one here, my last one I'm gonna put before you one that I enjoy um reading. It's Psalms 51. Okay. It says, Have mercy upon me, O God, according to your steadfast love, according to the multitude of your tender mercy and loving kindness, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly and repeatedly from my iniquity, and guilt and cleanse me and make me holy, pure from my sin. For I am conscious of my transgressions, and I acknowledge them. My sin is ever before me. Against you, you only have I sinned and done that which is evil in your sight, so that you are justified in your sentence and faultless in your judgment. Behold, I was brought forth in a state of iniquity. My mother was sinful who conceived me, and I too am sinful. Behold, you desire truth in the inner being. Make me therefore to know wisdom in my inmost heart. Purify me with hysop, and I shall be clean, ceremonially wash me, and I shall be, in reality, be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness and be satisfied. Let the bones which you have broken rejoice. Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity and guilt. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, preserving and steadfast spirit within me. Cast me not away from my exp my present. Excuse me, Lord, cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then will I teach transgressors your ways, and sinners shall be converted and return to you. Deliver me from blood guiltiness and death, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of your righteousness, your rightness and your justice. O Lord, open my lips and my mouth shall show forth your praise, for you delight not in sacrifice, or else would I give it. You find no pleasure in burnt offering. My sacrifice, the sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, broken down with sorrow for sin, and humbly and thoroughly penitent. Such, O God, you will not despise. Do good in your good pleasure to Zion, rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Then will you delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, justice, and right, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering, with books will you offer upon your altar? Amen. Lord, I ask that you will bless us all and that we'll continue on our journey and walk with you. I pray that you will remind us of this prayer. Psalms 51. Lord, let your will be done. In Jesus' name. Amen. Friends, I truly want to thank you for stopping by. And once again, I want to congratulate you on that next step that you have taken. It's one of the biggest steps of your lifetime. Will you have been accepted into the kingdom of God? Amen. Hallelujah. All of heaven is rejoicing over what you have decided to do. Follow Christ. Holy Spirit, I ask in Jesus' name that you will go and tie each and every last one of their homes and rid any evil that would try to come against what my friends have decided to do and let them follow you in Jesus' name. Lord, let your will be done. Amen, amen, amen. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Okay, friends. I just want to say thank you once again for stopping by. I always enjoy your company. And I'm praying and asking God to strengthen you and just love you continually. And you love him too. In Jesus' name, in Jesus' name, that is a powerful name. Have a blessed week. Have a blessed week until we meet next time. And then we'll get to pray and rejoice some more. I'm just so full of the fire of God. Oh my goodness, the Holy Spirit has me brewing here. Thank you, Jesus. I just want to thank you. Yes, I do. Thank you, Lord. I want to thank you. I am just so happy. So happy and full of joy. Oh my goodness, so full of joy that cannot be quenched. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you. Thank you. Now, if you have not subscribed to my podcast, I pray that you will. Yes, I do. This is an a re this is a rewarding and blessed prayer ministry. Understanding, understanding the word of God and praying. I thank you so much. Have a wonderful week.
