Hi friends, welcome to Matthew 4.4. I'm your host, Winifer. Today I'm going to talk about Matthew 4.4. How I was inspired to start speaking on the teachings of Jesus through my personal memoirs. Let's start out by turning to Matthew 4.4. This is Jesus. He's talking to Satan. And he's trying to get Satan to understand that man shouldn't live off of bread alone. Matthew 4.4, we're going to start with verse 1 and 2. Says then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. He fasted for forty days and forty nights, and afterwards he was hungry. Verse 3 and 4 tells us the tempter approached and said to him, If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become loaves of bread. He said in reply, It is written, this is Jesus saying this, one does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God. That's my belief here on my little platform. When we have been held captive by the enemy, and only you know what your enemy has tried to do to you. When it's not God's will for you to go through that blazing furnace, come over here and listen to what Matthew 4.4 has to say about that man named Jesus. Let's go to Proverbs chapter 5, verse 22 to 23. This is some scripture that tells you about being held captive by the enemies where you're bound down. It doesn't mean like visually, you can feel when your spirit is held down by the evil forces. Because remember, this is not a war against flesh and blood, it's the principalities. Okay? Now, Proverbs chapter 5, verse 22 and 23. It says, By his own iniquities, the wicked man will be caught. In the meshes of his own sin, he will be held fast. Verse 23, he will die from lack of discipline. Through the greatness of his folly, he will be lost. Isaiah forty-nine, verse twenty-four and twenty-five goes on to say, twenty-four, twenty-five. Thus says the Lord, can booty be taken from a warrior, or captives be rescued from a tyrant? When they're speaking about booty, like your treasures, your gifts, things that you have acquired through your battles, your trials and tribulations, can they be taken from you? Or captives be rescued from a tyrant? If you find yourself where someone is lording themselves over you, is it possible that you can be rescued and set free from them and their devices? Verse 25 says, Yes, captives can be taken from a warrior and booty be rescued from a tyrant. Those who oppose you I will oppose, and your sons I will save. Verse 26 says, I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh, and they shall be drunk with their own blood, as with the juice of the grape, all mankind shall know that I, the Lord, am your Savior, your redeemer. Be, excuse me, the mighty one of Jacob. When we're going through stuff and the enemy is touching us and doing things to us that are inappropriate, right here before I began to record this, Matthew 4.4, to give you an understanding as to what my platform is about. These are my memoirs, things that I have gone through. The enemy tried to attack me and I spoke words. You must resist him, and he will flee from you. You do not have to go under these things if it is not the will of God. And when it's the will of God, believe me when I say God is going to let you know you are about to be attacked. When I was, I'm going through such an attack from the enemy. It's the end. What God did is He showed me the end results. He showed me that He was going to defeat my enemies. Okay. He showed me He was going to defeat them. And he is. He's defeating them. Right as we speak. When God is showing you that you're getting ready to be attacked, He may, He, and you know what else He did? He showed me who my enemies were. But because of my love, my emotional attachment to them, I didn't receive.

SPEAKER_00

That's what made the attack so great upon me. I thought it was the enemy showing me these people were my.

SPEAKER_01

They were my enemies. He clearly does tell us your enemies are in your own household.

SPEAKER_00

He cut off. Relatives.

SPEAKER_01

And associates and friends that I thought cared for me, but they were hurting me all along. Some of the greatest attacks that I have incurred during my lifetime came from my affiliation with them. Believe him. But he showed me where he cut them off. He moved them. I could see them falling down. And just recently, do you know what I did? I reached over in the spirit and lift up my greatest enemy because I did not want that person to die. And he let me know, uh-uh. He loosed her from me. And he's letting me know this is the one who's causing all the problems for you. You can't be with them. You can't. Those are giants. Okay. I'm gonna repeat once again. When you're being held captive. And I didn't say this. It could be from people that you know or even complete strangers. Jealousy is the root of a lot of our attacks. And we're not even aware that some people are jealous of us because we don't want to entertain that. You may not even think that you have anything that anyone would want to be jealous of. You do. And let's not make light of it. I don't have like prosperity, like financial wealth, but I have wealth in the spirit. I have a fabulous relationship with the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He's my God. I'm one of the Gentiles that He set free. And I am obedient to the Holy Spirit and Christ. Be cautious because sometimes you may see Jesus in the spirit. And he'll separate a person that is praying in the spirit. When they are praying in the spirit, they may look, they may take on the appearance of Jesus or the Holy Spirit. He's gonna teach you, he's gonna train you, and he's gonna show you this vessel. That's someone that I use to set people free. And they'll say they're praying in the spirit, so the spirit is on them. And then he'll show you him, who he is, and he'll let you know this is me. Usually, when I see him, he's got his arms open for me to come to him. Okay. Usually there are times like during this attack, I have seen people where they are praying. And the latest thing that he's teaching me is they're not praying for you, they're praying for the one that's trying to cause you the pain and the harm. Don't receive the prayer that they bring your way. Because it's going to cause you pain. That means you're standing in agreement. Whatever is done here on earth is also done in heaven. It's what you agree to. Don't stand in agreement to everything just because a person, you see them in the spirit of Christ. When he show you them, it could be they're praying for that situation. Ask God to remove them. Don't be afraid because they are walking in his spirit and they're doing a ooh, they are really doing a grave injustice.

SPEAKER_00

It's blasphemy. It is, and there's no turnaround from that.

SPEAKER_01

They can't do that. You praying for me to be inflicted on something, praying and asking God to teach me how to pray to get through the hell and heaven you want to put me through. That person just personally wants to put me through it because of their affiliation with them. They know this person to be a true man or woman or servant of God. And they don't know nothing about you except for when they look back and see what your past is. Evidence of children out of wedlock. You're married to a man that's not even your children's father.

SPEAKER_00

You were a fornicator. You didn't church uh you didn't attend church every Sunday. You didn't pay your tithes and offering dutifully.

SPEAKER_01

Therefore, who taught you about the Lord? They don't understand the Holy Ghost is still teaching. If you listen to him. Listen to her prayers, how she talked. These are the same people that put Jesus up on the cross. The way they talked about him, they were jealous of him. But we're not here for that. But I want to say again, when I was telling you, Matthew 4.4 lets us know man cannot live off of bread alone. You can be hungry in your spirit, hungry for the word of God, thirsty for the word of God. Okay. Now, my God, he does, he sets us free when we have been held captive, you know, by the enemy. Only you, once again, only you know what you have gone through, and you know whether or not it is father-filtered. And so you don't have any confusion, don't have that double mind, stand on the word of God, what he said. Okay, you shouldn't have to have a go-through person. I can understand when we're babies across, we're like leer, like leery. But at some point, when you begin to be nervous and shaky, trying to trust in God, do it nervous and shaky, and believe what the Holy Ghost is telling you. Because Acts chapter 2, verse 1 through 13 tells us how those fiery tongues came on and they settled upon the disciples. They will settle upon you too. They already did. And they boldly went out and preached the word of God because his power was strong within them. It's saying you too. But how they keep it down low is to have you lower your self-esteem where you don't believe. God can really use me. Jesus really wants me. I don't know that much about him. They didn't know much about him either. But they trusted. And they had people to edify their spirit, they had people to build them up. You might not have anybody to lift you up except Matthew 4.4, or just the Holy Spirit. And he's, I don't even mean ask God to forgive me to classify him as a just. He's amazing. Okay? Now let's go over here. Because there'll be times when uh, if it's not God's will for you to go through a blazing furnace, uh, come on over here to Matthew 4.4 and pull, just click on one of those passages. No matter how country it sounds, listen to it. And before you listen to it, pray and ask God to make sure that's where you want to be. He wants you to be, to hear what he has to say, and he'll reveal it to you. He'll say, Yay or nay. No going on down the road and listen to somebody else. Or he'll say, Stay right there with her, because I'm with Winifer. He can be here, there, everywhere at the same time. His schedule is not minimal. It is why. Let's go to Isaiah 43, verse 1 and 2. Because there may be times when you are walking in that furnace. And when I say furnace, you might be going through something. The rent's due, the car payments due, everything is due, and there ain't no money. You don't thought you were gonna get that paycheck, but it's it's been held up. And you don't have no other means, you don't have anyone that you can reach out to to pay the bills. And you definitely don't want to go and pay no bills laying on your back. Don't do that. Be set free from that kind of mentality. You don't want to make promises that you can't keep. Learn how to wait on him. And I mean, I have waited where it seemed like it's that last hour. I'm like, thank you for showing up. And what about when is that last hour he show up? And you don't have all of what you need, you just got a portion of it. It's just like somebody was bathing you. Thank God for it, anyhow. Right, Isaiah 43, verse 1 to 2. It says, But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and formed you, O Israel, fear not, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name. You are mine. You when you pass through the water, I will be with you. In the rivers you shall not drown. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned. The flames shall not consume you. Let's move on over to Daniel. Chapter three. Because most people have heard about those three Hebrew guys that were in that flame. Daniel chapter three, verse fifteen B to eighteen. It says you shall be instantly cast into the white hot furnace, and who is the God that can deliver you out of my hands? Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered King Nebuchadnezzar, there is no need for us to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If our God whom you serve can save us from the white hot furnace and from your hands, O King, may he save us. Verse 18 says, But even if he will not know, O King, that we will not serve your God or worship the golden statue which you set up. There come a time in your life where you ain't gonna follow behind anything people are saying. You are not. You rather, hey, go ahead on and sling me on in there. Because it's better for them to hurt you up than for you to come up against God to judge. Now, verse 19 through 24 tells us Nebuchadnezzar's face became livid with utter rage against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He ordered the furnace to be heated seven times more than usual, and had some of the strongest men in his army bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and cast them into the white hot furnace. You didn't say they hadn't binded. They mean they were tied up, they couldn't get out, they couldn't do nothing but just wiggle, if need be. They were bound and cast into the white hot furnace with their coats, hats, shoes, and other garments. They meant for them to burn. For the king's order was urgent. So huge a fire was kindled in the furnace that the flames devoured the man who threw, I repeat, the man who threw Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego into it. So let me tell you, when your enemies are beating you down, man, please, the very thing that they're trying to do to you. You'll turn around and you'll see, and I ain't talking about looking back with regret. Them getting caught up in what they did. The flames they set for you. You see, they put a hat, shoes, a coat, everything on them, knowing it is hot in there. Well, make sure you burn, because see that material is gonna catch on fire. Okay. But these three fell bound into the midst of the white hawk furnace. In the fire, asariah stood up and prayed aloud. Here they were bound, but they were still looking at it. They got up from there and they walked around, praising who? God. Okay. Let's go over here to 44 to 51. Verse 44 to 51, because this is still in chapter 3. Let all those be routed who inflict evils on your servants. Let them be shamed and powerless and their strength broken. Let them know that you alone are the Lord God. Over the whole world. Now the king's men who had thrown them in continued to stroke the furnace with brimstone, pitch, toe, and fagots. The flames rose forty-nine cupboards above the furnace and spread out, burning the coal things nearby. But the angel of the Lord looked down into the furnace with Azariah and his companions, drove the fiery flames out of the furnace, and made the inside of the furnace as though and made the inside of the furnace as though a dew laden breeze were blowing through it. The fire in no way touched them or caused them pain or harm. Then these three in the furnace with one voice saying, glorifying and blessing God. They were comfortable. Everything inside the furnace was feeling good. Okay. And everything outside of the furnace was a mess. It was a blaze. The very thing that they wanted to do to them was being done to them. I've said this many times to people that have tried to cause me harm. Okay. Now, verse 90b to 93 says, Hearing them sing and astonished at seeing them alive, King Nebuchadnezzar rose and asked his nobles, Did we not cast three men bound into the fire? Assuredly, O king, they answered. But he replied, I see four men unfettered and unhurt, walking in the fire, and the fourth one like a son of God. Oh my goodness. Then Nebuchadnezzar came to the opening of the white hot furnace and called to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Servants of the Most High God come out. Yeah. Thereupon Shedrak, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the fire. And guess what? They were no longer bound. He set them free right there in the fire. Yes, he did. Let's go on to verse 97. Then the king promoted Shedrech, Meshach, and Abednego in the providence of Babylon. After you have gone through that blaze. And remember, the Lord is with you. He is going to bless you for the hell people have tried to put you through. I'm a witness. Receive it. Receive it. You hear me? Because there are things that people themselves want to put us through for no apparent reason other than just to see us suffer, to just to laugh and to get tickled over something like that. But hold on, because Luke chapter 1, verse 44 tells us blessed are you who believe that what was spoken to you by the Lord will be fulfilled. Hold on and trust in the Lord and know that He is with you. God isn't in the business of binding us. He sets us free from those that held you captive, even if it's due to self-destructive behaviors. He's a chainbreaker. He opened prison doors, shatters generational curses, and the boomerang effect, which means return to sender. Okay. Don't expect me to allow you access to me on the basis of giving you a free pass that caused me harm due to your own reptilite thoughts of me. Okay? Let's turn over to Matthew chapter seven. Matthew chapter seven, verse twelve. This one I want to say, excuse me to God, because it's interrupting him while he's talking. But Matthew chapter seven, verse 12 says, Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. This is the law and the prophets. You don't want it done to you, don't do it to me. Okay. And Luke chapter 6. Verse 31 also says, excuse me, Lord, because they're interrupting him while he's talking. It's in the red writing. Do to others as you would have them do to you. Okay. Yes, he does. And whenever it's returned, they have a postage stance, return to cinder, and calm negative energy and the potential of negative effect it might have caused me. Family, cause me, my family, and I throughout my bloodline. I ask God to keep us safe from that. Return that energy back to those who would cause us harm. It's negative. There are people such as me and others. You can feel that negative energy when it hits you. You can see it on them. They call it the aura. You can literally feel the energy. You can push it back and say, uh-uh, this isn't God's plan for me. That's yours, what you want me to go through. And I gotta pray and pray and pray and pray and pray. After God has told me, you ain't got to go to that. Hand it to me. It's coming right back to you. And whenever it comes back to you, it's intensified. It's worse than what you would have intended it for me and my loved ones. Because we have a right to walk through life free from chains and shackles. The enemy encouraged you to make an attempt to thrust upon us. Let's go over to Psalms 107. This is a scripture that talks about breaking chains. So let's turn to that. Psalms 107, verse 10 through 16. Excuse me. Here we go. It says, some lived in darkness and gloom in prison, bound with chains, because they rebelled against God's word, scorned the counsel of the Most High, who humbled their hearts through hardship. They stumbled with no one to help. In their distress they cried to the Lord, who saved them in their peril, led them forth from darkness and gloom, and broke their chains asunder. Let them thank the Lord for such kindness, such wondrous deeds for mere mortals, for he broke down the gates of bronze and snapped the bars of iron. Glory to God. Amen. So if you ever felt like you don't belong, you feel like God don't have nothing to do with you, and he does. You feel like if you go into a such and such a house of worship, you don't feel comfortable enough to sit in there to fellowship. They won't let you testify. Even when they opened up the platform and extended it for anyone that wanted to talk about something that God has done for them. That's for encouragement for those who might be listening for a word from God. They don't want you to stand up. Everybody can say something except for you. You got to be the one that sit there and listen to everything they got to say, whether it's right or wrong. Come on over here to Matthew 4.4 and listen to my memoirs and let the Holy Ghost reign inside of you. Be blessed in Jesus. Amen. Dear Heavenly Father, I ask in the mighty name of Jesus that you will break the chains and bonds just like you did for those three Hebrew boys when they threw them in that fiery furnace. They had them bound down and they walked out due to your deliverance. Protect and guide those who are listening to Matthew 4.4, as well as the one who reveals personal, intimate things that have occurred through my life, as well as others, praying that it will help deliver and guide through the spirit and power of the Holy Ghost that you will set people free from things that would otherwise destroy them. In Jesus' name I ask. Amen. Peace, guys.
