Hello and welcome back to the Beauty and Positivity Podcast. My name is Alyssa Skinner. If you have not yet listened to my previous episode about how life is a movie screen and you are the projector, go listen to that one before you listen to this one so that it makes sense. Because I'm gonna give you a practice to do tonight to manifest your dream life. So you've heard me say how life is always mirroring us. Life is a mirror. Life is literally holding up a mirror to our face. Hard pill to swallow. So go listen to that previous episode first because this month this episode might just piss you off if you don't. So I explained that further into the episode how it works, how it's mirroring you, how you use that to your advantage. But I want to go a little deeper and help you actually practice changing what life is reflecting to you. Because we all hear the same information, the same analogies and metaphors and different examples, but sometimes those different examples or different metaphors, they click differently for us. Or two people teach the same thing, but they say it differently, that it hits differently for you. You have an epiphany based on who you heard it from and how they explained it. So that's why I want to go a little bit deeper into this. So let's dive in. When you look at your life and you are unhappy with whatever circumstances are going on, your job, the amount of money that you bring in, maybe your partner, maybe you're single and you want a partner, maybe you're unhappy with your physical health or appearance, and you're currently trying to manifest changes to those areas, it's important you change inside first. Now, hear me out. I know that sounds cheesy, but this is why I said go listen to the last episode. You have to change your thoughts. And I go into detail about that, of course, in the Life is a movie episode. But it's equivalent to you sitting in front of a mirror and you see the mirror frowning back at you, and you're like, well, I'll smile when the reflection changes. I'll smile when the reflection smiles, right? That sounds silly. I'll stop frowning when they stop frowning in the mirror. You're probably like, okay, what kind of example is this? Of course it's reflecting me. Of course, I'm not gonna sit there and wait for the mirror to change. But that is how people look at their life. They wait for life to change to feel joy, to feel satisfaction. So it's exactly like people going on about their life saying, Well, I'll be happy when my reality changes, I'll be happy when I get this, I'll feel good about myself when I look like this. Life is reflecting us. It's reflecting what we believe, it's reflecting what we expect to get. We get what we expect, literally. The law of assumption. Another episode you can go listen to. But I truly believe that if you want to bring in more money, you have to walk around like you're rich as fuck. Embody the version of you who is already rich. So I want you to pretend you're literally walking to your Lambeau or your dream car, whatever it is, with your groceries. When you walk out of the grocery store, put those sunglasses on, and you strut to that dream car. That is the identity you're embodying now. And I want you to journal about how amazing your partner is, how they make you feel, because only then when you focus on it does it actually create. I mean, if there's something that you want out of life and you've never really sat down to think about it and visualize it, I mean, that's step one. You have to take action. So life is always reflecting us. I remember looking in the mirror one time, not liking how I looked, and I suddenly started hearing that tiny little voice critiquing my body, and I caught myself and I was like, nope, I look good today, I look curvy today. I just started making up things because I didn't believe it. It felt like a lie. I was lying to myself, and that's okay. It's better than sitting there critiquing myself. I mean, if out of the two, which one's better? At least I'm saying nice words to myself, whether I believe it or not. So now I look in the mirror and I 100% feel those feelings that used to feel fake. Now it's real. Now I love what I see. And this is why my Inlight Babe Academy focuses on identity work because we are constantly taking action, trying to get a raise, trying to work out, trying to eat healthy, trying to put effort into a relationship. Why is it so hard then? Things snowball, thinking and visualizing snowball into what it is that you want. And I know that in the beginning it feels like faking it until you make it, but that became a phrase for a reason. You fake it because you will make it. So I want you to look at parts of your life tonight that you feel could improve, and I want you to think about those situations as soon as your head hits the pillow. Close your eyes and think about what you want to feel about the work that you do. What do you want to feel about the career you have? How do you want it to make you feel? You do not have to know what the work is that you're gonna be doing if you're unsure. Because I was at a point in my life in the past, I had no idea what I wanted to do. And so that puts a lot of pressure, right? If you don't know what to manifest, how can you manifest it? Well, you manifest the feeling. I don't know what I want to do yet, but I want to feel free. I don't know how I'm gonna get rich, but I want to get rich. So in all of my past journals, I journaled, I'm free, I work for myself, I have financial freedom, I don't have to leave my house in a rush in the morning. It is crazy still to this day to me that I'm sitting here telling you all of that is true now. I was not doing hair or working for myself or financially free or or free in my time when I journaled those things. I don't even like doing hair when I journaled those things. I had no idea if I was actually gonna ever have a slow morning in my life. I did not believe the things I was journaling, and I want to be real about that because of where I am today. So we all start there. We all start in the first day, first step, first journal entry, 50th journal entry, it doesn't matter where you feel like you're lying and you feel like it's a waste of time. I'm here to tell you it is not. It's very ironic that I found a love for doing hair again, at home, having my slow mornings, not having to leave, feeling free, making the most money I've ever made. The trick is you feel the emotion of what you would feel if you had it. So I want you to think about the type of love you want to receive. How do you want to feel with the person you choose to spend your life with? Sit in those feelings, how they make you feel, how they make you feel loved, supported, special, desired. You only have to know how they make you feel. You don't have to know anything about them necessarily. But if you have those details already, add to that visualization. That's amazing. How do you want to feel when you look into the mirror and you look at yourself? Imagine waking up tomorrow morning in your dream body. Some magical spell happens and you look in the mirror and you're like, holy shit, I look so good. Wouldn't you just feel giddy? Wouldn't you scream? Would you cry? Like those emotions would be completely overwhelming, night and day, dream body. I know that sounds silly because your logical brain right now is like, that's never gonna happen. That's stupid. But logic doesn't manifest. It doesn't. It keeps you alive, keeps you alive here on earth. Logic has nothing to do with creating your future. So you can tell it, thank you so much for keeping me alive. You're not needed right now. Treat it like your assistant. And this is what I want you to spend your time doing this evening, right before you go to bed. Head hits the pillow, close your eyes, visualize all the areas of your life exactly how you want it to be, and feel the emotions because that's how you get the things you want. You your emotions create an electromagnetic field around you. It's your frequency, it's your vibration, and that that aura around you changes based on the emotion you're feeling. And that aura around you is sending the signal. That is the signal being sent out to the universe, and that is how you shift your reality. The universe shifts your reality because that's God's part, right? You don't you don't worry about the how. God shifts your reality when you send the signal. It's your job to feel, to visualize, and to send that signal. So let me know how that goes tonight. Visualize it. Do this every single night as long as you can. If you forget a couple nights, just start right back up again the next night. This is really good to do alone so that you don't hold back and you can actually allow all the feelings to come through. Cause that the stronger that emotion is, the quicker that is gonna happen for you. You're gonna manifest. I'm sending you so much love and success. Thank you so much for listening. Bye.
