These are very simple daily practices that I do. They are so fun and easy actions you can take to create the life you want.
Hello, gorgeous souls. Welcome back to the Beauty and Positivity Podcast. My name is Alyssa Skinner. Before we get into today's episode, if you loved my episode series all about money, I created a workshop called Money Babe Academy, linked in my bio, where you learn how to embody becoming a wealthy person, where you learn how to regulate your nervous system and make you feel safe in attracting money. Because maybe you're not attracting money because your nervous system isn't letting you. There's no way to know until we dig deep. So I do help you get in and figure out what's going on. Oh my gosh, I did the work first and was like, holy, I did not even know that was in there. And I've been doing this work for years. So you girls know how much I read books, how much research I do on my own. I complete courses and workshops by myself that are much more expensive than the ones I've created for you because I am in a financial position now to invest into that knowledge from higher bigger coaches. And I've worked years to get to that position. So I know what it's like to not quite have the funds for these courses and workshops. So that's why I love doing this podcast. This is my free outlet for everyone to better their life and become the best version of themselves. And yes, building courses takes me months and months to build. So of course there's an energy exchange. I wish I could live for free in America, but I can't. So I do lots of work for free, such as the podcast and in the salon, etc. I do everything I can, but you can find all my courses in my social media bio at all times. So today's episode, kind of short and sweet, but I'm gonna share some practices with you. We love practices, they are so fun, they are tangible, they are actions we can take that make us feel motivated and like we're actually changing our life and our identity. So I am not into super witchy rituals, okay? I'm not against them whatsoever. I just don't do them. I'm not like that's not my thing all the time. However, there are some practices I do like to do around the house that I'm gonna share with you today, and these things actually work for me. It's kind of crazy that yeah, I'm just giving all this away. So take advantage of today's episode. Okay, first one, probably arguably the biggest one. I affirm that I would quantum leap, I will timeline jump, whatever you want to call it, each time I get in the shower. I also do it in another place. So I'll sh we'll talk about the shower first. Of course, I turn the shower on and I affirm to myself, as I step into the shower, I will be washing away old triggers, traumas, beliefs, anything holding me back from the life that I desire to live here on earth. When I step out of the shower, I will have stepped into my new identity who believes this, this, and this, who experiences this, this, and this, who has this life. You say exactly what timeline you were jumping into and what you're leaving behind. As you shower, you imagine washing everything away. I feel that way already. I don't even have to think about that in the shower. I love a shower at night. It makes me feel like I'm washing the whole day off. I cannot shower in the morning. So as you shower, you can do this in the morning if you're a morning shower person, of course. I'm just sharing. For me, nighttime, I am much more connected spiritually. My conscious is in theta wavelength. So I have heard someone else do this and they continue the work when they get out of the shower. I don't do that. Um, when they step out of the shower, they affirm again I've stepped into this timeline, blah blah blah. I personally don't do that. I you can if that resonates with you, but I've already affirmed that I would be before getting in the shower that I'm going to be timeline jumping when I finish my shower. So I don't want to affirm it again when I get out. To me, I feel like that's trying too hard, it's pushing too hard, it's creating too much attachment. And I feel like that can create a block. So just saying it once and then showering and just forgetting, forgetting that you did it and leave it alone, I think that's best. Um, because it is important to have a detachment. So everyone manifests a little differently. Do what's right for you. If you want to affirm it twice, then do that. I also, the other place I do this is in bed. So when I lay in bed, I affirm to myself, I'm gonna go to sleep and wake up in a new timeline where X, Y, and Z is true for me. And I visualize those things and I end up falling asleep. And I wake up and I pretty much forgot that I did that and I just lived my life. If you do remember that you did it, um, you can wake up and smile and say, I've woken up in the best timeline. So both are right, you know, whatever feels right for you, make it your own. I always encourage to put your own twist on things. Um, in my per in my opinion, it's actually better when you do forget because of the no attachment thing. Um, you just are a little more neutral, you're no longer expecting the result to be there. The more we expect the result to be there, it depends on the energy you're in. If you're like, oh, I hope, I hope it worked, that's that's hopeful energy. That's not declaring, that's not this is done, right? So forgetting kind of just leaves the energy of like it's done. But if I do remember, I wake up, I smile, and I say, I woke up in the best timeline ever. Um, you can do this at nighttime because you can shape your life each night and visualize the things that you want to experience. At nighttime is better because your brain is slowing down, you are not having all these things in your mind. I do explain a little bit more of this in my courses, so that's what we'll start with here on the podcast. Okay, another small practice. I do this around the house, it's kind of funny, but before I blow out any candle, I speak something into existence out loud, and then I blow it out. I imagine that me blowing out the candle just solidified it to be true. It can be anything. It can be small, it can be my identity, it can be something I have, something I do, something I'm going to experience. Absolutely anything. The action of blowing out the candle is like a stamp. It's done. So the last practice I do kind of goes hand in hand with the first one, but I do wake up every morning and smile and say, I woke up in the best timeline. Now, I don't always do the first one and this one, but okay, I'll explain why this is its own number. You know, I would have said there were two practices, but I said there was three because this one is a little different. So I do wake up and I affirm that I have woken up in the best timeline. Basically, every single morning. I smile at the sun, I do it, and I just start to feel good. This is a great way to start my day. So this is why it's its own practice. Dr. Joe Dispenza talks about how we wake up every single morning thinking the same thoughts we thought yesterday. We wake up and we affirm what our life is because of what it was yesterday and the day before that, so naturally it's gonna be the same today. No, we are trying to change our life, right? You can't wake up in the morning and remember your whole life before you. I mean, it's not gonna absorb you very much. You definitely want to wake up and expect something new. You want to embody something new, you want to expect something new. Even if the things on your schedule are the same as yesterday, take a new route to work or expect something different to happen today. Expect a new blessing to come in, expect a surprise. This is a way to break the pattern in yourself. When I wake up, I remember who I am and what my life is and what my day is gonna look like, but I kind of break up that pattern by saying something is gonna happen today. Something's gonna be so fun, so great, it's gonna be magical, and I just smile and I stretch and I just enjoy it. I get excited for the surprise. I expect a surprise. I expect new fun things to happen that day. And my day doesn't need to be exactly what it was yesterday. I don't want to be who I was yesterday, right? I want to be better, I want to have more, I want to be more, I want to give more. So, other people in my life don't need to be who they were yesterday either. Go listen to my episode recreating a character in your life. Every single morning is a new timeline. We do not take advantage of that enough. It is literally a new episode of your movie every single time you wake up. You get to decide what plot twist is coming in in today's episode. Think about that one. That's why it's its own practice because it has a totally different energy. So I hope you loved those practices. I do them daily, not every single one, but at least one of them. I do them daily, and I like to go back and forth between them. I am constantly exercising my brain to expect the things that I want. So let me know in the comments if you try this. All of this is identity work, and this is what my courses are for. We go so deep into the identity and how to embody it, but I only have the two courses. I definitely, you know, don't think it needs to go much further than that. I have one about money and one about your dream life. So let me know if there's anything you want me to do a podcast episode on. I love coming on here and just spewing out all the information in my brain. Um, this information acts absolutely changed my life, by the way. So please let me know all the beautiful miracles that happen in your life because it lights me up, it makes me so excited, and it keeps me going. I am sending you so much love and success. Bye.
