why you should trust your desire is coming

Hello and welcome back to the Beauty and Positivity Podcast. My name is Alyssa Skinner. I'm so glad to be back again. I feel like I've shared this before, but I only post episodes when my creativity is flowing, when I have something really good to share, when my throat chakras wide open. So I do have a couple episodes coming for you. It is finally flowing, so I am back. I recently traveled and I went home to San Diego for two weeks. It was so nice and it was so needed, but when I was on the plane, I wrote this episode. So I want to give you a metaphor for trusting the process of your desires manifesting. So while you're in this waiting period, you're waiting for your desires to physically manifest and become your reality. It can be difficult to try not to control the situation, to try not to control the outcome, your external circumstances, because you are trying to force the manifestation. Whenever you feel doubt creeping in and you start trying to control everything outside of you, or maybe when you're feeling doubt and you start asking again, you start trying to manifest the same thing again as if your first request wasn't heard or granted. What is happening when you do that? When you try to control everything, it's just your response to feeling doubt. But it can actually push away your manifestations and prolong that waiting period for a couple of reasons, but I want to compare it to this. Imagine you are on an airplane. I was sitting there thinking this when I was flying. You're on an airplane and you start asking the flight attendant, excuse me, does the pilot know if he's flying the right direction? Is he going the right speed? How long is this flight even going to be? Are we even at the right altitude? Does he even know that I want to go to San Diego? Is that where he's taking me? Sounds crazy, right? You would exhaust yourself trying to control the outside circumstances, trying to control the pilot and the flight and the people around you, asking questions if it's actually happening. Am I actually going to San Diego? That is exactly what you're doing with your manifestations. The pilot knows exactly how fast to go, what altitude to remain. He knows his flight path. He is studying the earth below him. He is staying in contact with flight control. You know nothing about what he's doing and how he's doing it or how to get there, right? Your job is to trust that you are going to arrive. It is no different with the universe. You have requested from the universe either a destination, an experience, or a matter material thing. It is your job to have faith. It is only your job to have faith and to trust that when you ask, it is given. Stop constantly wondering if it was heard. How far away is it? How much longer is it gonna be? Stop asking for it over and over again. Or here's another note. If you're a mom, you will know this feeling. I'm not, but I still know this feeling. You're on your way to Disneyland and your child in the backseat keeps going, how much longer? Are we almost there? Are we almost there? When are we gonna be there? You as a parent know more than your child knows. You understand the journey from point A to point B, from your house to Disneyland. You know you're gonna get there, right? But your child is just sitting there in the present moment, feeling, I don't have it, I'm not at Disneyland yet. I want it, I want to be there. They're excited. So the universe is your pilot. The universe is your parent. The universe knows exactly how to bring you your request. So just sit back and have a certainty, trust and know things couldn't there are things happening you could not possibly understand or even make sense of sometimes. Your job is to sit in the back seat, enjoy the ride, play a game on the way. Your job is to sit in the seat of the airplane, watch a movie, have a snack, have a drink, be in the present moment, be where your feet are. Now I want you to think of this as a balance of energy now. So when you request something from the universe, the universe will respond with an equal reaction. You send one signal of energy, the universe sends one signal of energy back. You send two signals of energy, the universe sends two signals of energy back. So when you constantly request for the same thing over and over and over again, you have now sent three requests to the universe. So now the universe has to stop what it's doing, slow down, listen to your other three requests as it was trying to work on your first request, because the universe works in checks and balances. Now, it has to go view all those requests when it could have just focused on the one. It could have just moved and shifted things around in your life, focused on the one request. So what I mean by that is imagine your request, your signal of energy to the universe is an email. You send one email, this is what I want, please make it happen, please bring this to me. And the universe has one email to read. So it reads the one email, boom, it is done much quicker. But when you start doubting that the universe didn't get your email or they didn't open it yet, so then you send 10 more emails, and then you send 15 more emails, and you're asking over and over again, please can I have this thing? The universe now has to go through 15 emails, it has to take all that time balancing out your signals of energy. It is doing its checks and balances. You can imagine how long that takes. So that is the balance between you and the universe. You send one signal, the universe sends one signal. You send 15, it sends 15 back. Guess what the universe is balancing out those other 15 signals with? Obstacles. It is literally balancing out your 10 to 15 requests with something else because everything has an equal, balanced reaction. So imagine you are requesting your soulmate. I want to find the love of my life, I want my person, please send me my soulmate. And you ask 15 times. The universe is not going to send you 15 soulmates, it can send you one. So the other 14 requests are going to be balanced with a detour, right? So when you are manifesting something, the only time you should be repeating your manifestation is if you are doing affirmations or visualizing it. You can do those over and over and over and over again. The reason being you can repeat these things because it's a practice within yourself. You are getting your body familiar with feeling what it feels like to have that thing when you are visualizing it. You are training your brain to believe the affirmation, you are repeating it to yourself. Do you see how it's different? These two things are actions within yourself. You are getting your brain and your body normalized to this thing you desire. Let's say you want to make $10,000 a month, but you're only at $2,000, and you can't just believe you're gonna make $10,000 a month when you pray one time, right? Maybe you could. That's powerful if you can. But a lot of times a lot of people can't, right? They have all this doubt of, well, how though? How would I just jump from two to ten, right? So you are training your brain and body. I make 10k a month, I make 10k a month, and then you're visualizing, making 10k a month, you're telling your mom, I finally hit my first 10k month. You're training yourself, your brain, your body. This is an action between you and you. So you can do those things over and over and over again. Those are the differences between receiving your manifestation from the universe, requesting it, and being here where your feet are, feeling what it feels like to have it, and getting used to that feeling.
