00:05:57.279 --> 00:06:09.279 And I won't take a lot of time on this, but we talked about it last week, how a lot of people just uh come with the idea that God kind of hung Job out to drive, dry, and just dangled him out there in front of the devil. 00:06:09.360 --> 00:06:11.439 Look, look here at Job, how wonderful he is. 00:06:11.600 --> 00:06:12.800 It's not what he did. 00:06:12.959 --> 00:06:13.439 All right. 00:06:13.600 --> 00:06:17.279 The the Hebrew says, Why are you beholding Job? 00:06:17.600 --> 00:06:22.959 And then he goes into explaining why he said, Why? 00:06:23.360 --> 00:06:37.120 He said, There's none like him in the earth, a perfect and upright man, one that fears God and eschews evil, and he holds fast his integrity, though you moved me against him to destroy him without cause. 00:06:37.360 --> 00:06:37.759 Right? 00:07:49.199 --> 00:07:50.480 Now he didn't want this. 00:07:50.639 --> 00:07:53.519 We know he didn't want it because he didn't have any part of it. 00:07:54.480 --> 00:07:56.000 God didn't have any part of this. 00:07:56.560 --> 00:07:59.279 He had no part in making Job sick. 00:07:59.839 --> 00:08:02.480 So Satan, now look at verse 7. 00:08:02.800 --> 00:08:04.160 So Satan. 00:08:05.920 --> 00:08:07.759 Now you gotta say that out loud. 00:08:07.920 --> 00:08:08.800 Say, Satan. 00:08:09.360 --> 00:08:17.439 See, Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot to his crown. 00:08:18.240 --> 00:08:18.879 Wow. 00:08:19.680 --> 00:08:26.319 One translation says Satan left the Lord's presence and infected Job with terrible boils. 00:08:26.720 --> 00:08:32.799 Another says, thus the devil went out from the Lord and struck Job with malignant sores. 00:08:33.759 --> 00:08:41.360 Still another says, so Satan left and caused Job to have very painful skin all over his body. 00:08:50.559 --> 00:08:51.519 The devil. 00:08:51.919 --> 00:08:52.559 Satan. 00:08:52.720 --> 00:08:53.679 Is that right?
