When police in New Lenox, Illinois, began investigating a man suspected of downloading child sexual abuse material, their search led them to Timothy Mol—and eventually to his home.

But investigators didn’t arrive alone.

With them was Boone, a three-year-old Labrador with the Cook County Sheriff’s Office and a nose trained to find the things people don’t want found.

What Boone discovered that day would take the investigation in an unexpected direction.

Trust the Dog.
