What's good though, man?
SPEAKER_01Nothing, man. I I just wanna everything's been good so far. Um, I mean, it's only Monday, but I always figure out, I always feel like I think this is gonna be a good week. It's gonna be nice out. Um, day life saving times is hit. And um I know people were saying that they were off and stuff like that, but it's whatever. I don't get much sleep regardless. So I don't think the day, the day life saving times mess me up even even more or less. You know what I mean? It's just like it's like whatever, man. Um just trying to work on my health mentally and physically, and uh everything is good money. What about you?
SPEAKER_03Uh everything is good, man. I'm I'm so I I say we could start off, I'll start off just straight up off my rant. I am 100 yo, son, you know what? I'm gonna say fuck it. I'll I'm gonna say it. You know what? And I gotta stick with the guns. That's why I don't want to say it, because I gotta stick with the guns if I say it. But I say it uh yo, I quit, man. I quit. I quit. I fucking quit, bro. Like, I can't, um it's too, I think I'm just at the point now where uh it's just more so my environment that I, you know, I don't want to use the old school where it's like, you know, you outgrow your environment or whatever, but it's like um that's how I feel. You know what I'm saying? Like there's times when I want to have like a conversation and just be like, what? Like, am I am I bugging? You get what I'm saying? And then it's like either either people don't say you bugging, so I then I then I feel like I am bugging and people just don't want to tell me, which could be the obvious, right? Or it's like maybe they just don't want to state whatever is the obvious, because it's like, yo, this is the situations we live in, whatever. So um, to make it more specific, and this that didn't happen in this situation necessarily, just in general. I don't want to even talk about the one thing that I uh will talk about, but um the kind of like carry on top was this lady today, right? So she's uh yo, bro, like it's the easiest way to explain it is miscommunication and emotional intelligence, where you feel that you so she wanted two haircuts blended into one. And I was trying to explain that, you know, two haircuts blended into one, you either have to get one or the other, because then I'm at the point where, you know, I could kind of do that, but if I do it, you have to show me an example. She showed me an example, but the example that she showed me, she was showing me, like, this is kind of how I wanted it done, but he messed up what I wanted done. So I'm like, all right, well, I'm gonna do a better job with the fading or whatever. It's just a matter of how much am I fading. Like, am I just fading just in this area where it's like just the taper, or am I fading like all the way around where it's like a fade? You get what I mean? And um, I tried to give like an example, even we showed the pictures on the on a wall. And I get, you know, she kept saying, she was like, you know, I'm a um, I'm a female. I don't know, I don't know. And and at first when she was saying I'm a female, you know, it was um both of us, we was joking about it. I was like, I'm uh it doesn't matter if you're a female or you're not. I'm just trying to figure out exactly what you want done. I would rather have you show me a specific picture, like, yes, that's the final product, opposed to you say, Yeah, I want it like this, but then do this, do this, do this, because you have an idea in your head of what you want me to do. And if I don't do it the right way and I cut off too much hair, I can't put that hair back on. And then if I don't cut off enough hair, then I'm gonna be doing an additional cut. Like, you know, it's like an a la carte cut at that point. And it's like, you know, appointments coming in, I gotta leave, whatever. So I thought we was understanding, I thought we was on the same page. And once I got done with the haircut, I did uh a high, you know, uh taper in the sides and the back, and she said that he was growing his hair out. So I wanted to leave as much hair as possible, just in case that if I cut off too much hair, then it would be like, I told you I was growing his dreads. You get what I'm saying? So it's like I cut off a little bit of hair, it's clean, edge up is done. How are we looking? Now at this point, you could just be like, I want you to cut off more hair. That's not what I wanted. Look, this, and you know, cut off a little bit right here, a little bit right here, and then we'll just figure it out. But everything else is crispy. But the way she came at it was like, oh no, this ain't what I wanted, blah, blah, blah. So then it was like, what do you want me to do? You get what I'm saying? I was I was just confused at the point of like, what do you want me to do? And then she started getting more upset because she couldn't explain what she wanted to be explained. And then she started walking to everybody else in the shop asking them, like, you see what I'm talking about, you see what I'm saying? Like, making a scene where I'm I'm not even making a scene, right? So now the people are turning around and they're looking at, like, obviously, if she's making a scene, there's other people that's not seeing it, that's they turn around to look like, damn, this nigga must have fucked some shit up. Son crispy though. Bing Bao, high taper, all of that. So now people are trying to explain to her the same thing I explained. You can only give one thing. You can't get the both. The most you could do is have him maybe sculpt it a little bit more, or just say, no, I wanna say. I just I gave her money back. I don't even want your money. I did the haircut, but you do not have to come to this barbershop or at least not get a haircut from me anymore. You get what I mean? But it's stuff like that that I will admit, like in the beginning of the day, for that to be my first haircut and for you to go about it the way you went about it, understanding if you had something else that you was doing during the day and you was frustrated, you know, and maybe that was the straw that broke your camel's back, right? Or the cherry on top for your day, whatever the case may be. I would still assume that most people, communication-wise, once you understand that that energy is not coming towards you, you're not gonna give that energy back. Correct. A lot of people in other environments, you get what I'm saying, that doesn't necessarily happen. A lot of times people will just be like, you know what? Obviously, I see you did a good job. You get what I'm saying? But that's just not what I wanted. I have to go right now. We'll be back another time. It's cool. You know what I mean? Or of course. You know, even if it is like, you know, I really need that money. I I need that money, you know, something has to be done or at least finished, because you already sent it to me. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_02So it's like, mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_03I just don't know, bro. And that happens so much. And like I said, there was something else that happened today um that was a little bit worse. That was um, it wasn't even, it wasn't towards me or nothing, but it was like, you know, when you're in an urban environment and someone wants to show that they're a real soldier, right? Or you know what I mean? Like whatever, flash or do. And then it's like, this is what we yo, bro, like I just can't, man. I just can't, bro. Today was like that no more. Yeah, I gotta, I gotta figure it out, bro.
SPEAKER_02That's it. Alright, man. Um is the customer always right?
SPEAKER_01No. Okay. I was always taught that, but I got you. I'm not saying you're wrong.
SPEAKER_03I'm not saying you're wrong, but so I'll explain, right? Um is the customer always right? And the reason why I immediately said no is because we live in a world where somebody could come into a restaurant and do some funny shit that they already had intentions of doing before they came into the restaurant. And just because of that policy, they can always leave with the full belly and a refund. I don't, I don't I mean, I don't necessarily believe the customer is always right. But as far as like how I handled the situation, hell yeah, the customer's always right. You get what I'm saying? I gave her her money back. You get what I mean? I gave her, it's not like I was like, nah, you can't get this money back and argued with her the whole time. I gave her her money back. Immediately, as soon as she tried to flip it on me and tried to do the fucking uno reverse, like, oh, you just trying to what'd she say? She said, um, oh you she was like, no, I know what the fuck I wanted. You just trying to go back and forth. So I'm like, what? Like, I'm not trying to go back and forth with you. I'm trying to explain to you the difference between a taper and a fade, but you won't listen because you're being combative. You know what I'm saying? Like, what yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02You're right. I got you. That's all. All right.
SPEAKER_01Um my rant is not gonna be as long, and and I just want to make a rant, and this will go. I have a rant towards Lyft and Uber. Mainly Uber, not Lyft, because I don't I don't, I mean, mainly Lyft, not Uber, because I don't um I don't use Uber. Um and this is for car service. This might be for New York taxes in general. People, Lyft needs to stop employing people's abuelas and abuelos. And what I mean by that is I don't know how many times I get into a Lyft, and the driver is a senior citizen Latino. It drives me crazy. Not because they're Latino, it's because they're old. I never see an older white guy driving, I never see an older black guy driving. It's always an older Latino man, whether I don't care where he's from. And my issue with that is when you get a certain age, your motor skills decline. And when you're in New York City and you have a 75-year-old Lyft driver in the city driving that should not go well. And the reflexes, all that. And once again, I've gotten to my places safely, but I've always had this thought in my back of my mind, it's like, if that was my 75-year-old father, my father's 70, if that was him driving a lift, I would tell him to stop. Because he doesn't need to be on the road picking up patches. Now, if you're going from point A to point B, or if you're running quick errands around a block from your house or a mile or two, I get it. But if you driving, what's the word? Trans boroughs or whatever the case is, and you in your 70s, Lyft should not be employing these people. That's all I'm saying. That's what I and that's all. It bothers me to high heaven when I get into a car and my driver is in his 70s and he's a Spanish man. And the Spanish man is the last part of it. But the reason why I say Spanish man or Latino, because nine times out of ten, it is a Latino driver. It's not a black lift driver, it's not a white driver, it's not even an older female driver, it's an older Latino man, and that drives me crazy. That's all I'm saying.
SPEAKER_03Are you are you sure that like I do you think because a lot of, and I I know you be in all the boroughs, right? But do you think that a lot of times that it's because it's Spanish men that are in that vicinity of when you call for an Uber, that that's why you you're nine times out of ten getting an older Spanish guy because he's like, oh, okay, I'm dropping him off from Spanish Harlem, or okay, I'm picking him up from Spanish Harlem.
SPEAKER_01Nah, I don't even, I don't even think it's a Spanish Highland. I just feel like there's several things to that. I just feel, number one, that I don't know about other big cities, but I feel like in New York City in general, people do not stop working, right? Uh we talked about this proximity thing. If you live in Florida in your 70s, you ain't trying to go to work. And if you are working, it's not hard labor. I feel like in New York City in particular, you get in your 70s, you still working, right? Whether it's because you you're 401k, or just mentally. You just like, I'm not ready to stop working. Number two, I also see a lot of older, I could be wrong, a lot of older Spanish people still do that manual labor because sometimes that's all they know, right? So I don't see an older black guy, an older black guy is not gonna be uh a lift driver. If he's gonna work, he's probably maybe somewhere in security, right? Or he might be a bus driver. And still you'd be like, oh, hell no. But he might be a bus driver, or he may work for the MTA, but in the garage part, right? If it's an older white guy in the 70s or 80s, chances are he's a restaurant owner, right? Like, or or like his kids own a restaurant, he's like the Matre D. You understand what I'm saying? Um, but the Latino male, like he's either he might be a lift driver or he may be a super. Listen, my super just had open heart search. I told you this. He's probably late 70s, early 80s, and he becoming the work. I'm like, bro, you like you a super. But once again, I feel like that's that Latino thing, right? Like it's I'm gonna work, work, work. Same with black men. We're gonna hustle, we're gonna hustle, we're gonna hustle, we're gonna keep hustling. But we ain't gonna be mid-70s being taxi cab drivers. We'll probably be, I don't know, like you said, we may own a store, right? And maybe in the front, walk, walking the table, table, say, how was your it was good? Okay, and you're the owner of the store, right? Yeah, we're not gonna be cab drivers. Do you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03So I'm glad, I'm glad this is, this is, I feel this is a good, good, great segue to some promotion, real quick, right? So, bro, that's what it's like because it really is a great segue to what I was just talking about. I'm like, yo, bro, I'm I'm not about to keep doing this shit. Because this nigga's that's in barbering, like, you know, we're not gonna say names. You know people, I know people. You get what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That there's a mindset about you where it's like this is just the way it is. And you don't you don't necessarily know how it's gonna be in the future, but sure it's an uncertainty opposed to you know what has happened in the past. So you're trying, so you know, you're you're trying to be like, all right, I'm gonna figure stuff out. It's like speaking for myself, like I was born 85. By the time, like we were talking about it, 89, the FICO score. I don't know nothing about it, but then it's in like the 2003 when I'm like 18, and then five years later, 2008, when I got damn near all of my kids, it's a financial crisis. So I immediately reverted to being like, okay, I'm I me trying to chase this be a rapper thing ain't working. I only thing I know now is sales, because all I did was sell a little bit of bud back in here, and then I had a little sales program, but so then I go into doing sales and staying off the grid, so I don't pay child support and a whole bunch of run-in shit. But anyway, we get to the point where it's like we figure it's the old way of working. You get what I'm saying? And it's like things are changing, man. And if people really like just like how a lot of people work from home remotely and make a good amount of money, and then they they uh figure out how to do like side jobs. Hold on one second.
SPEAKER_01I'm still here too. Yeah, yeah, no, I'm here. I'm just I'm doing something too, but I don't know.
SPEAKER_02But yeah.
SPEAKER_03But fucking, um, like it's just it's random stuff that we did from back in the day. Like, you know, it's not gonna be um like coal miners aren't gonna be around it a little bit. You get what I'm saying? Um it's a lot of things that were like old school, even like shit, just working in like mechanics, like being a mechanic and knowing how to work on a car. Yeah, you're still gonna be able to work the people gonna be helping you out and stuff like that, but unfortunately, it's about to be a whole bunch of robots coming in that are gonna do the job that you may not necessarily be able to do. So you don't have to get worried and be like, oh, they're gonna take figure out how to how to service the robots. You get what I'm saying? Or figure out how to use the systems that um maybe uh keep the robots working, so then you can still be able to have a job or whatever the case may be. You know what I mean? And then, you know, like when it's coming to shit like this, bro, like I admit that um, like those older guys, they shouldn't necessarily have to work like that, but I think they work like that because that's all they know. And if they, you know, like like and especially for them, they're in their mind, bro, they're thinking a side hustle, extra money, and this is some futuristic shit. Like they feel like back in the day, you had well, what was the thing you had to get to be a taxi driver? Like you had to get like a silver star. Well, you know, it's like a I don't know. I throw it. It's like it's just like this, but whatever, like it's like a certificate, but I think it was like some type of I don't know, maybe I'm just thinking of this movie, but you know, you had to have some type of a certificate or whatever. Now all you gotta do is have a driver's license. Just have a good driver's license, and you can make some money on the side. So who are who are we to tell them that they can't drive if the state that they live in saying that they're, you know, they're um they're uh they're okay to drive. But I I do agree with you. Well, they're old like that, their motor functions and reflexes and uh, you know, you just should you just shouldn't be doing it. But unfortunately, they come from that that that baby boomer era, man. I know, man.
SPEAKER_01I know, bro. I know. Um, I know. I just, you know, it's just me worrying about just, and I don't worry, I just want to make sure that um I'm good. Like right now, I'm in a job right now that um it's not high maintenance, and that's a plus for me. Um I'm very rarely stressed, and that's a plus. So yeah. But but um other than that, um, so yeah, let's let's let's I did some homework and we don't have to go through uh so so my my thing is we're gonna do this, right? We're gonna do the we're gonna did you put any black actors down or no? Or no? I'm I'm shooting off the top of the dome. All right, so that's fine. No, no, no, no, no. So so this is what we're gonna do. We're gonna we're gonna have the focus on me, and we debate, and we debate where we put them at. The next week, you come up with something else, uh S A tear thing. Um and me and you can debate that. Does that make sense? So so my topic is the black actors. Next week you may want to choose, I don't know. Top five, I don't know, car brands, or whatever. Whatever you want to do, not top five, but whatever you want to do, we can do that. Does that make sense? Yep. Perfect. All right. So, you know, my number one, not number one ranking, not number one ranking, my first actor that I decided to come up with obviously was Denzel Washington.
SPEAKER_03What about him?
SPEAKER_01Huh?
SPEAKER_03I said, what about him?
SPEAKER_01So me, I'm going to say he is an S tier actor. My quick thing is, maybe a minute. The reason why he's an S t the reason why for me he's an S tier actor is because now once again, when you edit this, you can do the picture of the person and you put whatever. He's an S-tier actor. I am I admit that he doesn't have the range of some of the other people on this list. But the movies that he's been in that he's done, he's excellent in.
SPEAKER_03Wait, how many, how many people do you have?
SPEAKER_01I have 10, but we don't have to go through all 10. No, no, it's random.
SPEAKER_03No, no, so this is what this is what I want, I want, I want you to do. I want to, I'll, because when I when I set up the graph, like you were saying, and I'll put it up, I'll I want you to do your list of actors, so then you will, so then you'll be able to. All right, so this is what we're gonna do. All right, so your list of actors, you give them to me. Don't give them to me, but like name them one by one. And then I'll I'll rank mine what I want, but I it doesn't matter. We're just gonna use that.
SPEAKER_01I got you. So you uh so you ready? I'm gonna give you one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. I have eleven.
SPEAKER_03That's fine. But listen, but so this the reason the only reason why I'm saying it because we could do this part, we could do this in like a little quick 30-second thing, but then you you explaining the reason why you completely disagree with me with all of them, right? That's what I that's that's what I'll be able to break up into like different ones.
SPEAKER_01All right. So you want me to give you the list?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, exactly. We just do one by one through one. And what's it it's what's the classes? It's S through I think it's S.
SPEAKER_01I think it's S then A, B, C, and D? And F? How's the tail?
SPEAKER_03I thought it was S through S. I think it's S through F. Hold on. Let me see.
SPEAKER_01No, I think it's S I should go. I should have gone on YouTube and I'm about to do it right now. No, yeah, it's S, it's S, A, B, C, D, and F. Yeah, it goes all the way to F. Yeah, but after D is F, so it's a grade. So basically S is superior, then it's A, B, C, D, and F.
SPEAKER_03No, I got A, B, C, D, E, F. I don't know what I don't know what the E is. The E is just the E. It's just, it's just the class before F. But it doesn't matter. It's fine. It don't matter. Whatever.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I got you. Come on. So do so so you want me to go through, you want me to give you the names, the list first.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So we're just like the first one, Denzel. I put him. I'm and I'm not even gonna give my I'm not even gonna give my reason. I'm just giving my answer so we can do the graphics.
SPEAKER_01Sure. Okay. All right. Denzel number one. Number number two. Oh wait, hold on.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I gotta tell you, S.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03I got S2. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, A, A, my bad. A.
SPEAKER_01I'll put an A on your side. Okay. All right. Samuel Jackson, I put S. S, yes.
SPEAKER_03That's why they separated.
SPEAKER_01So I I so when I say the name, I I don't, when I say the name, my tier ranking is coming right off the cuff. These names are already down already.
SPEAKER_03That's yeah, but that's oh, like you're already they're already labeled in order.
SPEAKER_01That's what you're saying? No, no, not at all. So when I give you the when I say you who it is, I'm already I d I'm just thinking what tier they are. I don't pre-dinked.
SPEAKER_03Tell me, just let me name it. Just let me name it. And then you tell me yours later.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Aldus, you know, the next, this is all random. Aldus Hodge. You know who Aldous Hodge is. Who the fuck is Aldous Hodge? Okay, hold on. Because I don't believe this one. Hold on. Aldus Hodge is um my man from um um uh Oh, hell nah, hell nah. That makes sense. I'm just random. Listen, it was just random. Listen to what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_03Okay, uh Aldus Hodge. Okay, um he's uh D. D. Okay. What is it? D. I'll go C. No, I you don't, you don't tell me yours. I'm telling you mine. Okay, okay. And then then then after you tell me yours. I'm just raking.
SPEAKER_01Go bet you. Okay. All right, you're right. Um, but I'm gonna write it down so I remember what I gave that person. All right. Next next actor is Damson Idris. You know who that is.
SPEAKER_02Uh I give him a C. Okay. Gotcha.
SPEAKER_01The next person, Idris Elba.
SPEAKER_03Idris Elba. Why do you got all these dark-skinned niggas? Uh I don't know. They just ran. They just ran. I'll give him a um.
SPEAKER_02I'll give him an A. I ain't gonna go front. I'll give him an A. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Okay. I didn't realize they were all dark skinned, but I'm just they just I don't know though. Uh there any light skin? Okay, duh. Um Method Man.
SPEAKER_03Uh he gets kind of cringy sometimes. I give him a D. I give him a D. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_01When you so I just want to let you know, when you're thinking of the tier, I'm writing the tear down on my what I think. I'm not even so okay, gotcha. Before you even respond, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um Michael B. Jordan C. Yaya Abdul Martin.
SPEAKER_01You know who that is. What the fuck? That is that, bro. That is um the guy, he's in the Disney thing now. Um he is uh the nigga from Moon?
SPEAKER_03Yes. Wait, hold on. Oh, old oh, oh, oh, uh he alright. That he was in um ambulance, right? He alright. Uh that's Candyman, wasn't it? Yeah, he was the Candyman remake. Yeah, I give him a he still I give him a D. He I got Seymour. Okay.
SPEAKER_01I don't know why I put him up here. Michael Rainey Jr.
SPEAKER_03Michael Rainey Jr. Who is that?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's that's that's the nigga from power.
SPEAKER_03The the young one?
SPEAKER_01The little kid, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Uh he's only well, okay. I thought we were.
SPEAKER_01But he he being shit. He is a very good thing.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and he was in he was in love with um, he was in love with common. He did good in that. Um when he was younger, so I don't know. I I think he I think he has range. I I feel like um and I I'm not I'm not hating or nothing, but I I feel like he has range. Huh? But no, I feel like he has range, but I feel like he has to lose that very strong New York accent for him to um have more range. I feel like he like, and and um, it's nothing against it. You know what I'm saying? I get it, you know what I mean? But you it's hard for you to play a regular teen in different roles in California or something like that. You get what I mean? But um Yeah, he's a good actor though. Uh oh, but uh C. I get I I guess I give him a C because I I've seen his range.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_02And lastly, Will Smith. He's an S? He's an S.
SPEAKER_03I can't, he's an S, bro. I I really that like he up there with Samuel L. Jackson. His range is extraordinary.
SPEAKER_01Are you going on just range or you going range and talent? Oh, uh no, this ain't all for talent. And no, no, I'm just saying in general.
SPEAKER_03S in general. What all right, so what what what differentiates range and talent? Because I cut it.
SPEAKER_01It don't matter, whatever how you think. No, it's fine because we we this is the Denzel question, right? Like, I give him the S tier because I'm like, I get with you the range, but he's an excellent actor. You knock him down a notch because you see that he's excellent, but his range doesn't compute to someone else's, so you knock him down a notch. So I'm just it's just a it's not even range, it's just rating the actor in general. I like that. And to you, Russ Memphis, I can't even argue. Yeah. Come on, man. I'm older, you know what I mean? I got you.
SPEAKER_03I like how you flipped that. That was good. That was good. Okay, that's it.
SPEAKER_01That's it. So what's so what'd you rent for? Four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. So I had Denzel S. You had Denzel and A. I wrote them down. I had Samuel Jackson S, we both agreed. I had Aldus Hodge, a C, you had him a D. Right? You had Dams and Idris, a B. I had him a C no, you had him a C, I had him a D. We both agree Idris Elba was an A. Messen Man, you gave him a D. I actually gave him a C. I feel like with him, he's gotten better, but he, but he I just hope he's not typecaster in a lot of black movies. If he's typecasting in a lot of black movies, he's gonna be a D. Because he's always gonna get the same role. But if he expands, he'll be a C. What's okay.
SPEAKER_03But so I'm I'm measuring, I feel like you're hopeful for these people. And it's fine. There's nothing wrong with that. I'm not saying like they're gonna pass away tomorrow, but I'm saying in an aspect of like, I'm just ranking these people off of what they are. Because if that's the case, but that's what I'm saying. But if that's the but I know, but I'm saying like you're ranking like, like I feel like you're ranking Denzel off of the fact of him being talented, and he's so talented that we know that he possibly could pull something off. But he hasn't. So No, I understand that. But I didn't like the Method Man one. Oh, go ahead.
SPEAKER_01Well, Method Man, we only we only disagreed on the the letter. The letters are close. I gave him a C, you gave him a D. So I'm looking at it this this way. For me, I see Method Man as a C minus, you see Metheman as a D plus. What's the difference?
SPEAKER_02No, they're not they're that close.
SPEAKER_03No, I'm no, no. So I and I know they're they don't put pluses in there because you're trying to trick.
SPEAKER_01No, I'm not, but what I'm saying is we're not that far off on Metheman. We're really not that, we're gonna be more off on the the next person behind them.
SPEAKER_03So I and we could go to the next person, but to explain what I'm saying, I I get we're not that far off. I'm saying I feel that there's a you're giving them potential.
SPEAKER_01We're not talking about Method Man, and I'm let's let's go back. Method Man was the only one that I really gave potential on. But I do feel like Meth Man is a capable actor. He's an average actor. That greens out to a C. C is average. He is an average actor. I don't care. Forget the black, white, he's an average actor.
SPEAKER_03But what you said, but I'm not saying a black white, what you went off of was what you went off of was the fact of being like, if he keeps getting hood roles, he's getting hood roles. I think he hasn't he hasn't gotten any other roles, so we can't charge him off of the roles that he might possibly get.
SPEAKER_01Fine. I'm still with a C. That's all I'm saying. He's the only person I said that with. He's only a C. Because I feel like Method Man has been in movies where there were a lot more white people. I I think he is as cringy as fucking knows, bro. He And you said that. And you said that. You did say that. I'm not even disagreeing with you. Um we're gonna disagree on okay. So next one, Michael Bujoran. You gave him a C. I actually gave him an A. I did. I think he's a very good, I think he's a very good actor. Um you did. All right, I think.
SPEAKER_03You did, bro. I I f I yeah, yeah. Because I I I if anything, made it a B a B, but he's not no A, because he's not on the same level as Denzel.
SPEAKER_01I I know Denzel's an S for me. What do you mean? I'm like, I I mean, to me, he's not, of course he isn't. I never said he was.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_01Um Yahya Abdul Martin. I actually gave him a B. You gave him a D.
SPEAKER_03Why would you give him a B? For what?
SPEAKER_01Everything that I've seen him in, I've enjoyed. Like, I don't think he's a bad I hold on. I don't think he's a bad actor. Like, I mean, he was he's he was good in Wonderman, he was good in the Watchmen, um, he was good in the other joint. Like, I don't I don't see him as a bad actor. I think he's a B. I think he's slightly above average. He was in Aquaman, like it he wasn't, he wasn't bad. He was in Ambulance, he was in the Matrix Resurrections, he was good in Candyman.
SPEAKER_02Like, what are we talking about? Black Mirror. He's a B. He's above average. You gave him a D. That's all I'm saying. Ah.
SPEAKER_03I w I would argue my point, but I gotta wait until I'm done. Cause I am irritated. I am I am irritated. Why are you irritated?
SPEAKER_01Oh, I'm I'm irritated at your list. First of all. What is so, what's so wait, what they're not ranking one through ten. They're just random ten actors. There's nothing to be irritated by. I think your only irritation will come from nine out of ten are dark skin. No, because that no, because I know.
SPEAKER_03That that seems to bother you more than anything. It didn't bother me. It definitely was noticeable. But I will say this. There's, yo, bro, and and it's not no dark skin, because the two niggas that I got on my list are have, yo, I put both both of them are new in the game, up and coming. And we talked about both of them. And I feel like both of them niggas on S tier. And we haven't seen them in a lot of movies, but we have seen their ring.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so give me your, so let's let's finish my let's finish my list. And then you could go to your list, right? And then as you give me the list of the right. I'm doing my list right there. I'm doing my list right now. Michael Rainey Jr., you gave him a C, I gave him a D. Because we've seen him in more. He, yo, I'm not. Go ahead. That's your opinion. You gave him a C, I gave him a D. You're like, you're getting all hyped up over this. I'm like, it's just that simple. And Will Smith, Will Smith, you gave him S, I gave him an A.
SPEAKER_03Why? Like, what? Like, yo, bro.
SPEAKER_01I'm just it's the same, it's the same thing what you said with Methyman, right? I sometimes Will Smith overdoes it for me, for me. I don't know what I'm getting, right?
SPEAKER_03So for example, um You did this shit on purpose.
SPEAKER_01What did what why are you getting on the students? I don't get it. I like Will Smith, but sometimes I'm like, he's it's too much, bro. Like, that's for me, bro. For me, sometimes Will Smith be overdoing. You know how you say sometimes that um um this dude be cringy, Method Man. Sometimes for me, Will Smith overdoes it in his in his theatrics, right? I thought Pursuit of Happiness was excellent, but I felt like he was cheesy in Independence Day. He was excellent in I Am Legend, but he was over the top in bad boys. Like, that's all I'm saying. You know what I mean? So for me, he's an A. That's all. His range is phenomenal. We're not debating the range part. I'm just debating the level of over-cheesiness sometimes. Right? Wild Wild West was awful. Awful. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like he did his thing as the genie in Aladdin. But sometimes he was a little over the top in Aladdin. That's all. Damn. All right, go ahead. Should I, when you give me a list, should I write them down and then grade just so we can remember, or do you have a okay, go. So when I write it down, I'm gonna write it down and then I'm gonna give you my how I see them.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_01All right. Uh give me a second. Let's do it. All right. So my first. So are we good with my list?
SPEAKER_03It's not one through ten, but uh is what you say, save your list, which you can have it. I only person that I really respected on your list, bro, was uh Samuel Jackson. For real, for real.
SPEAKER_01Okay, but it wasn't uh it was just what we thought of them. I I don't rank them anywhere. That's all. All right, go ahead. All right, Lake Stanfield. Okay, Lakeith Stanfield. I'm gonna give Lakeith Stanfield an A.
SPEAKER_02Okay. RJ Siler. Hold on. RJ Styler.
SPEAKER_01Who the fuck is that?
SPEAKER_03From Book of Clarence. He he was the co the uh coach.
SPEAKER_01I should have known you was gonna come come with this thing. Hold on, hold on, hold on Let me let me let me let me let me hold on RJ Siler.
SPEAKER_02Yep. Hold on, RJ was last name. D Y L E R. RJ Siler. Why was he in? The heart of they fall.
SPEAKER_03I see the face, but I don't I don't he's in the heart of they fall, he's in a lot of movies.
SPEAKER_01RJ Siler. Let's go. Uh I'm a I he's a he's a little new so far. Give me, I'ma go beef. Next.
SPEAKER_03But so this is so this is where this is where I this is why I feel like there's this, and I you know what I mean. It's just um like we was just talking about with um. He was in war machine? Like the, I don't know if he was in it or not, but it was like uh it's parts where because like you like, oh, a person didn't have enough. Who was the one person that you had on your list that I'm like, yo, bro, we didn't even see him in enough stuff, but you like, yeah, he did good. I don't even know who it was, but it's Oh, I don't know who you're talking about. It's it's times like that where it's like just because a person like Denzel puts in a lot of time and does the same role over and over in different ways, in different fashions, and doesn't break from this role of a character. Like, okay, we get it, you're a strong person in America. And you say, Oh, I'm just saying, and then you give them, you give them a tenure where it's like, oh yeah, they they have like what you said, you was like enough experience that that's why you have them at an S. But my discrepancy or my misunderstanding is if what are we doing if we're talking about just time or whatever put in, because if that's the case, Will Smith should be in the S category too, because of the amount of work that he put in. You put him in an S tier.
SPEAKER_01You gave him an S tier.
SPEAKER_03No, you said you said he was A, but that's what I'm saying. I'm going to kill it. So that's what I'm saying. So then when you put somebody in an S tier like Samuel L. Jackson, and we know that he has range and tenure, that's where I feel is the separation between him and Denzel, where it's like, I'm misunderstanding how you're ranking your list. You get what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01I'm not even, so I'm I'm not even talking about tenure right now. I'm just talking about for me, when I see acting skills, I don't give a fuck if you've been in the game for 30 years or two years. If you nice, you nice.
SPEAKER_03All right, so if you nice, you nice. I just said that about him, but you was like, he, you, you have to see more. Or you got in that you give me a man? When I just said Ryan Siler or even fucking Lakeith Stanfield. Lake Stanfield, you put him at an A. He has more range than Denzel, bro.
SPEAKER_01Okay, that's an A for me, though. I I don't look, I'm not even just thinking about range. Like you, you like He's not an S tier actor yet. That's all I'm saying. He's nice, but he's an A for me. That's all. Okay. I ain't. I'm not mad at that.
SPEAKER_03What makes Denzel such an S? This is what I'm saying. I'm trying to listen, could you not?
SPEAKER_01You are thinking too hard on this, bro. No, I'm really mad. I always think that's a good thing. So for me, for me personally, range or not, let's let's stop with the range stuff. When he's in a movie and he's on his game, he's firing it. Whether it's Clyde Drexler not having a left hand and he only has a right hand and he only dunks right-handed, when he goes right and dunks, he's a Hall of Famer. That's all I'm saying. Forget the ring, forget all that. I'm for me, when you see Denzel in a movie, whether it's Equalizer, Training Day, Man on Fire, Fucking Glory, uh, goddamn uh uh um Malcolm X, when he's when he's that lead dog, except for that spikely shit, but people love that because they felt that he acted his ass off. And I hated that movie. Highest or lowest.
SPEAKER_03That's what I'm saying. He has a lot of hit or misses.
SPEAKER_01Fine, but for me, when he's that that lead actor, and whatever the whether whether it's the same role or not, he's fine for me. That's all I'm saying. That's all I'm saying. No, I get it, and that's why that's why it's nothing you can do about it.
SPEAKER_03Once you say for me, it's a personal opinion thing.
SPEAKER_01You can't you're going by range, right? So when you're describing a basketball player, when you're describing a basketball player, we can go to the whole LeBron, Michael Jordan thing, right? Yes, thank God. You would be like, you, you would, you, someone could use that range against you, right? Because they're you'd be like, LeBron is the greatest player of all time. And they could be like, oh, really? So when the game is on the line and he has to shoot a free throw, chances are he's gonna miss that shit, right? Because he's not a great free throw shooter. So that's not range, right? Chances are when there's a big powerful game coming up, chances are he's gonna take, he's gonna take some some plays off on defense because LeBron has done that before, right? Chances are that LeBron will he may throw one of his teammates on the bus, or he may literally quit on the court when he's getting blown out. LeBron has done that before. That's range, but that doesn't take away the fact that he's excellent at what he does. That's all I'm saying. So when we talk about No.
SPEAKER_03Okay, I just need to respond because you you you're gonna there's there's there's no there's no um so first off, whether you like Denzel or not, that's not my argument that I'm trying to stop your opinion of how you like Denzel.
SPEAKER_01We we only got to number two of your list, which is crazy, but go ahead.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because you didn't let me finish. You always you don't let me get my point off what I'm saying about Denzel ever. Just like you never let me get my point off of what I'm saying about LeBron and Michael ever.
SPEAKER_01Get your point off about Denzel. Go ahead. I'm waiting. I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna interrupt you. Go ahead. I promise.
SPEAKER_03Unfortunately, every single time LeBron or Michael Jordan or Denzel or whoever somebody like that's your personal opinion, how you feel about them, when someone disagrees with that, it's always gonna be like, you know, combative or whatever, right? Not saying like we're arguing or anything, but you know, it's like, no, my opinion is my opinion. I'm not trying to change your opinion. I'm trying to understand where your opinion lies from. And if your if your opinion lies from the place of, I just don't care, no matter what that person does, they're gonna be great, then I cannot argue your argument at all. That's not that I can't, it's impossible, right? So then if I could go further than that and then be like, okay, well, I get that that's your favorite person because say, like, we could take it away from Diselle if we talk about like Jordan. If you're talking about Jordan, it's like, nah, because of what he did and how he did it and the fashion that he did, right? And then when we're having a conversation about the fashion that he did it, or about um uh, you know, his greatness and how it goes, whenever there's a point behind it, I bring up something that maybe not be great. It's like the upside of his greatness blows.
SPEAKER_02Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Sure. Okay, of course. Give me one second, bro. There you go.
SPEAKER_03All right, go ahead. Yeah. So like it's like the greatness, like it's like when it's like if if um, you know, like we're talking about Jordan, and just like how you say, like, with LeBron with his upside, right? Like, so if I know that it's like, okay, he's not great all around or whatever, but if you if you're giving it something specific where it's like he did this at a point in time when it was like he rose to the cream of the crop. And it was people that were around him, he still rose up um higher than. And then in that same aspect, it's the same with Kobe. And then if when you come to Jordan, or I mean when you come to LeBron, it's like, you know, some people may nitpick or whatever the case may be. And that's the only thing that I'm not trying to like nitpick, it's and it's not like a I my opinion is LeBron is just the greatest player of all time. I'm just going off of like, like I said, like the all-around, just watching it. Like I watched Jordan play, I watched Kobe play, and I'm watching LeBron play just over a long period of time, like since I was a kid, you know, I can't leave a little bias to it. Because of course, like we around like the same age and shit like that. So it's like one of those, you rooting for somebody that's around your same age where it's like, damn, that nigga really still doing it. You get what I mean? Sure. But it's it's never like I'm coming off on a um on a bias tip where I'm just like, you know, uh Kobe is trash and Jordan is trash, or they're not. Yeah, I got you. They don't, they don't measure up to whatever it is. It's just I need to understand. So when I so when I'm explaining for my why I feel like LeBron is the way he is, is that the specific rising above the crops, just like they did, or cream to rising to the top, and then also doing it over a longer period of time, and then doing it to the point where everybody kept thinking that you wasn't gonna do it, and you kept doing it. On top of the highest percentage of the most athletic athletes in the NBA ever. That's the hardest, like that's like it's just nigga, you playing monsters on every fucking team. Like niggas that was doing they shit, like imagine niggas that've been doing it since high school, college, before high school, all of that. They the dogs are the dogs of the dogs. Niggas coming from overseas. The dogs are the dogs of the dogs, and then they getting into the NBA and they're just pew, pew, pew, pew, pew. And you keep going, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. As you get older, there's no way that people can't look at that and just be like, God damn, this nigga might be one of the greatest. We can't say if he wasn't or he isn't, but we can say he's one of the greatest that's playing in the greatest time of the NBA ever. We gotta at least give him this award. So in that, in that aspect of with LeBron, that's why I look at it like that. Now, when it when you're talking about um the Denzel situation, yeah, we only got to do two of them. No, like I like obviously, I think my my ranking is more off of like like we was talking about. It's more off of not necessarily my opinion about the person, like specifically, or like the specific roles. I'm just saying, like, I've I've seen them act in enough roles where I could say, oh shit, that nigga has enough range. Now I don't, um, like with the Ryan, uh, I don't even know what I've ranked him at. You know what I'm saying? But I don't, I don't think he's necessarily um like an S tier. I would, I would say like B plus, maybe A, only specifically, because like I said, like his range, bro, like when you can take, when you could take a person that is new to acting and be like, yo, I don't really I don't really know if they could do it or not. And then they get on the fucking scene and they holding their own with um, like who was in the like everybody was in the heart of they fall, bro. Motherfucking Idris Elba, Lake Stamp, like it was mad people in that shit. And that's not the first movie I've seen him in. I've seen him in this other movie, um, I think it was called Emergency. And then I seen him in this other movie, um, where it was like uh he was like the brother who was like the, yo, like he, and he can, you know, he can go from being serious to then being funny real quick, right? But I haven't seen him do the sinister part that I do want. He he was he was kind of close to it in um The Heart of They Fall, but he wasn't as close to it as I thought it was.
SPEAKER_01But So what did you get Riot RJ Siler?
SPEAKER_03I gave him like a B plus.
SPEAKER_01I gave him a B as well.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so that's what I'm saying. You know what I mean? Yeah. Uh but that's what I'm saying. Mine, I'm not going off of opinion. I'm going off of how I just feel. I don't give a fuck. Tenure, none of that. Like, nigga, you gotta put in some work so I could be like, okay.
SPEAKER_01Well, clearly the only person that we disagreed on was Denzel Washington. I don't understand. Yo, bro, because I can't do that. The disagreement, but it's not that serious.
SPEAKER_03That shit, yo, because I I I really be trying to understand, like, and I get it now. That's why I'm not even gonna ask about it. Denzel is like Michael Jordan to niggas in the hood, bro. That it just is what it is. There's nothing you can argue about it.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03I'm trying to get um And mine ain't even gonna be black, man. I got I ain't got all black. I fucking Leonardo DiCaprio, S tier.
SPEAKER_02Fucking um uh, who the fuck this ugly nigga? See my boy on here too.
SPEAKER_03Um the nigga from uh what you call it, he's a good actor, but he You gotta give me the name first.
SPEAKER_01I don't know.
SPEAKER_03I gotta find I gotta f I gotta cause my fucking computer, man.
SPEAKER_01This shit is a piece of who you what movie you talk about?
SPEAKER_03He's in um The Gringo? He's an African nigga.
SPEAKER_02He's a good actor.
SPEAKER_01The gringo. Oh, uh yeah. Um David David uh hold on. Yeah, write it down. David Oye Lobo. I'ma go with I'ma go.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna go B. I'm gonna go B.
SPEAKER_01That doesn't mean he's not a bad actor. I'm just gonna go B. You probably what you gonna put him at, eh?
SPEAKER_03What so what are you what are you ranking? Oh my goodness. To me, he's a B. But do you get you get what I'm saying, Ali? You're killing me right now. What you're ranking people off of? You're just ranking people off of because you haven't seen a lot of their movies, so you don't want to give them a higher.
SPEAKER_01I'm just thinking, I'm rank, I'm ranking them when I see them. Are they good in a role? And do I remember them in their role? I think he's a B tier actor. Okay. That doesn't mean he's terrible. For me, that's a B tier. Okay. You see him see him as an A. That's fine. I'm okay with that. No, no, I'm no. I'm okay with that. I mean, he's a B. For me, he was he was Martin Luther King in Selma. He was in Lore Bass, which I Law Men, which was bad, boring. He was in roleplay, that was decent. I don't even remember him in Leecher.
SPEAKER_03I'm not, I'm not, so I'm not, I'm not, I that's why I said I'm not going off of you're going off of the movies that you watch and if they're memorable. I'm going off of the simple fact of I've seen them in different roles, not gonna say that they have range.
SPEAKER_01I'm going off a solely range. Okay, you're going off a solely range, fine. So if you're going off a solely range off of him, then a quick synopsis, real quick, what's his range? What are what am I ranking? You gotta give me, you gotta give me from what? So if you're going solely off a range, because I gave him a B, which is I mean, I'm not that's okay.
SPEAKER_03I'm not right. But I wasn't, I never disagreed. I would put him at a B too, but I was just asking what was what were you ranking it off of? It's not like I was like, Oh, just acting skills in general.
SPEAKER_01Okay, just acting skills in general. Like I rain, I mean, yeah, you once again he was Martin Luther King. He was he was a dad in Don't Let Go. He he was in he's in silo. I don't remember Jack Reacher. He was in roleplay, he was in Lance Bass. Like, I'm not, I think he's a B. Alright. And he's British, too, which I don't even know. All these British people.
SPEAKER_03What about uh Jonathan Major? How many I got now?
SPEAKER_01Ooh, Jonathan Majors. You know, so that's my guy. Um go B, man. Jonathan Majors is a little hard. Why? Because I almost want to rank him an A. But then like I didn't see magazine dreams yet. Excellent in Creed, like, you know what I mean? Excellent in Lovecraft, excellent in Heart of They Fall. That was hard. Jonathan Majors is hard. Why? I don't understand why. I don't know. Cause I feel like he he he's an A, but he's really a B.
SPEAKER_03He is really a B.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. All right, go ahead.
SPEAKER_03Like a negative, a B a B minus. Okay, I'll give you a B minus. He's fucking, he cry, like he just got that cry face all the time. Yeah. And then Yeah, me not now. My boy got stocky, so he could definitely be in some, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he he be on some sucker MC shit.
SPEAKER_03You know, I I bring, he like, he liked my boy from um, my boy from motherfucking uh uh Paradise. That nigga just got the forever crying face. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01Like the missus can't stand him.
SPEAKER_03That nigga always like Mr. One Tear down the eye.
SPEAKER_01So melodramatic. And and you know, if you was to put him on the list, I would give him a B. Because he can act, but it's just like I give him props for crying. Like the way he, the way he, what's the word? Exuthes emotion on the screen.
SPEAKER_03He's very good at that.
SPEAKER_01It's just malware.
SPEAKER_03And like cry where it's like, but it's like he just has that still face and in that one tier. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And you feel, and you, and you, and listen, not for them, you feel that shit when you see him. Like, I've like as much as he's corny, like in paradise, he's corny, but I feel him how he's looking for his wife. I feel it. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03I feel like you know what I'm gonna say about this one. Uh, remember what we was talking about. I had I had my theory about the dark skins and how there's more melanin within. Yes. And how the controlling it. I don't know, bro. You know what I'm saying? Because he. I'm just saying, he the darker the berry, sweeter the juice. That nigga black is fucked.
SPEAKER_01He is. He is. He is. Yeah, he be doing that. If you was go ahead. No, no, go ahead. No, I was gonna say, if you was gonna put him on the list, I would have gave him a B. Okay, so he's on my list. Okay. What's his name again?
SPEAKER_03I don't know. Put the nigga.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna put I'ma put Paradise. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03I gave him, I gave him a B. Then I got fucking Sidney Portier. Nah, I I do got my man Morgan Freeman on the list, though. I ain't gonna hold it. Oh, he's S. Yes. Okay. So this is I'm so I'm trying to, you know what? You know what? I'm gonna, I'm going to, I don't even have to look at this. Because I've been searching too long. I'm about to give you 10 S tier actors that I feel they're on a tier of S tier. And nigga, if you if you can't do the rains like they can, Uncle Denzel, you can't play with the big dictator. Okay, right?
SPEAKER_01Give me, give me, I'm gonna write them down as you go. S tier actors, go.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so we're gonna do fucking um Jamie Foxx. Oh, motherfucking uh.
SPEAKER_01No, you just don't, you so, so, so once again, it looks like you're gonna give me a list based on range. I I'm okay with the range part, but I'm also doing the actor part too. No, but what do you mean range? So if you have range, that means you can't act? Just because you got range don't mean you're good at it. Like, motherfucking Nicolas Cage has range. Nicholas Cage has range, and you don't consider him an S actor.
SPEAKER_03Because he is an over-the-top guy and he doesn't have, listen, he's the listen, listen, listen. There's a difference between having, and I'm just explaining my side. Hear me out. There's a, for me, my, in my uh, like in my mind, how range works, right? Range works as in you, you could go this way, or you could go that way. Either way that you go, whether you're like in comedy and you do something, or whether you're in like a sinister role or you do something, you're not, you don't look over the top. It's not cringy at all at any point in time, right? So that's the reason why like I say for Lakeith Stanfield, I really, I, yo, bro, I ain't gonna front, bro. I feel like he's an S-tier actor because he doesn't get enough respect like he should, because he hasn't gotten that main, main, I'm the guy role yet. But if he can be next to people from um uh shit, I nigga, everybody from fucking uh, who the fuck he was playing in the um what you call it? Uh The Heart of They Fall. It was motherfucking Boris Cujo or Idris, whatever that one nigga name is. The goddamn when he was with Mark Wahlberg and had his held his own, like, or he'll be in a movie with a whole bunch of comedians like fucking Atlanta or some shit like that, and he's the one that you barely see that nigga, but you waiting to see him because of his role. You know what I'm saying? I've also seen a play a man where he was heartbroken and destruct, chasing his wife around for a whole series. You get what I mean? Like so I I've seen his range, man. Like, um, but yes.
SPEAKER_01My only my only issue, my only issue with Lake Stanfield, and I don't have him at S shit, I have him at A. My, and that, and that's like an A plus. My only issue with Lake Stanfield is I think he's a phenomenal actor, but I feel like a lot of his roles are very broody. With with the exception of a couple episodes in Atlanta, a lot of his roles are like slower roles, right? And I'm not, and that's not a bad thing. But like when he was that joint on Apple TV, he was good in it, but it was a slower, like he like his roles are very, very thought-out and very emotional roles. And that's not a bad thing. That's that's just my only issue with Lake Stanfield. My only issue. It's like he knows his lines and he delivers them, but they're also slower movies. That's all I'm saying. But I could be wrong. I could be wrong.
SPEAKER_03So I can't, so this is the only this the only reason why I always spin things back around um when it comes to Denzel. Because I um when you when when we know that a person can act, but we also know that they've only been in, or we know that they've been in plenty of movies. But like you just said, the majority of their movies are in a box. Okay. That's where I lose how we're ranking any other situation when it comes to like, and not being funny, it's like prints. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's like you can, everybody, like this one person gets a capsule in time. He could do whatever he wants. We will never judge him. But then these niggas over here, if you do something that is like, mm, nigga, I gotta see more out of you, because I Seen enough. But then it's like, this nigga been over here for 50 fucking years and been doing the same fucking thing. Why are y'all not saying that about him? That's where I'm at with it. And it's not to say that he's bad or he's bad. It's just like, oh, okay, I get it. So that's why that's why I asked so many questions about Denzel, not to take anything away from his character, but to be like, oh, okay, now I can understand why they actually rank Denzel or why they say the things that they say, because I can't disagree. Like when you brought up the thing about um him him being theatrical, you know what I'm saying? Like he's a he's a theater, like uh uh thespian. You get what I'm saying? So like that, like you know what I mean? So I'm like, okay, I get that. You get what I'm saying? So then it's like Lakeith is a thespian as well. You get what I mean? Like, so I'm just like I I agree.
SPEAKER_01I'm not once again, I'm not I'm not disagreeing with you. I I just hate going back to the whole, because we get caught up, we'll we'll be talking about something and get caught up in this one person. Like you get caught up on the blackish thing, you get caught up on the Michael Joint thing, you get caught on Moon and Keith Stanfield thing, right? It's like, bro, I get it. We don't disagree that greatly. What all I'm saying when it comes to Denzel Washington, now some people, some older people, Denzel can't do no wrong. I'm not, I'm agreeing with you. I don't think Denzel has the greater range that he that's over Samuel Jackson. He definitely doesn't have the range like Jamie Foxx, but who does? Because Jamie Foxx can rap, sing, do all that, right? So Will Smith can too. Like we like they're in totally two different categories. All I'm saying is the range that Denzel is in is top notch, right? And I try and I try and I try to bring it to a basketball player, and I tried to do that. Or or let's say a barber. Right? There's so many different styles you can do, right? But if that barber is nice on fades and whatever, and he's won awards for fades, but he's a little middle of the pack with other things. He's still gonna be looked at one of the great barbers because what he can do, what he's good at, he's excellent in. That's all I'm saying. We may disagree on all the other parts, but we agree on that. Denzel can't do certain things, but the things he can do, he's excellent in. That's all I'm saying. That was my only argument. That was my only argument.
SPEAKER_03I I don't I don't think you you've necessarily heard my only argument with Lake, but I get it though. I I was I was just only focusing on the last part that you said with Lake. You said Lake only shows a certain amount of range in his films. So how can people put that same energy with Denzel, who only shows a certain amount of range in his films?
SPEAKER_01Because Lake hasn't gotten the, he hasn't, what we see other people haven't seen yet, right? So all I'm saying is Denzel, what we've seen with the other people have seen. If Lake is out there beating Timothy Chalamet, and like we we literally just had a conversation last week about putting Timothy Chalamet, Lake Stanfield, and Michael B. Jordan in one category. You can't put Timothy Chalamet up there with some of the Titans. He may be well on his way. I mean, it looks like after Murray Supreme, he's he's on the rocket ship going straight up. That's all I'm saying. I think Lake Stanfield is great. For me, every time I see him, I'll be like, I really have to think in this role. Because this nigga's gonna say something, or he's gonna stare in this camera and he's gonna do something, and I'm like, oh. But he was great in it. All his movies, I I truly enjoyed. I fucking, I fucked with ATL and and uh what was the movie where they had the the the bro, but he was standing talking to the other guy saying, no, you great, no, you great. You smell wonderful. He was excellent in that. So sorry for the world. Yeah. I think it's next to me. You can't you can't you can put Lakeith Stanfield in S tier. I just I mean, no, no, it's not no, it's not. He ain't on the same level as Jamie Foxx. And Jamie Foxx's S, bro. But go ahead, keep going. Let's go. Because I don't want to get caught up on Lakeith Stanfield.
SPEAKER_03You know what I mean? No, no, it's not. Um we're not caught up on Lakeith Stanfield. We're caught up on how you rank Denzel and why you rank Denzel the way you rank him. And then we went, I was talking about Lakeith Stanfield. And when I brought up Lakeith Stanfield, you took away from his ranking because you said that he acted in a box. So, with that being said, then I correlated that to Denzel. If you see that he's in a box.
SPEAKER_01I get you. I I get what you're saying. I understand what you're saying. I'm just saying that box, that box is not what I mean by Denzel's box, is a little more restricted than Lake Stanfield's box. And that's what I was trying to. Right. Meaning a lot of Denzel's characters are like usually the same person, but just a little different per movie. Lake Stanfield's box is not the character, it's the acting and the line that he gives. That's what I'm trying to say. So my boxes are a little different between the two, right? Lakeith Stanfield, when he's talking in ATL, like he had a comedic role in ATL, right? Very hilarious, but his delivery was monotone, right? Um his delivery was also the same in some of his other movies, but it was a different character. But he was great doing it. That's all I'm saying. I've I for me, I have yet to see, like you say, you have yet to see Denzel do certain roles. I have yet to see Lakeebe do certain roles where it's a more livelier role. And if he is in one, then send it to me. I'll watch it. But a lot of his roles are very brooding roles. For me. But he's green in them.
SPEAKER_03I'm not saying they're not, but you I don't think what I'm saying. That's why he's an S.
SPEAKER_01No. I know what you're saying. You're saying if you could put Lakeith Sanfield at an A, Denzel should be an A because they're both in boxes.
SPEAKER_03No, I'm not saying that. That's what I'm saying. I'm not saying that. You keep focusing on Lakeith and keep this all about Lake and not Denzel. I'm it like we're it is definitely this is too long of a conversation on these two people. I got you. I just a situation of I'm just trying to understand how you rank Denzel and then you explain because of his range and his tenure. So someone has range and tenure, you're never they're never gonna.
SPEAKER_01Take the tenure part out of it. I don't even I don't even know why that comes up.
SPEAKER_03Well, well, you said because of the amount of movies that he's done and where you have seen him, however, but even in that same aspect, the amount of movies that he's done, like you said out of your mouth, was Denzel just in different roles, opposed to where I see Lake Stanfield in a role, and I'm like, oh shit, that's Lake Stanfield. But you're just measuring it off of being like, that's Lake Stanfield, I know because he's talking in a monotone or something like that. It's like, you like what? You talk, we're talking about he went from an action movie, you like, he doesn't have no He was in an action movie with fucking Mark Wahlberg. Action What movie was that? It was with Mark Wahlberg, it just came out. Oh, I didn't see it. What movie? He's been in like three back-to-back action movies. That's why I didn't even say anything, because I'm like, I don't even get what you mean. Like, he's been in action movies that have been like boom bam bow bout, and he's like trying to compete with someone this big on the screen. Okay. So that's why we're like when he's in a different role, like niggas don't even know that nigga was in get out. You get what I'm saying? Like, niggas don't even remember that shit. That nigga didn't even look like him. Or if you get a big thing. I remember it completely. We remember it because we know movies and shit like that, but most people don't correlate the guy from um Atlanta being like, yo, you know that high dude in Atlanta was the dude from Get Out? Niggas don't know that. You get what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01So you're talking about Play Dirty? I didn't see Play Dirty yet.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So I mean, it wasn't talking about like it was all that. I'm just saying, you know, it was an act of.
SPEAKER_01But but but but what I'm saying is, right? So, like, all right, I got you.
SPEAKER_03I'm I'm not I'm not putting that up there to be like, oh yeah, that's a good role.
SPEAKER_01No, I get you.
SPEAKER_03You mean if that's the case, it's like, oh, I we could go back and forth, and I'd be like, oh yeah, well, Denzel's last movie wasn't all that. I'm not going off of that movie.
SPEAKER_01No, no, I feel you.
SPEAKER_03If Zell was a good actor, Lakeith is a good actor. I'm my excellent actor. Yeah, my thing was I was just going off of like range. I'm not taking nothing away from away from Dimzheads.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, but you know, but you know, right. But you know how you put when we talk about the actor from paradise, right? Okay. And and you can agree with me, the actor from paradise. I think he's a great actor or or or very good. I think he's above average, but we can agree. We can, I can bring him down a notch, you could bring him up a notch, we can agree on that. But a lot of his roles, it's that, like you said, he he always has that tear, right? His that emotion always jumps off the screen. And that's what I'll that's all I'm saying about Lake. It's just like, I haven't seen Play Dirty. But when I look at a lot of stuff like the photograph and Judas and the Black Messiah, the Book of Clarence, um, right, Crown Heights, like uh even Roofman, like a lot of his delivery, which he's great in, it's it's it's similar, right? No, it's now I have to see, okay, fine, fine. Let's go to another actor. Let's go to another actor, because I don't even wanna I don't even wanna do this, because you're you're gonna ride out for Lake Stanford, and I am too. We just have different levels.
SPEAKER_03No, no, because you because you were saying it's the same, and that's what I'm saying about Denzel. But you're you're looking at the- I agree with you though. Oh, okay, all right.
SPEAKER_01I agree with you with Denzel. I didn't disagree with you. I agreed with you. Okay, but um, I so then I then this is a pointless conversation. That's all I'm saying. I'm just saying I agree, I agree with you on the Denzel domains. Oh, my whole point with Denzel is the shit that he was in, whether it's limitless, limit, limited range or not, he was excellent and got awards for. That's all I'm saying. But you're absolutely correct. And I think that's a that's a part that you it's you seem to get caught up on. He's not good in certain roles, but he's excellent in others, and the roles he was in, he was excellent in where he like he was excellent. I can't take that away from him. Whether it's the same shit in Equalizer, whether it's the same shit in fucking Gladiator, whether it's the same shit in training day. Fine. Whether it's the same shit in fucking, or like he dies with his same stick out of his bottom lip crops. The same shit. But he's good in it. Like, I I I can't, uh, what you want me to say?
SPEAKER_02That's all.
SPEAKER_03Nah, I just I I my boy, you know what I'm saying? My boy got a real. I know.
SPEAKER_01We all don't want to do your boy dirty, cuz.
SPEAKER_03Nah, I mean it is what it is. I I can't necessarily say anything because it's we all you put him at S, I'll put him at A.
SPEAKER_01Like I it wasn't like I put them at B.
SPEAKER_03No, I put them at B. So the thing is, my I'm we're not, I'm not, um, I think there's the thing that we can agree on is that Samuel L. Jackson is an S-tier actor. Absolutely. Along with Jamie Foxx. And when you put those two in an S tier, the range that they have, nobody can. People like Leonardo DiCaprio and other individuals, those are the only ones that could go in there. I guess. And Denzel, unfortunately, is not a part of that.
SPEAKER_01Okay, fine. But you're so once again, once again, and I hate spinning the block on this, but sometimes I feel like I need to. You're only taking Denzel out of that, not because of his acting, but because of his range. Right? I said that, I said that 50 minutes ago. I said that. You and I both agree, but you but okay. So fine. Go ahead. Go to the next person. There's nobody else. I'm not even, uh I'm not even that's it. There's nobody else.
SPEAKER_03We could talk, we could talk about uh 50 50 and uh no he's he's a he's a D actor.
SPEAKER_01Continue.
SPEAKER_03No, not a war, 50 Cent.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, man.
SPEAKER_03No, but I was talking about So who you think is a better actor, T I or 50 Cent?
SPEAKER_01Wait, they're they're awash. 50 Cents. Methyman's a better actor than them. Who, all right, so who's the Ice Cube? They're all the same. 50 Cent, Ice Cube, all of them, huh?
SPEAKER_03Who's the best rapper actor? All the rapper actors, X class, A-class, whatever. What would you do to them? Or who just dop top three, top three actor rappers. Or rappers that turn actors. Or actors that turn rappers. Because Machine Gun Kelly, yo, bro, I ain't gonna, yo, bro, nah, I ain't gonna hold you. Bro, he got this movie with yo, no, for real. He has this movie with Kevin Bacon. And he's it's it's Kevin Bacon and the little light-skinned girl from um Euphoria, not Zendaya, her little sister. Bro, all takes place on a bus, yo.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03He held it down.
SPEAKER_01Actors turn, whatever you want to do, whatever, number one is Mark Wahberg. The racist? Yeah, I mean, whatever you want to call him.
SPEAKER_03Not even like I want to this Will Smith.
SPEAKER_01Oh, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Will Smith. I'll give you that. And then Mark Wahberg.
SPEAKER_03And then LL Cool J.
SPEAKER_01L. Cool J. I'll put him up there. I'll give um Bow Wow's up there.
SPEAKER_03No, I know he's not. No, he is not.
SPEAKER_01Tupac. Oh no!
SPEAKER_03Queen Latifa. Yes, I was about to say. Iced tea.
SPEAKER_01I mean, Law and Order. I mean, that's all I see. That's it. Oh, um, I'm looking at a list. Um, Yassine Bey, my man, um most deaf, yeah. Most deaf.
SPEAKER_03Most deaf, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01He's a good actor. Most yo, most ludicrous? No. No. That means. Common. Common can act.
SPEAKER_03Can he? Like, he's yo, bro, so listen. So listen, right? So, no? So listen, common is common in every movie. That's true. He is he is the Denzel. Like Okay. Okay, you're not a bad actor. Okay. You de he definitely needs to smile more. I would definitely like him to smile more. Um, who else?
SPEAKER_01I'm just saying, Common, I'm just saying, I'm just saying, Common. He was a hitman in 40. Um he and I know you don't like, I know you don't like my man. Uh can't even think of his name. Neo, what's his name? Who? Neo. Um, Keanu Reeves. I know you don't like Keanu Reeves. It's not that I don't like the. He's in those, right? So listen. I'm just saying. I'm not disagreeing. I get what you're saying. I'm not disagreeing with you on comment. I'm just saying, give Common a little more. Why, though? Because of that. He was in a ROM, he's in a rom-com with Queen Latifa, right? Like That was probably his best work. Probably.
SPEAKER_03But I'm saying, he's done different stuff. Listen, but we're not, we him, we not even, and I get it. Okay, so because I you got it, because I'm talking about range, right? So if we're talking about range, he's a he doesn't have range. What? He has one face.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_03He has a range of movies. Okay. But he doesn't have range. Do you get what I'm saying? I get what you're saying. That nigga could be in Daddy Daycare 7. That don't mean that he has range. It's just gonna be common in Daddy Daycare 7.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_03Like, so all the kids sit down. I'm gonna do y'all. And then, and then hold up. And then you you tried to come at my boy Lake Stanfield about him. No, about monotone. You did. You did, goddammit. You said that he had monotone. You get so big out of shape sometimes. You you said he had monotone, and Common doesn't. But I'm not ranking Common high, though.
SPEAKER_01I know, I'm just saying. We talked about But I'm not ranking him high, though. It's not like I said Common was a top three uh uh uh actor, rapper. No. I just wanted to use that. I just wanted to use that for my argument. That's that's a bad example, but I got you. All right, I tried to. I got you. So yeah, so Will Smith, Will Smith is number one. Yeah, yeah. Um I'm looking at this list Ice Cube, they have a number two, which is horrible. Tupac, you're talking about Tupac Shakur. That's another one, God bless him. Same role. So, let's be real. Queen Litha. Oh boy, let's be real. What about Tupac?
SPEAKER_03So all of his roles was the same roles?
SPEAKER_01No, but Tupac was Tupac in all his movies. Because the movie did he wasn't. Yeah, no, you're right. But I'm saying, you're gonna take Common. Common is Tupac.
SPEAKER_03No, no, no, it's different. So, yo, bro, the rage though, no, no, no. You can do that, Jamal. Don't you do that? You don't do that. You can't do that.
SPEAKER_01For you to even You take comment and you say all his movies, Common's the same, and I'm gonna and I'm gonna I'm gonna argue that point and say, as much as people love Tupac, he was Tupac in all his movies, too.
SPEAKER_03So you have to let me finish the argument because Okay, finish the argument. I'm sorry. That happened.
SPEAKER_01I'm I'm I'm peeing while you're talking. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay. So the reason why it's not like that is because of the simple fact we're talking about a small amount of time. We're talking about what? Nine, the end of nine, four to like nine six. So of course, he was a boy running around, rapping, shooting, doing all this hood stuff, and that was who he was for that year and a half. The nigga did probably four movies in one year at one point, right? Whether it was like gang related, whether it was bulletproof, all right. So I'm not taking nothing away from that, but uh though for to compare the two, to to say that the um the movie roles that Common had over a longer period of time was the same as the amount of roles that Tupac had over a short amount of time and that they're the same thing. I I I'm not disagreeing as far as like Tupac was the same role in Juice as the same he was in Poetic Justice, right? And those movies were back to back. But the difference is the amount of range, the amount of range where Tupac could go from being a high school kid to where he's sinister. And you like, yo, I don't trust that nigga, he better get the fuck from around me. So then he could be in a role and be in a fucking cookout talking about compete, con pe, right? And it's whole, that's not, that's not that same um dude that was change that was chasing Q around and juice and jumping over rooftops. That was a whole different person in that movie. So you can't get who it was Tupac, but that's the reason why it completely separates them, because within a year, we saw more range in Tupac, whether he was in gang-related next to James Belushi, or whether he was in Poetic Justice and he played a cop in that role, and then he was in Poetic Justice and he was just regular, or whether he was in Juice and then he was, I mean, uh um, yeah, juice, you know what I'm saying, and he was hood, you know what I'm saying? Like it was a bunch of different roles he could play. I I and I really think going on, nigga, they said like right before he died, that nigga was supposed to be in fucking uh, that nigga was supposed to take the role of uh Maison Windu in Star Wars. So nigga, if that nigga would have had that role instead of Samuel L. Jackson shit, who knows? We might be talking about him being in S class right now, but Maybe you know, I I we're not gonna speculate for nothing. I'm just gonna say um the same role that Common played in the movie Date Night that was a comedy. Right? And that was a good movie. That was a hilarious movie. But he didn't do one hilarious thing. He did his role. That's the same role he played in every single movie that he was in. Okay. The lightest he lightened up was the movie, like you said, with um uh um Queen Latifah, where I'm gonna give you an example why Sam, or uh if we're talking about S tier rapper to actors, nigga, my boy LL is in the S tier, cause that nigga could do last holiday and be a uh studious nigga that's trying to bag Queen Latifah in love rom-com. Like you really don't think he uh a shark, you know, his head is like a shark's fan. This nigga played a whole different role. So then I could put you in a movie across from Omar S, like in too deep. And I'm gonna hold a pool stick ever if I'm in your vicinity. You get what I'm saying? Right. Like so Common ain't do that. Kamen doesn't show a lot of emotion in his role. And I think that's what separates him from other people. I think I think the thing that that with Denzel, he shows emotion in his role at times, but a lot of times he doesn't show that excessive amount of emotion. And I I don't, I'm not saying he can't tap into that and he's not a good actor, but from what I would just assume, he is an old school black man and he doesn't want to show it. You know what you mean? Like he doesn't want to show that. And it's too cool for school. Huh?
SPEAKER_02He's too cool for school.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you get what I mean? And it's one of those where it's like, if if I'm the last of the Sydney Portier type niggas, I can't wear no dresses. I can't be out here shucking and jiving, doing no slapstick comedy. I can't be out here doing CGI, rolling over the hood of a car because I want to get it a little bit of money. Like I'm Arnold Schwarzenegger and I never did it before. I don't think we're ever gonna see Denzel do um, obviously, because he's too old now. You know what I'm saying? But I don't think we're ever gonna see him actually do those, maybe those roles. But I I would like to see him, like you said, in something. Uh he needs to take several, he needs, I'm I'm watching this just in case. Before the Robert De Niro shit. Like you was like, Robert De Niro, you know what I'm saying? Like Beyond Studio, where it's like Uncle, you know, or the grandpa, or like just the nigga that's maybe it's like the old, like if, if um, like you remember lottery ticket, and remember remember Ice Cube play the old nigga in the basement? Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like something like that. If like Denzel could get a role, something like that. Me personally, though, this just me, this my I want to see uh like I wanna see him on an Apple TV comedy where it's like, and I'm not, I'm not trying to be like, I want him to be tripping over something and some goofy Jim Carrey, Jim Carrey type character. I want to see him be Denzel, but like, I want to see Denzel at home.
SPEAKER_01You wanna see Denzel on a series like a lot of them other dudes, and and hold it, right? Like Samuel Jackson, he's in a series, right? Steve, which but series, series shows the range, though.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know what I'm saying? Like Steve.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. Yeah, like I wanna think he will, though. Who? Say that again? I don't think he will, though. Yeah, and that's fine. That nigga he got enough money. He don't gotta do what I what I'm asking. You hear me?
SPEAKER_01Like Morgan Freeman, Morgan Freeman, the goddamn narrator for uh for this shit on Netflix about dinosaurs. Like, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, he does that for uh Discovery Channel too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you know what I mean? Like Denzel, that's Denzel. He's like the last of the tough side black, uh high, high team, high team things. But um, yeah, that was that was good, bro. See, because this is what I'm talking about. So when you when you go and edit it and you come up with names, you gotta do the little list, and but like, and you know what I mean? And um we could do this for a lot of people. We could do this for my boy Al. We could do like top 10 action heroes when we put like we can argue over wrestlers turned actors. I mean, obviously we can both gonna agree that Batista is number one. But I don't know, John Cena is close with him, you know what I mean? Like they they they close. I mean, I don't know, like so you don't think rock at the top no more? Nah, because Rock, the Rock is typecast too, right? Like all of the Rock's joints are similar.
SPEAKER_03Did you like his last movie?
SPEAKER_01Nah, that joint was boring, Mo, and it wasn't even a movie. I felt like it was like um it like someone reviewed it and said the movie was like events that they just put in sequence, but it wasn't really a movie. And that's how I felt. I was like, oh, he went to Japan, he fought, oh, he came back, his wife picked up a gun. Oh, you know what I mean? Like it wasn't like a coherent movie, and it was just boring. Like The Rock needs to do rebranding too, obviously. Like, he needs a big rebranding because niggas ain't niggas ain't watching 6'5, 6'6, 200 plus pound niggas just beat stalls in no more. Like, those are not the movies. The the action heroes have gotten smaller. Yeah. You know what I mean? With the exception of Reacher, but and he don't really do the like he he got, he could, I mean, he got war machine, but you know, he has the TV series with Reacher and stuff. But there's the Arnold Schwarzenegger's and the Rocks and all those, they not like even Jason Statham, like people watch it because he's not super bulky. He looks like the average guy, there's just no karate, but he ain't he ain't throwing people. You see Jason Statham movements, he be getting fucked up too. Like you be, you know what I mean? He be getting punched in the face and get through glass and you know, those big, big bus blockbuster movements, these big dudes, they don't, they don't fly no more. People just like people like seeing Timothy Chalamet and fucking Bradley Cooper and these 175-pound dudes do that and it don't fly no more. Rock's gonna have to rebrand. He's gonna have to come, he's he's gonna have to do something. I don't know what. I don't know either, man. You know what I mean? Maybe he maybe he'll come on, maybe he'll do ballers. I mean, ballers was great, but um, I don't know, man. He gotta do that.
SPEAKER_03Denzel Sun is a D, by the way.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I had hope for him, bro, and then like I don't know what happened, man. Like, but he was good at Denzel Sun was good in that movie. I forgot where they were, and he had to get away. Like, he was being chased. I forgot the name of that joint. Tennant? Nah, I didn't really like Tenant because Tenant was way over my head. Um he was being chased. Um and they were like in a foreign country. I forgot the name of that joint, but he is a D though. You know what I just watched yesterday?
SPEAKER_03What'd you say the name of it? It was Beckett. Beckett, okay, yeah, yeah, I saw that.
SPEAKER_01And he was good in the creator too.
SPEAKER_03Like, I ain't I mean, that movie was out.
SPEAKER_01I know, but I'm just saying, he wasn't decent in that.
SPEAKER_03Um uh it's his movie. Here's a it was a true story too. That movie with The Rock, that was based on a guy that went to SU, too. He was on the SU. Yeah, I know. Yeah, yeah, I know. I was watching this, this, it's something on on Netflix. I'm about to go. It's something on Netflix, uh Son of a Champion or something like that. But so it was like um, like I was talking about your son put hands on niggas, but he don't put hands on you, he just yoke you up. Like he's nice to MMA, right? So this is before all the MMA shit. So boom. So it started off and it's just showing like his skills. He just put hands on niggas. So he went to like Dubai, and it was this dude over in Dubai that had like, you know, his big little Russian bodyguard or whatever. So they they bought this one shorty that she got like 50,000. They bought her for 50,000, and she came over to the bar and she like trying to chill. So the big nigga come over to her and like, yo, come back over here, because this nigga paid bread. So the dude is next to her, and he like, yo, she don't want to go with you, bro, so just chill. So the big nigga looked at him like, yo, man, shut the fuck up. We put money, we put money into her pocket, that's what she about to do. So she like, nah, chill, don't worry about it. So, like, his the guy that spent the money, then obviously the bodyguard was over there, the guy that spent the money came over and was like, yo, she's with me, don't worry about it. And my boy right here, he'll put hands on you, you know what I'm saying? So the dude looked at him, he was like, yo, he looked at the girl, he was like, You sure? You good? She was like, Yeah, I'm good. So, you know, whatever happened, they went and sat down. So he's with a dude for like a big chic from Dubai. So the chic from Dubai came in, and he like, yo, bro, you gotta chill. Dude over there, no crawl McGraw. You know what I'm saying? And the girl that you try to protect, she's a prostitute. He like, what you mean? I just met her on an airplane, blah, blah, blah. He like, nah, they paid her $50,000. She comes over here like everybody else, and they always break, they always give up the booty. You know what I'm saying? So he like, all right, bet. But he's personally like, yo, this nigga tried to test me. Because I think he was like, um, he was like, what do you do, Brazilian jujitsu? And the dude was like, oh yeah, that's that's um, that's what faggots do. You know what I'm saying? So the niggas like, he like, worried, you know what I mean? Like, like blowjobs and all that, BJJ, you know what I mean? Brazilian jujitsu. So he like, alright, so boom. So son get up and he walks to the bathroom, the bodyguard, right? So when he sees the bodyguard walk to the bathroom, he like, y'all be right back. He go to the bathroom, whoop the bodyguard the fuck out. I think it's- What movie is this? Um, uh Son of a Champion, something like that.
SPEAKER_04It's on Netflix?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so he comes back and he and it's the old dude, bro. You when you see the nigga, he playing mad movies, but I don't know what he played. I don't, I can't describe him. He looked like a boot, like a little mini bootleg reacher. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? So he comes back and he sit down, and he tell the dude, he like, yo, I don't know what you were saying earlier, but I feel you was disrespecting me. You know what I'm saying? So I'm gonna let you know, look, me and this shorty, we gonna leave, and ain't nothing you could do about it. And he like, ah, yeah, whatever. My man about to come out the bathroom a little bit. He like, nah, that nigga not coming out the bathroom. Then Shorty look at his knuckles, his knuckles crazy bloody, you know what I'm saying? So he swipe Shorty and then he tell the dude, like, I apologize. The whole movie is about him and his life and how he's nice at doing kung fu or Brazilian jujitsu and how he got into a fight with this one dude who was like on bak with the knees, right? But the nigga cheated him. He he whooped out 12 people in a row, but then the 13th dude was this Brazilian jujitsu dude, and before like he went to go bow like this, and as soon as he went to bow, nigga just jumped up with the Superman um knee. Then started, yo, son, the way when he beat the dude that beat the dude up in the bathroom, then goes, you know, he's top-notch and gets Molly Whopped in a UFC ring. Like, yo, he can't even see. Like his eye is gone. You know what I'm saying? So the whole movie is about him being a janitor and getting back to where he needs to get, but this is before the internet pops. So as soon as the internet pops, somebody somebody puts his little fight on the internet and then he he he gets a little rematch. He gets a rematch with the dude. But the shit is is is good though. It's good.
