Meet The Class Chats

A group chat is one thing. Turning it into a podcast microphone is a whole different level of chaos. We’re The Class Chats, and our first conversation is a rapid-fire roll call of personalities, jokes, and the kind of confidence you can only say out loud when your friends are sitting right there ready to argue back.

We start by introducing ourselves and the dynamic becomes clear fast: friendly competition, nonstop teasing, and a surprising amount of heart underneath it. How This Group Knows Each Other

The other people I've known probably my whole life. Gabby, loving. Yeah, unfortunately, I have known some of you for most of my life. What? I've known Gabby for 16 years. It's terrible. Honestly. It's just I'm kidding. Me and Gabby are actually blue that kind of went together. Yeah, I know. Because we've known everybody for the longest. Alright, I'm gonna hand the thingy to Owen now so he can talk. You know I am, I'm talking.

Almost 11 years. Gabby and I'm not sure. Kieran looks so happy right now. We've known Kyla, Leah, and Owen since they were like youngins. And Haley, we've known for a while too. I'm rapping in it.

How The Podcast Got Its Name

Did you just say why am I doomed to be in this conversation? That's terrible. Wait, that's are we not gonna talk about our name? I thought that was the next question. Oh yeah, the name was the next question.

What was the chat? So Okay, so the name is my name, so by the way, I don't know if you know that. I think they heard you. Write it down. So the name for the podcast is called the Clash Chats. Bailey, you want to take that one? Okay, Bailey didn't want to say it. She said it's from the OGs. Which means the first year that this school was started, we all decided we wanted to get a a group chat together. Well, we couldn't think of a name, so being the clever people we are. Being the best people and most of the best people's crazy work. Being the clever people we are, we just named it the class chat, because that's what it was. And then we decided we're different. And now we've changed the name like 20 different times and 20 different variations of the name. The classiest chat, Owen Hate Club, the classiest of the chats of the Owen Hate clubs. Of the Owen Hate Club, yes. And then so when we were thinking of the idea to do a podcast.
