Unconditional Love

While the love of God is continuous and unconditional, experiencing peace is conditional.
Referencing Isaiah 26:3, the speaker explains that God will keep a person in perfect peace only if they meet the condition of keeping their mind stayed on Him and trusting Him.
 Perfect peace does not require perfect circumstances or a perfect life.
Allowing your mind to wander, overthinking, or focusing too much on distractions  Peace cannot be found in a drink, a pill, or any external object; it is only found in Jesus Christ and by focusing on the one who holds the world

Many times you've heard me talk about how the love of God is unconditional. He loves us regardless, and his love is continuous without our journey, never stops. But there are things in the Word of God that are conditional, and peace is one of them. In Isaiah 26, 3, it says, You will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. He will keep in perfect peace if we meet the condition. Keep our mind stayed on him. Not perfect circumstances or a perfect life, but perfect peace. Has your focus shifted? Have your thoughts been running wild? Have you been watching the news or scrolling on Instagram and letting your mind wander and have all these dips and curves rather than keeping your mind stayed on him? And you're wondering, what happened to my peace? Well, that promise of staying in peace is conditional based on you keeping your mind stayed on him. Next time you're wondering, why don't I have any peace? Think about what you've been thinking about. Peace will never be found in a drink. It'll never be found in a pill. It'll never be found in anything but in the perfect peace of Jesus Christ because He is our peace. Peace is found when our focus, our vision is stayed on the one who's got the whole world in his hands. And that includes you and me. God bless you. I love you. Bye.
