Feeling like you’re doing everything “right” but still feel off is one of the clearest signs that something is out of alignment. We dig into a simple truth: when you return to yourself, the right things tend to find their way to you not by magic, but because your energy, choices, and boundaries finally match what you say you want.

We talk about divine feminine alignment through the lens of polarity lead, the way feminine energy and masculine energy can both live in us while still showing up differently in daily life and relationships. To make it practical, we use nature as a guide: trees that blend stability with movement, water that flows around rocks, brooks that need both flow and containment, mountains that anchor direction, and flowers that soften a whole landscape with color and beauty. If you’ve ever struggled to “understand” feminine energy, these metaphors make it easier to feel it.

From there, we move into forest bathing and nature therapy as real tools for grounding, sensory presence, and nervous system regulation, then into vulnerability as a powerful divine feminine strength. I share the wind versus sun story to show why control, pressure, and nagging often backfire, and why warmth and receptivity can create lasting change. You’ll also get a concrete vulnerability practice you can try today, plus a challenge to start listening to learn instead of listening to agree or disagree.

Welcome And The Alignment Quote

SPEAKER_00

Hello and welcome to another episode of Flourishing Femme. I'm Marnae Boquett, and I am super excited to share some gold nuggets on this episode that I hope can assist you in moving more into or embracing the values, the characteristics, and the template of the divine feminine. So there's this quote that I love, and it says, The more you return to yourself, the more the right things find their way to you. That's not luck, that's alignment. So let's talk about alignment for a minute and what that means. And when we are fully aligned with ourselves, our higher truth, which is as women, we are divine beings. Men are divine beings as well. But if they're showing up with the plumbing of a male, then that means that that is their polarity lead. We as women, our plumbing

Polarity Leads And Inner Energies

SPEAKER_00

dictates our polarity lead as their receivers, as feminine. So we all have feminine and masculine energy within us. But when we are biologically, anatomically set up as either a male or a female, then that is known as our polarity lead. And that is the most common way that we can be in alignment is when we honor that polarity lead as a sacred and uh a sacred, honorable way of truly staying in alignment with our truth. So now being very sensitive to people out there who um feel differently, that they want to shift their polarity lead, that is completely, completely up to them, and we honor them as humans with a heart, with hopes, dreams, and desires, just like all of us have. Now, when we are in alignment with our polarity lead as the divine feminine, we can think about feminine being more like the feminine manifestations in nature. So I want to give you this analogy to just think about in nature, we have a really beautiful balance of feminine and masculine. Let's take a tree, for instance.

Nature As A Map For Balance

SPEAKER_00

The masculine part of that tree is the trunk, it's the stability, it's the strength of the tree. And then there is the feminine part of the tree that might that are like the leaves and the smaller, more fragile branches that can wave in the wind. I like to think of the flow when I talk about flow with the divine feminine. It's the things that can flow and have movement and a beautiful way of expression and movement. As to where a tree has that's the stable, strong, anchoring energy of that tree. We can talk about like a rock. A rock has more of a masculine polarity lead as to where water, like a beautiful little brook, that trickles and flows and moves around and shifts and changes as the rocks uh create um kind of a way to flow over and around and through. And a beautiful brook that just flows around that's more feminine. But the sides of the brook that are the container that helps direct the flow of the water is more masculine. Mountains, mountains can have a very masculine feel because they're very, you know, they're strong, they're big, they're um full of majestic power, and they really show up as being landmarkers so they can lead, right? They mountains can lead us. I know I live in an area where I know my directions north, south, east, and west, because of where certain mountains are. And then you've got the beautiful flowers that have these tender little petals, and they even have a masculine part, their stem. But you've got these beautiful flowers that are full of color, that bring variety, and that can have very, very fragile petals, but they flow, they can flow in a breeze, they can move and create all kinds of different shades and um reflections, and so you can see these beautiful, more masculine and feminine differences really, really well in nature. And I love nature. I am actually a trained forest and nature therapy guide, or they can call it sometimes forest bathing or Shinren Yenku. And you know, I have watched the forest come alive and truly be the therapist. That's why they call it forest and nature therapy, is because I just create the invitation, and then the person goes out with that invitation and has the experience with nature, and then they come back to what we call as counsel and share with us what they what they experienced.

Forest Therapy And Sensory Grounding

SPEAKER_00

And that is where we can begin to actually tap into our senses even more, which leads into that whole sensuality thing. But in nature, we can experience so much by seeing and hearing and smelling and feeling different temperatures upon our skin and sitting next to a tree and just feeling the energy of that tree. Trees actually, they've proven has most trees have a heartbeat, and I know that actually a lot of things in in nature can with the right type of speakers hooked to them, have this amazing symphony going on, and it's it's so beautiful to listen to that, which that's why we sometimes call nature the more than human world, and that's why in nature we can become so grounded and so present and feel so regulated, and so a lot of times in nature we can feel more aligned because we're in a place where nature is in its truest and most authentic way of just showing up for us, and it's in alignment, and I I would love to share, and I could share hours and hours of experiences that I've had with this very thing, but the point I'm wanting to get across to you is that alignment is true, is our true nature. It's intrinsically who we are at a spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical level. Um, it's it's our alignment with our true higher self and the being of light that we are. So, with this, I want to move right into another principle to embrace and value, and that is a vulnerability. Now, some people would think and some people believe that vulnerability is weak. It might represent neediness or weakness or um maybe uh childlike. But you know, I have found that vulnerability

Vulnerability As Feminine Strength

SPEAKER_00

is what literally can make us more approachable, relatable, and transparent. And that is more of a um feminine, divine feminine attribute that if we can embrace that, it really truly does create a synchronicity with our higher truth because we are nurturing, and I've talked about this in past podcasts too, we're nurturing our true identity, and the way that we can nurture our true identity is through vulnerability. So it takes vulnerability to let go of that guarded control, perhaps, that we may feel like we need to have to stay safe, and that armor that we have built up around our heart, and it's it can feel so unfamiliar to a lot of us who have not really been taught to do it any different, and that's why having these invitations to experience some ex to experience some body somatic types of experiences to help us move into something very different and very unfamiliar, and then there's also that pull to go back into the familiar where we know and we understand how that can work for us, and the unfamiliar can feel so scary sometimes, but just like when we truly receive and experience receiving in our body and our heart and our soul, it can be wildly vulnerable, and um even in relationship for us as women when we are in relationship with the masculine, because sometimes it's hard to let your full self be exposed and to let the masculine see all of you. We're so driven as women to be high achievers and lead businesses and teams and execute vision and make things happen. But most of us have that over-trained masculine energy, and it becomes a detriment to our relationships. And those very skills that make us brilliant leaders, high-top CEOs, just are not the same skills that ignite our men's impulse to love, cherish, and lead us. So I really encourage you to practice vulnerability because as we um that vulnerability can break down those walls and that armor that we have around our hearts and our bodies from hustling so much and holding it all together, and even carrying unresolved emotions and relationship wounds. And so here's what I want to also share with you, and this is also an analogy that I've been um very inspired to use in a lot of my sessions with women when working with them with these very concepts that I've been covering in these podcasts. And I'll say, okay, now realize that you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar. And that is like that whole uh letting go of that control

The Wind Versus Sun Story

SPEAKER_00

and embracing the value of vulnerability. But I I love this analogy that I use quite a bit. So let's say that the goal is to get the coat off of the man. That is what you would like to experience. That is what you would like to see happen in your heart of hearts, is to get the coat off the man. Force and control would come in and say, I can get that coat off that man. I can just blow so hard and use so much control and manipulation and nagging and bossiness, and even get angry and demand I can get him to take that coat off. And that's like the wind. And what happens is the man holds on to the coat tighter and will not release and let go of the coat. But the sun comes in and says, I will use warmth to warm the man. And at his own time and at his own rate, he'll choose to just take the coat off himself. Now it does take warmth, or it does take vulnerability to be in warmth and in receiving and these other characteristics and values and um principles that we've been learning about. But I love that analogy and I've practiced it. And I was just talking to a client the other day who recognized how she was using more of the wind, wind way to make things happen that she really wanted to see happen in her relationship. And when we were talking about this and how, okay, try warmth, try a little bit more vulnerability, and perhaps some light, more playful ways of talking to your significant other. And she was like, Oh, I can totally see how that would have worked so much better. And it's true, I've watched it, I've seen relationships literally shift and change quite drastically when women can just set this intention to tap into their truth and their alignment of their divine feminine. And it's like it's it's new, it's unfamiliar, I know we didn't I say this all the time, I didn't know what I didn't know in my past relationship, and I'm so grateful I found these principles and values and concepts to choose to embrace. And I'm still practicing them, but I'm I'm seeing that I'm getting a completely different result in my life, not only in relationships, but with my own um my own optimism and my my amount of gratitude and how I wake up just feeling different in the morning, how I even address tasks or things that do that I do want to accomplish because I'm going more from the I can do this and I can do it from passion and I want to do it from a place of passion and that I can and I'm able instead of all of this dreading of I have to, I need to, I ought to, I should, I'm supposed to, or the need to hustle for my worth and my identity. So I've kind of lumped a few of the things that I've talked about in the past in this, but I just really am wanting you to understand what it means to be in alignment with the divine feminine. Because being in alignment with the divine feminine is being in alignment with our truth, our intrinsic, innate truth, and then that can lead right in to authenticity, which is a higher frequency than even

Authenticity Plus A Vulnerability Practice

SPEAKER_00

love. And we're gonna get more into that in some future podcasts, but to live a pr to live your life from authenticity just feels oh so yummy and so free, and like you just feel safe to be who you are and express from who you are. And it's because it's we've begin to tap into those things that are in alignment with our truth. Okay, I hope this has been helpful for you and brought you some even more things to think about and to experiment with vulnerability. Now, vulnerability uh invitation that I have for you as far as vulnerability is this when you are having a conversation with someone to stop and tell them something that they that you truly appreciate about them and that you love and cherish about them, and then uh say, I love that about you, and I want to develop those traits for myself. Do you have some tips and some Advice for me to help me embrace what I so admire in you because sometimes it takes vulnerability to talk to someone like that, and that is something that I have learned to love to do is to champion other people and talk to other people about what I admire in them and then ask them: do you have any tips or hints or ideas that could get me from where I'm at to embracing that quality that I love and admire so much in you? And then listen, really listen to learn. That too takes vulnerability. That quality right there takes vulnerability because a lot of times when we listen, we want to listen to agree or disagree. And that's what's that's create creating war in our world right now is people are having a difficult time listening to learn, listening with curiosity. Instead, people are listening to agree or disagree with what the other person is saying. So you're you're opening yourself up to be vulnerable, to learn from that person. Rather it's politically or religiously or whatever, we're moving through that egoic part of us that really wants to be right, and we really want to get our point across, and we believe that what we think, feel, and believe in our perceptions are right, but man, could we get vulnerable and just listen to learn instead of listening to agree or disagree? So that's your invitation, and it's it actually can be kind of fun once you embrace that invitation, and and I would love to hear your feedback about this invitation. And with that, I am going to close this episode right now with some deep gratitude that you took time from your busy schedule to spend with me on this episode. And I I am still encouraging to check out have you check out my website at awakenedacademy.io.
