It's been a long time coming, and we've had we have had quite a while to sit with this as well because we we did this trip. Um, God, when was it? I know it was last year, 2024, July 2024. July, yeah. So we did that. Obviously, we put out the octagon hall episodes. That was our first investigation stop on the road trip. It culminated with Waverly Hills. Um But yeah, now we're sitting down, we're finally recording this. It is February. February 1st of 2025. Which oh, I just have to say, that's good connotation on the first of the month, you know? Like sitting down and doing what we love. Just bring in more of that energy, more of that vibe.

So yeah, I mean, it is interesting that it's taken us so long to get this episode done. We I mean, we've been all over the place. We've been very busy. We do two podcasts, we do investigations, we do lectures, we we do all this different kinds of content.

It's so crazy because I was literally just thinking about this yesterday. I was like, oh wow, our schedule's looking pretty uh barren coming up. And then literally last night I got the message confirming we're gonna be speaking um at an event in May. We're setting up now an investigation that I'm super excited about. We're gonna take another little road trip over. Um, we're looking at April, we have stuff in March, like where it's yeah, it's booking up now.

And that's why, like, as much as I love the Driscoll in Austin, I don't think we'll ever do an episode on it, you know, investigating because there's just it's like you can go Google it. You know, there's a million and one shows on it. I agree with that. And I mean, granted, you know, I do want to caveat that with, you know, yes, obviously, we're getting into doing Waverly Hill Sanatorium, which is, you know, one of the most haunted, like big places. However, um, in general, and y'all who have been listening for a long time, you kind of know this. I I prefer for us to find the like the little local places that aren't really well known and be able to bring those stories back to light.

Anyways, Waverly. The first I want to start with this though. The funniest thing, so when we we'd gone through this whole trip and Waverly was kind of like the end, right? It was like the the the finale. It's funny we show up and Waverly, as big as it is, and it is on its own big property, it's also kind of in the middle of a neighborhood.

Yeah, and we kind of like a golf course and shit. Yeah, we kind of we kind of talked about that and the history thing, and it it was yeah, it was interesting to get to, but so we make it there and well I just have to say, like, the the poor people that live in that neighborhood probably are so tired of like these cars constantly because we did, we went down a road, we're like, well, it was like the wrong road, I think, because we're trying to find it.

Because well, but we get there, and look, I'm not well, we did all get kind of it, it was a bit um it kept going on the the tour of like, and I get it, like they're trying to make sure that we know where everything is.

Yeah, well, we just want to go some, bruv. No, my big thing was you know how I am. Like, look, I'm a very social person. I like being around people, I like people, I like talking to people. I am not. Yeah, you you're not, but I um, you know, when it comes to this kind of thing, um, doing our research, investigation, whatever, our little adventures, I I don't really want a whole big group of people, people that I don't know, that don't think how we think, that that are just gonna bother me. And we are gonna talk about some of the stuff we saw happen there uh on the episode for sure.

But well, I mean, this is why I I think I've talked about this in previous episodes. If you are somebody who wants to do serious investigations for the paranormal, it just it is what it is. It just is difficult to do it when you are with a big group of people.

And and we showed up, and I didn't realize, I guess, how many of them already kind of knew who we were, and they're like, Oh my god, Damien and Nicole are here. And we're like, uh, yeah.

So we were excited to be there and do our own thing. And so that the whole tour is.

It's the swear thing she does. Shout out Donna for doing that, doing it like all of our lectures. She'll she'll bring the swear jar up. But we um we went through the whole tour, and I think there's a couple of interesting things actually that that happened.

Oh, yeah, because actually we so we don't have clips of these things. So let's talk about the stuff that happened on when we were just doing the tour.

So when we're on the tour, the big one for me, and this has never happened to me anywhere else. Now I've gone into locations and you you'll get a vibe, you get a feeling, you you'll you'll feel a certain way. Um, but never this instant. And this was was wild to me because it didn't. But it didn't just happen to me, it happened to, well, actually, Donna as well. Yeah, Donna. I don't know where it is in the place.

This was it was in the where the morgue is, where they have the little, you know, the like cooler thing that they would slide the bodies into.

We're doing the tour. We walk up in that room, and immediately, I mean, it I walk in the room and literally immediately You started But it wasn't starting to feel sick, it was like boom, right on me, and I felt like I needed to throw up.

Like, you know, like when you get that like that spit in your mouth almost, like because it's like Well, yeah, your mouth starts watering because you're literally about to puke everywhere.

To where I was like keeling over, and you're like, what the fuck? And then I look over and I see Donna doing the same thing.

Well, I think Donna did puke, actually. Um, but yeah, I want to say it, I think it was the room right next to that, like the body cooler. I think maybe the preparation room. Don't quote me on that. But um, yeah, it was interesting because that happened, and then you hear the tour guide say, Oh yeah, be careful because it this happens a lot. People will come in here and immediately start feeling really sick to their stomach.

And you know me, because of the way that I look at this and the experiences we had and the way that I think about what it is that we are interacting with here uh when we do this stuff, you know, I immediately start thinking, okay, well, I also know we're in a very old building here, right? And there are potentially things around, you know, i.e., mold, I don't know, that could get a person sick. But I I went down the rabbit hole and there's nothing that is an instantaneous Yeah, those aren't instant. Doesn't work. Like years. That's a wild thing to have happen. And then when we left that room, gone.

I think the only thing, if we were trying to play devil's advocate in terms of things that could cause something like that, I think the only things, at least that I can think of, and I mean, y'all out there who, I don't know, look these things up as well, let us know if you know of anything too. But um, those like the certain frequencies, you know, that can be played that we can't hear, but will make you start feeling sick, you know? I want to address this clip a couple things. One, it was a long clip. So for those of you that are listening, we wanted to point out that one of the things that we wanted to do moving forward with RGO is make this a bit more unpolished. Well, I want like you're there with us.

We do ours though a little different, and our results, in my opinion, are absolutely wild. So if you listen to that clip, there's a conversation happening back and forth. And this is how we do it, because in my thinking, what I am attempting to do is harness Nicole's uh sort of uh mediumistic talents, and that's how I want to use them because when she can get in that space and she's under the Estes method, and I'm the communicator, she's the receiver, and I'm asking questions, a conversation typically starts. The most profound piece of that clip we just played was you're under, you don't see what I'm doing, you don't hear what I'm doing. I'm literally, we're in a hallway. I'm trying to paint this picture, and there's rooms everywhere. Okay. Black, by the way. Oh yeah, black, you can't see shit. Um, and I'm looking in these places, and whenever Nicole will say, look left, I will look there. At one point, I do, I see an orange light, almost like a like what we call lightning bugs, but basically probably orbish, you know, in in nature. And you called that out.

I try to keep that flowing until we get something there because that's what's compelling. For whatever reason, you and I are wonderful at doing these S discussions. And that is, again, in my opinion, how we really show the nature of what it means when we talk about you and mediumship, and in my opinion, and sort of these abilities or these talents that you've that you've worked so hard on that people can learn from, by the way, if they just go to our Patreon and sign up. And um, but I love that. So we decided to keep those whole clips in there because we want y'all to hear that. Like, not only to feel like you're there with us, but to really see this wonderful connection that we make on these investigations to whatever it is that we're communicating with.

And so that, I mean, in my opinion, is pretty invaluable um in terms of, you know, I do think that it is a very likely possibility that probably in all of these somebody is going to notice something that we we may not have or put something together that we we may not have.

Um, but this was a very weird thing to have happen because you're under the session, you're answering these questions very uh intelligently, having intelligent responses, and I start getting these things kind of flying over me very fast, very quickly.

And everyone else was around you. Okay, Eric, Wayne, and Chelsea is I believe the the extent of the group. And I'm a little bit down the hall because I didn't want you to be able to hear me, which you obviously can't with the Estes headphones on.

So when you hear us doing Estes sessions, even though you can hear both of us clearly, Damien is usually way down the hall or like standing quite a bit away from me. So that way I'm not hearing him. Well, in this instance, it doesn't sound like that to you, but just know that that's that's what is happening here. So, yes, in this instance, you are way down the hall.

Okay, because it looks like a shadow that goes very quickly, and the size of it, I I think I compared it to Octagon Hall and the things we were seeing in the trees. But it looks about the size of something like that, but it goes right over your head. And but Eric and Wayne are right, okay. Like the amount of times it was happening-the size of what, like the size of a bat?

I'm like, no, because we gotta keep it rolling, but you'll feel or hear something that you're like, what is going on? And that was one of those instances, but it was happening a bunch. And they were flying over me. So if you can imagine something coming at you, it looks like it's coming from the ceiling, let's say, from the shadows, coming down at you and barely missing your head. So kind of like when we got dive bombed by the vulture on our way to well, basically, but that's why you see me when I'm reacting, I'm ducking.

And they would have maybe come back the other way. It was always just this one way, right? And it's interesting that it started happening as we're making this communication and we're seeing things like the light, which was a big deal, you'd just been scratched, okay, and these things took credit for it. Yeah, you know, whatever was coming through, and then that starts happening. And then as it's happening, and you say, That's me, or some something to that effect. I find that profound. And when we get to the next episode of this investigation, we're gonna tease a little bit of this.

They have scratched you, they took credit for it. They flew over my head, they took credit for it, danced with me, made fun of me. I love it. Um I just have to ask you before we end this episode, just those experiences off the jump. Now I know that you were under the session, but you know that there was the connection because we're having that conversation. You didn't see what was flying over me, but you felt and understood and caught and were communicating with seemingly whatever it was it was doing it. In your mind, what were we dealing with there? What were we experiencing there?

I mean, uh, all I can speak to at this point is what I experience being under Estes, but you even hear me say it a few times. I try to, when I remember to kind of describe what I'm hearing. And I think at one point I'm like, oh, it sounds like there's two women that are kind of having a conversation back and forth. You know, sometimes it seems like it's one spirit and I'm having a conversation back and forth with you. Two women having a conversation back and forth.

And it's interesting because a lot of times under Estes, you know, it'll be like multiple different voices coming through. But and I think this is something that I have I I I don't know, if you were to ask me, like, well, Nicole, how do I do that? I don't know. I wouldn't know how do you do that? I would have to really sit and think about it. But I think I've gotten really good with how often we've done this in, I don't know, in whatever form that it ends up being, I will be able to have contact with one spirit for kind of an extended period of time. So it'll be like the same, um, voice, I guess, coming through. And for anybody who has done Estes sessions, you kind of know what I'm talking about. Like you'll hear uh it's different voices. Like you can kind of tell when it's different people.

But what do you when you first put on those headphones, right? And whether we're doing a blindfold or we've got the GAN's photo, the mind machine goggles on you, whatever, what are you doing internally to get you and us to a point of that connection where you're able to seemingly without much uh trying, without really trying, to get to this point where you're communicating with whatever it is that we're communicating with? What does that process look like to you?

Well, I mean, to be honest, I think this is where it gets into like having a consistent regular practice. Like I meditate on a regular basis to have to get to a point where I have trained myself to have the ability to like get into that more meditative state. Let me touch on your point really quick. Because some of the most um effective, profoundest of sessions that I've been under, where I got some wild hits, what I said that was a hit that was like really on point, on par was something that popped into my mind, not an actual audio from what I'm under from the white noise. I think that's important for people to understand. You want to listen to both, but you know, you want to definitely hear audios coming in, but also people forget anything that just comes in your mind doesn't matter. It could be a a gorilla wearing a pink tutu, whatever. Say that because for a reason it came into your mind.

Yes, and so this is why when we talk about Estes, we're kind of likening it to medium shit because the way that we are doing it, we're being less literal with it and more like this is an exercise in getting you into that uh, you know, altered brainwave state, altered state of consciousness so that way can come through. Um, and so this will go something I literally typed this note during this episode that I want to touch on when we get into the down the rabbit hole episode is going more in depth on that because I do think that also some of these things um are just coming from like out our energetic connection, to be honest with you.

But I do before we end this episode, because I know that people that listen to this podcast specifically, one of the things that they really enjoy, right, that brings them back is your is the mediumship aspect, is is is you and those those talents. So I did want to ask, like what you were doing there for an Estes session and the way it feels, the way you're getting into it, the way that we're tapping into that, is that different in any way for you than how you are when you're doing a quote walk of a location that you've never been to that you're trying to pick up on history? And does the communication feel different as well? And again, we could touch on this on a down the rabbit hole, but I wanted to touch on this here because when people listen to these clips, on it, I'm gonna be honest here. If I was super skeptical, I would listen to those clips, I really would, and I would say she can hear every word he's saying, and they're making this up. Now these people were not here like everyone else was and could hear the static going through your headphones and knows what we're doing and knows that we're like legit people, but I wanted to bring this up so people could understand what it feels like to be able to connect like that and the difference of that versus you going into a place and picking up on things, doing a walk. Is it different?

Um, yes and no. No, in the sense that I'm still getting like in the zone, if you will, for both of them, trying to get into that, you know, I guess altered state of consciousness. However, I will say I am more so in that state under Estes versus when I'm doing my walk, because obviously I'm still like consciously walking around, you know.

Um and Estes puts you in that um what do you call it?

The sensory deprivation it yeah, sensory deprivation. But um so it's the same in that sense where I'm kind of, you know, like it's that more meditative state, right? I'm getting my logical brain out of the way, but it does come through more when I do my actual walks. But it's also interesting because the the information that I'm trying to get from both of those is also different. So, like in Waverly Hills, I'm not, I wasn't walking around trying to pick up on dates or trying to pick up on specific spirits and connect with them and give you a physical description and names and dates and you know, message, whatever, like mediumship essentially. I wasn't trying to do that because this is somewhere where the history is already so well known that is something where, like, sure, if I were to try to do that, even if we were to be like, you know, which I didn't, I didn't research the history before we went, right, you know, people are still always going to be like, oh, well, it's Waverly Hills, she knew, she knew all this beforehand, you know.

Let me take it here, and and again, this may be resolved resort uh we this may be reserved for uh our down the rabbit hole episode, but what do you think is more effective on getting information about uh a place, a sense of place and the stories of a place if you're able to make contact under these Estes sessions like you are with whatever it is, is that somehow better than walking around a place and getting a download of what you're getting when you do a walk?

No, I think if you want the biggest bang for your buck, you would need both. Because I get I get a lot more information and much more detailed and specific information when I'm doing my walk.

Because I'm that's what I'm that's my intent because I'm gonna do that. That's your entangling. When I'm doing Estes session, I'm not using it as like, okay, I'm gonna do a mediumship reading.

Um yes, but it's still, you know, even as you hear, you know, it's it's one or two words here and there. You know what I'm saying? Like I'm able to be way more detailed when I'm doing my actual walk.

But as we're doing our regroup, there was a another paranormal group that was there, it wasn't there, and there were these ladies, and they came into the command center just excited as shit, looked like a couple kids on Christmas morning.

And they're like, We've got a class A EVP, and I'm like, all right, what do you got? You know? And they played it for us, and I thought it was interesting.

Do that because the the the EVP was interesting because it was a little girl that came through and they played it for us. You could hear it very clearly. But anyways, this little girl's voice comes through on the recorder that says, Did I die? Just like that. And you and I looked at each other, like, all right. I mean, because we've gotten some wild stuff.

It's very clear. And I know that some of the people in our group, I won't name their names, were like, I think that they did that, you know. And I was like, well, I like to give these people the benefit of the doubt because I understand that these experiences, when they happen, you know, people Well, I mean, it's just like you when you are there in real time and you are witnessing people's in real time reactions, that says a lot.

So they either deserve a goddamn Oscar or they believe what happened and they did not fake it, you know, meaning, you know, one of them literally whispered, Did I die? You know.

These were people going into Waverly thinking about all these people that maybe died of tuberculosis, whatever the fuck, right?
