!Spoilers! Obsession Part 2 - Just a thought...

Hi there, this is Brenda with Brenda's Horror Movie Reviews, and this really isn't a movie review. This is just a thought I can't seem to get out of my head regarding the movie Obsession. A couple of days ago, my friend Stacy and I went to see the movie. She's from Let's One with Brenda and Stacy. We did a little review on it, just our thoughts on the movie. It is impossible to stay away from the internet, so I've seen some of the theories that the fans have, and one sticks out to me more than the others. You guys will know which one I'm talking about because even in the middle of the movie, I was telling Stacy I miss my cat. I read that the director has even denied this. He says it's not a possession, it's just a manifestation of Bear's wish. But it can't be denied that Nikki acts like a neglected pet. Bear was all Sandy had, and Sandy probably loved Bear more than anything. And Sandy probably would have still been alive if Bear hadn't been hopped up on Granny's pills, leaving them out and open for the cat to eat in the first place. I wonder if there's a bit of foreshadowing since Bear ended up dying the same way with the pills. Of course, people online think if you believe that Nikki's possessed by the cat, that you're stupid or slow, or you know, there's no way that could happen. Maybe since it was Bear's wish, do you think there is any way at all that just maybe when he made that wish and wanted something to love him more than anything else and the cat had recently died and was on his mind, maybe even if she's not possessed by the cat, something within the wish made her act like a cat. I swear I want to go back and watch this movie a second time and think of her as a cat the entire time. Cause I'll be damned, a lot of the stuff she did with her glowing eyes and waiting in the dark and waiting by the door and couldn't handle him being in the bathroom. That's how my cat used to act. And after the cat died, Bear put it in a trash bag and she actually went out and dug it up and made a shrine to this cat. At one point she even says she may have eaten a bug and sh the girl that she killed, she brings back to the house. And cats do that. If they kill something outside, they bring it back as a gift to their owner. We do know that Nikki, the real Nikki, can reach out every now and then. She actually at one point says, She's asleep, kill me. And the picture that she puts in the lunchbox says, not me. We did mention in the last episode that Nikki feeds Sandy to Bear by putting a piece of the cat in a sandwich and put it in the lunchbox for him to take to work with him. My thought on that is maybe that was the real Nikki and she's pissed. She's able to reach out, she knows what's happening, even though her mind is elsewhere most of the time and something else is taking over. Maybe this is her way to get back at Bear. I don't know. Maybe I'm just trying to make sense of something when it's not supposed to be made sense out of. I mean, the director has said that's not the direction that the movie was going. It's just kind of a wish gone wrong. I think Bear wanted somebody to love him so much, and I don't know. I think he was the obsessed one when I think about it now. You know, Nikki was just reacting and she was stuck in her own mind. My cat used to act crazy. I missed that cat. She was my sole cat. She was my baby. Her name was Gia Khadija, and she did a lot of the same things Nikki did. She moved weird and could walk backwards and hid in the dark. Um, when she'd open her eyes, they glowed. She would stand outside the bathroom door and scream if I didn't let her in. These are just common things that cats do. And again, Nikki was very cat like, childlike. I don't know, I just couldn't get this out of my head. So I went ahead and just put it here.
