Hey church family, we are so glad that you're here today. Whether you're joining us in person or watching online, welcome. We are thankful you're a part of our church. Let me say this: if you're visiting with us here today, you're an honored guest. And there is a connection card there in front of you in the pew. If you would take it, fill it out. That way we know that you're here today. Also, if you have a prayer request, you can put that on the back. Please drop it in the offering plate once it's passed by, and each one of those will be given to me after the service, and each one has been prayed for.

Good morning, church family. We're glad you're here today. We've got several things coming up, so let me share what's ahead. First, today during the morning service, we're celebrating Promotion and Graduate Recognition Sunday. We'll be recognizing children and youth who are promoting from kindergarten, fifth grade, and eighth grade, along with those graduating from high school and trade school and college. We're proud of each of these students and excited to celebrate this milestone with them today. Also, today it's the last Awana night for trek and journey. So be sure to keep that in mind for this evening. On May 20th, we'll have our Awana Awards night, and that's always a fun evening as we celebrate all the hard work from this year. Then on May 31st, we'll have our fifth Sunday services. During the morning service, we'll observe churchwide communion. And that evening we'll have our fifth Sunday night singing. VBS is coming up June 1st through 3rd, from 6 to 8 each evening, and we're excited about all God is going to do through that week. Our mission trip to Guatemala will be June 5th through the 12th. So please be praying for the team as they prepare and as the trip gets closer. And on June 27th from 5 to 8 in the evening, our toddler and nursery ministry will be hosting a Parents Night Out. Also, our ladies' Bible study will not meet this week, but it will start back on May 28th and will continue Thursdays at 6:30 in the evening. As a reminder, we're continuing to collect Operation Christmas Child shoebox items throughout the year so we can have a big packing party later on. During the month of May, we're collecting personal care items like hairbrushes, combs, toothbrushes, washcloths, band-aids, and small tissue packs. Please remember we're not allowed to donate toothpaste, soap, or shampoo. You can drop donations in the bin located in the back hallway. Thank you for being part of this ministry. We're excited to see how God uses it to bless children around the world. If you have any questions, please see Neil or Christy Walker. Also, we're looking for more volunteers to help with our media team. If you have any interest in social media, photography, videography, content creation, graphic design, or website management, we'd love to talk with you. We're also looking for more people who'd be willing to help by being featured in our five before videos. If either of those sounds like something you'd enjoy, please see me or Brooke after the service. Thanks for listening, and we hope to see you at some of these upcoming events. Now let's turn our hearts toward the Lord and worship together.
