The Warrior Medic
The Warrior Medic helps men find, name, and heal the wounds keeping them from becoming who they were made to be — as husbands, fathers, leaders, and men of genuine faith. We start with the wound, not with religion, and walk toward the only One who has ever actually healed it.

I spent forty years not knowing I was wounded. I thought I was fine. I was functioning. I was achieving. I was showing up.
But underneath all of it, something was bleeding. And everything I built was built on top of a wound I never named.
The wound doesn't always look like a wound. Sometimes it looks like rage. Sometimes silence. Sometimes a corner office and a marriage dying from the inside.

Hello, welcome to today's episode of the Warrior Medic. Here's the hardest truth I know about men. Every man is wounded, and most of us we don't even know it, and all of us are paying for it. The wound it doesn't always look like a wound. Sometimes it looks like rage, sometimes silence. And sometimes it looked like a corner office and a marriage dying from the inside. But it's always there, and it's always costing us something. The question isn't whether you're wounded. The question really is, do you know what it's costing you? I spent the first 40 years of my life not even knowing I was wounded. I thought I was fine, I was functioning, I was achieving, and I was showing up, right place, right time. But underneath all of it, I was bleeding. Everything I built, everything I thought proved I was okay, was built on top of a wound that I never named. But understand this, the wound doesn't always look like a wound. Sometimes it looks like rage. A man who explodes over small, insignificant things. He's not angry about what just happened. He's angry about something that happened 40 years ago. And sometimes, sometimes it looks like silence. A man who is shut down emotionally. He can't connect with his wife, he can't be present with his children, and he's not cold. He's protecting himself from something he learned to fear a long time ago. And sometimes it looks like a corner office and a marriage dying from the inside. A man who has achieved everything and feels nothing. But in reality, the corner office is a cage. And the marriage, well, the marriage is unfulfilled. And he's not successful, he's hiding. The bottom line, every one of those men are wounded, and most of them don't even know it. And all of them are paying a price. They're paying in their marriages, in their relationships, in the quiet spaces where no achievement can actually reach. And the question isn't whether you're wounded. You are. We all are. The question is, do you even know what it's costing you? Until you can answer that question honestly, healing cannot start. And that's what this podcast is about. That's what my book Forge by Fire is about. Not telling you what's wrong with you, but giving you the language for what you already know is there. The link to Forged by Fire is in the description below. And my story? My story is probably closer to yours than you think it is. And if you're ready to find out what this is costing you, hit subscribe because we're going to discuss things that you don't want to miss.
