SPEAKER_00

Hello everyone, my name is Chris Phillion Rose. Uh this is my gratitude journal for the 2nd of May 2026. So today has been a busy day. Um I had to do a bank shift at 9 Southwood Smith Street, which is in a Peabody service. So I've got two jobs at the moment. My first job is a principal coordinator for the NHS, then my second job is a bank support worker for Peabody. So I did a bank shift today between 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock. So I've only just literally got back home now. Um but today has been busy, but it's been good because I went into a new service that I didn't know nothing about. Um done my shift there, completed the shift. So that's a really good thing to know, and to know that I was able to support the customers in giving medication and support them on my shift and doing what I needed to do. So that's always a good thing to know I can do my job well and I can support the customers in peed body, which is a really good thing. I also learned today that sometimes I need to come out of my comfort zone and don't be afraid to come out of my comfort zone when it comes to um doing things that I want to do. You know, I have so many dreams and desires that I want to do in my life, and there's so many goals that I want to work towards, but sometimes I limit myself due to my limited beliefs and self-doubts. So it's important to realize, and it's important to learn that sometimes just going for what's important to you, um, going out of your comfort zone is a good thing. Obviously, you learn more and understand more along the journey, and I also learned that you know just being myself at all times, and um, you know, sometimes it's good to reflect and it's good to understand, you know, where you can improve, what you can learn from, and what you can understand, and you know, my journey's been a very long journey. You know, I've come from a lot of different life experiences from homelessness to uh um suffering, pain and adversity, to mental health difficulties, to diabetes, physical health problems, to learning disabilities, to a lot of loss in my life, a lot of pain and suffering and adversity. So I realize when I do do good things throughout my day, um, it's a really honourable thing. And today I know I can help other people give back and make a difference, even though I've gone through the worst, and even though my life hasn't been perfect, but um I think the work that I'm called to do is definitely helping other people, giving back, making a difference, and I have to focus on my call, and I have to focus on what's important to me, and also I realised as well like um Jesus Christ, Jehovah and Buddha wants me to contribute. You know, there's parts of my life that's meant to be contributing, helping other people, giving back, and making a difference, and focusing on what's important to me. Um, I'm very grateful for the work I do because I I get opportunity to help other people. I'm very grateful to Paul Doranton and Dr. Karen Michigan for helping me all these years ago in 2014 when I became homeless, and um just grateful to have the opportunities that I have because not many young people my age have two jobs and that can work two jobs and that can do it in a very effective way and manage their caseload and manage their work, so that's a death for definite win for me. And I'm learning that if I want something out of life, I'm gonna have to put in the effort to get it, and um it's not material things that I want because I'm not materialistic, but the things that are truly important to me, like my work in helping other people, my music, because I'm always a musician, that's the craft and skill that I have, and then my faith because of my spirituality and fate. So um it's important to learn as well that you know, no matter what you're going through in life, you know, you can move forward and just keep moving forward, keep doing what's right, and keep focusing on what's important to you, and um, you know, Jesus Christ, Jehovah and Buddha saved me for a reason. You know, my life could have been in a very different way to how it is now. So I know that it's a blessing to be doing what I'm doing, um, even though I feel a bit drained at the moment because I've had such a long shift. But I do feel happy that I was able to help other people, give back and make a difference, and just focus on the work that I've been called to do. So um that's my gratify journal for this evening, and take care now. Goodbye, thanks.
