Hello everyone, my name is Christopher Liam Rose. I'm an author, mentor, life coach, mobile visual speaker, evangelist, musician, and activist. Today I'm going to be sharing my gratitude journal for the 1st of the 7th, 2026. I'm just going to be sharing how my days have been today, my feelings and emotions, and what I've been doing today. So today I've been working from home today. I woke up a bit late today because I was a bit tired in the morning, but I was working from home, so I didn't have to commute to the work, which was always a beneficial thing and a good thing. Today, basically, a um contractor came to do my gas checks and my property, so I had to stay in my property to get that sorted out, which was okay. The gas in the property is fine, and the electric is fine on the property. So had to make shells in for that, even though the contractor came before the time, because I did say one o'clock, but he came at 11 o'clock, but um was able to do it and was able to check the gas and electric, or just the gas story, he was able to check the gas. Um I had a telephone conversation with an organization called Survivors UK, which is basically a telephone assessment and uh organization that helps people that have gone through abuse. So um had quite in deep conversation about mental health, homelessness, the fire that I went through, childhood abuse, childhood and upbringing. So it's quite an in-depth conversation. Um obviously I explained to the uh advisor that um yeah, I have been through abuse. Um I basically have to live with the fact that I've been through abuse. Um that's not a good thing to live with, and that has affected my mental health and my well-being, and also I've gone through partial traumas within my childhood and my upbringing. So it was quite an in-depth conversation. I did feel sad after I had the conversation, but I realized you know sometimes you have to be honest and truthful to share who you really are. So the spiritual life lessons that I learned from the conversation today was be honest, be truthful, be faithful. You are not you cannot lie about your past, which is an important one I learned. Suffering, pain, adversity is inevitable. Healing starts with honesty and trust. The way to move forward is through learn, understand life experiences. So these are some of the things that I learned from the conversation that I had, and um yeah, you know, it's quite an in-depth conversation, quite a deep conversation, but um I'd rather be honest and true about some of the things that I've been through, and hopefully I can get some support with it. So we'll see what happens and see what support is available. Um I paid my EE telephone mobile built today, so I had to pay a bill for my mobile, which took a bit of time, but I did that. Save some money in my uh pension accounts for my SIP account and my pension B account, so I topped up some money there, which was good. Um, I did some work from home, so like piss support referrals, emails. I didn't attend any meetings today because I was busy today, but um yeah, I had to just use today as getting things done that I need to get done, so I wasn't able to attend any meetings, but I did check my emails, I did check the piss support referrals, and um, you know, obviously um just managing my role as a piss support coordinator and the piss support workers as well, so I did that. Then I got my hair washed and braided from Abby's Blessed Beauty Salon, which is in Battersea. I normally go there to get my hair washed and braided because I have long hair. Um normally they wash it and then they braid it. So um obviously I went there today from 3 30 to 6 30. It takes about normally three hours to get my hair done because um I have to wash it, braid it, grease it, comb it, and condition it and shampoo it. So it takes quite a long time to get my hair done, but I'm happy it's done now. It's in a ponytail up style, um, so my braided hair, which is amazing, and it makes me feel good when I get my hair washed and braided. I always feel better once my hair's been washed and braided, so it's always a beneficial thing. And then some of the lessons that I've learned today is moving forward is the most important thing. I have to stay focused on my morals, my values, my beliefs, and my principles, and stay focused on what the mission I've been called to do. So helping other people, the spiritual music, and faith and spirituality. Um I learned that you can't control the past as much as you want to try and change it, you can't control the past as already happened. So all you can do is move forward, live your life in a way where you're learning, you're understanding, and learn from your mistakes because we all make mistakes. No human beings are perfect, especially me, I'm not a perfect human being. And learn from the mistakes of your past and just try to process and deal with it. I learned that healing comes from being honest and transparent with yourself and being true to yourself and living on your terms, you know, and trying to find the meaning and whatever you've experienced. So through my life experiences, I've gone through a lot in my life, but um the meaning always shows that you know there is faith, there is spirituality, and there's something to work towards and do. Um I learned that suffering, pain, and adversity is inevitable. It's definitely gonna happen in life, we're all gonna go through some form of suffering, pain and adversity. But what I'm learning is how you respond to it makes all the difference. And I also learned as well that my faith, spirituality, faith, and religion is the most important thing to me. So I have to make sure I stay in faith, stay in spirituality, stay in faith, stay in religion, and do what I'm called to do while I'm on earth. And um I also learned as well that God loves me even though I have made wrong mistakes, and even though I haven't been perfect, but God loves me as a human being. And you know, but the mistakes that I've made has also made me into the human being I am. So, you know, I have to be grateful, even though my life hasn't been perfect, that God still loves the person I am. And remember that when I do go through suffering, pain and adversity, I also learn that your spiritual responses changes your life, the way you respond, changes your outlook on life and your perspective on life. So just stay focused on what you're called to do and live the life the best way you can. So um those are some of my lessons. Um my plans for today is just to sort out my emails for my work, prepare for tomorrow, sort of a busy day tomorrow. I need to go to university to study. Um also as well. Um I've got a therapy session, my second therapy session with my uh therapist Carol Caroline, um, which I need to attend tomorrow. And um, yeah, I'm just gonna try and sort myself out for this evening, sort of some music, upload the journal of my gratitude journal today, and then try and clean up the flat and maybe do some meditation if I've got the time. So, yeah, that's my gratitude journal for today. Thank you for listening, thank you for checking out the podcast as always, and take care now. Bye bye, thanks, but
