Hello everyone, my name is Christopher Liam Rose. I'm an author, mentor, life coach, motivational speaker, evangelist, musician, and activist. Today I'm going to be sharing my gratitude journal for the 17th of the 7th, 2026. I've been sharing my gratitude journals every single day to process my thoughts, my feelings, my emotions, and how my day's been. So today has been a good day. Um I did wake up late today because I was feeling tired in the morning, but I did work from home today, so that actually helped for me to do my work at home and focus on what I needed to do. So um been working from home from about I'll say 1045 to about um five o'clock because obviously I woke up around 1020, 10.30 today, which is not like me, but um I was late to work today. Um and I'm always becoming late to work, so I know that needs to change. I know I need to work on that and improve that. Um today I've just been sorting out piss support referrals, I've emailed the piss support workers, I've spoken to some of the clinicians about piss support referrals, um, checking the emails as well as always, and doing my role as a peer support coordinator. I'm starting to realize that some of the referrals have been a bit slow and gradual when it comes to the peer support referrals. So I'm gonna at some point next week in the week after do some work with the Sutton IRH teams to boost the referrals and to the boost of peer support. So do more um be involved in more meetings, um attend MDT meetings and dire meetings, talk to some of the team managers about peer support referrals and referrals to the peer support service, peer support coordinators, um obviously that's me, and then the peer support workers and the peer care of peer support workers as well, and just try to bring up the levels of the referrals and increase the referrals because it has been a bit slow recently, and I have noticed that. So I know when things like this happen within a peer support service, you need to adapt to it and change with it. That's part of my learning and part of my understanding as a piss support coordinator. Um today I need to get ready for my bank shifts tomorrow because I've got bank shifts in the community for Peabody, so I've got to work, I think it's um nine to one o'clock at 199 at Present Lane, and then normally 2 o'clock to 5 o'clock at um nine 9.11 at Cola Street. So uh I normally go to East London to do my bank shift for Peabody, so I'll be going there this week and doing those bank shifts, which is part of my normal Saturday. Um I do work six days a week, and um that's what I've been doing on Saturdays for a long while now, a long time. Um today, also as well. Um I started a new album, so I've been working on a brand new album called The Spiritual Empire. Uh Rome Wasn't Built in a Day. Um, this was a quote that I got for I don't know where I got the quote, but I just learned it somewhere, and it's it's actually inspired me to make a whole album about it. Um, Rome Wasn't Built in a Day, so what that basically means is that anything that you want to do in life takes patience and time, so the good things can become great with space and time, and it's always good to be patient when you're working towards your dreams and desires and your goals. Obviously, I have no ambition and no materialism to chase any of those things, but I am passionate about my purpose and what Jehovah's called me to do and what's important to me, so you know, especially when it comes to your dreams and desires, and working towards it, it's gonna be a building block. Each stage you'll get better and better, and each stage you'll learn new things. So just develop yourself, grow, keep moving forward, and keep building the blocks. If you lay a brick every single day for 36 365 days, which is how many days there are in a year, you have 365 blocks that can build an empire or a tower or a wall or a building. So that's how it normally works. You have to build the foundations first of your life in order to reap the rewards of your life and to see the growth of your life. So that's what I meant by um the spiritual empire. Rome wasn't built in a days, so it's a spiritual album, and the message of it is that if you want anything great in life or good in life, you're gonna have to take your time and be patient and work towards it slowly and gradually, and then eventually you'll get there and become who you want to be. So that's the essence of the album. And I worked on um just a minute ago actually, two tracks for the album. So I worked on um the first track is The Spiritual Empire, the second track track is called Rome Wasn't Built in a Day, and obviously after I upload the journal today and um sort out the flat, then I'm gonna up basically produce the third and the fourth track. So I'll try and complete the album today while I've got a bit of time. I just wanted to make sure I did a journal now, so obviously, at least the journal's ready and it's uploaded, and um then I can work on more music later on today. There's no rush for it, but you know, I do want to complete it as soon as possible. It's a good album, it's a good um sort of quote to live by, so it's it's very important, and you know it's good. Um I also paid for my Dropbox bill, which was £77.40. Um, because obviously I was in arrears in my PayPal account, so I had to pay off that bill just all in one. Um, I do have the money because obviously I've been working quite a lot, so money's not really issued to me right now. So I've just paid off the bill, and now that's done, so I don't have to worry about it anymore. I did attend the dire meeting between 12 and 12.30 today. It went a bit over, I think it went to about 12.50 today because it's quite a long meeting, but um at least I attended the dye meeting today and it was good to see my team. Um, I brought some stuff from eBay, and I'm gonna buy some more stuff from eBay a bit later, some yoga stuff. So I brought um today on eBay hangers, 20 hangers for my clothes because I was running out of hangers, five earring studs, because I'm starting to wear studs again um and wear earrings again. So I bought some studs. Um the black hypnosis perfume, which is like a men's perfume that I buy, it's like a subtle smell, it's quite a nice smell. So I bought two of them today um on eBay, so that should be coming very soon. And I also bought a one butterfly earring, which was good, so um, I spent altogether about I'll say 39 pounds today, altogether about 40 pounds on these things, but you know, sometimes you have to treat yourself, and it's okay to buy things that you need and some things that you actually want. So I just thought well I had a spot spare money to do that today. Um, as normal, I topped up my tax relief, so uh my pensions of my tax relief, so I topped up 18 pounds 75 on pension B. So I did that today, so now my total value is four grand three hundred and twelve and nineteen pence. So one of my old pensions went through, it got transferred, so that's why I've got even more money than I had before. The aim is to get to 10,000 um pounds within my pension and just keep growing it and growing it and growing it. So that's basically the aim, and hopefully, I can do that because I put in money every single day, so it shouldn't be a hard thing to achieve that, and then hopefully I can achieve to 20,000 once I achieve the 10. So just taking my time, putting in money every single day, and it does add up after a while. I topped up my pension SIP account with Ava, so I topped up 18.75 tax relief, and now my total value is £847.57. Um, so normally I top up both pensions when I do it online, it takes like 10 minutes to do, and once I've done the topped up the pensions, it increases the value of my whole pension. So I've also got my NHS pension, which basically has grown tremendously because I've been working at NHS for over five years, so that's gonna be a lot of money that comes through to me as well, and um you know I'm just building at the moment, like it goes back to the album that I'm creating that Rome wasn't built in a day. I'm just building up my finances, building up my security and finances because it's important, and just continuing to grow, um, not just financially but spiritually as well. Um, I wrote some life lessons that I learned just today, just briefly on my journal, that I want to share. So, define your purpose and live it. So that's important to do, especially in life. You build your life and become what you want to be. So, everything in life gets built: your relationship, your finances, your friends, your family, your children, your possessions, your holidays, your food, your drinks, everything is a building process. So, learn to build your life and become the person you want to be. Everything that is great takes time and patience. That goes back to Rome wasn't built in a day. Everything that takes time is patience. So the greatness comes with time and patience, so just take your time. God's purpose for me is to create. I feel like God wants me to keep on creating and and building on my new creations. Life changes when you make choices and decisions. So normally, spiritual choices and decisions will change your life. So for me, one of my choices and decisions was to become a vegetarian, another one was to help other people, and another one was to live in faith and spirituality and do spiritual music. So life normally changes when you make spiritual choices and decisions. You have to be mindful about the choices and decisions you make. I'm also making choices and decisions to get my tattoos removed because I've got tattoos on my arm. I got my tattoos when I was a musician when I was younger, but now as I'm older, I started to regret the tattoos. So that's another spiritual choice that I made that I feel will be beneficial to me as well. So anything that you want to change in life comes from a choice and a decision which you should be mindful about. Um live your spiritual truth and move forward, very important. Happiness comes from within you, not outside you. So I do believe happiness comes from within you and not outside you. That doesn't mean you need something externally to have that's already within you. Learn and understand things you are interested in. Um, I'm interested in a lot of things, and um I need to obviously learn and understand things I'm interested in. Go from good to great will be your destiny. So I think my destiny is definitely going from good to great, especially from where I come from, from you know mental health difficulties and homelessness. I think my future is gonna be glorious in the sense that I'm gonna be helping other people, doing spiritual music and having faith in spirituality. So one of my destiny is to become good to then to great, so increase my influence and and increase my contribution. Life is full of spiritual life lessons, so be a student. That's a very important um message that I said to myself because um you know life is full of lessons, so be a student of life. Life changes when you change, so when you change, your life will change. Moving forward is a spiritual progression, so when you move forward, that is a spiritual progression you're gonna experience. No ambition, no materialism makes you content and gives you loving kindness. So I believe when you don't have that ambitious motivation or that materialism, you find the contentment and you find loving kindness, so you find that peace and love within yourself, and it's okay to still work towards your dreams and desires, but you're not ambitious to do it, and you don't want anything material to get there, so it's quite a wonderful thing to experience that actually. And then number seven of um no sorry uh seven, um seven spiritual practices is the key to spiritual growth. So I used to say there was five spiritual practices, and I wrote a book about the five spiritual practices prayer, meditation, mindfulness, walking, journaling. But now I realize there's seven spiritual practices that you can do. So prayer, meditation, mindfulness, walking, journaling, silence, and yoga. So the um seven spiritual practices. If I do the seven spiritual practices, I will grow spiritually, which is basically my goal. Most of my dreams and desires are all to do with my faith and spirituality and to grow as a human being and to basically transform my life in every single way. So these are some of the lessons that I've learned today. Um, my plan for this evening is just to sort out the flat because it's a bit dirty at the moment. I need to clean it up, I need to also sort out my clothes for next week. I also need to um do some more music as well, and then um get ready for my bank trust tomorrow. So I'm not gonna stay up too late today because I need to get up early tomorrow, so just focusing on just cleaning up the flat, doing what I need to do, and then um yeah, getting an early night's sleep. Um also as well, I am grateful to Jesus Christ, Jehovah, and Buddha for helping me so much to get to this point in my life because my life has changed in so many different ways. I'm still young and I'm still experiencing a lot of change, which is a beautiful thing. I'm grateful to my spiritual heroes, Paul Doranton, Dr. Karen Mitchigan, Christian Norton, Doug Hood Mills for being there for me, for guiding me and helping me in my faith and my spirituality, and just my self-development and personal development because my life has changed in quite a lot of ways. I'm able to have a podcast of my journals and my thoughts, my feelings, and emotions, and I'm able to have another numbers of podcasts. So I've got 10 podcasts all together, so you know, God has been good to me, uh, Jehovah's been great to me. Um, Jesus Christ and Buddhas obviously helped me, and then my spiritual heroes have guided me on this path. So, you know, I'm very grateful. Um, I just want to keep moving forward. That's my only mission in life to move forward. I think every day as I build the blocks, you know, keep building the blocks, keep just laying a brick, brick every day and watching it grow and grow and grow, then I'll become the person I need to be and do what God's purpose is for my life, which I believe it's helping other people, spiritual music, faith and spirituality. So thank you for listening to the podcast and the audio today of my gratitude journal. Um, I'm gonna keep making gratitude journals every single day, even though I've got a busy day most of the time. I always make time for the gratitude journals, and this is like a discipline thing that I need to do. So, thank you for listening. Have a good day now. Bye now. Thanks, take care, bye bye. Thanks.
