The Dreamweaver Podcast
Welcome to The Dreamweaver Podcast.
This is a podcast exploring the art and science of what it is to bring our dreams to life.
Hosted by holistic health practitioner, pain therapist & Dreamweaver founder Jesse Farmer, these conversations explore the relationship between health, psychology, purpose, spirituality, creativity and adventure, asking one central question:
What becomes possible when we organise our lives around love instead of fear?
Through solo reflections, conversations with inspiring guests, practical coaching insights and stories from an upcoming bicycle pilgrimage from Alaska to Argentina, we'll explore what it means to cultivate a meaningful life & become the people our dreams ask us to become.
Because perhaps our dreams aren't destinations to achieve...
Perhaps they're living relationships that invite us into deeper engagement with ourselves, eachother and life itself.
Whether you're navigating burnout, rebuilding your health, searching for purpose or standing on the edge of a dream that won't leave you alone, you are warmly welcome around the Dreamweave campfire.

Greetings! And welcome to the Dreamweaver Podcast. I am here with a absolute legend of a man of I've been uh very uh blessed to be acquainted with recently, Tobin Osuski. Is that Osuski, yeah?
SPEAKER_02Perfect. Thank you. Thank you for the kind welcome.
SPEAKER_00Oh yeah, you're so welcome, mate. Uh man, like load loads to talk about. Like uh first off, I'd just like to like to pre-frame this whole podcast with a freaking blessing for your project, which is it's just amazing. And I I've been benefiting massively from this beautiful food that you've been growing on your uh amazing corner copy of a land that you've that you've been creating over the last few years. Um, so yeah, I just just want to first off saying by saying thank you, because like I've been eating your food and it's just been bringing so much goodness into my body, and I would love to yeah, just just just uh like open this podcast and and talk about well, whatever you want to talk about, but I reckon, yeah, Jungle Temple, man. I'd love to ask what what's it all about? What have you been creating? Yeah, tell me all, man.
SPEAKER_02Sure. Well, thank you for the blessing, and I'm glad that you're benefiting from the work I've been doing here. Um, and also great to connect with you recently. So yeah, where to start, right? Um, so the Jungle Temple, for anybody out there listening, uh it's a food forest, like a biodynamic kind of permaculture style agro forest that I started in 2020, and I'm coming up on my six-year anniversary now. Uh, so it's been a test of patience and um my ability to try to learn something new every day, kind of breaking out of the calcification of the adult human mind, where sometimes we feel like we know everything in the world, and and this project has humbled me and taught me and continues to teach me every day that there's so much more to learn, and uh that I am just an eternal student of Mother Nature, we'll say.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, beautiful, man. Beautiful. Um what what is Jungle Temple? What have you got going on down there, mate?
SPEAKER_02Sure. So I have here just outside Parita, Costa Rica, um, Central Pacific Coast, I've been building um like what we is termed as a food forest or agroforest. So it's a very diverse ecosystem in a concentrated amount of space. I have just under three acres of land here. And for the past five and a half, almost six years now, every day of the week I try to, you know, curate a kind of ever-evolving painting, the way I see it, in the sense that if there's an open area where I can plant some type of pollinating flower or some type of fruit tree, or some type of medicinal herb, or some type of vegetable, that's kind of what the project revolves around. And it's since evolved into fruitfulness, metaphorically and and literally, uh, in the sense that my business, the Jungle Temple as a business, more than just like a fun project and food for us, provides me income from like a nursery. So I sell the trees, I sell the plants, I also sell the fruits. That's what Jesse was referring to a moment ago. That he comes once a week and picks up, kind of like what you would do at a CSA or like a farmer's market, just like a carton of food or a box of food or several bags of food, or in Jesse's case, bicycle worth of food every week, as much as he could transport. Um, so I produce the trees, I produce the fruits uh that come from all of the trees, or the you know, ground crops. And also I do tours. I host tours of the agro forest where people could come, sign up, and wander through the forest, kind of hearing about my history, asking questions about permaculture and growing food, and also foraging as they go. So whatever's ripe in the season that they show up, they can eat as they go. It's like an interactive experience where they're actually tasting the things that they're learning about, and also can leave and depart with bags as much as they want of the food itself. And then the next phase that I'm working on right now is renovating restaurant space so we can transform it also into a farm-to-table kind of cafe experience where after the tour, general people from the public can come in and have, let's say, a flexible menu of items based on whatever is seasonal and we can harvest here, and then a creative gastronomic experience uh that will be kind of curated by a chef or a few local chefs that I'll be working with. As far as, you know, we go into the property once a week, early in the week, we see what we can harvest, then we sit down together and we're gonna brainstorm on creating a menu specific for that week, what we're able to harvest. And then, as just a little side note, uh asterisk, people have mentioned that we should not change it all the time. When there's a favorite dish, we're gonna maintain that on the menu, and then everything else is gonna change, kind of like a chef's table at a fancy restaurant, um, week by week, month by month.
SPEAKER_00Dope. Absolutely dope, man. I I got I gotta say, like um my it's become my favorite part of the week, actually, going to see you because like the the ride up there is it's like it's like exciting, man. I'm like, alright, what's he got for me today? Because we're kind of doing a pick and mix of of you know what's white, what's ripe and what's available, and just the the whole process of coming, meeting, talking a little bit, collecting, seeing what's there, and then bringing it back home and just seeing my fridge full of this beautiful produce. But it's also like I I love this project with um uh each time I it comes back, it's a project in in a way, because it's just like right, okay. I've got this medicinal teas, I've got uh think of a way to put that all together, and then like the bananas are then constantly ripening, and then every time a new banana goes ripe, it's like uh it's just brought so much joy to me. So yeah, like like thank you. And and and a big part of it is is is uh what what like obviously like the food is amazing. I feel the goodness palpably in in my body. I I think I'm pretty sure that my skin has actually been changing since um since eating the food. I really noticed a difference. Surely um it's just like wow, but but it's also feeling your passion and your love for it, um, it's so palpable, so tangible, like and and just and you you know, because in in so many ways I see um our dreams as an extension of our love in the world, and you know, I I I come onto your farm and it's just like man, this dude's love is just everywhere. Like uh and it's it's true, yeah. Um I I I I've got so I've got so many questions, I'm not not sure where to go with really. Um I guess uh let's uh let's ask actually like um uh the the actually yeah the inception of uh of of Jungle Jungle Temple because I I know this is like a freaking really interesting story. So how how how did it how did it come to you to want to do Jungle Temple or what what inspiration came to you or like like what what what led to you uh essentially leaving uh Jersey? Uh is it Jersey or New Jersey?
SPEAKER_02New Jersey. Jersey's in your country, and we got the new one in the new world.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, yeah. I I I grew I grew up on Jersey Avenue when I was a kid as well, so we got a we got a Jersey team.
SPEAKER_02Full circle.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, what what brought you from New Jersey to Costa Rica?
SPEAKER_02Sure. So I just want to touch up a few things first that I'm really grateful that you mentioned that you're feeling better and you feel your skin is improving. That's absolutely the intention with all this. Um, kind of the seed that planted all of this to manifest was my father passed away of cancer very young. And I think I believe fully that it was because he was immersed in this system of kind of capitalist um food generation in the sense that these big companies they don't really care about our health and they're spraying things with chemicals and they're injecting things with antibiotics that might serve well for the food to be uh abundant for them, but then we're the ones that are consuming it and taking in all those poisons and venoms and carcinogenic things that you know are taking a human lifespan of what should be a hundred years and narrowing it down to 60 years, 50 years, and in other cases, creating horrible diseases in children at this point. So I couldn't really make an impact in New Jersey because of just the way the system was. So I was looking for a place, a country who had a philosophy and a mindset that was more organic and provided space and land in abundance that I could really cultivate my own grocery store organically. Like I don't use any chemicals here, I don't even use gasoline, I have no car, I have no weed whacker, lawnmower, nothing. We do everything with machete. Um, so there's an intimate relationship with the plants as well, kind of like you said, like it's um all of my love goes into it. So as we're working around the land, like I'm communicating with the plants just as if they were my dogs or my friends, humans. Uh and I just keep thinking of this. Um my real inspiration was kind of Willy Wonka in a sense. Like I wanted to build a place, cultivate a place that people would enter and they feel where they were having this somatic gastronomic, but also like transformative experience with the land and realizing what was possible with just a few simple techniques and ingredients that we've been using for thousands of years as humans, but we've kind of lost our way. Uh, so your reaction to how you're feeling and the experience that you feel when you're here is exactly the idea of what I wanted to do. Um, and just one other thing. I'm so excited because you just started. So every month there's going to be different foods that you're experiencing: mangoes and oranges and water apples and guava and all of these dynamic avocados, and it goes on and on. So hopefully, you stay in Costa Rica a long time and you get to taste all these different flavors that just come up naturally at different times throughout the year. So it's not always gonna be turmeric and ginger and plantains and bananas and the things that we've been doing so far, the dragon fruit. Every month it's gonna change for you, which I'm really excited to see your reactions and your excitement when you come, because that brings joy to me. Um, I really derive my joy from the happiness of the experience of people experiencing the work I've been doing here. Um, so all of that said, let's backtrack about 10 years now, actually, now closer to 12 years when my father passed away.
SPEAKER_00Can I just jump in? Like uh uh you it's it's inspired by Willie Wonker, so like you you know I'm gonna be coming for some Schnazbergs next time.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, well, I know what a Schnazzberry is, so the answer is no. Oh what? You cannot lick the Schnazzberry. God damn. God damn it. Yes, but funny. Uh if anybody doesn't know what a Schnazzberry is out there, it's an English term for something that's X-rated, let's just say that. Oh, is it? Oh, you didn't know that? Oh, I thought you were being cheeky.
SPEAKER_00No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, but in Willie Wonka, there's uh he makes Schnazberries and it's a wallpaper.
SPEAKER_02So what I heard in my research into that, or like it was like uh like an Easter egg in that movie, Schnazzberry was like a term in the 60s in England for a penis. Oh, damn.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I didn't know that.
SPEAKER_02I thought you were being cheeky. I'm like, you're not tasting a Schnazberry.
SPEAKER_00I thought that was a clean Willy Wonka joke. It turns out it's absolutely not.
SPEAKER_02No, that was that was a dirty Willy Wonka joke. He had what was it? Like the little girl in the sh in the movie was like the Schnazberries taste like Schnazberries. Or he said that, I don't know. But yeah, that's a dirty Willy Wonka joke there that people kind of went over their head, I think.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, whenever my brother's blatantly loads of stuff encoded in that film. Loads.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, so much. But yeah, I mean Willy Wonka in the in the book itself was like kind of a dark character, like he was this depressed, lonely guy that finally opened the doors and let these kids in. And you can even perceive it in the movie with Gene Wilder was that he was kind of snarky with the kids. Like when they were struggling and dying, he kind of was like irreverent to it. He's like, whatever, like it's his fault, you know, kind of thing. Um, so yeah, it was if you go back and watch the movie, you'll see his face when he says that. He's like the Schnozbury kid, like kind of in a creepy way.
SPEAKER_00Um so anyway, yeah, I'm I'm cool for the Schnazzburgs and Schnozbury's then. Yeah, yeah, sorry.
SPEAKER_02It's so funny though. I'm glad that you threw that in there because that's something that in the movie went over people's heads, and we used to say is like a funny term as kids, and then I learned later what it really meant, and it was just yeah, very, very ironic. But um, yeah, I mean, okay, so just getting back on the track. Um, like 10, 12 years ago, I think it was 12 years ago, my father passed, and I had a fitness-wellness center, like a holistic fitness gym of sorts that was named Temple Kinesis. It was kind of based on the idea of the Shalin Temple. If you're familiar with the Shalin Temple, it's you know philosopher monks, but then there's like warrior monks too, and they train in kung fu and martial arts and meditation and yoga. Uh, so the idea was to bring that consciousness to the area I was in, New York City, New Jersey. And it was very successful. It just wasn't something I was super passionate about. I kind of got kind of convinced to do it because of, you know, I had a very successful personal training career. I was helping coach sports teams and working with, you know, a lot of different communities, like uh dance communities, and and yeah, just very dynamic work. And then everybody was like, you should concentrate this. You would have a very successful gym, and they were right. And when my father passed away, I started to reevaluate my entire life and what I wanted to do the rest of my life. I just kind of saw it like, okay, he died at 64 years old. I think I was in my younger 30s at the time. And I said, if I have only 30 years left, I don't want to be stuck in a gym 14 hours a day, six days a week. I want to be out in nature, I want to be just really happy, trying to minimalizing the amount of hours and energy I was putting into a job or a career. And I had this indirect sense of mortality kind of rush over me through my father's passing. And I started diving back into the things that I really liked to do as a kid and that, you know, brought me the most joy. And that was wandering the forest, hiking, foraging for food, um, getting into like just more natural athletic things like climbing trees and things. So I started getting back into that and realized well, this is where people should be. We should be outside. We should not be, you know, training ourselves, training our bodies inside, and then going out and utilizing that. It could be a symbiotic relationship again. And it's around the time that these obstacle races, like tough mutter and Spartan races, started coming around. So I started getting competitive with them and uh realized I have to be outside. Whatever I need to do for the rest of my life, I just have to be outside in nature. I can't be trapped in concrete walls, metal walls. And so it started forming in my mind. I wanted to be somewhere tropical because I didn't like winters. Also, food grows more abundantly here. You have less to worry about. So I was between Jamaica and Costa Rica. I decided at some point, a couple of years after to close the gym that I was going to move on, and I started doing some outdoor programs, trail running and kind of like ninja warrior stuff in the forests of New Jersey, teaching people how to find fresh water, how to forage food and things like this, and then doing some meditation and yoga on the mountaintop, and people loved it. But then winter came around and I was like, all right, this is not sustainable in this area. So then I started writing some plans and meditating on some things, and then this is where the dreams come in. Let me preface this with I've always kind of had an innate ability to have lucid dreams. If you're not familiar with lucid dreams, look into it because everybody is capable of having them, and there's kind of ways that you can cultivate randomized dreams into more conscientious or conscious lucid dreaming. And that's not what we're going to discuss today, but I was getting into these things, studying different forms of transcendental meditation, and um it just started happening that I was having these extra vivid dreams. I was able to kind of wake up in them, recognize it was a dream, and kind of become more aware of what was happening. But I never had repetitive dreams. It was always a different scene entirely. Most of the time I couldn't recognize where it was. It's like a different plane dimension of reality. Maybe not maybe, I don't think humans at this point really understand our dreams too well. But it's important because it's you know 40% of our lives. I think we spend, you know, years of our life, if you look at the statistics, sleeping. So this is a substantial part of human existence, is dream world, dream waking life in the dreams. And it has a lot to do with how our life manifests, whether we're transmuting psychological things or traumas that we've experienced in waking life, or some people say dreams can be prophetic. There's a lot of validation and proof for that at this point. Um, we have a different type of access. Maybe out-of-body experiences can happen, astral projection things can happen. So I started taking my dreams a little more seriously. And then some weird phenomenon started happening where I would have the same dream in the same place repetitively, maybe two times a week, maybe a few times a month, to the point where it was like a big sign in front of me saying, pay attention to this dream. And at the time I didn't know what it meant. I had it for about three years, this dream or the same scene, because every time I was in it, I could go to, I had access to new places, like a video game almost. Wow. And I would keep exploring and I would keep waking up and I would recognize different buildings and different scenery and different people and interactions I was having with these people. It didn't seem like it had anything to do with my subconscious. Like I had never experienced this place, these people I had never experienced. And it got to this point where in reflection, I was like, I've never had the same dream twice, let alone 20, 30, 40 times. And this dream happened maybe 50 plus times over a period of three years. So I went to, I'm pointing at like vision boards and stuff. I went to an art supply store and bought like a big poster board. And every time I would wake up from this dream, I would draw the detail of the place that I was seeing because it felt significant. Obviously, in repetition, it was something that I needed to know. I still can't figure out the physics of it. If it was some spirit guide sending it to me, my father from heaven sending it to me from whatever plane of reality he was in, my future self sending it back kind of telepathically, like this is where you need to be going. I can't explain that aspect to you, but it got to the point where I was not only seeing like what buildings were in this place, but like I could gauge elevation changes, I could like really figure out what was in the buildings, I would go in these buildings and explore them. And and there was one specifically that it's it's ironic almost. I grew up in New Jersey. If anybody knows New Jersey, New York City, it's it's a very metropolitan place. We do have kind of country things like apple farms, apple orchards, and things like that, but it's not like Texas in the United States, where there's cowboys and there's rodeos and things like that. So there was one building in the stream that I kept entering and it was circular. And as I would enter, it had very high ceilings. And you know, I had been to circuses in my life. So I just wrote circus tent with a question mark on this building. Now, fast forward, I decided Costa Rica is the place I want to be because I got advice from a lot of friends. I had never been here before. So, right after the pandemic, uh the borders were closed. Everybody's aware of that. You couldn't fly to other countries. So in 2020, in September, the borders opened from the United States to Costa Rica. I bought a ticket expecting it to open. They actually pushed the date back a couple times, but I bought a September 11th ticket to Costa Rica, hoping that the borders would be open and everything would go smoothly. On September 1st, the borders opened. I got on a plane with two of my dogs from New Jersey and we were down here. Now I didn't have any of my possessions yet because I had shipped them earlier, like three weeks earlier, in a shipping container, and it was going to be on a boat, and it took like a month to get down here or something, and then had to go to customs and things. So when I moved to Costa Rica, I was here for two months. This was the first house that I wanted to look at because it had all the factors, the right size property. It had a bunch of buildings on it that I needed to renovate. So for my plan, this was the most viable for a food forest and a potential future business. I was living about an hour north of here in Jaco, if you're familiar with Costa Rica, Playa Hermosa. It's a more touristy area. So there's convenient restaurants and grocery stores, and you can walk. So I was living there for a couple months, and I was telling people I'm thinking of buying a house in Parita. And they would try to convince me not to buy a house here because there was no tourism. There was no like city where I was looking to live. Like Parita has a little city, but where I am is the campo, they call it like farmland. Um, so everybody was convincing me not to move here, and the reasons that they were using made me want to move here even more. Yeah. So it was like this ironic thing. I was like, well, I'm looking for something completely different. And I think you're trying to sell me away from this, but you're actually selling me towards this. So the place I was staying was this small resort in Faya Hermosa called Cabinas Brisa del Mar. And the owner was kind of retiring at this point. His son was in his young 20s, he was taking over. And he asked, because I was the only person there, he goes, Do you want to go to a waterfall about an hour south south of here? I said, Absolutely. I'm just like always down for a good adventure, and I love waterfalls. So he starts driving here, and I realized it's only a few miles from this house I was going to look at. And I said, You know what? Can you just, after the waterfalls, drive by? I just want to see the property. And coming into my neighborhood, you got to go down this little hill. And I could see the entire property and the forest behind it, undeveloped, just native forest. And I fell in love right away. And I was like, that's all. I was like, okay, we went back to the resort. I called a realtor right away. I said, I'd like to go look at this house. When can you come? He was obviously free because there was no work then. He came and picked me up the next day. We came and visited. As we left, we were driving back to the resort and I said, make an offer. I said, That's the house. I don't have to see anything else. Something just felt right. And um so fast forward a couple of weeks, I closed on the house. I'm living here, it's it's my own home, it's my property. Part of the dream has come true. As I said before, I didn't have any of my um, what do you call it, belongings? I only had a couple of outfits. I had a couple of books that I brought in my carry-on when I came to Costa Rica, and I had this poster board that I had folded up that I was carrying with me because I kept having this dream. And I thought, if I'm gonna have this dream again, I just want to keep adding detail to it. Not realizing as I unfolded this one night because I had nothing to do, there was no internet, I couldn't get anything on my cell phone. I already read the books that I brought like three times over, and I was just sitting on a couch board, basically. And I said, Let me just look at everything I brought. I unfold this poster board and I got this almost eerie feeling over me. And I said, This is weird. Because in the center was this building that I was now sitting in. I had walked the neighborhood hood a few times, so I knew where the other houses were and buildings, and I'm lining these things up, and I was like, This is this is weird. Like maybe I'm hallucinating this, maybe it's uh what do you call it? Paradolia, maybe I'm seeing images in clouds, like I'm imagining this. So the next day I went into town to get internet service and to you know do some work. And I went on Google Earth and just screenshotted this neighborhood. And I came home and I was looking at the poster board again and comparing it to the screenshot of the Google Earth image of this neighborhood, and every single thing lined up. And and the funny part is that circus tent that I thought I was entering turns out to be a rodeo. The neighborhood I live in is like huge cowboy culture. There's bull riders, most of my neighbors still ride around on horses, they they herd their cows, they use that as their daily transportation. My direct next door neighbors, right now, are like five horses just hanging out. So this is something that was brand new to me, but then I realized this circus tent was a rodeo, and it just blew my mind. I was like, what just happened? I I still can't, like I said earlier, I can't explain the physics behind how this dream kept coming to me and then how it led me to this property. Um, so there's the story of how this came to be the mystical, metaphysical, but also realistic side to it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, thanks for sharing, man. That's so wild. Like when when when you told me that, I was like, what, how is this working? I'd love to, you know, it'd be really interesting to try and figure out what's going on there. But I think it's one of those like life's mysteries that maybe isn't meant to be figured out. But I've I've I I find it so interesting how um, you know, because you you're building your dream now, and and and you know, you're immersed in it, you're you're living it, you know, and and it's so interesting how that impetus uh or that inspiration literally came through your dream. So it it's kind of like that, like there's all sorts of like um I kiss like potential connections there. I wonder, you know, if this is like a message from the soul, or as you say, your future self, or whether there's like some scientific explanation. It's it's it's like this there's so much in there, you know, because like these dreams directly l led you to living your uh life purpose in probably the most specific way that I that I've heard. Um I've I've actually um I I've I've got a book that I'm reading. I'll um I'll I'll lend it to you um once I'm done with it. I think you'll you'll really dig it. It's it's called uh precognitive dreaming and the long self.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. Exactly.
SPEAKER_00Some of the stuff I'm reading in there, man, is is saying that um it so it's this guy who he who took like 20 years of dream um diaries and then sort of started to see that actually his dreams were prophetic and that he was like dreaming funny things about the future, and uh and he hypothesized that um at least a quarter of our dreams he reckons are precognitive.
SPEAKER_02I would agree, absolutely.
SPEAKER_00Why it's like it raises some really interesting questions around free will as well, and uh and and and fate, because it's you know we're dreaming the future and then it happens. It's like how much free will do we really have, you know, and and uh it's it's just uh it's such an interesting um thing. Um but yeah, I mean I to put it to you, like what what do you think our dreams are? Where do they come from?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so I many years ago, uh if anybody knows my story or kind of looks up my YouTube channel, Togon Osuski, I I have no problem sharing these things. I you know, I'm not a I don't want to be a mysterious person, I want to share my story because there's other people that may resonate with this, like this gentleman, this book you're reading, precognitive dreams. Like that's exactly what I was having at the time. And I'm not the only one, he's not the only one. There's a substantial for you know portion of humankind that has these abilities. And it's the way I say it is like some of us are innately good at something. Like some people are savants on piano, some people are savants in football, some people are savants painting, uh, with mathematics, with memory things, but everybody else has the potential to train and work their way to have skill in something. This is just how life works. But some of us are born with innate abilities that are just expressed at almost their full potential. So maybe some of us have these prophetic dreams. Like there's mediums out there who apparently speak to spirits in other dimensions. Like, I don't deny it at this point. I maybe went in skeptical to seeing these things at first, and then I started to have certain experiences of my own, not seeing spirits, but having premonitional dreams, you know, precognitive dreams and things like that. I'm like, okay, we do have these extrasensory abilities that maybe are evolving with us. Uh, maybe they've existed since the beginning of humanity, and we've kind of lost track of them because we're so focused on externalized technology and things. Um, because these dreams really started happening when I dove back into nature, like I was saying earlier. So I was connecting with the earth, I was connecting with my inner child in ways that I had lost track of for many years, and that's when these dreams started happening. Wow. Many years before, I was in a really bad car accident where it was like a serious near-death experience. I had an out-of-body experience, I broke my neck, my back, I had second and third degree burns all over my body, I had a 14-inch laceration on my head. I was essentially scalped, and I had to heal myself from that. When all the doctors I was seeing were telling me I would never be able to walk again, I would never be able to use my brain the same, my memory was gone, and I should just give up on it. And and all of this stuff came back. I became a Division I athlete after that. I played football and basketball for many years after. I was an elite athlete with the Spartan races and obstacle races. I owned a gym. Like they were all wrong. And the way I envisioned it when I was healing from the accident was I needed to speak to all of the traumatized cells and tell them it was going to be okay and give them belief and faith and confidence that we were going to heal, but it was going to take time. And we had to do it one by one and creating those connections, just like you're building a house. You don't just snap your fingers and build a house. You do brick by brick by brick, and eventually you have a big, beautiful structure. That's how I envisioned my body healing itself, my mind healing itself. And that led me down this avenue of studying quantum mechanics, quantum physics, speaking on the cellular level and the subatomic level, consciously with my kind of macro mind, and almost integrating consciousness into my cells the same way you would with your hands. Like I want to learn a new skill, like basketball or writing, or writing with tooth hands, two hands, different things, backwards, and these are or playing piano or playing guitar. We are telling our fingers, do this. But we can also, since our cells are inside of our body and there's a neurological connection to everything, we can go on a deeper level and we can speak to a deeper sense of reality or a different dimension, kind of like Wim Hof, how he does this two-mo meditation and this breathing technique, and then all of a sudden he can control his heart rate and his blood pressure and his inner temperature and teach people how to do this. It's not something so advanced, we've just kind of lost track of it, or not everybody's a monk in Burma and Tibet. So we don't have the time to focus on these things, but they're all possible. And quantum mechanics teaches us that our minds can will almost photons to move in different directions. And there's these experiments that, like Stanford has done and Princeton has done, and probably MIT and all these higher-end universities, Cambridge and Oxford, that they're doing in their physics departments that they're not necessarily sharing with the public. I know the CIA, the government agency in the US has done studies on these, and through uh Freedom of Information Act, they've released these publicly. They're not going to send them to the news stations to be published this, but if you look in and you do your research, you can find all these techniques out. The Monroe Foundation has the hemisync thing where you can kind of sync up your two different hemispheres of your brain to resonate the similar frequency, and that opens us up to new realities and abilities like astral projection and remote viewing and self-healing. So I got into this just by like accident, literally, an accident led me to this realm of quantum mechanics. And just to go back to the dreams, what might be happening is uh a part of quantum mechanics called quantum entanglement, where any place in the universe, any two points of the universe, however close or distant they are, are always connected, free of time and space, and that we can almost deliver messages to anywhere else in the universe. And like thinking not just in a three-dimensional, but like in a vortice where time is a part of that, like a four-dimensional or fifth-dimensional reality, where if we're a photon, and this is how Einstein discovered E equals Mc squared and the speed of light and things, he actually envisioned himself, he did a thought experiment where he said, if I was a photon, what would my reality be like? And he did this meditation so many times that he was given the formula for the speed of light by imagining himself as a photon moving at the ultimate pace possible. And this is how a lot of quantum uh mechanical physicists figure things out. They have these visions, and then that vision teaches them the mathematical formula to manifest and teach other people, which is so unique. Not many people know that's like where Einstein's idea came from, was he imagined himself as a photon. Now, modern quantum mechanics says a photon is free from time and space through quantum entanglement. A photon could be anywhere and it can move as a wave or a particle and it can change form at any given time. So maybe what's happening in these dreams is that there is an aspect of ourselves, each of us, every one of us, whether it's like the divine aspect or the fully manifest aspect, or maybe we are, like Hindus say, just like drops of water in a big ocean that is God and is reality, uh Brahma, I think they call it. And that there is technically no time and space. Our senses perceive time and space to keep us in some type of regulated matrix that allows us to go from you know child to adult, or from traumatized to healed, or from you know raw material to refined architecture. But ultimate reality, like a big R reality, there is no time and space. It's just almost an illusion, a very advanced illusion that allows us to maintain our consciousness in this 3D reality, but in the true reality outside of our physical form, time and space don't exist. So these thoughts, these dreams, they just exist because time doesn't exist. So it's not my future self, it's not my higher self in an alternate resonant frequency or dimension. It just is. So this plan just is. And Nikola Tesla once said, we're all antennas. Like our egos tell us we're this special human with this personality and this. Ultimately, we're not. We're just antennas for frequencies. Like you're listening to me right now because there's a sound vibration resonating in a language that you understand, and you're an antenna receiving that and interpreting it like a satellite. Not to take away from everybody's personality out there, but ultimately our personalities will not last beyond our lifetime. We will go back to the energy forms that we started as, and our bodies will compost into the soil and regenerate. Like we say, we're stardust. So we are, you know, our egos tell us we're concrete things in reality, but as you're finding, the food you eat can influence how that concrete form changes month to month, week to week, day by day. If we're drinking toxicity and eating toxicity, our consciousness is going to appropriate that in our body, and toxic things are gonna start to form in our life, toxic relationships, toxic habits, toxicity in our body that's gonna create disease and dissonance. But if we're bringing good things in, it gives this antenna more of an opportunity to find some type of like harmony state. And then we become open to receiving more of the messages that are being sent to us from alternate dimensions, from the source of reality, perhaps. So it's like we're clearing a pathway um for these dreams, these ideas, these realities to manifest here, if that makes sense.
SPEAKER_00Yes, mate. This was the most juicy, satisfying quote answer to that question I could have ever imagined. There's so much, so much there, man. Matt, I had no idea about um uh the the accident that you went through. Like that that must have been freaking hairy in terms of the recovery, and and you your story reminds me of um uh that of uh Dr. Joe Despenses because he um very similar. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And and like man, and I I I I know a person who also um he fell off a balcony many years ago, and um uh as with you, Dr. Joe and my friend, they're all all were told you'll never walk again, like give up essentially. And uh all three of you managed to essentially cure yourselves through meditation and communication with the body, which is freaking wild. It it raises so many uh question marks if um if if if you just um you know pertain to Western allopathic approach, and you know, there's there's there's so much more to us than than um than than we think. And um, you know, I got this really, really uh wonderful uh feeling of of the nature of us through through how how you're speaking and um and just uh just really feeling how we are this collection of um collection of particles that are actually like more space than nothing. So you know we're more space than nothing. Alright, well maybe maybe that when maybe we're a little bit more malleable than we think, you know?
SPEAKER_01And oh a hundred percent, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and and it it's it's just um it's it's so um amazing to hear that that is your journey, and um also as well, like uh I got got the uh impression of some a realization I had a while ago was like that quantum mechanics, spirituality, science, mathematics, religion, you know, these are all actually different modalities who are all trying to essentially describe the same thing, but in their own in their own way and within their own lens. And I think we're in a really exciting time right now whereby there there is this um this fusion of science and spirituality coming together, and and it's it's it's so exciting because the pyramid reaching the peak.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, and and what people have thought two sides of the four sides of the pyramid all reaching the same peak. Yeah, symbolism of a pyramid.
SPEAKER_00No, absolutely, and and and you know, and for so many people thinking for so long that actually science and spirituality have been these opposed things, or an actual fact. They're they're as you say, they're they're they're joining the uh the pyramid and coming together a lot a lot more, and um, I think it's a really exciting time to be you know alive and kind of in this frontier of of this happening with all of these new healing technologies come in, and um but uh it it's also our original technology, man. And uh it's just amazing how you know this this this uh trauma was a uh was a gateway to uh unlock these abilities. And you know, I've heard of lots of people with lots of different abilities. We're we're all like X-Men, man. Like it's true, absolutely. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02And I think the point of a podcast like this and messages and conversations like this is that anybody listening, you don't have to like will yourself into a trauma. You can take the wisdom from what I've been through and from what these other people have been through. Like Joe Dispenza, I know, does like workshops and sells books and stuff, which means tens of thousands, if not millions, of people can benefit from the wisdom without having to go through the near-death experience. So, like, don't think that you need to have this psychedelic, like ayahuasca purging experience, or you need to go have head trauma or like, you know, break your back or something to have these realizations. Just look into the things that we're discussing and then apply it to your own life so that you can almost take a shortcut to the higher consciousness that you were destined to have. And that's, you know, we almost were like the sacrifice. Our souls decided we need to sacrifice ourselves so that we can extract these wisdoms, maybe these ancient wisdoms, these things that come in cycles time after time, uh, to just remind everybody else that like you can do this without suffering the traumas or whatever trauma you have been through, we all have different degrees of trauma, that you can transform that into your ultimate reality, as we were saying, like the uh the peak of the pyramid. Um, and just to comment on that a little bit, it is a very interesting time because, for example, the Steven Spielberg movie that just came out, Disclosure, the fact that a lot of government agencies around the world have people that are whistleblowers now saying that you know there's there's UFOs or higher technology, and there's all this different stuff that they're hiding from us, free energy and unlimited energy. I personally don't care about aliens or UFOs or or you know, any of that type of stuff. Be cool to like interact with that at some point in the future, but it's not like a focus. What I love is disclosure that whatever's been hidden for some reason by select corporations or the government thinking that the public was not ready for this, the fact that it is coming out through leakers and whistleblowers or just verified like um congressional disclosure and them having these conversations, it's upgrading our consciousness that everybody that's witnessing this realizes wow, there's more to reality than what we thought there was. And that's that's that crescendo, that's that spirituality needing science at the top. I think disclosure is not necessarily gonna show us, hey, there's alien species from distant planets walking around with us. That's not the important part. The important part is accessing some type of cosmic consciousness where we're we're aware that there's more than just us, that we have to be these good citizens in this world, and that you know what we do affects everything else in reality, that there is this kind of quantum mechanical aspect to our thoughts, our words, our emotions, and our actions, and that that can either resonate for the benefit of the future or the detriment of the future. And I think a responsibility is gonna come in on the individual sense that, okay, I'm responsible for you know the my behavior that's gonna affect everything around me for the rest of my life and every moment. And that's what I love about this disclosure is it's like you mentioned, bridging the gap or connecting these two realms that were previously separated, but also empowering individual people to say, yeah, no, if I have a dream, I had that for a reason. And if I'm making my dream come true and it's benefiting other people, it benefits the whole of reality, and we can all grow to a place that maybe we hadn't acknowledged was possible before.
SPEAKER_00I love that, man. Yeah, thank you. That's uh yeah, such an inspiring riff there. And yeah, I mean, I you know, I truly believe that each person has a dream within them, some some kind of whisper from the soul that wants to be lived, wants to be birthed. And you know, I I I really, really feel this. And and you know, I think that um the percentage of people who actually uh put into make make their dreams into a reality, I I I think is uh very, very small because we have so many things in the way, it's all of the internal stuff, and then the external um logistics of creating it is often you know a massive hurdle. So once we've overcome all of the self-blocks and the low self-esteem and uh the the things get that we getting our getting our own way of, uh then we've got like the um the the challenges to actually create it. So it's it's a big thing, but um but but I really think that um when we do follow um this current that this current of desire that wants to be lived, we are somehow tapping into something else. I I really feel that we're like we're we're we're in the current of consciousness, we're with God, we're with gods, however you want to look at it. And and you know, when we're kind of in that slipstream of life, uh through following our heart, and it's like slipstream of love, we you know, you must must have had it. I I haven't had it a lot recently where by just flow, you meet people, ah, the exact person I needed, or or you you get something happen, and it's just like, oh my god, this is mind-blowing, and it's all kind of easy. Not not to say that that creating your dream is easy, because I also believe that whilst you're in this slipstream of bringing this life that is meant for you to you, which is uh a way to engage with love, I also believe that you're signing up for a lot of challenge because you know, through entering and entering and engaging with that dream, you sign up for growth. Uh and I man, you you you must have grown a lot um well through all of the stages of of you know what I've heard about your life. Still, everything is still yeah, and and and it's it's nice because like like your your current growth is with the growth, you know, and and like literally growing these beautiful creations. Um and I I did did did you what what is it about growing, like the essence of of bringing something to life um that that really really gets you like that like because you you know you dedicated the last five years or six years of your life to literally like growing this beautiful fruit farm. Like what is it about growing or nourishing or like like what what is it about about um that that that really makes you passionate and and how would you describe the essence of bringing or tending, stewarding the land and bringing something to life through it?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so I think growing trees specifically, any type of tree can teach us as humans exactly what we're supposed to do here on earth. So if I can impact the listeners in any way beyond like the you know extra-dimensional and quantum mechanical stuff that we've discussed, is just go out and start planting something, plant any type of tree because it's gonna teach you more than you've ever been taught by any human. And obviously, we're in the time on earth that there's a lot of destruction of the planet, so you're also benefiting future generations forever, long beyond your death, that tree is gonna last and provide shade and sustenance and bounty for future generations. But the symbolism is that we plant something as a seed, and that eventually can grow up to create an ecosystem for multiple species. It can grow food, it can grow medicine for generations to come. And that's how we should be living our lives is that we have this seed of divinity, as some people would say. This uh this cultivate and we need to work with, we need to show love to, we need to hydrate it, we need to provide the right fuel for it to grow, whether the fuel is physical fuel, like good food and good nutrients, or it's spiritual and emotional fuel, like thinking kindly upon ourselves and recognizing when we're doing something wrong and correcting it so that that tree can grow into its full potential. And we each of us have that within ourselves. And I think we complicate things because our human mind is so focused on so many different things that I always say my my role model, my my admiration goes most towards trees because they have a singular purpose in life. They spread their roots to get a stronger foundation, they they integrate with the planet and they grow straight up to the sun as much as they can. And when they grow big enough, they can spread out branches and provide comfort for every other being around them. Whether it's food that they're dropping, whether it's just shade that they're providing in a hot day, that all the animals could come there and feel safe and feel loved and feel, you know, humans love trees, we magnetize the trees, we hang hammocks on trees, that's where we want to relax. Uh, if you know the story of the Buddha, he gained enlightenment beneath a tree, meditating under a tree. Like it's so deeply important that every human get out and work with some type of tree with whatever space you have. If you don't have space where you live, like behind Jesse right now, if you live in a city, go to a park and plant a tree. Nobody's gonna get angry at you for that. But just find ways to understand the importance of this, not just externally, but how it affects you internally and how that process is gonna teach us how to grow within ourselves. Um, I just wanted to touch back. That it's a very good question. The the trees are my inspiration, and I feel like I'm probably the luckiest person on earth to be able to work with them every day, and that's now become like a sustainable career for me. But to be able to share that with other people and to see other people, I, for example, have a volunteer here right now who's studying these things in university, and this is her first time visiting Costa Rica, and every day we're working with the land. And I'm hoping that in a few years I see her growing food forests all over Mexico or wherever she finds herself, and and inspiring the next generation and even older generations to get out there while they still can and do these things. And and you know, it's like wave rippling, right? That wave can go infinite. As long as it doesn't hit a shoreline, that wave will ripple forever. And and some of these little things that we do can impact the rest of history throughout time. Now, I just want to go back to something that you were mentioning. Um, like we're we're not really sure how to make dreams come true and this and that. It's kind of one foot in front of the other. And what I found is that when we keep stepping in that direction of the dream, this the ground shows up underneath you. It might feel scary, you might feel you don't have the resources, uh, you might at times be at your bare minimum with energy and money and faith and patience. But as long as you keep walking, the universe seems to always send ground for you to stand on and sustainability for you to work with. And something I heard recently is actually it was like an Instagram, one of those stories, like 12 pages, and it was about a Russian physicist. Now, this is ironic for me because the only reason I ended up here in Costa Rica is because it's like the Russians during USSR invaded Slovakia, and my father had to migrate and escape to the United States, and then trouble was happening in the United States with the pandemic and the politics and the poisons, all and the food and stuff. So I migrated here. But now I'm back to okay, this Russian physicist, quantum physicist, uh, kind of found the secret to reality at some point, and then he disappeared from the public eye forever after it. I don't know his name, but you can look up Russian quantum physicists who said something like this. He he discovered and he had kind of proof to some degree that we exist, a part of us exists in infinite dimensions all over reality, infinite parallel universes, and that we are intimately connected to all of ourselves through some type of quantum entanglement, telepathy, whatever it may be. And that at any given time, we can make one decision that changes our path forever. Before I get into that really quick, in nature, water, for example, we live on a planet of water. As humans, we are mostly water, like you said, empty space, but physically we're like 80% water. So we resonate with the frequency of water almost more than any other element on planet Earth. If we don't drink water, we don't survive, right? We can survive weeks without food, but we can't survive days without water. Water always follows the path of least resistance as it's flowing down a mountain. It doesn't try to blast the rock, it hits the rock and it goes around the rock and it continues to its goal, which is the ocean eventually. This physicist said this is how humans can resonate with all the other realities that we might exist in in the cosmos. And that if you have a dream, that we should not be fighting uphill to try to make this dream happen, that we should just change our thinking and say, I'm gonna go with the path of least resistance, and the universe is gonna flow us like a flow state, right, into the places that we're meant to be. So if you ever have a dream and you feel like you're fighting against the current or you feel like you keep hitting into obstacles, stop. Let go of the effort. It's not gonna take more effort to get to that dream. That extra effort is gonna create more resistance. Same thing with electricity. Electricity flows the path of least resistance, just like water does. We are water and electricity, and that's what creates our consciousness here on this planet as humans and animals and trees for that matter. So when you find yourself, and I have to remind myself of this every day, I try not to fight against troubles that I find or hurdles that I get in front of. I try to let go, even if I catch myself like being stubborn or like frustrated, take a deep breath, let it go, and just remember we have the most success when we follow the path of least resistance. And that's going to get us there the quickest. So, whatever that means for you, um, whether it means getting out of your own way or getting somebody out of your way, or moving around that person and just not acknowledging that negative emotion or that negative person in your life, you can recognize them, but let it go and move on. If somebody robs you, that money was meant to go somewhere else. If somebody um, you know, stands in your way and says, you're not gonna succeed here, well, that's obviously not helpful for your dream. You don't argue with that person and spend more time and energy arguing that person, of course I'm gonna be successful. You just move away from it and you go to the place where success is, not limitation. Um, so I just wanted to say that because I feel like that intuitively led me here, but I didn't consciously know what was happening. Where I just needed to read that on that Instagram thing to realize, oh man, that's that's so right. And sometimes I do get in my own way, or sometimes I dwell on a past memory or a toxic emotion that I'm continuing that has nothing to do with helping me getting to my goals, and you just let that go, follow that path of least resistance, whether emotionally or physically or spiritually, and it will get you to your dreams quicker. And you know, I kind of have proof at this point because I am literally living my personal dream, but also these dreams that were being sent to me when I was asleep. So yeah.
SPEAKER_00Oh man, so much damn wisdom in what you just shared. Thank you, bro. Uh, like there's there's loads in there, man. And like what comes up is um uh how much energy we put into resisting reality, you know, it's a lot, depending on who who you are, and then I'm this is something I'm I'm unwinding within myself. I'm a lot more chill than I used to be. And and and and you know, like we we we we do though, we we we push we push against our reality, we push against the now, we push against the situation so much, and uh it doesn't necessarily help the situation a lot of the time, you know, and and and I I think a big part of life is like we you know we can't control anything, and um but but what we can have influence of is our is our own reaction to to life. Life is always gonna life, and uh challenges are this inevitable beautiful part of life to inspire our growth if we choose to look at them in that way. Um, but you know, it's like they're always gonna come, so it's just like okay, how do we kind of how do we be me be malleable like like Bruce Lee? How do we be like water and and find that path of resistance, least resistance, which is maybe also what he was talking about, you know? 100%, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, people think to be like water had something to do with kung fu, it didn't, it had to do with exactly what we're talking about, staying in the flow and adapting to whatever happens to you.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, no, no, absol absolutely, absolutely. And it's it's interesting. I've um I've recently kind of um been experimenting with actually living a lot more in flow and being in this beautiful country house because Punta Vida is a lot more flow flow than the UK and probably New Jersey, I imagine. Absolutely. And I I I've kind of like um uh I've been following doing this experiment of following my passion with um not oh generally yes, but also just day to day. Like if something's alive, then I'll do it. If it's not alive, then it's just like I've stopped making myself doing it do it. Um and it's just like the the the part of the mind that wants the control and wants to will things into creation and wants to push doesn't like it, you know, because it it it's just like it's it's kind of like giving over to like the what's what's the whim of the moment or the most the alive most the most passion in the moment. And um I'm finding it's working, it's working really nicely. It's just like I follow the flow of the passion where there's least resistance, uh, and and it's just like bam, it's just like um you know, like uh much rather, you know, uh sit down with a brother for for have along and discuss, like have great fun discussing amazing things than doing other things. And paradoxically, you know, this is exactly what I should be doing, you know, because I I I think like following that thread of desire, there's so much to be said for that, and you know, maybe it's as if that thread of desire is is almost pushing it putting us to that path of least resistance, perhaps.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, could be, yeah, like an internal guidance system almost.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. It's like follow follow.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and then just yeah, oh go ahead. I'm sorry. No, no, no. No, I was just I was just thinking we were speaking earlier about this is like a repatterning. So anybody out there that like, oh, this is so metaphysical, or like, you know, how do I find the path of least resistance? You don't find it. Like Jesse just said, it's it's an innate desire that all of us have. Some people meditate to it, some people stumble upon it, um, some people are traumatized into it, some people are coached through therapy to it. There's a million different avenues for everybody. And that goes back to like, what have I learned working with the trees? Is that every single type of tree, every single type of person requires different inputs, different amount of water, different amount of sun, different amount of shade, different amount of trauma in order to manifest the way it was supposed to. And not any single one of us is the same. So, what works for me is not gonna work for Jesse, is not gonna work for you necessarily. It's following that kind of inner guidance system, whether it's trusting intuition or trusting your gut feelings. Our body, our mind knows how to lead us into the opportunities that are gonna get us to our best reality, our best results. And when we when we hold on to these things, these old patterns, these toxic habits, these toxic people, these toxic emotions and relationships, that only stops us or prevents us from getting into that flow. So if you want to say, like, what's my technique? And you're asking yourself right now, it's just eliminating toxicity from your life. Um, just touching on like Bruce Lee and his teacher was this guy, Itman, who studied Wing Chun, which is a form of kung fu. And if we go to like the Shaolin monks and the Indian philosophers, like the Buddha and things like this, something that they always say when they're asked, like, you can ask any Shaolin monk across the planet, they have the same answer for this. If somebody asks, What do I do with anger? Why do I feel anger? And it I heard this analogy put, and it's just so resonance for not only dealing with anger, but dealing with the toxicity that's preventing us or these blocks that prevent us from achieving our dreams. Let's just resonate back to dreams, right? That when we have anger, it's like drinking a cup, a toxic cup of something and expecting that to hurt somebody else. Like, no, when we hold on to these negative patterns or these toxic emotions, and we don't just let them flow or let them spill out and just get rid of them. We are the only one that's affected by it. Like us getting frustrated with the pace and timing of our dreams only affects us. It doesn't affect somebody else's dream for manifesting. They might be getting out of their way, and you might compare yourself like, why did their dreams come true so much quicker? Because that type of thinking is a limiting factor that's drinking toxicity. Why me? Why let it go and believe? And just going back to that quantum physicist, what he said was there's a part of you that is fully healthy in another dimension. There's a part of you that's fully happy in another dimension, there's a part of you that's a billionaire that's super wealthy. There's a part of you that's in a loving relationship and married and having all these kids that you might have dreamed of, but you don't have yet. Just decide that you're that person. The easiest way is to not get frustrated with, like, why am I not the billionaire? It's just changing your mindset and saying, I am that wealthy person in this lifetime. And watch how quickly things start to show up to you. If you're struggling with health issues right now, there is an aspect of you in another dimension or a parallel universe that is the most healthy version of you possible. Supreme health, ultimate, optimal health. Just believe you're that person. Possibly that's what happened to me when I was I was in my accident, was the being that Toby was that was broken here, accessed a dimension of reality where I was the same person, same age, same exact timeline, but I was in perfect health. And that being manifested in me here, and that's what healed me. Perhaps that's what quantum mechanics will find is that maybe through integration with AI, it's gonna be like, hey, humans, by the way, there are infinite aspects of yourself. Anything that you dream to be. In this reality, just connect yourself with that aspect and they'll come and take over here. And then it will start to manifest in front of your eyes almost as if you were like a computer programmer programming your reality and not being an NPC being programmed by other people or other things.
SPEAKER_00Dope. Dope. I just I got this image of like um the dream that we select uh is kind of like the end of the wormhole. And it and it it it won't and and and you know when when we can create those coordinates, uh then we know when we're gonna show we're gonna then be able to fold the time and space to end up on the other side of the galaxy where we want it to, and like we're literally we can go anywhere and around the galaxy we we like.
SPEAKER_02So it's just like there's so that's quantum entanglement, in a definition, that's quantum entanglement. That any of those two points, anywhere in the reality, dimensions, universes, cosmos, are all connected in the same thing. Like you said, folding it over. There was actually an ancient mystical symbol for this exact process called the Oroboros. Are you familiar with the Ouroboros?
SPEAKER_00That's a snake eating itself, right?
SPEAKER_02Eating its own tail. That's exactly it. That we are the creators and generators of our reality, and that's what the Oroboros meant to the ancient mystics. Was if they saw that symbol, they would say, exactly what you just said in in kind of cosmic ways or universal ways. It's the same exact meaning.
SPEAKER_00So cool. Thank you. Um, because it is many, many things, and um, yeah, I was yeah, cosmic coordinator for the wormholes. Um I I got like uh, I could talk talk with you for freaking hours. Um I want to cycle back to to food and and ask you more about um your feelings around food because it you touched on a couple of really interesting points uh with toxicity. And um I've I've definitely seen this um uh with myself as well as clients. Like I remember one client in particular. Um we took him on a detox protocol. He had some difficult things happening, so um uh very lots of toxic buildup in the body. Uh took him through a detox protocol, and uh it was amazing watching this guy's transformation. As he was ridding the toxicity from his body, the toxic thoughts were going down, the addictions were going down, and then the toxic relationships started falling apart as if by magic, and I was watching it, I was just like in theory, I I knew uh in theory I knew it was a thing, but to see it, I was like, okay, wow, like this is really a thing. So, and and also what you're saying around um food being like um you know so important to maintain in the centerni. And you you know, I I everything that we're made of, every single cell is made of something we once put on our mouth, right? So yeah, what what can you share around food and and like um uh any any riffs, any thoughts, but also specifically the benefits of eating food that uh grown in the way that you're grown them on the on the jungle at the jungle temple.
SPEAKER_02I can't stress this enough that you know knowing where your food comes from is the most important thing in the in the entire world for us right now. You know, I won't say all of what I eat is from my property, but a significant portion of it is. So I know what's going in from the moment it's planted as a seed to what's going into the soil to what's being sprayed in the air or here not sprayed. Um the energy, like spiritual energy that I'm putting into it, the care that I'm giving to it. Uh just as a small example, I have chickens here, and my chickens are free range, and they eat the fruits that fall from the trees and are kind of deteriorating on the ground. So my eggs from the chickens taste like guava and mango and banana, and they also have those nutrients in them. And then all of those nutrients come into me without me having to actually eat those fruits. And I know vegans won't like to hear this, but like it's the same thing as you know, growing a food forest biodynamically, not having like a farm that's just papaya or just watermelon. Every one of my fruit trees here is fertilized by dozens of other fruits and herbs. So those nutrients from those other fruits are getting absorbed into the fruits that are growing the trees, and then I'm eating those fruits or vegetables and they have added principles. Not only are they organic, but they also have nutrients that they wouldn't otherwise access if they were on a monoculture farm. So the most important thing I can stress in this question is grow your own food if you can. If you don't have land for it, go to your town and ask if they can dedicate an area for community gardens and get some neighbors together and work together to grow your own food and know where it's coming from, know what's going into it, know how it's being processed. A lot of the commercial foods that we get in stores are covered in sprays, they're covered in waxes to preserve them for longer. And then we consume these things without even thinking about it. And then we wonder why we get diseases and why our thoughts are toxic and why we have toxic relationships in our lives. Growing our own food is the most important way that we can empower ourselves, snap ourselves out of that system, the matrix, whatever you want to call it. It's the easiest and quickest way to empower yourself, both spiritually, physically, nutritionally, and emotionally. So that would be like the big message I have there is just like try to grow your own food, or if you don't have the resources or space, find a local farmer and support them because we are dying on this planet. Corporations are trying to shut down these types of businesses because they know if people start healing themselves, they can't make money on pharmaceuticals, they can't make money on chemotherapy, they can't make money on selling us garbage ass food anymore. So the way that the real revolution for humans to fight back against all this disgusting evil and corruption in the world is growing our own food. That's the quickest, most simple way to gain our power back as humans and communities again.
SPEAKER_00Amazing. I'm sort of inspired, man. I'm sure anyone listening by this point is deeply inspired as well.
SPEAKER_02Go do it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, go do it, guys, go do it. Um, cool, man. Um, yeah, last couple of questions. I want to ask you. Um, say if uh a viewer is sat there after listening to this and thinking, like, wow, you know what? I I either want to grow something or I want to move towards my dream. Hey, I've seen what Tobin's created with his dream. Cool, I want to do that, but I don't know how. I don't know where to start, I don't know how to start. Like, what advice could you give to someone um either who wants to create their dreams or or if or if someone they want to start growing something?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, write it into reality. Get a pen, a pen, a pencil, a piece of paper, and tell your plans to the universe. Write it. Everything that I do here was written 10 years before, 15 years before. I have just notebooks. My mother used to like criticize me in a way that like she would walk into my house and there was paper everywhere. Because anytime I would have a thought, I would write it down, and then that thought would become a document and that would become a poster board. Write it down. I mean, as far as like starting to plant something, with whatever space you have, study on YouTube how to cultivate that specific food or herb that you want to do so you don't make mistakes along the way. And then once you have the knowledge, start to do it. But as far as like dream manifestation, write everything down. If you have a desire to do anything, any type of career, any type of farming, food foresting, anything, music career, acting career, write it down and write it as if it's already manifested. Like I am a successful farmer in Costa Rica, I am a famous, respected actor, I am, you know, an entrepreneur that has eight businesses that each earn me a million dollars a year. Write it down and then follow through. How will that come to be? What techniques do you need to employ? Write them down and then do them. But writing it down is magical. Like we say words are spells, right? Like the human language is our ability to take what's internal and externalize it. But beyond that, writing something allows you to visualize it over and over again. And then your brain starts figuring out a plan how to make that happen. But if we don't write it down, it might just disappear into the ethers again, or somebody else might take that idea. But when you write it down, it's yours. And I'm not talking about like patent an idea or go get a copyright or a trademark. It's irrelevant because there's a phenomenon through quantum entanglement that when one person in the United States invents something, somebody in China at the same time had the same thought and invents it at the same time. So don't worry about who gets credit for it. Just write your dreams down, take the steps necessary to make that happen, and there's no rush. But if you're rushing, connect to that self of you in another universe that's already succeeded in it, and just say, hey, come help me, take over. And you never know what can happen.
SPEAKER_00Amazing, man, amazing. Oh man, this has been freaking great. I've uh uh had many times in this podcast where I'm like, yeah, he's chatting directly to me at the moment.
SPEAKER_02And myself, that's why I keep looking at myself. I'm like, Toby, listen. Yeah, forget.
SPEAKER_00I'm mad after this, I'm gonna get writing some stuff down actually. Um, so yeah, thank you. Thank you. Um, so last question, mate. So you got the jungle temple in Parita or just outside Parita, it's kicking, it's beautiful, um, good things are happening there. How can people uh either help the project or find out about uh more about the project or get involved with the projects in some way? What's gonna help the jungle temple and help you?
SPEAKER_02Thank you. Um, yeah, I mean, just uh look up either the jungle temple on any social media Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or my personal uh social medias are Tobin Ozuki. I also have a YouTube channel, Facebook public page, and an Instagram. So all of my information is on there. I have everything from donation leak links to all the interconnectivity of all the other sites. So if you find one of them, you'll have access to find all of them. And whether you can, you know, donate financially or you're planting things and you're inspired by my videos to do things where you live anywhere on the planet. Um, I mean, that's the most I can ask is that you start this process now. It's super important for us to empower our communities. And, you know, if you're growing food, all I ask is that you share it with your neighbors who may not have access to good quality food and nutrients. It's a very important thing for me that, like when I have abundance and excess here, you know, I have customers that come and buy it, but I also go into town as often as I can. And if there's somebody sleeping on the streets, I don't have the financial resources to give them money to go buy groceries, but I bring in bags of food for them that I know is really high-quality food that's going to transform their life for the better, no matter what. If they want to sell it, they'll have money. If they want to eat it, they'll have a better life in the future and a clearer mind to maybe be more um, you know, intelligent with how they spend their time and energy. And at the minimum, you know, maybe somebody else saw me giving something to them when they thought they didn't want to help them, and they'll be inspired to help somebody that's in need next time. So yeah, just get out there and start supporting your communities, the people that need it, support yourself, become self-sufficient, self-reliant. If you want to support me, subscribing to the YouTube channel helps me grow. It helps me potentially get like good sponsors in the future. It also brings more attention to the algorithm because we know everything is based on attention. So the more people paying attention to my videos, the more they're going to get shown to other people who have similar interests. And they might get inspired to be a food forest or might share it with their kid who's going through school that has a passion for this. So yeah, just spreading things. If you see any videos that resonate that I've created, share that on your social media. And yeah, that's all I can ask.
SPEAKER_00Amazing.
SPEAKER_02Oh, and also one more thing. If you want to come visit, if you're ever in Costa Rica, Central Pacific Coast, I do tours of my food forests and it's very inexpensive. It's like $30, $40 per person. You'll leave here with probably $40, $50 worth of food, and you're getting a foraging experience in Costa Rica. It's a different type of tour. I'm not gonna like diminish any other Costa Rica tours, but we're not like riding four-wheelers around the jungle or something. You're like here experiencing a genuine permaculture food forest that you can actually taste, just like Willy Wonka's factory, just to go back, like no schnazzberries, but everything else you could come and taste here.
SPEAKER_00Amazing, man, amazing. Uh, yeah, we'll well, I'll I'll put all the links in the um uh below wherever this episode goes. So, yeah, if um if you want to get involved, like have a look at the links attached to this episode. And um, yeah, that that's that's one thing that I didn't actually mention. Uh actually, like one thing that um I was like, man, I really, really want to get to know this guy uh deeper was just the integrity that you're walking in and um and and what I could witness and you you know uh from the early conversations I had and how important actually working with the locals was and and and integrating with the locals and giving back to the locals. And uh and and you know, because like you know, the the the fruits that you that that that you have, you you you could sell them for a hell of a lot more, but but you don't want to kind of go into that space to make it too expensive for people whilst at the same time not wanting to like undercut the locals as well. And and just like that that integrity that you're walking with there is just is it's freaking powerful, and um, and uh you know, I I can't wait to see how the jungle temple just continues to bloom. Uh it's it's a beautiful project, and yeah, you've just done such a phenomenal work, phenomenal job. Like it's it's just yeah, it's uh like I say it's it's a it's a real pleasure coming to see you each time. And um oh I did actually have one one last um little question uh um volunteers, are you looking for volunteers at all? Um reach out, reach out.
SPEAKER_02If I have an open space, you know, I'm absolutely open to it. So if you're into agriculture specifically and and you would like to come volunteer, I do have one guest room that sometimes is available, and and you could do a week a week, you could do a month, you could do six half here, but yeah, absolutely. If you want to come learn this stuff, I always appreciate extra help. It makes my life easier, and you're gonna be able to eat a lot of the food on the property while you're here. So, yeah, thank you for mentioning that. And really quick, I'm sorry to cut you off, but um, thank you for the comments on the integrity and stuff. I have to give full credit to my father because that's how he lived his life. Um, he had like a German-style butcher shop in North Jersey, and and he would help everybody could. He was in an area of North Jersey that wasn't necessarily very wealthy. Um, so I witnessed him every week of my life, like letting people come in and just leave without paying. We were not wealthy, like we were I kind of grew up on the lower middle class, kind of poor side of things compared to my friends and my neighbors. Um, but we always had food, and that's what my father said. We may not have the nicest car and the nicest clothes, but we'll always have good food on our table. And then he would share that. Like, I can't imagine how much money he gave up. And then we found out when he passed away that like every year he was sending soccer balls to his hometown in Slovakia and paying for their uniforms and sponsoring them so that the kids could have resources in a country that didn't have a lot of money. That's just how he lived his life. So I am merely a distillation of my father. I can't even say a reflection because I don't think I've impacted as many people in that way as he has yet. But I try. Every day I try to help people if I can. And on a little selfish side of things, if you're growing food, you then have resources. You become the bank in your area. Remember this. People always want good food. And not only can you get money for it, but just as a prime example, my next door neighbor is a cattle farmer. So he always has milk and cheese that he makes on the farm the day that he like garners the gathers this stuff. And he trades me on a weekly basis milk and cheese that we pay massive amounts of money for in England and the United States, uh, just for fruit. So I bring them fruit over every week and they bring me that. And I have trades like this with probably five to 10 different neighbors in my community where I'll show up. Sometimes I'll show up in town and I won't have to pay for my meals at restaurants because I'm giving them a carton of eggs or a bag of fruit. And they say, Do you want money or do you want a free cassado? In Costa Rica, we have a big dish that's like all the nutrients together, protein and vegetables and rice and beans. So I get free meals almost half of the time that I'm in town. So if you're thinking I don't have a lot of resources, plant a few trees. People are gonna want these fruits. And you don't necessarily have to exchange money. If they have something that you like, maybe they're a web designer and you need a website and you trade them fruits for three months and they design you a website that costs thousands of dollars for free. Like think of the food that you grow as not only nutrients and and uh sustenance, but also a bargaining chip. Like you can get, I would say at this point, I'm nearly 70, 80% self-sufficient in my life. And my goal is in the next couple of years to be 100% self-sufficient, where what I'm growing here finances everything else that I need in my life, and not necessarily exchanging for money, but exchanging for services. You know, maybe construction guys in the future that help me do renovations will accept food and fruit trees. I always offer that first. Somebody selling a sheep or a goat, I say, Will you take fruit trees or fruits? And they say, No, I need cash. I say, think of me in the future. So I always plant that seed out there, and that's something I would share with you is that if you're growing food, there's a point that's gonna come that you're gonna have more than you can consume personally or for your family, and you can use that as like capital for getting other things you need in life.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, amazing, amazing. Good to know your neighbor does cheese cheese and milk. I'll uh we'll we'll chat about that. Absolutely, sounds great. I've been looking for a good source. Oh man, thank you so much for your time, brother. This was a deeply inspiring episode, and uh, you know, this is this is gonna be episode three, and just sitting here, I'm just so pumped to interview more interesting people, and um and yeah, just just just to hear your wisdom. And uh I took a lot from this uh from this podcast, I'm sure anyone listening will have as well. And uh just like man, thank you for your for your heart, your dedication, your work, your love, like everything that's gone into this beautiful space, and like I just I just cannot wait to see it bloom even further, as I said. So yeah, thank you very much.
SPEAKER_02Thank you so much. And I will close out with three is the magic number. And if you're not familiar with the hip hop group De La Soul, three is the magic number by De La Soul, go listen to that song. Very honored to be three.
SPEAKER_00Nice. I'll stick it in the notes as well. All right, cool.
SPEAKER_02All right, bud, thank you.
