SPEAKER_01Yes, we would really appreciate any support. It's so helpful for a small podcast.
SPEAKER_03Remember, every donation counts, so it doesn't matter how much you do.
SPEAKER_01Or how little. Okay, let's get started with the episode. I'm sure all of you know what the very first Pokemon is. It's Bulbasaur, number 0001. It has 57 total cards. It's a grass poison type, is 2'4, and has a full set market value of $2,859. I actually have $38 worth of Bulbasaur. Just two random bulk cards and the and um and the first partner collection bulbasaur. Yes, I did pull it. So, Judah, do you would you keep this as a pet?
SPEAKER_03I don't know. Um, I'm going to ask you to answer first, and then I'm going to answer.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so it is a poison type. So it would probably like poison me or something. But I'm looking at like the Stellar Crown Bulbasaur. It's just kinda whoa, the Stellar Crown Bulbasaur actually would have a lot. Oh! The Bulbasaur's now the new most expensive card from Stellar Crown.
SPEAKER_02Yep.
SPEAKER_01Wow, I didn't know that. But anyway, it's just kind of chilling on a shelf. And I feel like and I feel like I could take Bulbasaur. Yeah, I I I would keep Bulbasaur as a pack.
SPEAKER_03You know, I don't think I would. Really? I mean, Bulbasaur is a poison type. Though that hump on his back, he just s every now and then just spews out spores. And yes, those spores make things grow, but I don't really want things to go in the house. I know Bulbasaur is cute and all, but technically speaking, about how I would be able to treat him, my I'm not very good at gardening, so I don't think I would take Bulbasaur.
SPEAKER_01Uh interesting. So it's wow. I think that Bulbasaur is like a little bit on the edge. But okay, let's move on to Ivysaur. Number two, 43 cards. Grass poison type, 3-3, and has a full set mark value of $1,308. I no, I wouldn't keep Ivysaur as a pet. That that's pretty obvious.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Ivysaur's just too big.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. It's gonna be a lot of them is just gonna be like no.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Same thing with Venusaur, like it would be cool to have a Venusaur, but it's just way too big.
SPEAKER_03Venusaur's massive. I actually Okay. So next we're gonna move on to Charmander.
SPEAKER_01Whaaaaa! This is hard for me. This is very hard. Because, on one hand, he's a cute little fire lizard. And whoa, his 151 card just went up. His 151 card's $130. It's almost past the Venusaur. Imagine it's like the big three of 151, Charizard, Charizard, Blastoise, and Charmander. Anyway. Dang. That was just falling behind. It needs to be more than the Squirtle. The Squirtle went up so much. So yeah, Charmander. The I think the only thing that would that like is making me on the edge is just his tail.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no. I w I just wouldn't do it. I wouldn't do Charmander, Charmeleon, or Charizard. Charizard for obvious reasons, but look at their tail.
SPEAKER_01I think I'm gonna I think I would. Yeah, Charmander would just like burn the house down. Charmale Charmeleon would burn the house down ever so slightly.
SPEAKER_03Charmander would just breathe. And he'd burn the house down. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Squirtle. I would keep Squirtle.
SPEAKER_03I would keep Squirtle.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Squirtle's just like a little dude. Like maybe he'll get the house like a little wet, but like he's Squirtle. He's just cool. And keep in mind, this isn't like training the Pokemon. This is like a pet. So you like have relative control. Like you like you can tell them to like stop doing something, but you can't just tell them to go attack someone.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Would you keep War Turtle? I think I would.
SPEAKER_03How wait, I'm gonna see how big War Turtle is.
SPEAKER_01War Turtle is three feet.
SPEAKER_03Three feet.
SPEAKER_01I think there are dogs that are bigger than that.
SPEAKER_02I don't think I would keep War Turtle.
SPEAKER_01I would definitely keep War Turtle. He's just like a cute little dude. Now Blastoise on the other hand.
SPEAKER_03Blastoise literally has guns on its back. I would get arrested for keeping Blastoise.
SPEAKER_01Okay, next up, Caterpie. I would definitely I don't see any problem with it. It is a foot tall, but it's just a Oh yeah. Yeah, it's it's literally just a little slithery bug.
SPEAKER_03I mean, the hard part would just be feeding it, because what does a caterpee eat?
SPEAKER_01I feel like that's a Google question. Caterpie diet. Uh-huh. It's oh! Massive quantities of tree leaves and vegetation.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I could handle that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. No, no, I would completely keep caterpie.
SPEAKER_03What about metapod?
SPEAKER_01Well, I don't think I could I I think I could handle Metapod. The problem would just be like, why? Metapod's literally just like a shell. Does it even move?
SPEAKER_04I don't think so.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna say like no. Like it might, like, I don't I don't I definitely think that I could handle it, but like, why? I have no reason to.
SPEAKER_03What about Butterfree? I mean, I agree with you, but oh my god.
SPEAKER_01What?
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_01Three foot seven?
SPEAKER_03Butterfree is three foot seven. Butterfree, also, if you read Butterfree's thing, every time she flaps her wings, she sends out a bunch of poisonous pollen. Yeah, which would kill anyone.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And it's just too big. Like and I'm and it's and it looks so fragile. I'm afraid I'll just like sit on it or something.
SPEAKER_03Weedle, yes.
SPEAKER_01Oh, complete. Well, it does have like the you can't really pet it because it has like the big point on its head. But it's just like a cute little dude. I would definitely keep Weedle.
SPEAKER_02I love Weedle.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Weed Weedle is pretty amazing.
SPEAKER_02I mean he's Weedle.
SPEAKER_01And well, katana, same thing as Metapod. Cocoona. Same thing as Metapod, it's just a cocoon. Like why?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no.
SPEAKER_01Like, I I'm sure I could keep it.
SPEAKER_03I think no. No.
SPEAKER_01No, Beach Earl's just a giant three-foot-tall wasp.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but its hands are stingers, and if you don't feed it, if you don't do exactly what it wants, it will stab you. And he's a bug and poison type. Yeah. Next is Pidgey.
SPEAKER_01I don't think I could give Pidgey enough room.
SPEAKER_03Pidgey's one foot tall.
SPEAKER_01I know, but like it needs to fly around. I don't think I could give it enough room.
SPEAKER_03I might be able to set something up outside and have like a perch for it where it gets food or like a bird nest and then just let it be itself.
SPEAKER_01If it will like always return to me, then yes, I would keep it. But if it's but if it's just gonna like leave and fly away, then no. But okay, what what's the rule on that? Are they loyal to you? Will they return?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, they're your pet.
SPEAKER_01Okay, okay, okay.
SPEAKER_03Let's say, no, let's say by your pet. They're not your Pokemon, but you know, if you let if you dropped um Pikachu in the middle of nowhere, Pikachu would try to find you. Yeah. Let's say it's like that for all Pokemon.
SPEAKER_01It's like a strong bond, but you can't just tell them to sick someone. Okay, so I would definitely keep Pidgeot.
SPEAKER_03Sick them.
SPEAKER_01Same thing with Pidgeotto and Pidgeot, because I don't need to keep them necessarily in the house.
SPEAKER_03Pidgeot, but for Pikachu. And then there's a danger. Pidgeot can fly at Mach 2.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but they're not a danger to other people.
SPEAKER_03No, but they might be a danger to your eardrums every time Pidgeot flies at the time.
SPEAKER_01Sonic booms? Okay, yeah, I I agree with you. I I would keep Pidgeot to open up Pidgeot.
SPEAKER_03How would Pidgeot even land on your house? Okay, I would not take Rattata. Rattata's a rat.
SPEAKER_01It I feel like you you'd have better luck taming the rats in the basement.
SPEAKER_03It's a one-foot tall rat.
SPEAKER_01And then Radicade, no, because it's literally just a two-foot tall rat.
SPEAKER_02I mean, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like, oh, that's interesting. Radicade can swim. Did you know that?
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Radicade can swim.
SPEAKER_03He's kind of cursed.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Okay, okay. Sphero. Same deal. I would keep him. He's cool.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but I'm just gonna have a giant perch with like 10 million different birds that I'm like, oh, I would keep that. I would keep that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. I've kept eight out of the 21 Pokemon that we've done so far.
SPEAKER_03I've kept five.
SPEAKER_01Well. Okay. Fearow.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_01I wouldn't keep any Pokemon that has Fear in its name.
SPEAKER_03No, yeah. Fearo looks is he looks cruel. He's four feet tall. And I'm pretty sure he can probably fly it at least Mach 1.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's a Pokemon.
unknownEkens?
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_01It's a snake.
SPEAKER_03Ekens is a giant snake. It's a six-foot snake.
SPEAKER_01Oh whoa. Pokemon that's six foot long. Not six feet.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Six feet long?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I know, I know. Same thing with Arbach. No.
SPEAKER_03Arbach's even scarier.
SPEAKER_01It doesn't live here, so no. But Pikachu?
SPEAKER_03I don't know. Actually, no, Theo, you go first.
SPEAKER_01Well, here's my reasoning. If it was Ass's Pikachu, no, not in a million years. That thing's gonna electrocute the whole town. But if it's just a normal Pikachu, completely. It's just a little dude who can, like, I'm sure that he could harm someone a lot, but he's not gonna, because he's like, pet. He's just a cute little dude.
SPEAKER_02He is really cute. He is really cute.
SPEAKER_03He is a really cute little dude. I think. I would want to get like a smarter Pikachu, like a detective Pikachu, who can like think, because I think that the Pikachu would probably incinerate everything if it was like Ash's Pikachu. But it's not. So actually, you've convinced me. I think I will do Pikachu. I'll take him.
SPEAKER_01Good, good.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Next is Raichu.
SPEAKER_01No. Jinx. Judda Jda Juda. Rai Raichu's just like Pikachu's on the edge, Raichu's what pushes it over the edge. Like it's cool, I guess.
SPEAKER_03Oh, so it just I mean, not really. It's not that cool.
SPEAKER_01It is. It's cool.
SPEAKER_03I mean, yeah, but like, no. Okay. Next we have Sand Shrew.
SPEAKER_01Sand Shrew would make a mess. Why? Can Tentu shoot sand? Oh, it burrows into the ground to create its nest, so I don't think I could.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, it would burrow into your house.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, no. And then Sand Slash is just that guy but more violet.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, with a giant like.
SPEAKER_01I would keep Nidorian though. It's just like a cute little mouse.
SPEAKER_02I would, but what does Nidorian eat?
SPEAKER_01Good question. I'll look it up. Nidorian diet. Let's see. Uh, fruits, nuts, berries, and plants. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I could definitely feed that.
SPEAKER_03And then Knit Arena. Yeah. I'd keep them together.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And then Nitto Queen's too big. Nitto queen.
SPEAKER_03And the same with Nitto King.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, same thing with Nidto King. But I would still keep the um. I would still keep the Nidorian male and the Knit Areno. Wait, no, I would not keep the Knit Arena. Look at it. Look at this guy. Look at it. It's just like a big Oh yeah, nah.
SPEAKER_03It's not like cute or anything.
SPEAKER_01And and it looks like it's gonna try to kill me. Now Knitto King is just automatic now.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_01But then Clefairy. It's like two feet tall and adorable. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Oh, Clefairy is an expert healer.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I I don't need to pay American I don't need to pay American hospital bills. I can just have Clefairy fix me up.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, she's better than American hospital bills. Uh Clefable, yes. She's four foot three, but Clefable, Clefairy, they're smart. Like they can think. They won't just go around making a mess. Cl Clefairy and Clefable like care.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I I agree, they do care. Vulpex. Just a just a little dude. I would keep them. I don't know if I will.
SPEAKER_03I don't want to keep a two-foot-tall fox.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but it's literally just it's like there are dogs that are bigger than this. I don't think it would be hard to care for, and it's adorable.
SPEAKER_03I th I'm not I wouldn't be, I just I don't think I would be very good at taking care of them. Nintails, no.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_03There is a story about Nintails that if you touch one of his tails, you'll be cursed for all of eternity forever. Nintails will literally kill you.
SPEAKER_01Jigglypuff, yes, yes, a million times.
SPEAKER_03Although. Why don't she start singing? Then you'll you'll fall asleep. Although, Jigglypuff could sing me to sleep. Like if if I'm having a like a bad night.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Just bring in my little one-foot-tall Jigglypuff.
SPEAKER_01You know, I bet I bet I could train the Jigglypuff to like when I call it crawl into bed, just like start singing so I fall asleep. Oh, imagine cuddling with Jigglypuff. It's so cute.
unknownThat'd be.
SPEAKER_03Wigglytuff I'd rather cudd cuddle with.
SPEAKER_01Hmm, yeah. Wigglytuff. No, Wigglytuff is a little bit big. Wigglytuff is 3-3. Like Jigglypuff, I could just like squeeze. Wigglytuff, I would need to like. It would be harder, but I would still keep Wigglytuff.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I've kept 16 Pokemon so far. What about you?
SPEAKER_04Well.
SPEAKER_01Or a number 41.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I've kept 12.
SPEAKER_0112. Zubat, no, it's just a bat.
SPEAKER_03No, no. It's a poisonous bat.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. Same thing with Golbat. Golbat is just bigger, Zubat. Oddish. Awww. I would keep Oddish.
SPEAKER_03I would put him in the yard.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm sure he would love to like run around in the yard. Oh my god, Judah. Look at the Scarlet Violet Promo Oddish.
SPEAKER_05What?
SPEAKER_01If you sort by most expensive of the Oddish, look at the one that's a Scarlet Violet promo. It's the fourth most expensive.
SPEAKER_05Aww.
SPEAKER_01I need that. I need that. Wow, that thing's so cool.
SPEAKER_03Um, gloom, no.
SPEAKER_01No, just poison. She's gonna kill me.
SPEAKER_03Same with Viplume.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Literally would kill you.
SPEAKER_01But Paris? Just a crab.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but I don't want a one-foot-tall crab with mushrooms currently on its back.
SPEAKER_01I would keep it outside.
SPEAKER_03Same with Parasect.
SPEAKER_01Uh, I would keep Paris, but not Parasect. Parasect is gonna draw the line.
SPEAKER_03Not Venomat, no.
SPEAKER_01No, Venomat's just gonna poison me. Just gonna kill me.
SPEAKER_03No, a lot of these will just kill you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Venomoth is probably gonna kill me too. But Diglet? I would keep Diglett.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_01Why not?
SPEAKER_03Did you do you know what Diglet does? Diglit is like in the stories, is known to incinerate people's homes. Same with a um same with um Doug Trio because they he digs under your house and he's basically like a giant termite.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03So I would not.
SPEAKER_01I would keep Meowth for the comic relief. I want someone to talk to. It's just like a little cat. It would be so funny. I would completely keep Meowth.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Meowth.
SPEAKER_01I wonder what the most expensive is.
SPEAKER_03Persian, nah. Just big cat.
SPEAKER_01Persian. But it's not like maybe if I lived in like a jungle or something, but no.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god. Yes. Psyduck? Psyduck.
SPEAKER_01Psyduck would just have- so cute! I would keep Psyduck if he didn't have a constant headache. I'd feel so bad for him.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah. But I also get migraines. So.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, you can relate to him. I don't get migraines, so like.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we could we could have a migraine party.
SPEAKER_01Gold Gold duck is no.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_01What's a migraine party? You turn off the lights and stare at a wall.
SPEAKER_03But I get to cuddle with a giant Psyduck, and he's like this thing. He's basically a giant body pillow. No.
SPEAKER_00No. Jinx.
SPEAKER_03Primeape. No. Jinx. Theatheo. Gradolith. No.
SPEAKER_00Mmm.
SPEAKER_03He's a giant fire dog. He's a giant two-foot-tall dog that can basically summon fire.
SPEAKER_01I'm going to read some of his um extremely loyal to its trainer. It will bark at those who um who appeared to the.
SPEAKER_03Oh, actually, never mind.
SPEAKER_01Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Too late. You already locked in your answer. No, I did my research.
SPEAKER_03I just changed it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I I would keep.
SPEAKER_03Not Arcanine.
SPEAKER_01Uh yeah, Arcanine is just too big.
SPEAKER_03Polywack. Oh, yes. Oh yes. But I'd have to like make a makeshift pond outside.
SPEAKER_01Uh it's worth it to have that guy around.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he's so cute.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_02I don't think I'd do Polyworld.
SPEAKER_01I found another. I've got another. If you look at the collection moon set, it's another set where just a random um nest ball gold is just the most expensive. It's an $175 random trainer. Polyworls look looks like he's gonna beat me up. Probably not.
SPEAKER_03And um Poly Wrath will literally beat you up. He has Wrath in his name.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no. But Polyworl will be adorable. Abra? No, he would probably like manipulate. Well, I I need to read some of his Pokedex descriptions. Like that one. Urrr. Which one? Oh, this one probably has one. Nope, it doesn't. Oh, they haven't written they this app doesn't have him written out for the Japanese ones. Here. Abra can teleport in his sleep. Apparently, the more deeply Abra sleeps, the farther teleportations go. No. He would just like teleport out of my house.
SPEAKER_00Yep.
SPEAKER_01Kadabra? No.
SPEAKER_00Nah.
SPEAKER_01And Alakazam, no.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_01Machop? Yeah, I'll keep him.
SPEAKER_03I would keep Machop, just not any of the other ones.
SPEAKER_01I just don't want to make him mad. Yeah. The other ones are literally just like buff dudes. I don't want like a random buff dude just walking around my house.
SPEAKER_03Bell sprout? I mean, yeah, it's just a plant. I put him next to my Oddish. I'd probably eat him, but.
SPEAKER_01I well, no, he's a poison type. Um.
SPEAKER_03I put him outside.
SPEAKER_01Let me read his Pokedex descriptions. Even though its body is extremely skinny, it's blindingly fast when catching its prey. Hmm, okay. Eve oh, that's the exact same Pokedex entry. Dang. Its bud looks like a human face. Because of that, the bud is rumored to be a the type of a legendary mandrake plant. Having a legendary plant in my yard? It's on the edge, but I I would do it. It it it works.
SPEAKER_03Weepin' bell.
SPEAKER_01No. It will just like eat everything.
SPEAKER_03Victory bell.
SPEAKER_01No. Same thing. Tentacle, I would keep if I had an ocean.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. No, tentacle literally uses its ten um its tentacles to beat people up.
SPEAKER_01Same Geodude is just a no.
SPEAKER_03And Geodude. Nah. He's a giant floating rock with fists. Graveler.
SPEAKER_01Graveler, definitely no. Golem? No. Ponietta.
SPEAKER_03No, she'd burned my grass.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Maybe I'll keep it if I lived on like a farm or something.
SPEAKER_03Rush ramp no. Yeah. Cause see restaurants Rapidash.
SPEAKER_01I would keep Slowpoke. Slowpoke is adorable.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god, yes.
SPEAKER_01He would just like laze around on my couch and like We would, oh my god.
SPEAKER_03He's best friends with um, what's his name? Um Psyduck. So me, Slowpoke, and Psyduck would have migraine parties together. Judah? What?
SPEAKER_01Slowpoke from Hidden Fates has a very interesting bit of flavor text. Alolan home cooking involves drying slowpoke tails and then simmering them into a salty stew. Why?
SPEAKER_02I hate this.
SPEAKER_01Man. I would protect my slow poke. Slow bro is just gonna kill me. No way.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I mean he probably wouldn't, but like he would.
SPEAKER_01He would accidentally feet tall. Magnemite, I would can he accidentally electrotize.
SPEAKER_03No, no, because he would his magnet would like literally magnetize all of your house.
SPEAKER_01It sends out electromagnetic waves which let it float through the air. Touching while it's eating electricity will give you a full body shock. Hard pass, no.
SPEAKER_03Farfetch'd, I wouldn't, not because I don't want to, but because I feel like he wouldn't get along with the other birds that I have on my hands.
SPEAKER_01We skipped Magneton and um because theirs are just worse than his.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Uh Farfetched. I need to read some of its Pokedex descriptions. Um, the plant of it, the plant stock it holds is its weapon. The stalk is used like a sword to cut all sorts. No.
SPEAKER_03Uh Doduo.
SPEAKER_01No, he's four foot seven. He's like around my height. That's that's Oh my god.
SPEAKER_03Dodrio is five foot eleven.
SPEAKER_01I would I really want to keep seal, but I can't, because I don't live by the water.
SPEAKER_03I don't want to keep seal. No! Oh my god, no. Go to number and go to the fourth one. Look, she's on land.
SPEAKER_01Yes. But he's a seal.
SPEAKER_03He's a walrus. I'm gonna add him. I don't care.
SPEAKER_01The colder it gets, the better it feels. It joyfully swims around oceans so cold that they're filled with floating ice. No, I can't care for that guy.
SPEAKER_03I I'm I'm gonna care for him.
SPEAKER_01How?
SPEAKER_03You can make a I'm going to create a bioenviron- I'm going to buy a bioenvironment. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Not Newgong. Not Grimer.
SPEAKER_03Grimer's just malted. Muck is literally a pile of molted trash.
SPEAKER_01Shelter, I would keep if I had an ocean. He's kinda cute.
SPEAKER_03He is kinda cute.
SPEAKER_01Cloyster, I would keep if I had an ocean. Ghastly, no.
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_01Haunter? No.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_01Gengar? Gengar? No.
SPEAKER_03Okay, let me read some descriptions of Gengar. Let's see. It absorbs the heat in the air around it. If you suddenly feel cold, it's because of a Gengar has arrived.
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_03Under a full moon, this Pokemon likes to mimic sh shadows in people and laugh at their fright.
SPEAKER_01It hides in shadows. It is said that rooms where Gengar is hiding, the temperature drops by nearly by nearly 10 degrees. My my b my heating bill would go up by so much.
SPEAKER_03And he wouldn't let you go to sleep.
SPEAKER_01It steals the life of its target. It slips into the prey's shadow and silently waits for an opportunity. No.
SPEAKER_03That's the same with Hunter. Hunter also steals his life.
SPEAKER_01I guess.
SPEAKER_03I would keep that as a pet. It's just flops and everything dies.
SPEAKER_01Drowsy?
SPEAKER_03Uh no, no, you forgot Onyx.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_01Drowsy!
SPEAKER_03Onyx is a twenty twenty-eight-foot-long rock monster.
SPEAKER_01I might keep drowsy.
SPEAKER_03I wouldn't.
SPEAKER_01Does drowsy have a um It finds fun dreams tasty. When it makes friends with people, it may show them the most delicious dreams it's ever eaten. Wait, what do you mean it eats dreams?
SPEAKER_03It consumes your dreams.
SPEAKER_01So I would never dream?
SPEAKER_03No, you would dream, but when you dream good, it tastes like dreams are like food for them, so the better the food is prepared, the better it tastes to him. Puts Hypno, no.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I I would not do Drowsy. I would not do Hypno. It would just hypnotize me to fall asleep.
SPEAKER_04Krabby.
SPEAKER_01No. If I would maybe keep him if I live by an ocean. And Kingler's just bigger Krabby. Volt Orb, no. Fun fact about Volt Orb.
SPEAKER_00Oh yeah, I heard that.
SPEAKER_01There's yeah, yeah, there's a Japanese um fairy tale, I think.
SPEAKER_03I think I think it's a creature.
SPEAKER_01It's a type of where tools come alive after turning a hundred. Volt orb is a living Pokeball. Oh, was is a living Pokeball with the Pokedex number 100. Cool little fact. And Electrodes just bigger. No.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_01Execute?
SPEAKER_03No, it's just a bunch of eggs.
SPEAKER_01I feel like it would be funny though.
SPEAKER_03It would be really funny. Actually, no, I think I'd be.

SPEAKER_03Yeah, how on earth would you keep a Snorlax?
SPEAKER_01Maybe outside? Well, how tall it's it's 6'11. But like, here's the thing. It's 6'11, but like a human could be it. A human that's 6'11 could like live in a house. No, it would eat too much. Well, let's see what it eats. Snorlax diet. Oh, just kind of lays around all day.
SPEAKER_03Snorlax diet, everything.
SPEAKER_01Okay, Snorlax diet is Thorny vines or m rotten moldy food. No.

SPEAKER_03Moltres would kill a lot of the fire type Pokemon would just kill you on accident.
SPEAKER_01I would keep. Uh I'm gonna see. Could Articuno survive in like a non-Actic climate?
SPEAKER_02I don't think so.
SPEAKER_01I'm looking at like well.
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna read some Articuno lore. A legendary bird Pokemon who is said to appear to doomed people who are lost on icy mountains.
SPEAKER_01Oh, um, I actually see a picture of it living in a city. I would keep Articuno.
SPEAKER_03A legendary bird Pokemon can create blizzards by freezing moisture in the air.
SPEAKER_01I would keep Articuno.
SPEAKER_03I wouldn't.
SPEAKER_01I would just let it run free.
SPEAKER_03Okay, Dertini, nah. It's a snake. It's six feet long.
SPEAKER_01A six foot long snake, no.
SPEAKER_03And Dragonair's same thing, but 13 feet long. Yeah. Dragonite. Actually, yeah. Dragonite is incredibly loyal. Dragonite is so good at carrying messages, I just wouldn't let him inside the house.

SPEAKER_03Mewtwo's already tried to incinerate the world once in the Pokemon movie.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's it'll just try to kill us all again.
SPEAKER_03Mewt, yes.
SPEAKER_01Okay, now this one is gonna require some serious consideration. It's one foot four. That helps. That helps a lot.
SPEAKER_03But it can fly and it's smart and it's nice and it's uh won't kill you.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna read to Pokedex entries. Pokedex centuries. Because it can use all kinds of moose, many scientists believe Mew to be the ancestor of Pokemon. Yeah, that doesn't really change my opinion. Because oh, let's see.
SPEAKER_03Well, because there's only one Mew, so they don't really have a lot of Okay.
SPEAKER_01I guess.
SPEAKER_03So rare that is said to be miraged by many experts. Only few people have seen it worldwide.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I would keep Mew. It's cute.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I would keep Mew.
SPEAKER_01Alright, so I kept 33 out of the 151 Pokemon. I kept Wow, Just counting. Okay. Oh.

SPEAKER_0125. Wow, looks like I got more guts than you, huh?
SPEAKER_03I mean, yeah, but I'm not risking my life for for Yeah, I guess that's fair.
SPEAKER_01Um I think the lesson to be learned here is Pokemon don't make great pets. Like, I think there were like one or two that I think would be like, oh yeah, that that would be amazing. I would love to have that. But most of them were just like, yeah, I could take care of them, yeah, it'd be cool. I would love to have Mew. Mew is awesome. But yeah, yeah. The lesson to be learned here is definitely well, Pokemon aren't the greatest pets of all time, so just stay away.
SPEAKER_03Next time you get next time you get like a text that's like, yeah, hey, I'm selling Pokemon.
SPEAKER_01Ugh.
SPEAKER_03Um, for some reason.
SPEAKER_01I'm a bad person. Anyway, um, comment it comment in the comment sections if you want us to do this for other generations.
