Too THURL
Jay & Tai host this lifestyle comedy podcast that dives into candid, unfiltered conversations through personal stories, work experiences, and relationship highs and lows. For the first time ever, Jay and Tai welcome a guest to the podcast—and they couldn’t have picked a better one. Enter Lile from the Big Smile, a former employee of Jay’s whose personality is every bit as entertaining as the stories he brings to the table. After Jay fired him from the Big Smile, nobody had really heard from him for nearly a year and a half. Rumors swirled, texts went unanswered, and for all anyone knew, Lile had vanished into the wilderness. Fortunately, he’s alive, well, and somehow even more Lile than before.
The guys dive into everything from mysterious night walkers to the legend of Baby Alien, while Lile shares some of his own experiences, opinions, and questionable thought processes along the way. Between the laughs, roasting, and completely off-the-rails conversations, this episode serves as both a reunion and a wellness check on one of the most unique personalities to ever come out of the Big Smile.
So I'll be watching the video. I can't remember the name of it. I guess they call it Night Walkers or something like that. They come in your backyard or whatever. They take over your animal's body. Kill your animal. They take over the body. Like they shape into your animal.
SPEAKER_03I got so many questions. Why are they taking the backyard? What's wrong with the front?
SPEAKER_05That's where all the cameras at.
SPEAKER_03How do you know? Well, you don't know the security layout of an individual house, but where they get their pigs day. The aliens, bro. Oh, you're right. Yeah, they know where we're at at all times.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. So when they do that, the animals like a dog. I seen a dog, cat, all that walking on two legs. The one lady was calling her dog to her. The dog was scared of her. I used to be scared. I'm not gonna lie to you. Of what? The damn dog in my damn house. I get up in the middle of the night, just go get a glass of water, a bottle of water, and the damn dog just sitting on the damn floor looking at me. With two legs? I don't know. Who knows? When I turn my back, he'd probably go on two legs. I don't have a back door, Jay.
SPEAKER_03And he can't get pause. Alright, well, cheers to the first the first guest. Hey. Lyle?
SPEAKER_05My man.
SPEAKER_01Boom. And he wore the overall.
SPEAKER_03This is a bit new for us. We got a guest tonight. You want to introduce him? You got the voice.
SPEAKER_05Everybody loves that. I see. They do. I love it. I love it. Um, so everybody, this is uh one of our best co-workers we hit on work with. His name is Lyle.
SPEAKER_03At the big smile.
SPEAKER_05At the big smile.
SPEAKER_03I manage Lyle.
SPEAKER_05We know you manage everybody.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, let's let's let him talk.
SPEAKER_05But you just told me to introduce him.
SPEAKER_03Are you introduced? You good?
SPEAKER_05Hold on, I didn't introduce the overall.
SPEAKER_03Alright, go ahead.
SPEAKER_05Jesus. Okay, so Lyle been wearing his overall since I met him. I told him he's not allowed to show up until he wear he wore this orall, and I'm proud of him.
SPEAKER_04You gotta get closer to the mic.
SPEAKER_05You gotta hear everything. Too close. There you go. That's all right, it's all right. Alright, now go ahead, Jay.
SPEAKER_03Well, the overalls are nice, dude. Thank you. Yeah, big, big plus. There was something I was gonna say, and then you went to the him not being close to the mic.
SPEAKER_05You say he wasn't.
SPEAKER_03I know, I was trying to do it, but the overall. Oh, yeah, I managed Lyle. It was great. And I fired Lyre. Great. Nah, that was a sad sad.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no, no, no. You got somebody else's fool.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, you're right. They're gonna go through with it. Yeah. Did you actually say no? Oh, 100%. There was no way I was firing you. Are you kidding me? You were my protege, dude.
SPEAKER_05Definitely wasn't. I'm I'm I'm really mad at the fact that you got above me on the computers.
SPEAKER_03I remember what I was gonna say. Well stop with the computer stuff. One two, he never showed up on time. He was worse than you until tonight.
SPEAKER_05But he was still on the computer before I was.
SPEAKER_03And I've been asking to be on the computer.
SPEAKER_05No, I don't want that computer.
SPEAKER_03Alright, we're gonna move past the computer stuff. And we're gonna focus on Lyle, who was never on time to work ever. He got he got here before Taiwan. That was a big W for you. Good job, buddy. Alright, Lyle. Welcome to the Moondog Saloon. Oh, Lyle should say. Alright, let's start again. Alright, I'm Jay. I'm Ty. And this is Lyle. And we are coming to you live from the Moondog Saloon. Alright. I'm using a mic from Timu right now. Hell yeah. How it's working. It's working great, dude. I'm just chilling, dude. Producer Flowey Joey said you should have the mic without a stand. You know why? It'll make you relax. I'm in the middle. I'm like a comedian, even though I'm not that funny. I'm fucking hysterical, but here we are.
SPEAKER_05And one thing I do gotta say, I agree with Flowey Joey. The reason why? You're not ready today.
SPEAKER_03Oh, nice. Well, you said I was ready in episode two. I didn't see anything.
SPEAKER_05You was red.
SPEAKER_03Maybe that was Sumber.
SPEAKER_05But you know, I want to say, do the gangstaway, Jay. Put your hand over the uh No.
SPEAKER_03Oh. I make those noises and stuff. Hell yeah. Is my face red now? Yes, let's go! Alright. Lyle. Raise your fucking shorts, boy. Oh yeah. That's a great fallout. I got Harry Leg. Short short. No one can see though, except for Lyle, apparently.
unknownListen.
SPEAKER_03Alright, Lyle, let's get right into it. A lot of people want to know. We got one one question really for you right off the bat. Are you okay?
SPEAKER_01Are any of us? I don't know. Are you okay? I'm okay.
SPEAKER_03I'm okay.
SPEAKER_01I'm vibing.
SPEAKER_03Alright, Lyle's vibing. We haven't seen him. It's been over a year now since I someone else got rid of him. So, Lyle. How you been?
SPEAKER_04I've been all right. You know, we're making it work. We're surviving. Making it work and survive.
SPEAKER_03The world's on fire, but the world is on fire. What can you do? Oh, what can you do? You call the fire department.
SPEAKER_05Don't work.
SPEAKER_03What doesn't work?
SPEAKER_05The fire department.
SPEAKER_03What?
SPEAKER_05The world is on fire. Do you see who the president is?
SPEAKER_03Oh no. Stop. Cut it. I thought I was gonna have to cut Lyle for this. Sorry. Alright, moving on. Yes, I know who the president is. He leads the country or tries to, I guess. Lyle, I'm not gonna ask you about that. Yeah, yeah. But Taiwan. I appreciate it. I got you, buddy. Rabbit hole, we don't want to get into that. Actually, you know what? Let's let's talk a little bit about our our experience together. Yeah. Okay, so Lyle, Lyle never showed up on time. But I got the pleasure of managing from him for a year and a half. I think he was fired, I don't know, two weeks before I got moved to night shift. And we were the Saturday shift. And Saturday sucked. He worked a couple Saturdays with us, huh? Oh yeah. But then everything got better around 8:30 a.m. You know why? Guess who fucking walked through the door? Lyle! Lyle walked in to save the day. Incredible.
SPEAKER_05When it's time for break.
SPEAKER_03Jay. Do you want me to stay through break? Lyle, are you kidding me right now? Stay through break, yes, please.
SPEAKER_05Oh, Todd, can you stay too? I'm just making a joke. What I gotta stay for. Oh my god, to help.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I'm the help guy. Why would you not want to help him, dude? Cap. I'm the best.
SPEAKER_05Cap what? Oh, I don't know. I just like Cap guy. He's next to me today, that's why. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you know why? I think he's got a message. He said he likes you more than me.
SPEAKER_05Who don't? Ly, you like me more than Jay?
SPEAKER_03I'm staying out of that fight. You can say okay, yeah. I'll let him have this one.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. No, you you have to answer. You're on this podcast.
SPEAKER_04I have to answer the question of the little stachy ball over there. I guess it's not a question he's answering.
SPEAKER_05But that's a question. All right, so I got a question for you. My question's to you, Lon, is what's up? I think everybody wants to know the way we all are right now. How the heck do we all manage to be friends? And where do we how the heck do we meet?
SPEAKER_02Is this a good good spot for the guest? Alright.
SPEAKER_03I need to know this. Yeah, how did we all meet? Is that the crap? Dude, Flowey Joey said that. He said he should be on the end. We're gonna crap. He was right. I was like, it's wild. You're right. It's fine. It's fine.
SPEAKER_04Alright, Lyle. No, but work is terrible, you know what I mean? And especially when you uh doing some bullshit for one of the richest men in the world for pennies on the dollar, you know what I mean? You were doing it for me. Yeah, and that's that's why I did it. And it's like, bro, I mean, like, that's how they get you, you know what I mean? Get into corporate America, no, no, no, no. But like, we're all in this fucking bullshit, you know what I mean? And they like we're not you didn't make the money from the work that we did, you know what I mean? No, I did not. Trust me.
SPEAKER_05None of us agree today.
SPEAKER_04None of us smiled either. No, but we're all like trying to like survive this bullshit together.
SPEAKER_03We're all in this together.
SPEAKER_04Um I'm vibing out, dude.
SPEAKER_03I love this. You gotta take this next week, dude. You shine with this thing, man.
SPEAKER_05If I take that, no what we I'll take it next week.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that'll be good. Yeah, that'll be good. Alright. So, I got a question for you. Okay. I got my laptop here. Make sure we stay on track. Alright. Are you a First Amendment auditor? Bro, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_05Who asked me questions?
SPEAKER_03I can't reveal that information. His source. His confidential tie. Are you a First Amendment auditor? FAA, as they call it. I don't know what this is.
SPEAKER_05I don't need this. I'm gonna say no.
SPEAKER_03Alright, so are you familiar with the First Amendment? Yes. Okay, what is it? I don't know. I didn't either.
SPEAKER_05I did not think Jason would have that question.
SPEAKER_04Surprise, this became a civics test. Yes, I see.
SPEAKER_03Alright, so Lyle told me. What is it, Lyle? The freedom of speech.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So we can say whatever we want, but not really. I'm not saying, I'm not saying that word.
SPEAKER_05Yes, we're not saying that, but yes, it is freedom of speech. Yes, I am from the.
SPEAKER_03Do you audit audit people's freedom of speech?
SPEAKER_04Is that what they do? They like test their First Amendment right to fulfill it.
SPEAKER_03Is it written?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, in the the bill of it.
SPEAKER_03Do you give them a written test?
SPEAKER_04No, no, no, no, no. They they test it physically.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_04They go to like police stations and like public places that like they don't want you taking pictures and video of and like take pictures of video, and then they either like get arrested or they don't, and they're like, Do we audit the First Amendment, dude?
SPEAKER_03No, we can't go to a police station.
SPEAKER_05Can we? You think what I'm thinking?
SPEAKER_03Oh god, Lyle say don't do it.
SPEAKER_05Our first guest ain't gonna do it, so we ain't gonna do it. We ain't gonna do it.
SPEAKER_03Who are you to audit though?
SPEAKER_05You can do whatever the fuck you want. We allowed to do it.
SPEAKER_03No, I want to audit someone. He don't go, he's not auditing. Are you auditing? You're an auditor? No, he don't audit.
SPEAKER_04I uh anyway. I was telling you earlier, the only way I audit is fucking anyway.
SPEAKER_03How do you audit? No, that's a fucking anyway, isn't how you audit anything.
SPEAKER_04God by fucking telling the government that they're doing some bullshit out in the streets, and then well, you have to go to Washington, DC for that, don't you? No, you can do it wherever.
SPEAKER_03I could do it in my driveway. I mean, it would be less effective in your driveway, but it would, wouldn't it? Yeah. But my neighbors would get the message. They might. And then maybe they'll tell some people. Or they might call noise complaints. Ooh. Damn. Especially with him. My god.
SPEAKER_05I was just about to say the only black person we might not want to do.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you got in tonight with the garage code. No one called the cops. That's good.
SPEAKER_05How do we know?
SPEAKER_03Uh, you're right. I'm in the I'm already inside a building. This is not a building, but yes, you're right. This is a building. Yeah, I guess. A house is a building. I got sound effects on my thing, too.
SPEAKER_05But I mean, at the end of the day, who knows? The cop could be sitting outside until I come out. He's gonna let me walk out with the bag, though.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, the cop could be outside. I was just dancing. I played a sound effect on my buttons.
SPEAKER_04I doubt they waiting for me.
SPEAKER_05You you doubt it?
SPEAKER_04I mean, that's that's a lot of work.
SPEAKER_05You know where we at right now, Lyle? Yeah, we're in a basement. No. Do you know where we know what town?
SPEAKER_03White person's house?
SPEAKER_05No. The town we in basically is in between. It's black wood. Gloucester. Gloucester.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_05Yes. We're not Glosser City. Get the get out of here, Gloucester City. Landerwall and Somerdale. The only black guy in this house.
SPEAKER_03They know where we're at. What are you talking about? I got a black neighbor named uh Tyrese. Who? And where? He lives somewhere in the neighborhood. One of these streets.
SPEAKER_05So how do you know?
SPEAKER_03I'm just taking an educated guess. I I read the pop. Oh, what is it? The census. I looked at the census.
SPEAKER_05And for you for you guys, if they say Tyrese. My name is not Tyrese. No, you're Ty. Just Ty. But anyway, let's get back to Lyle. Yes, please go. This has been an on and off paper. Go ahead, Lyle.
SPEAKER_03On and off. He I'm the only one he's talked to. You're off, off, off. You gotta get on right now. Go ahead. My off.
SPEAKER_05I asked him a question that you cut him off and couldn't even answer the question.
SPEAKER_03Because he started talking about the government. No, you specifically overthrowing it. I see. See? I know what's coming. That's why I got the mic, and that's why I'm in the middle. Control the flow.
SPEAKER_05It's all right. It's all right. All right.
SPEAKER_03Go ahead. Ask a lot of the questions.
SPEAKER_05Let's go. So loud, man. Like Jay said, it had been a year. What a year and a half? A complete year?
SPEAKER_03Uh so he was supposed to get fired in the beginning of December. And I just, that's not happening on my watch.
SPEAKER_04Okay, so also honestly, they weren't going to fire me during peak. They waited until we went.
SPEAKER_03They said fire you during what? Peak. No. Try again. Fire you during our busiest time. Try it again. Go.
SPEAKER_04Tried it during oh, no jargon. I got you. I got you.
SPEAKER_03Ready go.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, they weren't going to try to fire me in the busiest time of the year. Okay. I mean, they waited until we got all the packages out for Black Friday for Christmas. And then they were like, oh, by the way.
SPEAKER_05Your fire.
SPEAKER_03Was good with your hours. Yeah, but they didn't do that. I smoke and mirrors, baby. So I never worked for me. Are you trying to fire him? Are you kidding me? I delayed that shit two months. That shit got to corporate. They had a huge, huge meeting about why this guy wasn't being being canned. That's amazing.
SPEAKER_05So why was I the last person to know that you got fired? And I thought we were cool. I've seen you personally after work hour inside of a store. How were you the last? Wait, trust him believe me. I was the last person, Lyle. And I thought we was cool. Timeout.
SPEAKER_02Timeout.
SPEAKER_05Let Lyo answer this one.
SPEAKER_04I'm not in trouble, bro.
SPEAKER_05Because you got fired, basically from this guy, but he passed it on to somebody else. He passed it on to somebody else. He passed it on to somebody else, okay? But we saw each other. That day? No, about a couple days after we saw each other inside of a store, a grocery store. Costco's.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I think it was. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05You did not mention that.
SPEAKER_03It's Costco. Where's the F?
SPEAKER_05Okay, Costco.
SPEAKER_04No, we had a whole conversation about it.
SPEAKER_05But you did not say you got fired. Why is he gonna bring up bad memory? It's not bad memory. I just want to know because I thought me and Lyle was cool. I told you right then and there that I didn't want to do it.
SPEAKER_03He didn't even tell me he got fired. He said he was going to the bathroom. And the next thing I know, he left. They walked me out the building.
SPEAKER_05By going to the bathroom? No. I'm about to say, can we sue that?
SPEAKER_03No. They can sue me.
SPEAKER_05Make some money.
SPEAKER_03You gotta know a lawyer. You know a lawyer? Lyle. He knows the law, dude. We were talking about it earlier. But then I asked him about bird law. He had no idea. A bird law? You don't know bird law either? A bird?
SPEAKER_05Like a bird.
SPEAKER_03It's the law of the birds. Law. Birds have law. Charlie Kelly. He defends it in the court. This is a good segue to my my new uh hinge girl. Yeah. You like that segue? I love that segue.
SPEAKER_05I'm glad y'all too like.
SPEAKER_03I gotta give her a shout out.
SPEAKER_01Shout out. These pretzels are making me thirsty. She knows. Why are you making that face, dude?
SPEAKER_03She listened to the podcast and she still is interested in it. Crazy. It's crazy.
SPEAKER_05It is. It's definitely crazy. No, what?
SPEAKER_04I'm like, how how can you not know this man and not fucks with him? You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_05Jay really don't like me. He just wanted me on here. Oh my god. That's not true. Trust me. No, not your voice. His mom likes me. He don't. My mom likes to.
SPEAKER_04That's crazy work.
SPEAKER_03It is, right? Why do you think I don't like you? What have I done that has displayed that sort of affection for you?
SPEAKER_05We're not going back to this, Jay. This is all about it.
SPEAKER_03Oh, is this about you not getting promoted?
SPEAKER_05Not getting promoted. Turn off your uh location.
SPEAKER_03Uh the location. That's an issue. But he my location. Yeah, I know. Six o'clock, seven o'clock, eight o'clock, nine o'clock. I know where you're at. Yeah, I bet. You know where I'm at, too. Probably here. Yeah. Yo, you remember that commercial? Yo, I don't know how this started a fight.
SPEAKER_05Me neither.
SPEAKER_03He started. He said I don't like it. But remember that commercial? Yo, where you at? Yo, where are you at? And then they pick up the Nokia. Oh, where are you at? They shouldn't do a collab with that and what's up! What's up? Yo, where you at? What's up? Yeah, you're laughing, dude. You got that.
SPEAKER_05You got that. You got that. Today's your day, Jack.
SPEAKER_03If no one else laughs, no, it's Lyle's day. Well, it seemed like the whole time would be. No, I don't want to. Yeah, because he's being nervous. This is like episode one. Y'all loosen up, bro.
SPEAKER_04Y'all all loosey goosey for that. Listen, I'm I'm uh, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_05So, what you won't talk about, Lyle.
SPEAKER_03We can't listen. We're not talking about overthrowing the government. Why not, Jay? Because this is a non-political podcast. He tried to talk about the president. You want to overthrow it, and I'm just here like, let's talk about the president. I just said You said his name, you said president. I did not say his name. You literally said his name, president.
SPEAKER_05I didn't say his name, though.
SPEAKER_03President.
SPEAKER_05Some people don't know who the president is.
SPEAKER_03That's crazy.
SPEAKER_05Some people don't know. Who? Some people, trust me. Okay.
SPEAKER_03We're not playing griddles here. Who are so many people?
SPEAKER_05Some people don't even know his name. They call him the orange guy.
SPEAKER_03We're not going to get in the skin color here, please. We've established that on day one.
SPEAKER_05I'm just saying, that's exactly what they call him the orange guy.
SPEAKER_03I drink my cup water.
SPEAKER_05I didn't hear about this shit, so I worked at a cut cut cut that one out, uh, Goofy. My thing is.
SPEAKER_03Oh fuck! I said the name of the big smile.
SPEAKER_04Wa.
SPEAKER_03Oh well. Alright, go ahead. Your thing is.
SPEAKER_04That like this idea around political that I think it's is not like party versus party. It's the rich versus everybody the fuck else.
SPEAKER_03Alright. I let it go to the I I let it get to a certain point. I let you go. I I let you go.
SPEAKER_04I just wanted to be clear, you know what I mean? That like I feel like there are these like fake lines of division that they try to get everybody fighting amongst each other, but not actuality.
SPEAKER_03Yes, but and that's that's what we're trying to do. Yeah. Not divide, bring it all together.
SPEAKER_04And that's what I'm saying. That like most people at that.
SPEAKER_03Most people, yeah. Have there's the one percent extreme on each side, and it's everyone else, right? I just think it's the one. I know what you think, but I don't we can't express what you think on this podcast. Yeah, sorry, Lau.
SPEAKER_04And that's the try. That's what I'm saying. That's from where I am a First Amendment auditor.
SPEAKER_05I try Lau, sorry.
SPEAKER_04Full circle. First full full field circle. Yeah, sir.
SPEAKER_03All right, you tried, and he brought it home. He did a full circle thing. That's cool. Good job. All right, now let's get to you. You were at uh track meet today. I saw you at Salem High School. Spring, I know it's not baseball, I know it's not lax, I know it's not wrestling or football. Gotta be track and field, right?
SPEAKER_05No. Oh, it's not in no track and field, no.
SPEAKER_03Oh, all right. Took an educated guest.
SPEAKER_01Kids had uh dancer title. Oh you need the whole bottle crown after that. Oh my god. No, it was it was good.
SPEAKER_03You like that goofy? It was pretty good. It was pretty good. It was good. Yes. What was good about it?
SPEAKER_05You know, seeing the kids get Getting a trophy, you know. See, Jay, once again, we we already talked about this, you feel me? We talked about how we be supportive of the kids or of our kids. Oh, you feel me? So I would have been very, very supportive today. You know, the kids had dance recital. I went, seen them dance, got their trophy, how excited they was, you know, took them out to eat afterwards, and then it was as excited.
SPEAKER_03Damn. I was gonna make a joke and everything now.
SPEAKER_05Go ahead, make the joke.
SPEAKER_03No, I forgot what the joke was. You got so sentimental on me about being a supportive father and all this. Damn. How about you, Lyle? What'd you do today? Oh, nope. Can't can't get into that. No overthrowing the government's off on the garbage. Lyle, you believe in aliens? What's that alien's name that screams? Baby Alien! You know Baby Alien?
SPEAKER_05Do you want to be doing a dance though?
SPEAKER_03Bro, he's like three foot tall.
SPEAKER_05His head is huge.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it starts at a very narrow chin and just expands.
SPEAKER_05Apparently, you never seen him?
SPEAKER_03Did you know he did porn?
SPEAKER_05I did not need to know.
SPEAKER_03He's on an episode of uh this Nelk Boys thing. And it's all live streamed. Yeah, everybody's saying, yeah. How else is this little guy getting all these barrels, dude? So what do he do? He put his body in. He looks just you gotta look at him. I don't know what he does. I didn't watch the porn. Oh, I bet I don't want to look at him. I didn't look baby alien porno. I'm I'm good on that. Baby alien porn. You don't knew this.
SPEAKER_05You know, yeah, because I just knew who baby alien is, but you because of me. No, I've been to he was. How'd you know who he was? Not because of porn. He did uh I didn't know who he was supporting. I said he did you know he did porn. I didn't find it, but that's telling us that you know that he did that. Oh dear lord. Am I right wrong though, Lyle?
SPEAKER_04I'm saying you could know a person separately, but know what he do.
SPEAKER_05I just found out what he did. I didn't know. But he's he basically a uh what's that called creator type thing on Facebook right now? That's what I thought he was. I didn't know he was a porner, right?
SPEAKER_03And neither did the neither did the girls in this knuckle whist thing. And this guy went up to him and he said, You only see my man on the X Hamster? And yeah, that's when you knew. If you didn't know X Hamster is a porn site, now you know.
SPEAKER_00What the fuck?
SPEAKER_03Welcome back, love. And the question is, am I okay? Yes. Are you okay, dude? I think I'm I think I'm giving great content right now. No, you really am I on your show. I really I've been meaning to bring up baby alien, and here was the perfect time. Yeah, I don't know.
SPEAKER_05So today was a perfect time.
SPEAKER_03But really, I needed to ask him about aliens. Oh. Yeah. And then baby alien, you know. Naturally flows. Right. Yeah. Everything naturally flows in this podcast. We can get from A to Z to six to seven to a million.
SPEAKER_04More like A to B to X to You gotta throw a number in there.
SPEAKER_03Throw a shape in the real fucking quick square, triangle. What about a circle? Absolutely.
SPEAKER_04The crazy thing is the letters and the numbers turn into shapes. Like that's when that shit just fucking starts.
SPEAKER_03There's not enough weed in the world for me to smoke power.
SPEAKER_05I don't smoke, but you got my head. What? Hold on, Lau. Say that shit. Say it one more time, but clearly. The crazy part is when the number. No, get closer, get closer. I get it got closer.
SPEAKER_04You're not that close. There's a season.
SPEAKER_05There's a whole worth of. Hold on. I am a man. I got a deeper voice.
SPEAKER_03All right. Stop and let Lau go. Ready? Go.
unknownWhat the fuck are we talking about?
SPEAKER_05Uh your little X, Y, Z, and your square.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay. So if you add a square and a number, you get a letter?
SPEAKER_04No, the like the letters and the numbers making shape. That's because it's all line.
SPEAKER_05Am I wrong? I need you to write that down on a piece of paper and show us this. And so we can show the camera.
SPEAKER_03No one writes anymore. Yeah, no, fuck this. Oh. You gotta put that on notes. Yeah, send it to me. Type it in my laptop.
SPEAKER_04The aliens are coming. The Terminator's here to take your job.
SPEAKER_05Stop. I don't finish. Go ahead. The aliens are coming. The Terminator's a ticket job. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03The aliens are here.
SPEAKER_05That is true.
SPEAKER_03They're here.
SPEAKER_05You ever heard of the uh what's that called? I think it's called daywalkers, something like that? Or night walkers? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Those are like zombies, though.
SPEAKER_05Those are the ones, no, those are the ones that actually transform to your animal or whatever. Or you think your animal is your animal, but it's not. See you to bed. What? Yeah, I'll be I'll be watching these videos, bro.
SPEAKER_03Wait. Say that again? You think your animal is your animal?
SPEAKER_05But it's not. But it's not. Like, all right, so I watched, yes. Oh, Jay took the glasses off. What? Yeah. So I'll be watching the video. I can't remember the name of it. I guess it's called Night Walkers or something like that. They come in your backyard or whatever. They take over your animal's body. They kill your animal. They take over the body. Like they shape into your animal.
SPEAKER_03I got so many questions. Seriously. I mean, it's I think it's based on why are they taking the backyard? What's wrong with the front?
SPEAKER_05That's where all the cameras at.
SPEAKER_03How do you know? Well, you don't know the security layout of an individual house that they get their pet. The aliens, bro. Oh, you're right. Yeah, they know where we're at at all times.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. So when they do that, you know, some, I promise you, I've literally watched these videos. The animals, like a dog. I seen a dog, cat, and all that walking on two legs. The one lady was calling her dog tour. The dog was scared of her. When I find this video, I'm gonna share it. So that way we can post it in our podcast. I'm dead scared.
SPEAKER_04And little little you know, it's actually the Terminator spitting out this bullshit for you.
SPEAKER_03Better find this video because I'm gonna post it on our social media. I'm definitely gonna find a video. People actually look at that shit. Crazy.
SPEAKER_05Definitely gonna find a video.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_05I used to be scared. I'm not gonna lie to you. Of what? The damn dog in my damn house. I get up in the middle of the night, just go get a glass of water, a bottle of water, and the damn dog just sitting on the damn floor looking at me. With two legs? I don't know. Who knows? When I tell my baby, probably go on two legs.
SPEAKER_03And he can't get paused.
SPEAKER_02Pause.
SPEAKER_04This is it's there's a huge wrench in this whole yeah. If they only come in the back door. Pause.
SPEAKER_03Yes. Alright. Let's talk about content we got coming up. What are we doing? We going to the World Cup or what?
SPEAKER_05Oh, we definitely go on Lyle showing up till you say it. No, I didn't.
SPEAKER_03Wait, Lyle lives in in Philly. Yes, where you come in. He's coming. But we gotta find out about Lyle being a Philly.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Where you live at? By Castor Av? That's my spot.
SPEAKER_05Please don't say Kingston. That's not my spot.
SPEAKER_03Oh, Kangstaten? That's never mind. I know what Kensington is. What is it? A very dangerous drug place. No, it's sleep standing up like called Zombieland. Yeah, say Zombie Land. Yeah, Zombie Land. Alright, cool.
SPEAKER_05Okay, Baghdala.
SPEAKER_03Castor Av. You live by there?
SPEAKER_04Nah. I grew up uh in Junietta by the golf course right by there. Uh right off of Castor. There's a golf course in Philadelphia. There's several golf courses in Philadelphia. In the heart of the city? No, no, no, no. It's like lower northeast. Oh, you're in the suburbs? No, even against it. Y'all in the suburbs.
SPEAKER_03Y'all in the Oh, you're by Kensington.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no. I'm like Kensington's in between me and like Center City.
SPEAKER_03So Kensington's like the peanut butter and jelly, and you're the bread. Yes. Alright, cool. Got it. Of the like I'm clean. So?
SPEAKER_04Are you coming to the World Cup tailgates and I work in a hospitality? All the motherfuckers. I'm dealing with the motherfuckers. At a hotel. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Oh, that's what you work at? Okay, so what do you actually do? What do you do?
SPEAKER_04Right now I'm basically doing for the hotel.
SPEAKER_03Pause. We said that twice now. Sorry, Goof.
SPEAKER_04Putting his work. Basically, you I'm basically doing what I'm what I was at the Big Smile.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_04At Ron Delisle. For the hotel. Smiles for my.
SPEAKER_03How the hell are you pushing packages out of a hotel?
SPEAKER_04No, no. I'm basically doing receiving. So like inbound shit. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Inside of a hotel?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I'm a trader.
SPEAKER_05Like, no, no, no. A hotel, like where you sleep in. Yeah. That type of hotel. What other kind of hotel? Because I'm I'm trying to figure this out because I never heard of this right here. This is the first time ever.
SPEAKER_03Food. Yeah. Okay. If hotels have yeah, I know. I had to stop the conversation because I couldn't understand it either, but yeah, food. But then we also get like mail and and stuff.
SPEAKER_05So you gave out discounts? Or can you can you give out a discount?
SPEAKER_03Saying in Atlantic City, bro. You ain't gambling. You ain't getting no comp. This is between. Shout out Sean.
SPEAKER_05Hey, Sean, I need a comp, bro. Just for the weekend. Just for the weekend.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Boy, he said.
SPEAKER_05I need a good one too.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I need like a suite. We can talk about that soon, man.
SPEAKER_03I ain't getting a suite. What are we doing? Going to gamble? I gotta go to the World Cup first.
SPEAKER_05No, but that's not for us.
SPEAKER_03Who's it for? Ladies.
SPEAKER_05Me and my lady, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Oh, you got a lady? Me too. I just met one on Hinge, dude. Now we don't have to worry about it.
SPEAKER_05Sorry, Sean. We need two of them. Two what? Two rooms. I'm not sitting in a room with Jack. Sorry.
SPEAKER_03Oh man. Look at us. Two taken men on the podcast. That's a jump. That's a jump.
SPEAKER_05Wait, Lyle, you taking two, right? Yeah. Alright, so sorry, make that three.
SPEAKER_03Well, Lyle's been taken since I known him. He's got a new shirt.
SPEAKER_05My man. How long has it been? Almost five years. Eighty years?
unknownFive.
SPEAKER_05I bet they say eighty. Damn. You ain't proposed yet? Where's the big ring at?
SPEAKER_03Listen. Listen, we're not going to talk about it. Okay.
SPEAKER_05We're not talking about that.
SPEAKER_03We'll talk about that post-production. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05So how does it feel being in relationship for five years though? How does that feel?
SPEAKER_03And is she gonna listen to this?
SPEAKER_05Who knows? But how do you feel for five years though?
SPEAKER_04That's just I don't know. Finding like the person that you want to spend the rest of your life with, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03Like that's just they don't fight, dude.
SPEAKER_04They got we fight all the fucking time.
SPEAKER_03What are you talking about? I don't know, bro. Like you fight with everybody. It's life, Jay. What the fuck? I meant perfect. They're not breaking up every other week. They're not toxic. That's what I meant.
SPEAKER_05Okay.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Who knows, though?
SPEAKER_03Who knows what?
SPEAKER_05They break up every week.
SPEAKER_03This man, yeah.
SPEAKER_05He's the most chill guy in the world. Baby, I'm going to my mom's house. I don't got time for this shit. I'm going to my mom's house for the day.
SPEAKER_03You don't sound like loud at all. You want to know what you sound like? A little bitch. No. That's your favorite word.
SPEAKER_05Is it? Oh, yeah. Listen to episode one.
SPEAKER_03No. Episode two. Episode the opening to episode two is so good because I called you a bitch.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. I think everybody loved that part.
SPEAKER_03Speaking of that, the episodes are out. This is the first recording we're doing while we're live.
SPEAKER_05We're out there, dude. We're really out there.
SPEAKER_03We are out there.
SPEAKER_05Make sure y'all look for us too, for real.
SPEAKER_04Just like the aliens. Just like the aliens.
SPEAKER_05So what color are the aliens then, Al?
SPEAKER_03Didn't I say this earlier about the color of the skin?
SPEAKER_05What color are they, Al? What color do you think they are?
SPEAKER_03I don't think that they're acting.
unknownI think he's one of them.
SPEAKER_03I thought I was one of them. That was the joke at the big smile, but he might be one of them.
SPEAKER_05Who knows? Who knows?
SPEAKER_03Hopefully me, but when he showed up to that bird game in the overalls. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05From a different planet.
SPEAKER_03Straight out of Mars.
SPEAKER_05And guess what, Joy? When I went to Costco, that's what he had on.
SPEAKER_03He said it with no S. Good job.
SPEAKER_05That's what he had on.
SPEAKER_03Overalls. Yes. On his day off. Is that the only thing you I'm telling you, I sent him the screenshot.
SPEAKER_05No, seriously. Is that the only thing you owe?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Look at this. Two for two. Uh yeah, two segues.
SPEAKER_05You're killing me small. So what was that from, Jay?
SPEAKER_03I wore this once.
SPEAKER_05So where's it from?
SPEAKER_03When I was having price. I wore it once. It was like a it was for like a maternity or paternity or picture or some stupid shit. I don't know. I kept it for some reason. I don't know why. And then someone, he's not the most educated person in the world. He asked me why we didn't talk about Sandlot in episode two, and we talked about Hardball. How is Sandlot relevant to Hardball? Baseball, aside from baseball.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I'm about to say. But now we're on this one now.
SPEAKER_03On what? Sandlock.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. So Lyle, what do you know about Sandlock? Let's hear your side. I don't know. I watched like one of the movies. One of one of the movies.
SPEAKER_03That was more 98, bro. Oh yeah. It's like we forgot to get him to sign the age consent then.
unknownWhat the fuck?
SPEAKER_05Lyle. Horror? I mean, I better say horror ball.
SPEAKER_03Sandlot.
SPEAKER_05Sandlock? You wanna watch one?
SPEAKER_03I don't know. I forget. First of all, if you say you only watched one, there's only one original Sandlot. And then they made they made stupid ones. Okay, actually still.
SPEAKER_04I probably watched Sandlock one and then some. So who's the Slot? We had some bullshit on VHS that we would just like watch all the fucking time. I don't know what it was. It was probably some random one that we got.
SPEAKER_05Alright, so my question for both of y'all, who's the sandlock?
SPEAKER_03It's not who is the sandlock?
SPEAKER_05No, who's the sandlock?
SPEAKER_03What is it's what is the sandlock?
SPEAKER_05Who's the sandlock? Who made the sandlock?
SPEAKER_03Is this a question for if I can keep my black card?
SPEAKER_05Who made the sandlock?
SPEAKER_03That's not who is the sandlock. You know who produced the sandlock? Who made the slope?
SPEAKER_05I'm not talking about the movie. Talking about inside the movie, the place they was at. All the kids actually made that sandlock, just them themselves. They made it the sand lock.
SPEAKER_03Hi Wan. I'm gonna whole name you on this one. That's good knowledge out of you.
SPEAKER_05I'm trying to be nice and you're looking at me like you still want to do that. Y'all should have known this.
SPEAKER_04I didn't know the kids made the sand lock. Yes. See, I jumped in too far into the series because I'd already built that look.
SPEAKER_05Series. What are we doing here? It ain't a TV show. It's a movie. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Fucking whatever. Franchise? Like what? Okay, franchise is good, but still, the sandlock was one movie, and then one more lit, like a stupid one on like VHS or some shit.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. No, they did. Disney Plus has like eight of them now. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_05I don't like the second one. The second one seemed like a rec like a small little card. Like that love story, dude? No. Especially when the dog jumped the gate that scene way. No, hell.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I don't remember the dog jumping in the second movie. I just remember the guy got the girl.
SPEAKER_05I didn't like that.
SPEAKER_03Isn't there like an air bud, but for like I've watched, I watched like six of them with with Bryce. It started with it started with basketball, the football, to soccer.
SPEAKER_05Airbutt. I put him on my team.
SPEAKER_03We gotta make a pickleball air bud. No. So just saying he's just beating like 30-year-old fucking nah pickleball pat, dude. Pickleball pat's like 81. An airbug can beat pickleball pat. We got something.
SPEAKER_04No, that's a bit of a big thing. Well, technically, it doesn't say a dog can't play pickleball. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05But we're gonna get into this because do you know what pickleball is? It's like no, no, I'm asking you, Jas. Yes or no. Just yes or no? Do you know what it is? Okay. You know what it is, right? Yeah, yeah. Okay, because the question that somebody had for me. Me, and it wasn't you. Okay. Somebody had for me. Basically, do I know what pickleball is? So when Jay texts me about pickleball, you know what I say to him?
SPEAKER_03You just told me I asked you the question. Okay, go ahead.
SPEAKER_05You asked me first, then you asked me that's it.
SPEAKER_03What did you say to me? Some white people shit.
SPEAKER_05Is it wall tennis?
SPEAKER_03You know what wall tennis is? That's like squash, racquetball. Racquet ball. Like racquetball.
SPEAKER_05No, you take the racket and you're smacking it, smacking the ball against the like the rich schnobby white people play the racquetball at the gym.
SPEAKER_03No. You don't know that you literally get in this big cube with four walls and smack it.
SPEAKER_05You just smack the tennis ball against the wall back and forth. That's what I thought it was.
SPEAKER_03You don't know that? You're embarrassed. I grew up in Juniana, bro. What do you want from me? You said that already. I don't know where June is.
SPEAKER_05And then Jay told me to shut up. He told me, don't say no more. What is it?
SPEAKER_03Pickleball. It's like it's like tennis and ping pong combined.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_05So we're gonna go room.
SPEAKER_03You gotta stay out of the kitchen. Stay out of the kitchen. You gotta dink. Lots of dinking. That's old people are really good at it. Yep.
SPEAKER_05I bet they are.
SPEAKER_03My brother's not really good at a moving involved.
SPEAKER_05Well, I guess your brother's gonna have to show me how to play or somebody because I have no idea what the hell they do.
SPEAKER_03We're gonna go. I'm gonna take it. Because my brother's been bugging me to get out. Why not bring Taiwan to the first open, open whatever I session I go to? Okay. Because I'm gonna teach you. And then we're gonna have an episode with him. We're gonna teach him.
SPEAKER_05So we bring the so we bring the camera.
SPEAKER_03Oh, we're bringing the camera everywhere at this point, dude. Content. That's what we're here for.
SPEAKER_05I'm mad that Jay didn't take the camera with him. We went to cast our ass.
SPEAKER_03That's because I didn't want people to know about it.
SPEAKER_05Or even when he went to Empire, going to everybody. Oh, you thorough. You thorough.
SPEAKER_03Hey, I wanted to see the video, but I learned from that. That's why I'm now recording everything.
SPEAKER_05No.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_05I wanted to see that video. That would have been a holler.
SPEAKER_03There's no video.
SPEAKER_05No, that's what I'm saying. I wanted to.
SPEAKER_03Well, I probably wouldn't be here if I tried to take a video on Castor app. Let's be real. No, people are nice. Yeah, people are nice. Most of them. I try and be nice to anyone.
SPEAKER_05Jay asked me about Castor. I said, don't go there. Basically, it was right next to Kingston. I said, Are you going to go there?
SPEAKER_04Well, they like go all through all of them. You know what I mean? So it's like it goes through neighborhoods.
SPEAKER_03They're all good.
SPEAKER_04I feel like most of the time you don't bother people. They're not gonna bother you.
SPEAKER_03I try so hard not to, but now I'm a content guy, so I gotta do it. Your job is bothering the shit out of people and hoping that they don't punch me. I don't want to be a First Amendment auditor, but maybe we have to be. I don't know. Oh speaking of that, I gotta give a shout out to Ralphs in South Philly. You know Ralphs?
SPEAKER_05No.
SPEAKER_03You don't know Ralph's restaurant.
SPEAKER_05I think that's what you sent to me.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so we're gonna go there and eat. Find dining experience.
SPEAKER_05Okay.
SPEAKER_03Fine dining. Yeah. Ralphs, Ralphs. Oh, so my best friend. I don't know how to say this without saying his name. My best friend's father figure. Yeah, shout out to you. Okay. He's from South Philly, grew up there, big South Philly guy. Big white guy. Looks like Tony Saragusa. Yeah, I said it.
SPEAKER_05That's a big guy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he is my best friend. He has said, you know what Ralph says. I thought he was trolling him. I thought it was a joke. Because what Italian, it was an Italian restaurant. It's named Ralph's. Turns out it's the most famous Italian restaurant in South Philly. So we should go there.
SPEAKER_05Okay. Yeah. And don't worry, guys, the food's on J.
SPEAKER_03Only if you like and subscribe.
SPEAKER_05I don't have a job yet. You just asked, basically asked my own a date. Pause.
SPEAKER_03The girl I'm talking to on a hinge said I uh I was like, oh, where are you at? She's like, oh, you're calling Taiwan cute. First off, I say it's handsome. There's a difference, guys.
SPEAKER_05Oh my god. That's really a big difference.
SPEAKER_03Not that there's anything wrong with that. But yeah.
SPEAKER_04Which is the starting point. But I mean. So yeah, we're gonna go to Ralph.
SPEAKER_05We're gonna go to Ralph.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Listen, this is how we fight the male loneliness epidemic is fucking hanging out with our fucking friends. When he said this is how we start to fight, I thought he was going for the government.
unknownListen.
SPEAKER_04That's how they get you. You can't fight the government if you're dead. You can't fight the government if you're too lonely to make friends with people to fight the government with.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's a valid logic. You know? You can see my brain in a press work. What do you got?
SPEAKER_05Got me twisted up too. Twist that pretzel.
SPEAKER_03That's like curb your enthusiasm, Leon. You know, if anyone knows who he is, twist that shit up like a pretzel. Bend that shit like Beckham.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03All right. We're winding down here. We're this has been a pretty good episode. Lyle didn't talk that much. He's he's been nervous, but that's okay, because I think we did all right.
SPEAKER_05I think we did good. Me and you. I mean, wow.
SPEAKER_03I give Lyle a C performance.
SPEAKER_04That C student.
SPEAKER_05Don't worry, guys, he will be back though. But today he's just nervous. Like I was. Like a little.
SPEAKER_03No, but I that's why I practiced before I did this.
SPEAKER_04Listen, all I'm saying is half of what uh half of me, I can't talk about. You know what I'm saying? You absolutely don't. Yeah, that's my fault.
SPEAKER_03I take accountability as I always did with Lyle. You know I take accountability.
SPEAKER_04No, for sure.
SPEAKER_03We're not doing that. Love Lyle. We can't talk about the big smile and we can't talk about overthrowing the government. He can sit here and laugh.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Chime in.
SPEAKER_05I mean, he did with an overall.
SPEAKER_03Did wear the overalls.
SPEAKER_04Next time I'll prove that these aren't the only thing I wear.
SPEAKER_03We need Flowey Joey here, dude.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_03That would have been good. It's alright. We still got a great episode out of this.
SPEAKER_04This is what I'm saying. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03He did send me about the aliens. Baby alien was all me. Wow. He was definitely on you. Couldn't wait to talk about him.
SPEAKER_05The guy's got millions of views and followers. He's this big. Like, why? No, he's smaller than that, bro.
SPEAKER_03He comes up at least to your knees. It's bullshit, dude. Why is this guy making money and we're not? Right? He's not the enemy. Who's fucking giving him money? He's not the enemy. You're right. You know what I mean? You're right. He's just a baby alien.
SPEAKER_05No loud. Like he see, there's no phones on the podcast, but I wish you could see it.
SPEAKER_03No, we we changed to you're allowed to have your laptop out for this.
SPEAKER_05Oh sorry, gotta have my phone out for this one? They show him exactly who you look like.
SPEAKER_03I would prefer you wait till Flowey Joey gets here. Okay. Oh my god. All right. You're gonna come on. No, we're wrapping this up right now. This has been great. Great episode. Thank you, Lyle, for coming on. We love to have you back. Yes, sir. We're glad you're okay. Hi, it's always a pleasure. Let's see if you can nail this. Lyle, I want you to say the first one. You're gonna say clear eyes. All right. I'm not telling you anymore. Okay, ready? Lyle, go. Clear eyes. Full heart.
SPEAKER_05Stay thorough.
SPEAKER_03Yes, he did it. We'll be back next week. Thank you guys.
