The Body Drama Shift
The Body Drama Shift is a podcast for women in midlife who are tired of guessing and ready to start understanding their bodies.
Hosted by Amy Wilford, Integrative Health Practitioner and Life & Performance Coach, and Heather Fontenot, Nervous System Coach and Yoga Therapist, this show brings together two powerful and complementary perspectives on women's health — the science-based root cause approach and the nervous system and somatic experience.
Together, Amy and Heather help women move from confusion to clarity — addressing weight gain, fatigue, hormone imbalances, and symptoms that feel impossible to explain. Because your body isn't working against you. It's communicating. And once you understand what it's saying, everything changes.

Whole Body Real Life: A Six Month Plan
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
If you’ve been told to “just fix your cortisol” or you’ve tried one more supplement stack that worked for someone on Instagram but did nothing for you, we get it. Midlife symptoms like weight gain, fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, mood swings, hot flashes, and poor sleep can make you feel like you’re failing at a body you used to understand. We’re Amy (Whole Body Harmony) and Heather (Embodied Rejuvenation), and we built something because we kept seeing the same gap: women need biology and nervous system support together, not in separate silos.
We introduce our new six month program, Whole Body Real Life, designed to fit into actual schedules instead of demanding a total life overhaul. We talk about why one size fits all hormone advice breaks down, using cortisol myths and “cortisol detox” marketing as a real example. We explain how functional lab testing, personalised nutrition and supplements, and a strategic liver detox can work better when your nervous system is assessed and supported with somatic tools, embodiment practices, and capacity building. No shame, no rigid workout plans, no macro tracking, and no “just be more disciplined” energy.
You’ll hear the structure of the three phases (recognise, restore, rebuild), how we use community without pressure, and why we’re limiting the first cohort so we can truly walk alongside you with individual sessions, group calls, and between-call support. If you’re ready to stop guessing and start feeling like yourself again, listen now, share it with a friend who’s struggling, and please subscribe and leave a review so more women can find this kind of whole body menopause and perimenopause support.

Welcome And The Core Promise
SPEAKER_01Welcome to the Body Drama Shift, where we move from confusion to clarity without guessing. Because your body isn't broken, it's communicating. If you're a woman in midlife dealing with stubborn weight, low energy, mood swings, or poor sleep, you're not imagining it and you're not alone. I'm Amy, creator of Whole Body Harmony.
SPEAKER_00And I'm Heather, creator of Embodied Rejuvenation. Together we help you decode your symptoms by addressing both biology and the nervous system. Because real change happens when both are in alignment. Let's shift.
Introducing Whole Body Real Life
SPEAKER_01Hey, welcome back to The Body Dramaship, where we move from confusion to clarity. Today, Heather and I are really excited to announce that we have created a program together. Our program is called Whole Body Real Life, because we really wanted to create something that you could fit into your real life, not something that you were going to have to make major changes to what you already do in life, but something that is going to support you through those things that you already do in life. And we put together some market research. So we got feedback from 10 women about what they really feel like they need and they want out of a program like this. And we have shared the details of what we want to do with those who gave us that feedback. But this is the first time that we're really talking about it. So you are verbally hearing it here first if you are listening to this podcast. And we are super excited to be able to verbalize and to share what we've created. So that's what we're doing today in this episode.
SPEAKER_00Yes, I'm so excited to collaborate with Amy on this and to bring together both of our expertise and experience. I think the program encompasses so much for women, biologically, um nervous system-based. Like it's a very in-depth program. And I'm really, really excited to offer it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And over the course of time, as Heather and I have been working with our own clients, we've talked with each other about different scenarios and things going on, obviously, not using any names or personal details or anything. But as we talk with each other, we're always like, oh my gosh, but this person also needs you. And we can always feel this like energy between us of how like wanting to help the person. I always want to help the person that Heather is helping. And she wants the person that she's helping to work with me. And so we finally, after I think this podcast kind of spurred and validated our working relationship because through creating this, we're like, but wait, we really should do something together.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because I think like it feeds the work that we do individually really feeds off of the other world.
SPEAKER_01And then looking at other programs and other things that are out there, there isn't anything that compares to what she and I could do together. Yes, there are other coaches out there, but we both feel so strongly about that individualized approach that there really isn't anything else out there that comes at women's needs from both of our
Why One Size Hormone Advice Fails
SPEAKER_01lenses.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I want to say that um I heard something on or saw a reel or something on Instagram, and they were talking about cortisol. And I think this was like one of the one of the many, but a big one that stuck out to me to say, oh, we need to combine this. So I saw this reel and they were talking about cortisol. And they were explaining how cortisol in the morning you should do this, this, and this, and everybody's cortisol is at this in the morning. But that is not the truth. We worked on a client together, and we've mentioned this in the podcast before, that like when Amy ran the numbers, the cortisol was really low in the morning. And so it's very different for every person. And what I see out there is a lot of this is what it's supposed to be. So you need to do these things for that, but that might not be the case for every person.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01And just a sidebar on the cortisol thing. I keep seeing these ads for cortisol detox. We don't need to get rid of cortisol. Cortisol's important. We need it. So yeah, there's a lot of like false news out there and a lot of things that Heather and I have done research on, and that we know what the facts are and how our two things can merge together just to make a really give really great results to a lot of women who really need it in our culture that is we've talked about the hustle before. You know, our culture is very much like go, go, go. And I talked to someone the other day who was talking about how she's gotten better, but she used to be, if she wasn't being productive, if she wasn't doing something, she thought she was being lazy. And that's something that we hear a lot. Like, we think people need to go, go, go all the time. And does that dysregulate your cortisol? Yeah, absolutely it does. But that's why that individualized approach helps.
SPEAKER_00I hear with some of my clients, like, oh, when I slow down, like it is so hard. So having support when I do slow down is so important because your brain wants to say, Oh no, I can't slow down, I can't do this. It and it creates all of these stories just to try to keep you safe. And what I've seen, especially with one client I'm thinking of, she you know, having that support has been so beneficial for her to say, Oh, this is what's happening right now. And I could say, Okay, let's do this, or let me help you through that. So I want to name that too. Like when you do slow down, it is it's so unfamiliar. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So from my perspective, I can help with the biology side of it and I can, you know, run the labs and see where someone falls with the labs, not just with cortisol, but with all kinds of other components. And then Heather and I can talk about how that came out and she can, she does her own assessment. So we can pull together both sides of it the biology side, the nervous system side, and really create something individualized for that particular person that supports all of those areas rather than just focusing on one.
SPEAKER_00I work somatically as well. So, and this is how Amy works too. We know that if we work on our mindset, we work cognitively, but we never do anything with the body, like it can stay stuck there. So I work with somatics as well.
SPEAKER_01So you would experience that in this Yeah, and we both work through the life coaching side of it too. So we both are well aware of like, you know, those voices in our head that tell us certain things that aren't true, and how we can work to make our brains work in a better way that makes us feel safe. Because if you're having those negative thoughts all day long, there you biologically it you're not supported. You're not supported from a nervous system regulation, please. And it's deeper than, oh, just change your mindset. You know, we talked about the toxic positivity piece of it. It's it's deeper than, oh, just think differently, just change, just be more positive. It's way, way deeper than that. Yeah. So through our program, we're gonna combine all of these things. And this is going to be comprehensive and individualized, even though there will be a group component to it, each person will have their unique individualized plan based on their lab results and based on Heather's assessment.
The Six Month Framework Explained
SPEAKER_00So it's a six-month program. So we would do that in the first and second mom, where you would get your individualized nervous system program and your lab work with Amy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and we'll also do a functional medicine liver detox within that time because when you clear out your liver, our livers work, we're meant to release toxins. But as we get older, our livers get overloaded and they just can't do it on their own. So a liver detox, and this is not one that's going to send you run into the bathroom, I promise. It's not your typical cleanse or anything else you've tried before. Very research-based, very strategic. And then once we open up those liver pathways, it really helps to support any work that we do in the future. And that includes my work and the work that Heather does. The clearer we are, the better we can access and resource. And this is not going to be a program that's just a bunch of information. You're going to learn, yes, but we don't want to overload you with information either.
SPEAKER_00I would say too, like it's mostly experiential. Yeah, we're going to give you some education, an education piece, but there will be a lot of experiences to really help your body and your mind shift and create less and change. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And what we learned from the women that we reached out to is that a lot of things that they're struggling with are the weight gain, fatigue, brain fog, hot flashes, night sweats, pain, anxiety, and mood swings. And what we found through our practices is that they're not separate things. Everything is all connected. So it's not a separate problem that you're going to go to your doctor, one doctor about one thing and another doctor about something else, and another doctor about something else. We pull it all together and look at everything all at once.
SPEAKER_00Yes. And so we're going to pull it all together and then collaborate together. Because I wanted to say too, like when you we we talked about this before with the detox, we are also going to look at because if your nervous system is in a dysregulated state, and then you do a detox, like that might push you further into dysregulation. And what Amy and I that I think that was another aha moment where we're like, we need to combine this. Because then we're like, oh, we might would do something a little bit different for a person who whose nervous system is really stuck in fight or flight. Again, um, we would look at that individually through each for for each person through the program. And then we might would say, Oh, well, you should sort your detox at this time. Right. Would you say that's accurate? Yeah, I think so.
SPEAKER_01I think for some people, they may need to do some work with you, go closer for a month, and then do the detox. What we're doing is not a set protocol that's going to apply to every single person. Yes, the framework is going to be the same, but deep within the program, it's going to be based on what each individual woman needs. Because that's how you get the best results. And the last thing we want to do is put you in a more dysregulated space.
SPEAKER_00Oh, another
Food And Exercise Without Extremes
SPEAKER_00thing that women asked for was food. Like, is there a meal plan? Is there an exercise plan? Do you want to talk a little bit about body? Sure. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So um that's something that we feel, believe is also truly important. So we also need to, part of the program is also going to be nutrition and exercise focused because what we have seen is that, or what I've seen is that a lot of times most women aren't eating enough. We're still in that eat less, move more mentality to try to lose weight. And that's not what our bodies need. And that's something that makes us feel unsafe and it impacts our nervous system. So uh I definitely believe that we need to have a nutrition component. It's not going to be the main focus, but it will be incorporated into each woman's um plan and what we do. And the same with exercise. Like we've been trained like cardio, cardio, cardio. If you lift weights, you're gonna bulk up. Like all of those things that we've been taught about nutrition and exercise don't apply as much when we are transitioning in perimenopause and menopause or even any big life transition. So, yes, we are going to incorporate that into our program because that's what the people want, but also because it's a part that like we can't leave out. If we're gonna have a comprehensive program, that needs to be a part of it. We need to look at health as a full picture.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and I would say like the exercise uh piece will be assessment bases. Yep, yep, assessment base.
SPEAKER_01And also I want to name that as you go through this process, things are going to change. You're not going to get at the very beginning, this is what you're gonna do, and you're gonna keep doing the exact same thing for six months. We are gonna alter it. It is gonna ebb and flow, and we are gonna adjust things as we go through the process when we see how your body responds and what your body needs. So this isn't a, you know, set it and forget it. We're gonna put this in place and nothing's gonna change. We're gonna work through it. And that's part of the reason that it's a six-month program because it gives us that flexibility to work through things as they come up.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I think that that amount of time gives you real time to see what is happening in the nervous system.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and it also plays into our title, right? Whole body real life. Over the course of six months, real life is gonna happen. Things are gonna happen over six months. So six months really also gives us a time for us to address any roadblocks that come up for you because they will, they always do.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, life happens. So there's some time and space in here for that to help you integrate these things into your life. Yeah. So, with
Calls Support And Small Cohort
SPEAKER_00that being said, in the program, you get the individual session with me, individual session with Amy, and then there's a group component every month.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So you will have three calls each month. And then we also will have Telegram support, which is an app that is basically a texting app. You can text in there, you can send voice memos in there. We can even do short little videos in there if we want to. Um, but that will be our way of guiding you throughout the whole process. So you don't have to wait for the next call to ask your question. You don't have to wait for the next call to get support. Something comes in your up in your life and you're having a rough time, message us and we can work through it with you. So this is also very much us walking alongside of you the whole way. We're not handing you a protocol and sending you off like, good luck, have fun. This is us being with you, holding your hand as much as we need to throughout the process. And also, I want to bring up too, along with that, is that we are limiting, limiting this to four people, four women right now, because we want to be able to walk every step of the way with you. And so by having a small cohort, that's gonna allow us to do that even better.
SPEAKER_00Yes. And as Amy said, like we're gonna help you take the guest workout, it'll help you do what's next and walk with you step by step. I do want to name to Amy like the flow of the months, like for the group program. And
Phase One Build Safety And Awareness
SPEAKER_00of course, this is again where it depends on who comes in the room and we're gonna be assessing and looking at everybody's system. Must one and two, we're gonna build awareness. So a lot of interceptive awareness and the practices we will have on the monthly calls embodiment practices that we do together. And those will the first two months will be to build safety, to build interceptive hormones.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and it takes a little bit for the labs to come back too. So months one and two are really going to be focused on the nervous system side of it, the assessment that Heather um creates, and that will set us up for when the lab results come back.
SPEAKER_00And what I think is beautiful about that too is if we set that foundation of safety and we help the nervous system um become regulated and sort building some capacity, that is the foundation for everything to work. So the supplements, anything that Amy gives you, if if the nervous system is still in a dysregulated state, it's like the foundation is really shaky and it's harder for those things to work. So we want to maximize that opportunity and that window to build some safety so that when Amy gives you your individualized protocol from her, then you already have that strong foundation.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And I just want to bring up too the why the first two months is called recognize and why awareness is so important. Because if you're not aware of it, you can't change it. And I think that's where a lot of women flounder when it comes to being healthy, is that they don't have that true deep awareness of what's going on and what they need. And once you have that awareness, it is eye-opening and it just creates so much freedom. Like, oh, now I know what it is. I don't have to guess anymore. I don't have to keep trying this supplement or that supplement or getting frustrated because this, that or the other worked for this girl on Instagram and it's not working for me. I must be doing something wrong. Like it is just so freeing and so empowering when you know and you're aware of what's happening. So
Phase Two Restore With Labs
SPEAKER_01months three and four are where we restore, and that's where we truly bring everything all together. That's where your labs are ready. We have a better idea of what your specific body needs based on your labs. We're gonna look at whole foods first and then supplementing if we need to. And we're gonna target what your body actually needs, not just some generic stack of pills that somebody gave you, because we all, you know, nobody wants to take handfuls of pills all day long. We wanna find the right supplements that are gonna fill the gaps that the labs tell us that you have. And it also, you'll start to see progress a lot quicker than what you've probably already been doing for the past two or three years. And we're not, well, I wanna tell you too that with the nutrition piece of it, we're not counting macros, we're not counting calories, you're not gonna be tied to logging everything all the time. As I said, it's going to fit into your real life.
SPEAKER_00I'm glad you mentioned that piece because this is not about shaming yourself, not about beating yourselves up. If you're anything like me, you've done that for long enough. So that is not what this program is for. It is to meet your body where it is and support it in what it needs more.
SPEAKER_01And I also want to say that because we're having such a small group of women participating in this. If you ever, ever feel like we give you something and you're like, I can't do that. I'm not doing that, I can't do that. That doesn't fit in my life because of this, that, or the other, then we can work with that. We really want the opportunity to get to know you. What does your life look like on a daily basis? What can you add? We don't want to push your capacity. We want you it to be sustainable and manageable. And if it's not, we want you to tell us.
SPEAKER_00I don't know what to say. I mean, that that's what helps capacity grow. Great. Because if you're always pushing, you're keeping yourself in a state of dysregulation.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, let me rephrase that. We want to expand your capacity in a way that doesn't feel like you're drowning. We want to slow, slowly build your capacity so that you feel like you can take on more and that those things that come up in your life don't drown you. You feel better, able, you're you have more capacity to get through those, to manage them in a very positive way.
SPEAKER_00And from the nervous system perspective or somatic result perspective, uh, months three and four restore will start to um like move some things through your body that have maybe have been stuck there for some time. Um, so that's what that phase is for. After you've created safety in months one and two, the second phase is to start to kind of move some of that around. And again, as Amy said, it would be it's gonna be done in a way that's that's supportive for your body. So you won't be flooded with, oh, I I need to, I need to move through these certain things that have kind of kept me stuck. We don't want to bring all that up at one time. This is gonna be a very, for lack of better word, titrated experience.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, this is not an overnight fix. So I want to be very clear about that. I know a lot of times that that's what people are looking for is a quick fix, but there's no such thing as a quick fix when it comes to regulating our bodies, whether it's balancing it out our biology or whether it's creating safety in our nervous system. These things take time. So that is another reason that it's a six-month program, is because you didn't get into this state overnight. It built up over time. So you don't come out of it overnight either. So we're not trying to do a quick fix solution here. It's a six month program so that afterwards you can continue and you don't fall right back into where you already are right now.
SPEAKER_00Yes, like lasting sustainable change that is really experienced in the body so that you can, yeah, you can continue it. It actually
SPEAKER_01Yes. And that awareness for us too is how we help you. So not only do we want to build awareness, you to build awareness for yourself, but we also want that awareness and clarity so that we know what's happening for you and we know how to help you best.
SPEAKER_00And then
Phase Three Rebuild Lasting Capacity
SPEAKER_00our third phase in most five and six is rebuild. So that's the final phase. It shifts from calming and processing to building, so strengthening your nervous system.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So you're going to rebuild all those things in your body that we've kind of been plunging through and kind of undoing. So if you have some things going on in your gut that need to be resolved, then in those three months three and four, we're really focusing on like getting some of those toxins out of your body and getting rid of some of that bad bacteria that you might have in your gut and balancing out those cortisol levels. And then months five and six, we're building you back up to where you're supposed to be. Cause that part, that piece is important too.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So you will start to build some capacity there and have the strength to continue, as we said, because we want this to be lasting changes for you.
SPEAKER_01And this is also the phase where like those new patterns that we've been working on stop being something that we practice and they start being something that you're actually just living without even thinking about it. Like brushing your teeth, getting out of bed in the morning, you know, those kinds of things that you do automatically. Like part of the goal of months five and six is for those things to become automatic. You don't have to think about them anymore. It's just something you do. It's how you live, it's what your life looks like now in this place of regulation and balance and clarity.
SPEAKER_00So it'll show up outside of you too, like Amy said. The actions sort to meet what you've been doing and what we've been talking about and processing through the whole time. And it starts to show up outside of you in how you respond rather than react, how you're present in moments to make the decisions that are supportive for you. Because sometimes when we when we're dysregulated, it's like Amy said at the beginning of the pro like the beginning of the program, we're not aware because our decision making is not clear. We don't know siriety of what is really happening. So by the end of this, we know that you will have the sorety to make better choices in the problem.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and you're leading down the path that my room was going to, Heather, which shows me again that we're so in alignment with each other. But
Ripple Effects On Work And Relationships
SPEAKER_01like we talked about the different physical symptoms that you are probably experiencing the weight gain, the hot flashes, the mood swings, all of those. But I also want to bring up the change in your relationships. So our goal in this program, too, is to help you once your body feels good, your relationships are automatically going to improve because you are more present, as Heather just said. You have more energy, you are not frustrated and depleted by the end of the day. I talk to women all the time who are like, Yeah, my husband told can tell that I'm different now and that I'm not my happy, easygoing self that I used to be. And that's, you know, this doing something like this and supporting yourself is also supporting your family. It's supporting your relationships because when we feel better, we show up better. And when we show up better, we feel even better because we know we're showing up better. So it's like a really great cycle to go through to be able to change every aspect of your life. You'll be more productive at work. You're gonna do your job better. You know, I talked to um a nurse the other day, like her job is super important. And she doesn't need to have brain fog while she's, you know, working with patients and things like that. So you just think about how much benefit you will have to other people when you're in a more regulated state, when your body is more balanced. And I tell people all the time, too, like, we don't realize how much energy it takes to try to ignore all these symptoms. Plowing through and trying to push this stuff to the back of your brain takes up a ton of energy. If you don't have to do that, think about how much energy you're gonna have. I mean, you know, personal story when I left my job that was super toxic that I was in for 20 years, my mother was nervous because she knew I was taking a pay cut. But then months later, she was like, Oh my gosh, I see such a shift in you at how much more calm and relaxed you are than when you were in that job. So other people notice they're probably more aware than we are because they're with us on a day-to-day basis. Not that we're not with ourselves, but it's easy to ignore those things in ourselves, but the people that care about us see it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and I love how you brought up because a lot of people out with teachers or nurses, caregivers. So, you know, when we are caring for others, it means so much more to care for ourselves. So we can have the capacity, have the energy to care for those people.
SPEAKER_01To care for them and for us. Like you can do both. A lot of the women I talk to, I they don't think that they can do both. They don't think they can care for themselves and care for others at the same time, but you kind of have to.
SPEAKER_00That's where I was getting to. That is the most important thing. You cannot care for anybody if you don't care for yourself, if you don't have it within you.
SPEAKER_01I always talk about the airplane analogy with the oxygen mask. Like there's a reason that they tell you to put the oxygen mask on yourself first. We don't do that enough. If you don't put it on yourself, if you can't breathe, then the people around you can't breathe either. You can't help them breathe if you're not breathing.
What You Get And What You Do Not
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Do you want to um kind of summarize, Heather, like all of the things that are included in the program?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, since we kind of paste it out throughout, um, that way it's just here at the end so people would know um that you you get functional lab testing to for confirm what's actually going on. Um personal personalized supplement and nutrition protocol built from your specific results, food recommendations and workout suggestions tailored to your body and your lab results, and one individual session with me, one individual session with Amy, and one monthly group call. So each month you get a call with me, each month we get a call with Amy, and then you have the monthly call. Um, private telegram channel for real support between. Also, I want to mention, Amy, like how important community is, and that's why we created a group component and the telegram component. Because when we have community support, we not only get to see that we're not alone, and I think that's really empowering, and we get the support from each other.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and I think a lot of times too, we get ideas from other people, and they might be ideas that Heather and I don't think of. I get to learn new things from the women I talk to all the time, but I'm like, oh, I'm gonna use that. It's great. So yeah, the community piece is really important and it can be a lot of fun too. And it's not gonna be uh, I had one person give me feedback. She was concerned about like sitting in a room and going around, talking around a room and sharing. Like it's gonna be very casual, very low-key, not a lot of pressure. If you don't want to talk, you just want to listen, then you're welcome to do that. So it's gonna be very low pressure.
SPEAKER_00I know we have incorporated too is some movement attention breath practices. So what I like about that is like you don't have to talk. Yeah, we can still be together in a community where we're healing and um growing. I liked that, especially in the beginning, because that created some safety for me to be with other people, but not having to be so vulnerable. So telegram and then access to Amy and I's other programs. Um, so you can have opportunity for that. It's a plan that's done for you, step by step, no guesswork, and um highly individualized and tailored to you.
SPEAKER_01So I'll summarize too, then just want to share what the program is not. Okay. So it's not an extreme protocol, it's not a pile of pills, it's not a program that is gonna require you to demand to overhaul your entire life overnight. Will there be some shifts in your life? Absolutely. But we really want this to fit into your life, not the other way around. We're not gonna count macros, we're not gonna log every meal. There's not gonna be a rigid workout schedule or anything like that. There's gonna be no blame or shame. We're not gonna tell you, oh, just be more disciplined. Oh, you didn't do it this way, you didn't do it right. So whatever. There's none of that. No pressure. Um, it just some clear, specific recommendations that you can use and pulling it all together. And the goal isn't just a few weeks of motivation. We want to give you tools that you're going to be using a year from now, two years from now, that are going to carry you through the rest of your life. We want this to be sustainable. That's very, very important to us.
SPEAKER_00And we want the shift to happen from within. Because when the shift happens from within you, then last and change happens.
SPEAKER_01Right. And I remember telling someone one time I was doing macro counting and it was really effective. I did it for like three or four months. I lost weight like I wanted to, all of the things. And then I remember talking to a doctor, and she was like, and I was like, Oh, would it really work? She's like, Are you still doing it? I was like, no. And she's like, well, then it didn't work because it's not sustainable. If something only works in the moment and it's not sustainable, then it's not really working. So this is gonna be, we're getting this rolling. We
Beta Details And Upcoming Webinar
SPEAKER_01have not announced our launch date yet, but that's coming. We are going to do a webinar also on August 24th. So we will have information about how you can get registered for that. But the overall view of it, it's a six-month beta program. So as a founding member and our beta program, it's going to be a lower price. We're not gonna discuss that right now on this podcast. But just so you know, our first people who are founding members are going to get in at a lower rate, a lower investment. We are, as I said, we are limiting it, limiting it to four women to start for this first round. And then eventually we kind of talked about maybe expanding into a year-long format, but that's down the road. We're gonna do this first and it's gonna be amazing. And then we'll see where we go from there.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we're really excited about it. I think it's gonna be a super supportive program for people. I think, too, for me, this has created something that was missing in my life.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, this is something I wish I had like 10 years ago. When I was in that horrible toxic job situation, something like this would have saved me. Like it really truly would have. I wish I would have had us 10 years ago, or I mean five years ago, three years ago, two years ago, whatever. Like, yeah.
SPEAKER_00That's priceless. And for the amount of money I have spent to get to where I am. Um if I want to have this, I would have said it's a lot of money.
SPEAKER_01Because we were both trained, we both got our training because of what we were going through. Yeah. Because we weren't getting help from other people. We got trained ourselves so that we could heal ourselves first. And now we're going out into the world to help other people heal.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. This is a for me, this is an over a decade of of research, of trying different things, of learning different things, of many programs, um, investing in myself over and over again to get myself to this place.
SPEAKER_01And I will say, Heather, I have known you for what do we figure, six years, and you have grown so much in that amount of time. And that's because of the work that you've put in and truly valuing what you do.
SPEAKER_00And myself. Like we we named that in here, but like that shift of knowing that first and foremost, taking care of yourself is everything. It affects everything.
SPEAKER_01And we're not saying that it's easy. It's not, it's not easy to take care of yourself. It's not, but it's so, so important.
SPEAKER_00And and you know, people always say, like we hear it over and over feel your own cup, fill your own cup, fill your own cup first. But like, like Amy said, that it it's it's not easy.
SPEAKER_01And that's why we're here to help you along the way. And like I said, if I would have had someone like me or Heather back when I was really struggling as someone that I could count on and rely on, and I could say, hey, I'm having a tough time right now. Help me process through this. That would have been huge. And we we both still have our own coaches and mentors that we work with because having that person is like everything. And it's usually not your spouse, right? Your spouses are helpful, they're your rocks, they're your confidants, they're your best friends, all of those things, but they don't have the training that Heather and I have to support you as much as you need. And it's also harder to talk to someone who's in the situation with you.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, there's there's so much, there's so much tied up in that and then like an emotion, a deep emotional connection. So yeah, you need somebody who's gonna see your blonde spots and see you clearly and can give you the compassion and care that you need.
SPEAKER_01Right. And you're, you know, your significant others, let's face it, they love you and they're gonna sugarcoat things and they're gonna tell you things just to make you feel better in the moment, but they don't know how to dig deeper to help you truly process. They're gonna protect you and they're gonna sugarcoat everything because they love you and they want to support you and they think that's how they support you.
How To Reach Us
SPEAKER_01Right. Well, if you want to connect with us to ask any questions, probably the best way for me is send me an email, Amy at Amy Wilford Health.com.
SPEAKER_00And for me, you can send me an email, Heather at embodiedrejuvenation.com. And either you can email either of us about the program, and we'll connect and talk to you. You don't have to email us both. So just reach out to one of us and we'll connect together if you're in.
SPEAKER_01I also use Amy at whole bodyharmonycoach.com.
SPEAKER_00Okay. All right. Well, thank you for listening, and we will catch you on the next episode. I'm Heather, nervous system coach and yoga therapist and founder of Embodied Rejuvenation. My work is rooted in the belief that lasting transformation isn't just about knowing what to do. It's about your nervous system feeling safe enough to actually do it. I know what it feels like to be capable, smart, and driven and still feel like something is holding you back that you just can't name. Through nervous system assessment and high touch coaching, that's exactly what I help women uncover. I also deeply believe in the power of women healing and growing in community, which is why community is woven into my programs and why I host retreats for women who are ready to go deeper together. If any of that sounds like what you've been looking for, I'd love to connect. You can book a call with me at embodiedrejuvenation.com. The link is in the show notes.
