Placed for Prayer

We have been placed in a position to pray. To bring the presence of the Lord where we open our mouths in prayer.

King of Kings and Lord of Lords, you have placed us in a position of authority and prayer and your spirit. God, I don't even think I can fully grasp what that means. You hear the prayer we speak, God. That's not a small thing. Thank you, Lord, for hearing. You're not a God who turns his back on his people. You're a God who hears and listens. And you delight when we come to you, Lord. It's not a burden to you. It's not something that you have to endure. Thank you for this time and your presence, Lord. Don't let me waste it. God, your presence is powerful. And I pray, Lord, that your presence would be felt in my family, that your presence would be felt in my home. God, that the people who walk through my doors would feel your presence, Lord. Bring peace with your presence. Bring strength with your presence. Bring discernment. Bring healing. God, everything that your presence holds, let it be here in my home. Let it be in this business that you have given us, Lord, to run. God, teach me how to use prayer to bring your presence wherever I go. Direct my feet down the paths that you want them to go, Lord, so that your presence can go there too. God, bring your presence into the homes of these people who are listening. Bring your presence into our businesses. Bring your presence into our state, into our cities. And God, let it bring revival and healing with it, Lord. Teach us what that means. God, don't let these prayers be small. Give us strength to step into the calling of prayer, God. That we would know and discern what to pray. That we would open our mouths in prayer, God, boldly, easily. God, let the words flow for the people who are listening to this, the people who long to pray, God, the people who want to open their mouths again in prayer. God, for me. Let the words flow freely. God, bring them to our minds constantly. God, let your name be glorified in it. Let this be a house of prayer, Lord. Let my home be a house of prayer. Let my body be a house of prayer. What you've given me, Lord, let it be a house of prayer. Lord, strengthen the people that you have called to prayer so that we can rise into this calling, Lord, and not stomp on it, not ignore it. God, it's a high calling. Open the mouths of your people, Lord, to pray to you again. And do miraculous and awesome things through that prayer, God. You have given us a position to pray. And Lord, let us take up that position. Open our mouths to speak again, Lord. Amen.
