It’s heavy on my heart today to pray for the Church to PRAY. May it be the fire of this revival.
Lord, would you do revival again? Do again what you've done in the past. Wake up your people for revival. Let the prayer of your people ring out all over the churches of this nation, all over our world. Wake us up to prayer again, Lord. Open our mouths to speak to you again. Break off distraction, God. Break off the lies of the enemy that we have to be silent or that we're too busy to pray. Do it all again, Lord. Wake up your people. Let us wake up to the power of the prayer that you have put inside of us. Let no scheme of the enemy against prayer in your church stand. Crush it, Lord Jesus. Let people have their eyes open to the importance of prayer. Give us the strength to do it all again, Lord. Give us the strength to die to ourselves, to die to the things that we want that our flesh craves. Lord, let your people pray. Let your people come before you again. Constantly, Lord. Wake up entire churches to prayer. Let it start now from here, God. Let this be the spark of revival, that your people would stand up and we would pray again. Let everyone who is hearing this, the sound of my voice, Lord, let their ears be open to your voice and to your calling of prayer. And God, don't let us lose the fire for it. Keep it burning strongly inside of us to open our mouths in prayer, that we would not back down from this, that this would be a new era of revival and of stirring in your church. God, that we would see again revival happen, that your people would turn to you, Lord, that this nation would turn to you. Pour it out through your Holy Spirit, Lord. Let us see it like we've never seen it before. Like nothing that this generation has ever seen. Lord, for the people who are starting revivals now, who are pouring into revivals and into evangelism. Strengthen them, Lord, and rise up people to pray behind them. Your church, Lord, let us stand in the mission that you have given us again. This is all for you, God. It's for your purposes and for your kingdom. And Lord, give us what we need to do it well. Let our love for you not just be in words, but in action too, with our prayer, Lord. Give us what we need today to stand in that prayer, to stand in that revival, and to claim it in Jesus' name. Amen.
