Scripture from today’s prayer:
Psalm 34:8-14
John 14:27
Psalm 16:11
I will lack no good thing. Lord, let that be my declaration over my family. Don't let my children lack joy. Don't let them lack hunger and thirst for righteousness. Pour out a new measure of hunger on my family, Lord. Pour it out on me. Don't let me hunger and thirst for righteousness. Don't let me lack that hunger, God. Pour it out in a new way. Don't let me lack clarity of my mind, God. Don't let me lack wisdom and grace and compassion. Don't let me lack kindness and joy, the fruit of your spirit, Lord, let it be poured out on me more than I've ever experienced it, God. Don't let me lack. And God, pour out your presence on me. Pour out your spirit on me, God. Pour out healing. Pour out boldness, Lord. I will lack no good thing, God. Pour out your spirit. Let me understand your word like I never have, God. Let me lack humbleness and love of your presence. God, I want to see you. Those aren't just words, Lord. Open the floodgates of your presence, God, as much as I can handle. Let your anointing of healing, your anointing of your word be on me, Lord. Touch my mind so I can speak your words. Bring your word to my mind as I'm praying, Lord. Give me the ability to memorize your scripture easily. And then bring it back to my mind, Lord, as you see fit. God, let prayer be on my lips constantly. Don't let the moments of these days go by without touching my mind and bringing it back to your presence, Lord. Don't let me slip out of it. Don't let me lack the hunger of your presence. God, give me the ability to seek peace and pursue it, like your word says. May I seek your presence instead of swirling in the anxieties of this world. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. God, don't let my heart be afraid. You are my refuge and my fortress. You are a stronghold for me. This world has nothing on you, Lord. Remind me of that, God. Let righteousness. Let righteousness pour from your presence, Lord, as I sit here and soak it in. Your word is truth. Your word does not change. It's the same yesterday, today, and forever. And God, let the promises that I speak over my family from your word ring true, Lord, because it is truth. Give me the boldness to declare in faith what you have spoken. And God, in your awesomeness and your might and your power, pour it out. Pour out your promises on my family, Lord. Give me the strength to declare it. Lord, I love your presence. It's a fullness of joy here. Don't let me lose the love for your presence, Lord. Renew it every day. Let each morning be new mercies, like your word says, Lord. Pour out a new measure of love for you over me, Lord. And a new measure of the hunger for your presence. And God, release every gift of your spirit over me as I sit here in your presence. Bring restoration, bring hope, and bring healing. And God, bring revival. Pour it out, Lord. Amen.
