Lord God, my soul thirsts for your presence. Like a deer pants for water, my soul wants your refreshing life, your life-giving water. Nothing in this world can satisfy the hunger in my soul for you, Lord. Let my heart find its satisfaction in your presence, God. Let my soul go hungry. Fill me with your satisfying joy, Lord. Let my heart overflow with strength when I come to you instead of the world. Renew in me a hunger for your word, Lord. Renew in me a thirst for righteousness. Let your voice and your word be the only thing I listen for. Renew me in this, God. Pour out a new measure of dreams and visions for where you're leading me. Let my heart be content to find all my satisfaction in you, Lord. You are my rock. You're my redeemer. You're the one who brings refreshing like the rain. You bring the new air to breathe in these mornings, Lord. Your mercies are new every day. Great is your faithfulness. Your word does not return void. You're of a giver of life. Each day is filled with your presence, Lord, and I don't deserve that. God, let your presence be in this day. My soul long for the satisfaction I find in your presence. God, don't let me look for it in other things. God, keep my eyes on you. Give me the strength to keep my eyes on you. Give me a pull and a draw to come back to your presence every single time my heart starts to wander, Lord. Don't let me go astray from your presence. It is here that the power is, Lord, that I find strength, that I find joy, contentment, all the things that I can't find anywhere else, Lord. Not because I need it for some reason for myself, Lord. This is not selfish. This is because you give it to me, Lord. I want to receive your gifts. Pour it out on me, Lord, in a new measure. Reward my seeking with your presence, Lord. Let my heart be fulfilled here. Pour out refreshing in my soul like the rain refreshes the crowns, Lord. You are my strength. Let my soul look for you here. Let my heart be content here. Amen.
