Can losing your Instagram account change your entire business? This episode starts with a conversation about wellness trends, NAD therapy, supplements, dopamine, processed food, and whether everything we eat is actually trying to kill us. From microplastics and nicotine studies to cold calling and social media marketing, absolutely nothing is off limits.

Then realtor and social media strategist 𝘼𝙣𝙖 𝘽𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩e shares the unbelievable story of having her Instagram account hacked, spending six months fighting to get it back, and dealing with fake posts, fraudulent Meta ad charges, and losing thousands of followers. Instead of giving up, she rebuilt her brand from the ground up and turned one of the worst moments in her business into motivation.

Along the way, the crew swaps stories about surviving on questionable diets, why phone calls can be more terrifying than public speaking, entrepreneurship, building a personal brand, and one college party that changed everything. It's funny, unpredictable, and packed with honest conversations about health, business, resilience, and the reality of growing online.

SPEAKER_03

And just like that, you're here. Welcome to the PBNJ podcast, where things get a little messy, a little bold, and definitely not fucking boring.

SPEAKER_01

We're serving up some real talk, some hot takes, some conversations you probably shouldn't have, but we're having them anyway.

SPEAKER_00

So settle in. This is PBJ. Help us save the whale.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so we left off talking about things that are inserted, and there was like a mixture of context between NAD and how you take NAD, which is a peptide. So you can take it orally with pill form, or you can get a shot in the butt.

SPEAKER_00

And I misunderstood the shot for entering the because she said it's a massive pill, it's hard to swallow. And then you were like, oh, so you take it to you take it in the butt. And I'm like, wow, so this pill is too big for your mouth. She thought I should put it in my butt. It's even better. But you meant to shot.

SPEAKER_01

Correct.

SPEAKER_00

Got it.

SPEAKER_01

Correct.

SPEAKER_00

So on that note, and you're telling us about what your mom used to do.

SPEAKER_01

Well, my mom was a nurse. And when I was a kid, she had there were a lot of suppositories that you took as a child to get antibiotics. Because a lot in America.

SPEAKER_03

Really? Thank God I didn't grow up. I've never heard of it.

SPEAKER_01

A lot of kids didn't like taking pills back in the day, so they had to get it in sometimes.

SPEAKER_00

So they just kids enjoy more. Tying them down and stuffing up their butt.

SPEAKER_02

And I'm gonna say something, and my son is gonna kill me. He's 27. And he cannot throw a pill. He cannot. Every medicine that he takes have to be liquid.

SPEAKER_03

Oh sorry, in public.

SPEAKER_01

So that is so interesting. So any medication or any medication they make it in liquid format for all the medications? I mean DR.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, you can you can liquid, take a liquid in all the time. He was sick, now pills. He cannot even now just liquid.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god. So my sister would would take giant pills. She never, you know, you take a pill and you drink water whatever with it. My sister was insane. She'd just take the biggest pill and just like raw, just raw dog swallow it.

SPEAKER_02

And let me tell you this, it's my fault because now I have a daughter and she is the same thing. Because I never give them pills. I mean, for me, take pills is like it's hard. And even I'm a woman. It's really hard. So uh forgive me.

SPEAKER_00

No, it like scratches your way, it like scratches its way down your throat. It's like it does not feel good.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And then people would take them and crush them for kids in applesauce or something like that. See, I still do that.

SPEAKER_00

Like when I take carnitine, which makes you, I guess, burn more fat and sweat more. Um, you're supposed to just take the pill. I just chew that shit. Like that thing's too big. I can't do that.

SPEAKER_01

You can stick it in a smoothie.

SPEAKER_00

That's actually a smart idea. I never thought about that.

SPEAKER_03

But I mean, some things need to be time released. You can't like just like shock your system by like consuming things.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but what you do is you chew it and you swallow half of it and you keep the other half of it under your tongue so that it goes past your hepatic system straight into your bloodstream through the vessels under your tongue.

SPEAKER_03

That's another way you could like absorb it, right? So it goes directly into your into your bloodstream. But my experience with NAD, I haven't really I've taken like the pill form in the past, but my first experience with NAD was with a doctor, and um and they literally say you have to stay here for like four hours.

SPEAKER_02

Wow.

SPEAKER_03

Right. And I'm like, okay, like what does that mean? And they were like, yeah, so they intravenous, uh, they put it directly into your vein and do a drip. And apparently that's pro that's one of the best ways to absorb NAD, right? Uh directly into bloodstream. But like your body starts to go through like this uh burst of energy, and they have to like supervise you to make sure that like you're um that like that you're okay, right? Because it can be a little overwhelming, and then you can feel like you know, heat coming from like your stomach and things like that. They were like telling me all these crazy symptoms. Long story short, I didn't do it, right? Because I was like, I was getting a little too paranoid from from all the uh side effects, but like a lot of people swear by it, like it's it's good for like energy, it's good for like um anti-uh aging and things of that nature. But another interesting component about NAD is that they make you sign a waiver also because like NAD can potentially stimulate uh cancer uh growth in your body if you're currently have cancer of some kind in your body. So it like expedites.

SPEAKER_00

Why would you ever take this? I mean, most people who have cancer don't know they have cancer, and you find out like when it's like late cancer, right?

SPEAKER_03

So I had to do when I went to like this spa thing and I got like other intravenous things, like I had like um like magnesium and like vitamin, like you know, normal vitamin drip. Like a vitamin drip. Yeah, it was like a vitamin drip. I had to do like a uh um a conference call with a nurse, right? And I was talking to her about NAD, and she's like wanna and she's like we want to make sure that you're you don't have any cancer because it can X it can cause exacerbate. Yeah, it can exacerbate it or like speed it up, so to say. I mean, if you don't have cancer, then yeah, there's a lot of great benefits to it, but how many of us know whether we have cancer or not? So it's a display. That's like a really good point. Yeah Oh my gosh. Um, but there's like other things you can take, like MNN. MNN, I think is what it stands for. I I forgot what like the terminology is, but it's the precursor to NAD, uh, which is also a really great thing. And it's another thing that um produces glutathione, which is an all also that's what I take. I take uh MN and I take uh glutathione in the morning. Um it's also great like after you drink. Glutathione is very good because it like um cleans up like your liver, right? So it's like incorporate that with milk thistle. It's like pretty good. Anyways, long story short, if you're gonna do NAD.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_03

Um sometimes people like ask you weird cancer questions before you're doing it.

SPEAKER_01

Doctors are in on the PB and J show this morning.

SPEAKER_00

Apparently.

SPEAKER_01

Doctors are in.

SPEAKER_00

So the only thing I think I take is tyrosine in the morning because I can't I have a low dopamine, which usually presents itself as Parkinson's, but can also present itself something called restless egg syndrome, yeah, which is like misery. Um tyrosine helps your body produce dopamine. I stopped the word dopamine patches like forever, but or until there's some new advancement.

SPEAKER_01

I want a dopamine patch. What do I get one of the things?

SPEAKER_00

So here's the thing, and this goes back to what you were saying. So when I went, so for years I struggled with restless egg syndrome, which is like at night where you go to sleep, you get pain in your legs if you don't move. So if you don't move, you start to get pain. So you have to like constantly fidget to stop the pain. So you can't sleep. It's like sleep deprivation torture. Um, but beginning of last year, they came out. So for years, the way it was treated was this thing called lava dopa, where you could take it in a couple forms, I guess, but it had side effects over time, but you'd be taking it forever. They have these new patches where you just stick it on your skin and a time releases through your skin over 24 hours. But when when you go and get it, the doctor's like, You need to we need to talk to you and we need to start slowly because this can have one major side effect. If you take too much dopamine, you lose your ability to gauge risk. Oh, and so what has happened is people have like over taken too much and gone to the casino and like blown their life savings, and then two hours later they're like, What did I just do? Wow, yeah, I wanted to do that. I thought he was kidding, and he's like, No, this is like for real.

SPEAKER_03

Do you feel like you're a a better risk trait taker now or or not?

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, I'm like getting addicted to all kinds of drugs now. No, I um I I didn't get that, but like that's why he was like, We gotta start you with one milligram, and then it's like all right, now we're up to two. But like one of my mentors, he has Parkinson's, he's really he's he's like 90. He takes a 60 milligram patch, and that thing is like enormous, huge, yeah. But he has no dopamine, he has full Parkinson's, so like this is like keeping him going, right?

SPEAKER_03

But don't dopamine, doesn't that make you like happy and like it's not what it kind of does.

SPEAKER_00

Well, serotonin does as well, I guess, but um it's it's yeah, it's more like energy or whatever. So if I didn't wear my patches, first of all, I know that night I'm not gonna be able to sleep, but I will feel more like run down and more just like lethargic. Because sometimes I do forget to put the patches on. Got it. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, if some medication have side effects, why are we gonna take it? I mean, that that's the thing I do not understand.

SPEAKER_00

Because the majority of people will not experience the side effect. It's like a vaccine, it's like, all right, if a thousand people take this, three people will die. But if nobody takes this, five hundred people will die. So it's just like most people are gonna be good, some people are gonna struggle.

SPEAKER_03

And I guess it's like you outweigh the the con with the pro, right? Like, like, for example, if I told you that your head was gonna fall off if you didn't take this pill, but you would lose your feet, you'd probably be like, I want to keep my head, right?

SPEAKER_00

So I think like a lot of people measure like the risk to see like if but it's even more like you would get to keep your head and five percent of people lose their feet. So you might not even be one of the people who lose their feet. Realistically, you won't be, but five percent of people will be.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe exactly maybe. How do I know?

SPEAKER_01

Now we're talking about it if we're if we're talking about that though, I will add in like big pharma and big food are in bed together. So if you go to a grocery store, every single thing you buy at the grocery store is not good. Everything, everything is not good. There's microplastics, there's there's parasites and things, there's all everything is good for shelf life. I mean, everything we're eating is killing us anyway. So I will probably take something that I think might work rather than what we've been consuming. Look at McDonald's. There should be a warning label as soon as you walk as soon as you go through the dry throat at McDonald's.

SPEAKER_00

Like on some like on cigarettes. Yeah, totally.

SPEAKER_01

It should be like this is not healthy for you and could cause potential illness.

SPEAKER_03

This is worse than AIDS. Do not eat it.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_03

And I and I feel as though as like McDonald's used to be very healthy back in the day when they first like were created, right? Because like a lot, I'm assuming so, I'm not sure, but I'm assuming like a lot of the food was like not processed, it was made like from scratch, and as they grew, they had to figure out how to like cut customs down, how to make things look like last longer, or how to make things taste better, you know. And unfortunately, the the commercialized aspect of that has like you know affected our nutrition. Um but I I I feel as though as long as you have like a a healthy lifestyle and you're consuming healthy foods, right, whether they're organic or not organic, and the whole organic thing is like another thing that a lot of people are saying is a bunch of bullshit, also. It is, right? That's right. Yeah. Um, as long as you're eating healthy, you're you know, you're you're keeping your your metabolic uh you know uh information where it needs to be, I think you're good. Um I was I saw this thing on online where this doctor was talking about all these people um in a blue zone that were living over a hundred, and there was the males that were living almost over a hundred, and they were all smokers.

SPEAKER_01

Which blue zone was this?

SPEAKER_03

It's the Asian, it's one of the Asian ones, right?

SPEAKER_00

And they were all Japan.

SPEAKER_03

They were all smokers, but the main thing was their lifestyle was a positive lifestyle. They were they they exercised, they they had good relationships with people, they would eat healthy foods as well, right? Um, another thing that they were saying is that nicotine actually has some sort of positive effect on your ability um to stay healthier, right? I can't remember exactly what the aspect was. I would love to see that. But yeah, there was a doc and and all these doctors are now having like arguments with this other doctor because it's like a really big controversy, right?

SPEAKER_00

I can't imagine nicotine helping you. Nicotine is like a known carcinogen.

SPEAKER_01

But maybe in Japan they're using pure tobacco and not including nicotine, which is a carcinogenic.

SPEAKER_00

There's the and the when you said they were smokers, I was gonna say, like, are they smoking like Marlboro Reds? Like, what's in it? You know, because you can smoke tobacco, right? But or you but you can smoke tobacco with the rat poison in it and whatever, like that they use in the cigarettes here. And another part of it is so it's not even the McDonald's and things like that. I mean, yes, they did want to cut costs, yes, the quality of the foods they used started going down, but a big part of it is more that the population went up. And so, like, if the population 10x's, we don't have 10 times as many farmers, which means the cow has to produce 10 times as much meat. Well, how do you get a cow to be 10 times as big? Right? You gotta like inject it with a bunch of shit. Right, okay, perfect. So you're having that happen, which is like if but if you go to Europe or somewhere, they're like, I'm not doing this shit. Like, we're not, we just don't, it's the restrictions, you're not even you're not allowed to. Whereas here the food regulations are so lax, they're like, Yeah, baby, just pump that cow for the hormones, no biggie.

SPEAKER_03

And I was like looking up, like I was like curious because like I used to smoke back in the day, you know. Reds and red. I smoked everything. Okay. Um, so you know, pure nicotine offers promising therapeutic benefits for specific neurological and inflammatory conditions, such as uh research shows it can improve focus, short-term memory, and motor functions. It also actively studied um as a medical treatment for Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Tourette's syndrome, ADHD, and ulcerative colitis.

SPEAKER_00

I will believe that it has benefits. Like every drug can provide you some better feeling, which is why people take drugs. My problem is like meth makes you feel better, but it also costs you your teeth, right? Like nicotine might make you feel better if you're not sure.

SPEAKER_03

If you smoke, it probably affects your teeth. Tobacco is not.

SPEAKER_00

Every drug, I understand, but I'm saying, like, and I understand there are some benefits that nicotine might provide to you, but the downside is you get to have one of 16 types of cancer. Like, is that the trade you want to make? I think no. There's other things you could take to give you those benefits without the negative of the 16 types of cancer.

SPEAKER_03

Maybe so. I mean, it's it was just interesting to see how something that has a uh a stigma on it is actually showing that it's doing the opposite, right? It's making people live longer, right? I'm not saying go out and smoke. Yeah, right. I'm just saying it was very interesting to see how all these another interesting thing was like people who are living longer actually have extremely high cholesterol levels. Extremely high, right? So that's another thing.

SPEAKER_00

Like I gotta see these studies. Like, this sounds like so.

SPEAKER_03

Well, your algorithm your algorithms on your social media, we've already established they're all like based for like a chance. Well, now it's listening to me, it's gonna be showing me why I should be like overdosing in cholesterol. Well, I'm just telling you, like, and this is all studies, they had high cholesterol but low glucose levels.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, that's how a lot of these people were so I would believe reducing the amount of sugar you take in will have wonderful benefits on your health.

SPEAKER_01

That I So it's like what's the uh it's like sugar's worse than than that's about fruit.

SPEAKER_00

My point is like a lot of these a lot of these things aren't studied in a controlled environment in the sense you can be like, oh well, you don't smoke, but you live in like you know, a place where your water and your food is better. So it's like, all right, well, it isn't that you smoked so you live longer, it's all the other things. So if you have 10 different stimuli contributing to something, you can't really get a gauge for which of those 10 stimuli is the thing leading to the result. You need to have like a control. I'm a scientist. You need to have a controlled environment. You need to like you need to have a control set where things are like this, and then you take another set and you only change one thing, and then you look at the difference over our large group, and then you start to see accurate numbers. And then you can change one thing in another set, and then you can look at that and see what the difference is. And that's how you get reliable results.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna I agree with that, and I'm going to welcome everyone to the PB and J show. We didn't even do an intro because we're so badass. Um I'm uh I'm J9.

SPEAKER_00

I'm the beast. Panda.

SPEAKER_01

And we have a special guest today. Do you want to intro your guest?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, another one of the pandas. Well, there's like five of us here, right? Roy's back there. Anna Bracamonte, realtor extraordinary, homegrown in the Dominican Republic, social media coach, um NAD advocate.

SPEAKER_03

Now I'm thinking about it. Realtor something. Like I was looking at your at your uh Instagram. She's the monster social media. Yeah. Uh, and you've got like 39.3k followers.

SPEAKER_00

She was telling her 60. She had 60,000 before she got hacked. Like, she's she got a hell of a hell of a h yeah, I hacked that. Tell us.

SPEAKER_02

Well, let me see. I started social media around six years ago. I don't know so many things changed with COVID. I start after COVID because real estate for me, I'm saying for me, it was dead. So I don't I don't want to keep fighting over there with uh real estate. You mean during COVID? Yeah. So um start social media and I really, really, really love uh Instagram. You know, social media can be TikTok, Facebook, but for me is Instagram. So I start studying and check what is out there and learn about the algorithm is everyday change. But uh and I love it, I love it. And I start creating content and I keep loving it. So that's the way I create my personal brand. And about that time, you don't hear too much about the personal brand. Now it's everywhere. So creating an Instagram with my personal brand is totally different. So today when I start doing that, where would I see my business grow? And uh for me right now it's not about too much real estate, it's more marketing and help other people to put agents there to put their faith out there.

SPEAKER_00

How did you get hacked?

SPEAKER_02

Uh well I cannot say exactly how, but I'm gonna start using another third company to help me with my uh marketing because you know you cannot be everywhere and do everything. So I hired companies, and one day I just cannot log in in my in my account. It took me almost six months to recover my account. I cannot tell you how. I even create another account and I start promoting it. But that's my baby. So I can't. It takes time to build something like that. Exactly. And and for me it was like day and night, just trying to build my personal brand over there. And it's a lot of issues that I have, and you know, I try to not put it on social media, but for me it was like this is my baby. I cannot lose that baby. So I cannot tell you exactly how I lose it. I just say one day I cannot log in. And that's it. And I'm I can't see you know, I can follow my own account and see what's going on, and I see losing every day more uh followers and followers. And I was crying like it's someone in my family dead, like literally. So one day my husband said, You need to stop because you have to, you know, leave that outside and keep going. You stop crying for an Instagram account, and I'm gonna leave. And I say, Okay, but talk about an ultimatum. Yeah, yeah, that's that's happening.

SPEAKER_00

I like your husband already, and I haven't even met him yet.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, everyone said that. Oh my god. I need to stop talking about him because everyone loves him more than me now.

SPEAKER_01

Everyone loves Roy. They're like, Oh my clients that sleek are like, where's Roy? And I'm like, oh my god, if I have to hear his name one more time, like I don't even exist. So I get it 100%.

SPEAKER_03

So were you able to log? So you were able to log back in?

SPEAKER_02

No, I wasn't.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, so you have to make a new created.

SPEAKER_02

I create another account.

SPEAKER_03

And you built it to 40,000?

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

No, no, no, wait, wait, wait.

SPEAKER_03

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_02

I create another account, but I still have this account, then the one that was hacked. I can I cannot recover that account about that time, right? But I'm I not give up because that's my baby. I was working at another account, but I was talking to Facebook, Meta, Instagram, everyone there sending emails. And now I think they know me, they know me by my name.

SPEAKER_03

Are they were they helpful or like six months is a long time. They were helpful. Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_02

Take time, like I said, like take time. They said, listen, keep going what you're doing into a new account because this account is sick. It's sick. You're gonna recover the account. You're gonna recover it. But the account is sick. You're not gonna have the same engage that you have before, and maybe you don't have this this the amount of followers that you used to have. But like I said, that was my baby. I don't want to give up. So I keep doing it, and finally I recover the account.

SPEAKER_03

And yes, I but they just gave they like unlocked it for you.

SPEAKER_01

They could have unlocked like this. Yeah, why didn't it take it take six months?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, no, the thing is that's have but the account. They cannot log in in the account. Not even them. I mean, it's some People out there.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, because they like change. Yeah, but that's ridiculous. I mean, they should be able to somehow access the software, but access, but they cannot recover the account.

SPEAKER_02

So I I get the access, but I lose the access again. It's it's like somebody else was the owner of the account and they changed the login and the password all the time that I'm trying to log in. So I it took me six times just. What were they posting?

SPEAKER_01

A lot of crazy things. I can only imagine. Yeah. Yes. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And I found out she was an OnlyFans model. Non-real estate related.

SPEAKER_02

And even they was asking for money. Like they were asking for. And I own Meta right now $15,000 because they're ads. So I'm fighting that right now.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, hell oh, because they put it on the credit card that was connected to your meta ads account. Holy smokes.

SPEAKER_02

So that was a really, really messed up. But like I said, that was. And who are you fighting?

SPEAKER_03

Are you fighting like the credit card company or meta?

SPEAKER_02

Both.

unknown

Both.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, because it's not yours. That's not my money. I thought I had a nightmare of a story. No. With social media, I think I have a lot.

SPEAKER_03

Don't give them a deep.

SPEAKER_02

You take the cake. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I'm now starting to look into like more meta. Like I'm in the meta suite, and like, oh my God. I feel like it's one of the most confusing things that you can even be on. It's like crazy. But like I'm gonna persevere. Like, uh, we have an event in uh Fort Myers. We ran an ad and like we we got like over 130 signups just running an ad, and we didn't even spend even $100 yet.

SPEAKER_02

You know today, era is social media. I mean, I I I was a realtor a few years ago, like 100%. I used to do cold calling. That was the way I started doing it. Cold calling, I was a hustler. There you go. You don't know. But you cannot talk to so many people at the same time as you do it as a social media.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_02

If you do a correct way, if you do it social media as a professional and and do what you want to do and get um the content out there that they want you and return, you made it. I mean social media today is it's everything. Yeah, it's the way to do business.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I was talking to like a a club owner um where I do an event at, and and and I was and I was trying to explain to him the importance of like social media marketing, and I'm like, and I asked him, Who is your best promoter out there? Right? Yeah, and like he wasn't answering the way I thought he would answer, and I go, the internet is your best promoter. I was like, it's gonna beat anybody with like a flyer, knocking on doors. The amount of reach that you get on social media is like incredible. Yeah, it's incredible, and it's a very interesting world that we live in now where everything's like literally our phone, literally our phone.

SPEAKER_00

Definitely better than cold calling. If I had to have a personal health, it would be sitting in a cubicle cold calling while receiving suppositories. Like if I'd I think if I just designed my own personal health. I've but I've I'm I have horrible call aversion. So even if someone had been like, yo, call me tomorrow and give you a million dollars to invest, I still will be like nervous to call them the next day. Even if they're like, I'm like green light me, picking up the phone and making that call has always like bothered me.

SPEAKER_03

That's a follow-up game, though.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe you don't have to pay bills and you don't know how. So when you need to make money, yeah, I mean, not do everything, but you do a lot of things.

SPEAKER_00

No, I'm saying, even in the beginning when I was starting my business and I had like nothing, and I was okay, so when I started my business, this is this is how because I didn't have any money, I would go to the 7-Eleven and they had these like hot peanuts for 99 cents, these two of 99 cents peanuts, and I would just buy like 30 of those fucking things with like the two for three dollar Gatorades, and for like weeks at a time, my diet was heat peanuts and Gatorade Zero. That was it all day, every day. Peanuts and Gatorade Zero, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. But even then, I was like, someone would be like, Oh, start investing with you, they'll give you a chance, and I'd still be like, uh, should I call them? Jeez, I hate calling people.

SPEAKER_03

That's like a horrible diet.

SPEAKER_01

That's awful.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Look, I prefer I prefer cold calling.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, no, it was cold calling. I prefer.

SPEAKER_03

And now you just eat vegetables. Yeah. That's fine.

SPEAKER_01

I lived on healthy while though, which is awful.

SPEAKER_00

It's like light years worse.

SPEAKER_01

But it was like the Adkins era. So I was doing, you know, I was like, oh, just eat hot dogs.

SPEAKER_00

And hot dog is like ground-up pig in a condom.

SPEAKER_01

It's disgusting.

SPEAKER_03

And like now they're saying like night, there's like a lot of nitrates are a problem. I feel like everything's a fucking problem. Like, doesn't matter what you eat. I'm chewing gum right now and I'm always chewing gum. Right. So like I'm I'm probably have like micro plastics like growing out of all parts of my body.

SPEAKER_00

You can't get away from it. From the invention of Teflon in World War II till they brought it from use it to tanks into the home, microplastics, there was nothing you could do about it anymore.

SPEAKER_03

So, what they say is that um metals that are in your body, one of the best ways to um filter them out is by eating a lot of cilantro, which is which it's an herb, right? Everybody always sees it like on tacos and things like that. Obsessed with cilantro. But cilantro is very good for that. And then for microplastics, um, having uh uh tamarind or tamarindo, right? Yeah, is very, very good for like removing microplastics from your body.

SPEAKER_00

Did you have this when you were a kid in the Dominican Republic? The tamarind balls? Yes, all the time.

SPEAKER_01

Claire okay. We should have brought like some.

SPEAKER_03

Next time we should have like uh a uh our guests need to bring like something for us to like try and consume.

SPEAKER_01

Or we could bring us a native food from interesting, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, or we could do another curry and conversation segment, but doesn't I mean it could be curry? I mean, I'll always go in for curry, but it could be any food.

SPEAKER_03

We could just like pick out so you were telling us no food, please.

SPEAKER_02

This is boring. You can let's have some more strong alcohol. Oh, alcohol. You heard a bottle of wine.

SPEAKER_01

If I have a full bar, there's a whole bar right there I drink. So good.

SPEAKER_00

Speaking of, is everyone coming to the wine and cheese battle on Saturday? Is it this Saturday? I need help battling the wine. There's 30 bottles of wine in my house that are just sitting there.

SPEAKER_03

Everybody gets everybody has one bottle of wine that they have to drink.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you can't go home. You know what's funny? Are you gonna drink and immediately drive home?

SPEAKER_03

Are you gonna drink?

SPEAKER_00

No, I won't drink. I'm just here to make sure. But ever had wine? Uh back when I used to drink, I had had wine before I didn't enjoy the taste of it. In fact, I didn't enjoy the taste of most alcohol, except for like uh rum was somewhat rum wasn't bad because it was sugar-based.

SPEAKER_01

Coconut rum's good. Why you stop drinking?

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

I'll tell the story. Do you really want to hear the story? Go for it.

SPEAKER_03

We're talking.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. So I was 16 in my final year of high school, 17 when I started college, okay? And I went to Massachusetts, which is like I'd never been there, I'd never even seen my college until the dad got there. I hadn't looked, I hadn't gone on tours. I was just like, they were the ones that gave me the money, and it was like far away from Florida, and it was like, let's do it. So when I got there, the school had just built this new campus center that I guess didn't exist the year before. I didn't know it because all I knew was what was in front of me. And they had pool tables in the bottom, and I didn't know anybody. And so I went down there and played pool, and I met this kid, Chris, tall white kid, cool, he was chill. Everyone new England's awesome. Um, and we hit it off, we played pool every day. Fast forward like two, three weeks, the first frat party of the year starts. Now at my school, which was a tech school, it was five men to every one woman. Okay. So you couldn't be a dude and just go to parties, otherwise, just be a bunch of dudes. So there was a list if you were a dude, if you wanted to get go and you had to be on the list, okay? I didn't have friends, but Chris did. And Chris was on the list for I've I can still smell the place for Sigma Pie, which was one of the fraternities, their first party. And he was like, I have a plus one. Will you be my wingman? We can go meet girls together. And I'm like, Yes, what are you talking about? What a weird question. Of course I'll come. And he who this is such a bad story. So the we get there, but we got there late. Okay, so he was like, We need to drink and catch up because we're like behind everyone, we're late. So he like poured five shots for him and five shots for me for the stuff called Gold Schlager. Goldschlager?

SPEAKER_05

God, listen, listen, horrible.

SPEAKER_00

This is this is me. That's like the worst one. Keep in mind, I'm 17. And so bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. All right. So like I'm like swimming on the river of you know half of gold. Of gold. So no, no, no, I'm like feeling good. I'm I've always had a high alcohol tolerance. So my record was 19 and a half shots. Um, so we meet these two girls, like it was two of us, two of them, we start talking, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Right. So he's like hidden. I was a little more reserved. He was like, you know, he could just talk to, and he was just the coolest kid ever. And he's saying to the girl, like, oh, let's go upstairs to one of the rooms, obviously, fuck, right? And so I'm talking to the girl that that that I'm with, that I'm with, and I'm like, Well, we might as well do the same. And I thought she'd be like, No, but she was like, Yeah. So it was like, great. So we woke, both went up and we hooked up with these girls in separate rooms. Um, then the same when we held hands. That day, that day in separate rooms. Yeah. And so the next day or whatever, we like left, whatever. So a month later, it turns out the girl he got with, he got her pregnant. Oh. And she was like, I'm keeping this. And he like dropped out of school and all this shit. And I'm like watching his life like disintegrate in front of his eyes, right? I got lucky. You know what I'm saying? I didn't make some better choice. Like, I just got that could have been just as easy as me. And I was so like, just like watching this happen, so shocked, I was like, Alcohol, you're not my friend. So you stopped drinking so you couldn't get people pregnant.

SPEAKER_05

Um dead ass.

SPEAKER_03

Dead ass. That like scared me for me. It's like for like I don't need any more responsibilities because I'm engaged.

SPEAKER_04

I was just like anyways, what did they name the kid?

SPEAKER_00

Golschwater? What did they name the kid? Golschlager? I don't know. Well, they're married with like three kids now, so it works. Yeah, but that that happens like 1% of the time. Like, holy I just looked at that and I was like, Alcohol, you led me down a path that could have ruined everything.

SPEAKER_03

I think you should drink this Saturday. Yeah, yes, yeah. I'll get you pregnant.

SPEAKER_00

No, I was just trying, it doesn't work. I was just like, nah, I'm good. I was good. Wow. And then I got into a belief system where we couldn't drink anyway, and I was like, oh, that's perfect. I'm ready there.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, I stopped, I I've actually begun drinking again. Um, but I stopped drinking just for like for health reasons, you know? Like after I I had that health scare, like I just kind of quit everything. And then also like I would drink and like my stomach would bother me, and like it just wasn't good. But like I used to drink like cr I would be the the last one standing. Right. Let's just put it that way, right? And I could continue on to the next day if I really wanted to. Um but you've never had to worry about getting someone pregnant. No, I have not. There you go. No, no, no. We're good, we're good. Yeah. So what else should we talk about, guys? Should we end the first segment here?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, let's let's round round it up. Thank you so much, Anna, for being on you know, part one of part two of the PB and J cast.

SPEAKER_00

And now you know what to expect. You get to hear about my pregnancy stories. Yeah, there you go. Bring condoms to your next one.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yes, I do. And I want to end with this. Yeah. Do not give up. Look at what happened with my social media and now here when I I mean, I love what I'm building, still building, and do not give up.

SPEAKER_01

Just keep doing it. I hit a thousand and I made a live because now I can go live on social and I was like screaming.

SPEAKER_03

We hit a thousand also. I can't believe they took that away from people.

SPEAKER_02

I know. And is is is a lot of people out there that doesn't want to see you like success. And um just just for fun. But we're not gonna let them win.

SPEAKER_00

So keep this out because actually for the next segment, I want to start talking because this is something I want to talk about. I like that. I like what you're saying. I love what you're saying. What you're talking about, no, what you're talking about the I I say a lot of things about success and about the chain of success and uh about like the change that try to drag you down that look a lot like the people in your life.

SPEAKER_02

And that's that's one other thing that I'm grateful for.

SPEAKER_00

That's perfect. Perfect. All right. Thanks for joining us.
