Alright, so here we are. It's been a long time since I have gotten the chance to actually sit down on and work on something. Putting forth actual effort into something other than just my nine to five. It's been a really, really weird time in my life, and I finally feel like I'm at a point where I'm able to start doing something again. And I'm sure a lot of you have been wanting to know what the hell Mondo Bizarro is, and why I've been inviting you to like pages, follow things, and all that stuff. So Mondo Bizarro is something that I have had in my back pocket for a long time. Something I had written down and then life happened. This is something that I've wanted to do for a long time, to be able to talk about the paranormal cryptids, metal, horror movies, just weird stuff, things off the beaten path. My goal here is to move beyond just a weekly podcast, but that's something that we can cross when we get there. Now, this isn't something that I plan on doing alone. I have a great friend, a best friend, somebody that I love like a brother, Andrew, that will be co-hosting with me as long as his schedule allows. I'll have guests and surprises and as many things that my time and budget will allow for. Speaking of budget, how is something seemingly so large and ambitious going to be funded? It's coming out of my own pocket. I work a 40 and I sell feet pick, so that should be sufficient to keep this venture afloat, at least for a while. That being said, though, I will have a Patreon and other platforms set up, but let me be very, very clear. You will always get this content for free. The only thing that would ever be locked up behind a paywall are just extra things, bloopers, outtakes, things from the cutting room floor, stuff like that. Members won't get anything earlier or have access to full episodes that anyone else wouldn't have access to. Times are hard. Things are expensive, and the last thing I want to do is make anyone pay for something that gives them a break from the horrors of the day. The last thing I want to add is this. But it isn't gonna be for some crap that I don't care about. It's gonna be from brands, companies, organizations that we either use or support. You are never going to hear me shill from Manscaped or Blue Apron. So, now that what feels like the fine print is out of the way, let's get into the gory details. What is it that you can expect here? We will be talking about the darker side of things here. It can range from paranormal encounters, stories from the internet, from each other, from you. We're going to talk about cryptids, their origins, the history, and some particularly interesting sightings. We're going to talk about horror movies, horror games, Halloween, heavy metal. And and don't get wrapped around the axles about genres. I know the Misfits are a punk band, I get it, but we are still going to talk about them. Some episodes will be solely dedicated to that one subject, some may be a blend and lead into others. It's a toss-up, and it depends on how well it flows. The last part of this is that this will not be a kid-friendly show. Unless you're a cool parent. We will be discussing some very, very dark subjects at times, and let's be honest, those of you that know me know that I make a sailor blush. We're going to say some bad words, talk about some scary stuff, and at times talk about some bad stuff that has happened to people. What's the schedule look like? Much like all things in my life, I tend to have to make it as difficult and as strenuous as possible. We're shooting for weekly episodes. Is it logical? No, but nothing I do is. As time goes on, there will be specials that we do that may have a bit more to them, so keep an eye out for those. And I want this to be very hands-on, an interactive thing. Not just us, but for y'all as well. While audience participation is not required, it would definitely be appreciated. So what's next here? Well, I am recording this Tuesday night, and I will have it edited and uploaded in a couple of hours to formally announce Mondo Bizarro. Then I will turn around and start working on music, scripts, and the little details in the backgrounds. Andrew and I will record on Friday night, and that following Friday, the first episode will be out. Then every Friday from that point on, which the first episode actually will coincide with the 20th anniversary of Texas Frightmare Weekend, which I will be attending and shooting a video for myself for YouTube. So if you see me, come say hi. So ideally, 52 episodes a year, which is a tall order, but there's nearly an infinite well of things to talk about here. So here we go. This is it. The prologue. You gotta start somewhere so it might as well be here. So be sure to follow us on Instagram, Mondo Bizarro underscore podcast, Facebook, and all that stuff, and I'll link it in the details so you don't have to worry about all that. But I want to say thank you before I get off here. I want to say thank you to everyone who has ever tuned in to anything I've been on, anything I've made. Thank you to my friends, my family. Seriously. Thank you. Thank you for always believing in me and supporting all the weird stuff that I do. I love each and every single one of you, and it's more than I deserve. So, like I say, be good to yourselves, be good to each other, but most importantly, keep it fucking creepy.

And it is so fucking hot in here, but it's the only place it's quiet, and it's the only place that won't echo horribly. And there's a fucking fly in here. I've I've got a big fly swatter sitting here next to me. It's an electric fly swatter. I feel like Hunter S. Thompson right now. I look completely insane. Okay.
