Welcome And What We Explore

SPEAKER_00

Welcome to Make Sense of It, the podcast where we explore how the energetic and physical worlds come together to form the unique formula you need to create the life you want. I'm Brooke, an intuitive healer and coach. And for as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with understanding how the world truly works. The universal laws, all things intuition, and neuroscience. Once you understand how it all truly works, you stop guessing. You realize that you are the actual key to the creation and life becomes limitless. Now I'm excited to share with you all the pieces that make a difference that you can actually use. Let's dive in.

Why Mastery Beats Soul Path First

SPEAKER_00

Hello and welcome back. This one has actually been inspired by conversations I've been having recently with clients and with students and with other intuitives, all talking about Soul Path. It's honestly been so inspiring watching people dive into what they are built for and watching them step out of their comfort zone and push themselves towards things they are actually here to do. So we're talking all about mastery skill sets, what they are, why they matter to your soul path, and honestly why we should probably be focusing on them more than the soul path itself in the beginning. A lot of people come to me wanting to know what is their soul path, but like we talked about in the last episode, your soul path is a very unique thing. It's your unique contribution to the world. It's really the only thing that you can bring to the world, and creating it requires you to do things that have never been done before. Just a quick little recap on the whole higher self plan, uh how it is all planned out before we even come into this life. Your higher self made sure you were equipped with all the right skills, the right tools, the memories, experiences, all of it so you could fulfill your soul path. And one of the biggest pieces of that puzzle is your mastery skill set. My goal after breaking this down is for you to see how focusing on your mastery skill sets can actually catapult you forward faster than anything else. You'll hear me use the word potentials a lot alongside mastery skill sets because that's exactly what they are. They're the things that you have the potential to be one of the best in the world at. So your mastery skill sets, your innate gifts, are basically built-in abilities you are meant to excel at in this life. They are the attributes. So think of things like problem solving. It could be communication, it could be leadership, healing, intuition, might be you are meant to be the one of the best in the world at being resourceful or seeing four steps ahead of everyone else. Maybe you're built to understand human behavior on a level most people would never even think to explore. You might be built to master pulling apart aircrafts or trains. There are thousands of these attributes out there, but you were built with a specific combination that you have the potential to be genius level at. And these skill sets combined are what allow you to fulfill your soul path. You genuinely can't do it without them because your purpose relies on putting these pieces together to create that thing. If you haven't listened to the soul path episode, I describe it as, I describe the soul path as this giant puzzle. Throughout your life, you are collecting puzzle pieces, skill sets, experiences, and memories, and eventually you'll get to a place where you can join them all together and create this big, beautiful picture of what you literally are going to create, what your soul path is. And your mastery skill sets are the foundation of that. I like to think of them as like, you know, the straight edge pieces that you go and put together first when you're building up a puzzle. I like to think of the mastery skill sets as those pieces, like starting with them is kind of like creating the frame around the around what you're about to create. This is just how my brain works. Just feeling into this now, I can hear and I can feel that some of you are quietly like rejecting the idea that you are meant to be remarkable or something. But I promise you, you are. And when this really lands for you, you'll probably laugh because you'll realize you've been using these skill sets for most of your life already. They probably just haven't been identified or a name hasn't been put to it. But that instant, like, I can't be special reaction, that's just a whole nother programming. That's not truth. Your higher self didn't stuff up at all. Your higher self gave you exactly what you needed. It chose these skill sets deliberately so that you could be the first person in the world to walk your path. It's this unique formula of skill sets that once you've mastered them individually and then you get to combine them, you'll create something pretty remarkable.

How To Spot True Masteries

SPEAKER_00

So, how do you actually know if something is a true mastery skill set? Well, I use intuition. We use intuition, but you will usually have a general sense of what it might be, but to get that real confirmation, we do use intuition to test the actual percentage, the actual potential level, and your level of ability. And we test this against everyone else in the world, and the best that that skill set has ever been performed. We're actually looking at it on a scale of one to 100, and anything that tests above a 95 is what we would call a true mastery skill set. But anything at that level over that 95 isn't just a random interest or something you'll just do for fun. It's something that you were built to love and built to be one of the best in the world at. The soul won't build a soul path around a skill set unless it genuinely loved it. That combination, being built to love something and having the actual ability to be world-class at it is what separates people who are going on to do life-changing things from people who don't. It's because we stack them on top of each other. The skill sets are the piece that makes everything else sort of make sense because the soul path can be a blur, it can be so disconnected from what our brain knows, what representation actually exists out there, and the human can struggle to see the bigger picture. But when we put the skill sets together, we can start to make sense of the soul path, but we have to embody and master these skill sets underneath first, and it's here where the pieces will start to start to click. And once it clicks, you're really just rearranging the puzzle pieces to see how they fit for you. This is exactly where I kind of am on my soul par soul pool. And now I heavily focus on the skill sets first, on what my heart is really leading me towards. You you really without even without intuition, you can just follow the heart pulls. What do you get sucked into? What are you really good at? What is something that you just have a natural tendency to do? A lot of healers and a lot of people who are here to change lives, you will be like this natural, you will have a natural tendency or a pull. I used to actually call it like an uncontrollable desire to help people, to give people advice, to see if you can find a solution for someone. That could be a very good indication that you have some form of healing skillset or you have a mastery potential for changing lives or healing people. So again, following the heart can definitely be a great place to start, and that's what I would do. And then I just now look at how that thing applies to the other skill sets that I have, and I just play around with that little process to see how it fits together with my path. But because once a skill set is identified, I can actually speed up the soul plan and hit new levels so much faster. Here's the thing: because you're innately built with these skill sets, they don't have to take 20 years to develop, even though the soul was originally happy for that timeline. It was okay for you just to plot along. This is kind of how we collapse timelines, we quantum leap in our lives, is by bringing the things in to the now and tackling them instead of waiting for what the soul was just happy to do. But you can build one of your masteries in around nine to 12 months, depending on how much you put into it. And once you've developed four or five of these masteries, that's when hearing your soul path in more detail really starts to click and you can start seeing things forming. Truth be told, you've been developing these specific skill sets for most of your life already because your life is actually engineered to put you in places where you can unlock different pieces of each skill. Even before you

Heart Pulls And Timeline Collapsing

SPEAKER_00

know your soul path, you'll often find that the careers you had been drawn to or that you're currently in hold a lot of the same attributes that you need through your soul path. Now it's just developed in a different environment because there wasn't a direct representation of your specific path available to you yet. You didn't know how to find it, you didn't have any other example of where to go. And my path is a perfect example of this. And it actually for a lot of people, a lot of us, we talk, I've spoken a few times about how we can feel like we've wasted time or we can be behind. But it's when you actually look back and realize that you've been developing all these skill sets the entire time, you can relax a little bit and give yourself a little bit of grace. But I've had a couple of careers before this. And one, I was a teacher, I was in the education department for about 10 years. And two of my mastery skill sets are public speaking and communication. Yet in high school, in during university, I did not love talking in front of people. I actually hated giving presentations. I would be the sweaty hand kid. I would feel sick. I'd go, oh, I'm the bright red person. I know you all know what I'm talking about. I go bright red, my ears swell up the whole lot. And some reason my higher self pushed me to become a teacher. And I spent a lot of time in roles where I was standing in front of huge groups of people, entire schools, classrooms, you know, all my colleagues, and talking and delivering information. And it's funny because it was just pushing me to develop these skill sets. And looking back now and knowing my soul path, soul pool, there are so many elements of teaching that connected directly to my mastery skill sets and the things that I do on my soul path. So public speaking and communication being two of the biggest skill sets you can build in teaching, but on top of that, I was being able to see people's potentials, their skill sets. I used to teach teenagers, so we're talking fully developed people here who had real uh personalities and opinions. And honestly, I loved helping them find their own strengths and their own masteries, and even though I didn't know it at the time and know what I know now, my higher self was putting me exactly where I needed to be to develop the skill sets. So, whatever job you're in right now, I'd guarantee there are attributes in it contributing to your mastery skill sets and your soul path. I'd recommend taking infantry. So, what attributes are you using in your current career you think are being developed for your purpose? Interestingly, not everyone is thrilled when they first hear their skill sets. The love takes time to develop. It's once you really engage with it and start dissecting it that the love does show up. Intuition

Careers That Secretly Train Your Gifts

SPEAKER_00

is a perfect example of this. So many people push back against intuition when you tell them it's a mastery skill set and you you see someone who's meant to be an absolute rock star with it, but developing it is really hard because it pushes you to learn new things. Most people wouldn't even go as far to master. It becomes the pain versus reward equation. Is the perceived pain worth the payoff? If it's an if it's under that 95% mark of a mastery skill set, most people won't push through to the final piece, the piece that's actually going to make a difference. But if you are a 95 or above, you'll go through almost anything to get to that reward. This is also why combining multiple masteries really matters. So say you've got healing the physical body, teaching, and emotional mastery all in your little unique combination. On their own, each one is pretty amazing. But you combine them, they let you to invent something that doesn't really exist, that's different from just being good at your job and building an entirely new category of job or business. Think about it like ingredients in the kitchen. This is a fun one. Flour on its own is just flour, butter on its own is just butter. Sugar on its own is just sugar. None of them by themselves is a croissant, but combine them with the right ratio, with the right technique, and you've created something that didn't exist a second ago. That's exactly what's happening with your mastery skill sets. You stack them together, not to collect them, but to combine them together to combine the ingredients. Everything's ingredients in this world, you combine the ingredients to create something the world has never seen. So, why are so many of us walking around completely unaware that we have these skill sets to this level? The main reason is that people simply don't take inventory. We're not really taught to go looking for this. Nobody hands you a checklist and says, hey, go and identify your genius level potentials. Don't even really know it's a thing. And without intuition, it's it's quite hard to do. So most of us are wandering around with an incredible tool in the back pocket with no idea how great we are meant to be. The second reason I do see is misidentifying the actual skill set or what is the actual skill set I need to develop. It might look a certain way, but it could be something else. So, for example, sometimes it might look like teaching, but really it's coaching. Or it's not teaching, it's knowing the exact steps, the process to get someone from A to B. Or it might be a teaching skill set, but where you'll thrive the most is by giving people the aha moment, the click. Isn't it really cool how these these skill sets are just so tailored for us? It still fascinates me. Most people don't hit their full potentials without intuition. It's often the missing piece that just holds people up from that last few percent. Michael Jordan is the perfect example of this. Against the world, his basketball skill set potential was actually or is actually a 98%. Across his career, he hit a 94% of that potential. He still didn't reach the very, very top, even with the access to some of the best people in the world. And the missing pieces were things like the intuition and having the right person to know how to find the final details that needed to be fine-tuned. Our mastery skill sets tend to show up far earlier than most of us realize, and often all the way back to childhood. But they're just easily missed if the right person isn't there to notice them or

Kids, Intuition, And Early Clues

SPEAKER_00

follow through. And our parents generally aren't taught to follow through on specific skill sets like this about the kid who takes apart the remote control just to see how it works and somehow can put it back together and it works. Or the kid who is constantly studying how things function. Most of the time, the adults around will just label the kid as like a phase, or they may put a label to it like, oh, he should be an engineer. But we often hear, oh, they've always been like that. But there's no follow-through. And instead of recognizing it for what is the genius level, kids go off to school and then they get caught in this societal education system. And we we forget about the things that they were doing before they went to school, where they had the free play, they had their ability to kind of use their intuition, where they had the ability to use their own intuition and be and gravitate to things that they were meant to start building, they are built for. Kids are very intuitive. I think a lot of you can resonate with that. And then on top of that, most people don't have the intuition available to check whether something is worth nurturing. So we fall into what everyone else is doing. Imagine if we actually understood this about our children, how to support and grow their genius, the path they could actually walk. Understanding their skill sets can even help you understand their behavior and their needs. So, like with my son, I have found I have found it both fun and challenging as a parent learning alongside him, figuring out what he actually needs. I can actually shape his environment and his activities around what he is genuinely built to do. Now, at times, this is definitely turning me grey because I've still got parent fear. My son is the climb and jump, and let me just see what happens. He has a skill set wrapped around taking risks and doesn't see the fear in them. So I just have to be prepared and have and give him opportunities to thrive in those environments. Little to my own uh heart palpitations that come with it. And recently I actually had a client of mine ask me in a session to look in for her son, who is about six or seven, to see if there was an actual activity or sport or something that the child could be doing through the younger years to develop these their specific mastery skill sets inside an activity. And it was actually quite funny when I looked in, I remembered just having to stop for a moment and go, how is a six-year-old meant to love this? And it was quite funny. It was very, very clear for this child that it was meant to be golf. And then we connected them to the mastery skill sets. We looked at how it's going to help this child grow. And then it was quite funny because she says to me that just over a year ago, her family sold a golf course that they had owned. So her son had actually grown up around a golf course for most of his life, he is only six or seven, and already loved it. So his higher self was very much putting pieces in place long before I ever looked in. And that's exactly how precise we can get with this. It's it's pretty cool.

Struggle As A Mastery Indicator

SPEAKER_00

Some of the biggest indicators of a mastery skill set are the things you've had to fight for. If there is something you've really struggled with your whole life and slowly and painfully gotten good at, stop writing that piece off for sure as a coping mechanism. Highly likely. That struggle is exactly where one of your mastery skill sets lie. For example, maybe you're meant to have a mastery skill set in relationships, yet every relationship you've had has been a train wreck. That's often a really good sign that you're on the right track because being in a relationship that isn't anything but pretty can be exactly how you learn and grow into that mastery. You're living and breathing and embodying all the different lessons, all the different processes, all the ways to handle things. What's it teaching you about yourself? What's it teaching you about communication? It's teaching you so many different things that living and breathing it, even if it's the struggle, is a very good indicator that you could be holding a high-level mastery skill set in there. So another place that you can start taking inventory for your mastery skill sets.

Can Potential Drop Or Rise

SPEAKER_00

One thing I did want to address because I have conversations with people and clients who get worried about this, about the potential levels that you hold and if they can drop. Now, they can, they can. This is true. So if you if you hear about a mastery skill set that you have, let's say you hear that you have a mastery skill set in leadership, um, and that level is a 98. And at that point in time, you can't do anything with it, right? You might just have variables in your life that are holding you up from expanding on that skill set. So you know about it and you just park it. You don't do anything to actively develop that skill set, and then 12 months later, you come back and ask, what's my current potential on that mastery skill set? And it may have dropped to let's say a 94. Now it has dropped below. But this is the thing: the higher self knows what you're going to do. Your higher self knows where your jump-off point is. So your higher self has already factored in that your soul path, soul pool only requires that skill set at the potential it's at when you decide to go all in. So if it's at a 94 a year later, you only need that skill set at a 94 to fulfill your soul purpose. Now, can mastery skill sets increase in potential? Absolutely. There are many reasons why this can happen, and we can even do things that can help shift, uh, shift potential levels. But again, your higher self knows where you're going to be at what point and what your path, what your purpose requires to be successful for you to hit that high point. Knowing your mastery skill sets and actually developing them is one of the fastest ways to collapse your timeline and speed up your entire soul path. This is the shortcut, but not the shortcut around the work, but a shortcut around the guessing. It's here that you get to start engineering your own career. Instead of just throwing energy at 10 different things and hoping something sticks, you actually get to start building. And this isn't about scrambling to figure out your four or five mastery skill sets by next week so you can finally start. Most of you have already been building these for years, probably decades, without ever calling it that. So think about the things that you can't stop doing for free. The things that people ask you for help with, the things that you were really good at as a kid. You're not starting from zero. You're just finally starting to walk the roadmap and develop what you have.

Webinar Invite And Closing

SPEAKER_00

So before we wrap up today, I if you're interested in knowing a little bit more or wanting to have any questions about mastery skill sets and soul path, we do actually have an upcoming webinar next week with my dear friend and fellow intuitive Angela Christian that you can register to attend. It is free. It is part of her monthly QA with her members, and she is inviting us all. So if you wanted to come along, I'll leave the link in the show notes and you can submit questions beforehand, or you can come live and ask questions. We're talking all about soul love, the heart chakra, and your mastery skill sets being the thing that you have a soul love for. So I hope you enjoy and sit with this information, and I hope to see you there. Until the next one. Bye.
