All right. I am on with the one and only hippopotamicha, not the greatest hippopotamicha, but we're sure that he'll eat them at some point and become the grand hippopotamichael. Good friend of mine. And uh yeah, let's just jump right into it. So, Mike, what's uh what's your background, I guess, for starters, sir?
SPEAKER_00Let's see, I grew up in Tampa, Florida. I uh joined the Marine Corps at 17, was in the delayed entry program during high school. I was actually a pretty good baseball player. I actually had three scholarships for uh my senior year to play for Texas AM, Penn State, and Florida, but I was already in the delayed entry program in Marine Corps because I always wanted to be a Marine, and I was a good high school player, but I probably would have been a good college player, but I wasn't a pro player, so I actually played with and grew up with like Tito Martinez, Gary Chetfield, really good friends of mine in Tampa. We grew up together playing Little League and high school ball, all that together. But and you know, joined the Marine Corps, left two days after high school, spent 20 years in the corps as a field radio operator. Then I did get a secondary M West of uh O321, which is a reconnaissance marine. I was in recon for a long time, actually, almost eight and a half years, and then moved on to other units in the Marine Corps as you always do. Anyways, did the campaigns, did Desert Shield, Desert Storm, did Afghanistan, Iraq. So and got retired in 07, in 20 years, retired in 07. Decided I wanted to be, I actually wanted to be a structural engineer. Really good at math, but I couldn't get the math out of my head and actually put it into you know drawing form. So and some people have a have a struggle with that. So and I did struggle with that. So the uh career planner at University of South Florida did suggest computer science, and I was like, hey, you know, I like computers, I'll give it a shot. So yeah, I did end up getting my degree in computer science, and my first job out of college was with NOAA, so the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration. So after being 12 years with them, after my after two years starting with them, I was put on the uh during hurricane season, I was put on the P3, which is Miss Piggy, and I actually was on both those Miss Piggy and and Kermit, which are the uh hurricane hunter planes that fly into the hurricanes. So I got to do that for 10 years and uh was was pretty great actually during hurricane season. Other than when it wasn't hurricane season, I did my regular, you know, systems engineering job, so for NOAA. So I actually did that. So I mean that was actually great. Now I am another systems engineer, network engineer for a large nonprofit here in Gainesville, Florida. Uh we actually work for all the we do all the trades, current curriculum for like, you know, plumbing, crane operation, like you know, electricians, carpentry. So we do all the uh actual you know curriculum courses for for all the trades, and we're naturally certified. So all the construction companies use us and stuff like that, unions. So it's pretty good. So into one field that helps people, to another field that helps people, to another field that actually helps people. So I've had a a career of helping people. So that's basically it. And actually, I'm I'm married, have a have a daughter. I was married before, have two kids by by them, by her, not them, her. I meant them as then two kids. Big Mike. Yeah, that's it wrong. Big Mike got you. Um I'm the original Big Mike. I'm older than she is, so I think I am. I'm not sure. How old is Michelle Alama? I think she's around 50 something, isn't she? I think I might got her about a year. So anyway, if not then she would be the original Big Mike. So we'll we'll keep that one under wraps. But other than that, I mean uh I have a 12-year-old daughter. She's uh 28th in the state of Florida in archery, which is pretty pretty cool. And uh I'm an aspiring golfer. I do play golf. I was a uh pro bodybuilder for six years. I started bodybuilding in the in the Marine Corps, and then got really serious about it uh after I got out and was in college, so I really got started really jumping into bodybuilding. I spent you know 12 years doing that, uh, quit competing in 2018, went ahead and lost uh almost 50 pounds of muscle just so I could play golf again. I actually uh still pretty big dude, but I was even bigger. And then uh you know, I'm playing golf so much, but I'm trying to get on to uh the actual senior store, the PGA senior store, uh champion store. So I could hang with the young ones on the PGA tour, but they're they're they're really good. I mean, I have a better shot at the senior tour. So plus they only have three tournaments, so I don't think I can put four rounds together. But other than that, I mean that pretty much wraps up my life on what's going on. Um it's been great. I actually have a TikTok channel. I'm Big Mike USN, Dash USNC on TikTok. Uh, if you want to follow me, great. You can go into my political lives. I'm actually doing a lot of uh waking up America on the uh Islamification of America, how Islam is trying to take over our country and trying to wake people up to that so we don't let it happen. We don't end up being Australia and the UK. So that's it. What else, dudes?
SPEAKER_01I just I don't know why it never occurred to me that the natural trajectory of a bodybuilding marine would be to chase down a hurricane from the inside.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it makes so much sense now.
SPEAKER_00Oh, it was super. I mean, actually, I would say the first year was really exciting. It was pretty exciting. I mean, you go up, it's kind of like a a six to eight hour roller coaster. Well, unless you're in the when we do our penetrations and we're in the eye, you know, it's nice and calm in the eye. We get out, we can use the use the head, you know, eat and stuff like that. But when you when you're making eyewall penetrations and doing the star pattern or figure eight stuff like that in the actual hurricane, then it gets a little jumpy, a little bouncy. It's probably like the worst serval inch you ever felt. So if you see the videos, I have plenty of videos on them actually of being inside the storm. And you can actually go to the National Hurricane Center and see all the NOAA videos and how how shaky it really is. We've had you know Jim Cantori on the plane. We had a lot of local because it was we were at McDill Air Force Base for several years. Actually, 22 years when uh Andrew hit Homestead. So that's where they used to be with that Homestead Air Force Base, so they moved up to McDill after Andrew knocked out Homestead Air Force Base. So they moved up there, they were up there for 22 years. Uh we got kicked out in 2017. We had three bids that were going to uh re-hanger us, which would have been uh St. Pete Clearwater Airport, Sarasota International, or Lakeland Regional Airfield. They all put bids in. Well, Lakeland was the lowest bidder, so they actually won the bid, so we moved to they built a pretty nice hangar, and they we moved to uh Lakeland, Florida. So it was and that's when I spent about a year because I lived in the Palm Hover, Florida, and it was about a about a two and a half hour drive with Tampa traffic and about three hours to get home every day. So I did that for about a year and a half, and I was like, well, I'm not moving to Polk County. So I went ahead and uh left NOAA, left the government service, so and uh went to work, you know, for corporations.
SPEAKER_01So so you're basically the Florida man then? Florida man? Yeah, yeah. So we uh we're we're big on you know subject matter experts, and you got quite a few fields that you've you know touched down and any advice or tips or tricks or common knowledge and any of it for aspiring bodybuilders or or network engineers or uh hurricane chasers?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, bodybuilders uh you know don't really don't get on the juice unless you really know what you're doing. You have uh, you know, if you have sports doctors that could, you know, a trainer that knows knows really how to do a cycle. Don't stay on them, actually, you know, cycle off like you're supposed to. It gets very addicting. Uh so be very careful when you're doing that, especially for the young kids that are trying it, which they shouldn't be, shouldn't do it until you're at least 25. Uh computer science, I I would say right now the way to go is AI or cybersecurity, or maybe both fields together. That's that's the way of the future right now, especially especially you know, cybersecurity and AI. But I would lean more towards AI because soon AI is going to be taking over cybersecurity. It's actually going to be taking that over. So I would lean heavily into AI, actually. Of course. And I don't really I like AI for some things, but to run everything, I don't I don't think it's I don't think it's that's a great idea, actually. Did anybody ever watch Terminator? It's funny how Hollywood predicts movies, huh? Guy net for everybody. Yeah, I mean it's it's weird how you know movies predict shit. I mean, it's actually, you know, could come to fruition. I mean, you start getting into quantum physics and you know, quantum computing and stuff like that, it's pretty pretty next level stuff. So I mean it's kind of it's kind of scary when you think about it. What it actually can do, what it's actually going to be able to do. Soon you'll have, I don't know how we'll trust it, but soon we'll have like civilian jetliners, you know, flying, you know, AI is gonna be flying the planes. There's gonna be no more pilots. So, I mean, so that's gonna be probably not in our lifetime, goose, but you know, I I I see it going that way. Thank God. Yeah. Then I guess they'll they won't have to worry about DEI DEI pilots. I think it depends how the AI identifies, you know.
SPEAKER_01True. So, what about hurricane chasers? Because you know, you see a lot of these you know, people who live in Louisiana and Texas and you know, Florida, and and you go out and you buy the booze, you leave the Dasani on the shelf, you grab the water, and everyone fucks around with the storm a little bit. It's tradition, right? You have the great barbecue after of all the food so it doesn't go bad, bring your community together. But uh for for the ones that are actually saying, you know, fuck it, and they're chasing tornadoes and and hurricanes. Any tips for them so they don't, you know, just get themselves ripped to shreds doing dumb things?
SPEAKER_00Well, the the tornado chasers, I mean, I I wouldn't personally wouldn't do that. Tornadoes are so unpredictable the way they move. I mean more than hurricanes? Yeah, way more than hurricanes. I mean, a tornado can when it touches down, can shift like on a dime. So it could be going one way, it could be going west, and it could it could shift south like on a dime, go right towards you. So I don't I don't get into the tornado chasing guys. I like watching it, but no, I like the movie Twister. That's kind of kind of full of crap, but I like when they bolt themselves to the water and pipes that was that was kind of bullshit. But what about water spouts and whirlpools? Water spouts, uh well, actually, water spouts are just a tornado over water. I mean, they they can actually touch ground and become a tornado. Really? Yeah. So yeah. So we have plenty of them in Tampa Bay. I've seen many of water spouts, especially right by McDill, too. They're like, oh shit. Water spout. Because McDill's on the peninsula and in Tampa Bay, so which is below sea level, so I don't know why you'd build them put setcom there to the hurricane floods the whole base. Can actually wash it away. So justify the black budget somehow. Yeah, no shit. But yeah, I mean storm chasing is awesome. It's pretty exciting. I mean, we do it, we did it for a reason. We actually were pretty good at predicting where the storm was gonna go. Hurricanes are easy easier to predict because they go with the airflow. So the upper level, the steering currents, the upper level winds, you know, low level winds, where where they're actually the jet, the actual jet stream has a lot to do with it. So that's why Tampa doesn't really get hit that often directly by a hurricane, because of the jet stream pushes it away. If you follow the jet stream, it goes right, you know, it has this big bow around Tampa, Florida that just pushes the hurricane out. So it's never been hit directly. Usually get pushes it south, like Port Charlotte, Port Myers, Naples, you know, Bradenton, Manatee County, Sarasota. Or north, like right where I live now, up in uh up in a Latchua, in the bend of Florida. So it's weird how it looks. If you look at a jet stream, it's pretty, pretty interesting how that works.
SPEAKER_01You ever deal with the oceanic side of Noah? Because I've been on kick for it. I'm sorry to the audience for this, but I know it's come up in the last three podcasts, but I can't help myself. I'm obsessed with the ocean. I'm obsessed with, you know, yeah, at this point, you can't tell me Cthulhu's not down there because we just don't, we just don't know, right? There's all kinds of crazy shit every time we look down, there's some wilder crap. Any anything that doesn't breach opsect that you can cue us into under the water?
SPEAKER_00I've I I have talked to a lot of the you know, I got a lot of friends that are on the ships on the uh for ocean ocean topography, ocean topography. They actually, you know, do maps of the ocean floor. There's a lot of shit down there we don't know about. There's a lot of creatures down there we don't know about. Uh I really never heard of it, to be honest. I've never really heard of anything like you know, underwater cities or Atlantis or anything like that. There was some stuff by, you know, Pompeii, where Pompeii used to be. You know, there's old you know, ruins that are in the ocean floor, but I've never really heard of anything like Atlantis or or what do you call it, like aliens coming out of the water. Or but there are some really deep trenches in the ocean floor that you just can't it anything you send down there, the pressure just crushes it. So you really can't get any uh what do you call it, any footage from some of these trenches that are down there? So I've been told by friends with Nella.
SPEAKER_01So I'd be curious to know what the submariner is seeing more than what Space Force is working on. Like I know we all want space marines, but can we send someone down there that uh you know can tell us what the fuck has 37 tentacles and flies around looking at some weird shit past the abyss world, Mike, like nightmare shit.
SPEAKER_00Maybe tripods coming out of the trenches now. Yeah, or the world. I would go like with uh every time you say space force, but the first the first picture that picks up that pops in my head is uh stormship troopers, man. This is the first thing that pops in my head. Anytime somebody says space force, I think about stormship troopers, you know.
SPEAKER_01I gotta ask because I've you know I've I've asked all our other military guys, and believe it or not, your your podcast, episode 13, but at least 10 of them have been, you know, military here, there, everywhere, questionable places you can't ask about type deal. But uh I I I just I have to ask, you've heard the Space Force anthem, right? Do you find it to be inspiring?
SPEAKER_00No. Yeah, if you're if you're you know a a girl.
SPEAKER_01And how would you describe it in in marine terms?
SPEAKER_00Unsat. So yeah, it's uh I just gaff it off. So I mean it's just it's uh wow. I mean, there's no other words for it, it's just wow. I mean, why would you ever think a song like that?
SPEAKER_01You know, you you seem to have adapted pretty well to the the civilian world, and my condolences ahead of time because a lot of them are stupid cunts that irritate the hell out of me, too, and that's coming from one. But uh, you know, it any any advice you would give to veterans that might be struggling to uh to to adapt, you know, corporate and and civilian America and all these things, because we see a lot of that, and I I like to ask all my vet guys about that for.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean I didn't I at first I didn't have I didn't have an easy time uh converting back over to civilian life, adapting to it. I I did get a lot of uh help, private help, and I actually paid for myself. Uh when I did get, you know, when NOAA I had really good insurance, but I actually paid for you know my mental health counseling. Uh also I I think going to college when I got out was was a big, you know, because it really wasn't the world real world yet. You know what I mean? Yeah, it's an isolated uh sphere, the ivory tower. Yeah, because the marine corps was the only job I ever had. I mean, out of high school. I mean, I was you know, other than my regular bag of groceries at Publix, but I mean, dealing with the real world, I mean, really, I mean, the Marine Corps was my only job. I mean, you know, and it was my career, so I mean, and it was my family and my brothers, so I mean, it was my family away from my family. So it was uh, you know, we're really tight. I don't talk about it too much because you know, I did lose a lot of brothers, and uh I completely understand you don't have to be but you know, I think, you know, when I did get out and I decided to go to college, I mean it was a no-brainer, I knew I was going to college. I mean, so I I'm just one of them, I'm type of those persons. I will I have to be the best at everything I do, even though if I'm not the best, I think I'm the best. I still have to try to strive to be the best in everything I do. And I'm always doing something. Uh I can't, I'm not one of those people to sit around and and mope and sit still. And that's just me. Not everybody's liked me, and I know that, and I'm not everybody's cup of tea, but I believe college helped me a lot to adapt because it wasn't really the real world yet, but it was like sort of like a preparedness to get ready for the real world. So I uh go on to college for four years and I I didn't work, so I mean I just I was a full-time student, and so you know, I had 39 years old. So I started at 38, so and I turned 39 in my freshman year in college. So I was like the oldest freshman, you know, my glasses. I was like, oh shit, like kids. How'd you like corporate? It was uh well went to NOAA right after that, so it was uh wasn't really corporate, so it kind of had that corporate structure, but it was still still had the military structure a little bit because the NOAA Corps are mostly all a forum, either prior military or active did inter-service transfers from the Navy and Air Force to come over to NOAA. So it was more like a little bit of a still military a little bit. But when I left NOAA and got my job, because I left NOAA to go up to Benderholt, up here where my my wife's parents lived in Wilbur in Florida, and Benderholz was in the live over to the next town over. So when I applied, you know, I was still with NOAA and I applied, and uh I got the job, so and it's Austrian-owned, so I went up there and you know was running a billion-dollar mill for for uh three and a half years. So that was pretty corporate. Uh it was more it was a big change because in the Marine Corps you you earn what you get. Nothing's giving to you. You know what I mean? It doesn't care who you know or who you are, it's it's how you perform in the Corps is how you how you're judged, what kind of Marine you are is how you how you're judged. So I believe it or not, Marine Corps doesn't like kiss asses. So maybe some first sergeants or serve managers do, but uh being a gunny, I didn't like them. So you you you proved to me what you do in the field when we go on cactus. That's what how I I judge you on being a Marine and what you do back in Garrison too, and how you for how you carry yourself and how responsible you are, what kind of leader you're you're going to be. But like when I got to when I got to Ben Holtz, it was different. There was always people, you know. The the the drama, you know, talking about the the talking behind backs, the the through as per my last email type vibes from Becky. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. It's just talking, you know, just the the backstabbing, the you know, the people trying to get ahead by by slandering somebody else.
SPEAKER_01What about the corporate language? I mean, going from you know, military's got Too many fucking acronyms. It does. It's got too many damn acronyms. And you know, I had to put a link in my book so people could it's as it's as convoluted as BACS Black's law for legalese, right?
SPEAKER_00Was it easy to adapt to corporate acronyms using that same type of structure, or did you find that it was I think it was easy for me because like I said, I went to college first and I started picking up the uh civilian lingo and then uh going to NOAA. Still kind of like military, but more excuse me, a lot a lot of civilians worked there, so it was more civilian lingo, more corporate lingo, uh Benderholt. It was a a a a uh language gap because they're Austrians, they came over from Austria, so all they're they're all in HB1 visas, so they're all over here, and all the engineers and the uh you know sawmill operators and uh the plc programmers, the the elect the electrical engineers are all Austrian. So the log, the uh log yard operators, you know, so they're all Austrian. So there was a little language gap. They didn't speak really, really great English, so didn't really have a problem with any any acronyms or you know, adjusting to that. What I had a problem with was you know doing their systems like microtech systems that were all in German. So I didn't speak German, but I just knew everything wherever you know I learned and I knew everything was where I could actually fix the say fix the system. So so no, but now where I'm at now, there's a lot of lingo that uh I really don't understand, but I I picked it up after being there. I've been there two years now, so it's uh I picked it up. But I'll say stuff, I'll I'll put some acronyms out there, and they'll be going, What? What are you talking about? I'll never mind. It's this instead of that. They're like, Oh, okay, we understand.
SPEAKER_01I uh my chess master spoke something like 96 damn languages, and one day I asked him how, and he said, You just gotta know how to say, can you repeat that slower? And where's the bathroom? And you'll figure it out. He was uh that's funny. So while you have the platform, I mean it you're you're free to touch on anything you like. If you want to hit on Islamification or anything else, just whatever's on your mind, feel free. It's all yours.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's just it's a you know, I'm just I'm really trying to to get that out there. Uh and there's other people doing it too, and it's great. And uh don't say, hey, that's my niche. No, it's pleas the more people that actually can platform this is awesome because the more people that are gonna know about this, you know, the easier we it's gonna be to uh eradicate it, to stop it. I mean, it's the people that are in denial, and mostly the left are in denial because they're they're actually being used by Islam. You know, they're they're saying, oh, such a peace of peace school. They're just trying to, you know, it's kind of like socialism, you know, they're all they're structured and no, it you know, it's a peaceful religion. No, it's not a religion, it's actually an ideology, and they hate you, period. If you don't conform, if you don't follow the jihad, they hate you. Yeah, it's a death cult. Yes, yes, it's a death cult. You should be you should be killed if you don't believe in in Islam. You should be killed. That's you you have no use on this earth. That's their ideology.
SPEAKER_01Well, to be fair, you know, if you give them everything like uh Scientology does, or uh, you know, drink the Kool-Aid Man did, then you can always pay the jizya in exchange for your life forever. Such a reasonable and forward-thinking faith.
SPEAKER_00It's like a 30% tax, right? It's kind of like a 30% tax to pay them every year, to pay them constantly for not for not dying, correct?
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah. Yeah, and we were talking about this earlier with my historian buddy on the last one, you know, about Islam's always been like this for 1400 fucking years. And I think a good chunk of why it's being adopted.
SPEAKER_00Like you're bringing out 1400 years ago. Look at Egypt. Egypt was 90% Christian until Islam came over and and and you know killed all the all the men, raped all the women, took took the kids and converted them to Islam. And then now it's now what is Egypt now? It's 90% Muslim, 10% Christian. I mean, we I use Egypt a lot as an example. I mean, look at that. Look at the UK. Look what's happening in the UK. Look at Australia. Do you ever think that Australia would be fucking Brisbane would be 68% Muslim, and and and Sydney would be 72% Muslim?
SPEAKER_01I mean, it it's crazy that these people won't pay attention because even the royal houses, right? You look at the Saads, you look at the Omanis, who are considered the most you know neutral sect of Islam because of the Abadis that just kind of mind their business, right? Comparatively. And they're even telling their people, don't go study in Europe. Because the the groups that they ban in these areas, like the Muslim Brotherhood, they don't let them into Saudi Arabia, they don't let them into Oman, but Europe let them in. So now they're telling their kids don't go to Europe or they'll radicalize you with the bad end of the faith. And it's like, well, what are we doing here?
SPEAKER_00I mean, we let them in also. I mean, look what the Muslim Brotherhood is doing now. I mean, now they they've changed because they became a terrorist organization, they've changed their their colors and and they charted, they they call themselves the the AM AMP now. I mean, so and they're more keeping their radicalism down to they're they're they're not exposed. But if you go through the Islamic conventions, they're they're the ones running these Islamic conventions behind the scenes. They are running it and they are coming out, they're not even hiding this shit. They're actually saying they're going to take over our government. It's going to happen. Nothing you can do about it. Huh?
SPEAKER_01By bullet or ballot, I think was the main speech by one of their uh presidents.
SPEAKER_00No, not by not by bullet, but by ballot. That that is what they're saying. It's like not by violence, but by we're going to take over on the ballot box. And they're they're pushing this. And it started off with, I think the first Islamic convention had like 250 Muslims. Now, now there's there's there are over 3,000 coming to these Islamic conventions.
SPEAKER_01You know what really scares me about all that, Mike, is that they're doing everything legally, they're following the constitution, they're following procedure. Four pages of the Americans. I mean, someone for the love of fuck came up to me today and said, I don't know why we're celebrating 250 years. The constitution is not 250 years old. The declaration is. The Fox.
SPEAKER_00Our country is, and the Declaration of Independence is, yes. That was something they can't keep up with.
SPEAKER_01Like you can reverse it. Use the ordinance laws against the the prayer five times a day, the same way they're doing it to churches, but people won't engage. And I think that's half the problem.
SPEAKER_00Yes, they're they don't they're not going to engage until it it kicks them right in the rear end, until it's in their until it directly affects them. They they don't want to deal with it, they don't want to engage, they don't want to make any waves until it directly affects them. And and then by that time it's too late. So it happened in Europe. They didn't want to engage until now. You know, if you're you're you're Islam and you you murder somebody, they're gonna look at the white person and say, What did you do? They're not even looking at the the fucking crazy ass radical Muslim who did it. I mean it just happened. Yeah. So I mean, yeah, would you ever think in a in a million years that we would have a Muslim mayor in New York City? New York, you know, not maybe some other city, but not New York City where 9-11 happened. New York City, how would New Yorkers vote in a Muslim who they took out the World Trade Center? Radical or not, they still were Muslim. How do you do that? Killing that many New Yorkers, how do you elect a Muslim mayor? Just on that premise alone, they all they all should be shot.
SPEAKER_01Because only 10% showed up, Mike. That literally 10% of the voter base showed up to vote, and everyone else just ignored it.
SPEAKER_00And that's the problem, and that is the problem. And I stress in my lives that I do on TikTok that it is so important to vote in your local elections. I mean, take my my county here right now. We have only 4.2 percent of our population in my county came out to vote in the county elections. So though, so the all these other people are letting 4.2 percent dictate how how you're going to live in your county. There's this crazy oh, I gotta show you a video, dude. So I mean later I'll send it to you. There's this crazy guy running for the city mayor of Gainesville who wears chicken bone suspenders. They're made out of chicken bones. And he's actually on the primary. He actually got on the ballot, he got the signatures and the money to run for mayor. He has black eyeliner, like dark, smeared, you know, like a like an evil person, and his crazy hair, and it just is oh, I can't believe it. I mean, but it is a you know, a college town. So I I don't I don't great. Not a dog. What can go wrong? Yeah, I mean, he looks like a witch doctor. Actually, he does look like a witch doctor. Actually, I was trying to look for that word.
