Um history was made in the World Cup um when Miguel Almiron, who plays for Paraguay, was um sent off for making a mouth gesture. I think they were playing um Turkey in the second um group game. Um the 32-year-old made a mouth gesture but covered his mouth. Um so the VAR officials um looked at it and they could not decide if um he says if what he said was um offensive or not. So um they um gave the deciding decision to the referee who went and looked at his monitor on the pitch, and when he looked at two or three replays, he saw um Almiron um saying something behind his hand, and when he looked at it basically, um he sent him off, which really was the right decision because saying offensive things or not behind a mouth um is concealing um what could be seen as an offensive gesture. Um this has been going on a lot now um for about three or four years, where a player can offend or say an offenses um or can say an um offensive gesture behind the hand. Now we don't know what these gestures are in the past. They could have been racist, they could have been saying something against the person's skin, their family, their children. We don't know. And we will never know what um Almiron said to the Turkish player, but um when the ref looked at it, he went over to the player and gave him a red card, and that was it then he was sent off. But yeah, um he was sent off for the first time in the World Cup. Um and the thing about these um mouth gestures, they've been going on for too long. Um and they have bad reasons and good reasons. So the bad reasons are we don't know what these gestures are, and when a player's put their hand over their mouth, it's got to be a bad gesture, it's got to be some kind of offensive remark that they're making to um their opponent because if it wasn't if it was not offensive, they would not cover the their mouth to hide what um what they're saying because before when there was not covering their mouth, um people, experts who read um sign language could say what what words they're mouthing, um and what offensive um words they're using, but by putting their hand over their mouth, um people who can read sign language can't see. So players were getting away with a lot of bad gestures and offensive gestures, and now that we've got um the good reasons, which are if a player makes um an offensive or puts their hand over their mouth, basically, they're most likely they're making an offensive gesture to the to the opponent. So we don't know what it is, but by human nature we know that when they're putting their hand over their mouth, it's making an offensive remark to the player. So yeah, that's very good that this has been brought in um to weed out offensive remarks, plus also it is setting a good example to young players because I'm sure that young players were saying offensive gestures to their opponents. Um so again, now that it's been cut out or stamped out, um, I'm sure that this will be used in all top leagues around the world. So, yeah, it's a good thing.

Spain come alive against Saudi Arabia

SPEAKER_00

The next thing is that um I've just watched Spain win against um Saudi Arabia. They won um 4-0. Um before this game, um, Spain had not won their um their first game, and they hadn't scored their first goal. But you know who scored it. Um, I think it was scored in the first 10 minutes by the superstar Lamin Lamelle. Um, it was a cross, came in, the cross came in, and it cut out the defender, the goalkeeper, and when it came across, Lamal wasn't there, but when the ball got to the near post, somehow he reached the ball and put it in the net, and that opened the floodgates to um more goals. Um, well, two more goals from um O Yarzabaal, who scored two goals in the 21st and 24th minutes to make it 3-0. And then I think after half time, um the Saudis scored um an on goal, which made it um 4-0. So before then, Spain looked um sluggish. Um they were all at sorts, um, they couldn't settle on the ball, but now they've got um four points, um they really look like um favourites to win the World Cup. I'm not sure yet because it's um still very early in the group stage, so yeah, I was happy with Spain. Um after that first game, none of the um top superstars um really settled into the game. Lamine, Lamelle um looked a bit nervous. Um then you had Rodri as well. Um Pedri. All these players in the first game looked very nervous and they looked um pressurized, but in the second game, all the nerves just like fell away, and Spain really looked like the um favourites to win, and they did win 4-0, so yeah, looking forward to Spain um play the third game.

Belgium draw with Iran

SPEAKER_00

Um, I also watched um Belgium versus Iran. Now, um Belgium has been touted as outside world champions, but every time that I watch um Belgium, they never impress me. I mean, they're playing Iran, um, but no disrespect to um Iran. But Belgium have got players like Kevin De Bruin, Lukaku, Jeremy Docu, um Trossard, um Tielemans, and the goalkeeper um Courtoise. And you think with that quality of players who are playing in the top leagues, um they would beat these kind of teams, but they seem to struggle. And I've got always a question mark over how far Belgium can go in winning the group and getting through to the knockout stages. I can't remember how far they got in the last World Cup, but Belgium's never seem to impress me. Every time that I watch them, they always um fall short. They always say that they're outside um contenders for a World Cup win. But I can't see where Belgium are gonna win. They never show enough to me that they're good enough to win a World Cup. Um they get to the World Cup, but then I don't know if it's nerves or emotions or lack of belief, but they never um they never show the type of quality that is needed to win a World Cup. So yeah, um they drew 0-0 with Iran and um yeah, they never impressed me on paper. It's a two or three-nil win to Belgium, but in reality, they just don't show up. It's as if they can't relax, they can't get their passes together, they can't they can't finish in the in the last um in the last third of the field, they can't get the goals, they can't they never seem to play as a team properly to get the goals that's needed to win these games. So yeah, for me, um I still regard Belgium as a very outside team to win the World Cup. I mean, for them to win, all of the top contenders have got to have bad results, you know, and I can't see that happening. So um it would be good to see more from Belgium, but um going forward, I can't see how they're gonna get past the quarterfinals. If they do, I'll eat my words. Um, but yeah, um Belgium for me won't go very far in this World Cup. So yeah, um I think my next um talking is gonna be probably England who play Ghana in their second group game. Um if England win that game, um they'll qualify um to the to the knockout stages, I think, um, as of right. So yeah, um roll on Tuesday and England.

Uruguay struggle with Cape Verde

SPEAKER_00

I have to say, I have just watched arguably the best match of the World Cup so far. It was between Uruguay and Cape Verde. Um, as you can remember, Cape Verde held Spain in the previous game to a nil-nil draw. In this game, they exceeded their own expectations by playing amazingly. Um, first of all, it was a great goal from Cape Verde. Um, it was a free kick that Cristiano Ronaldo would have been proud of. It was about 30 yards out, and the Cape Verde um player struck it and it grass-caught the pitch and went into the bottom right-hand corner. It was a superb goal, and the Cape Verde fans and players just went ballistic. Then Uruguay um they made it 1-1. Um, a cross came in, it was headed by a player onto the post, it came back, um, and it was a nice cushion header for Argentina to make it 1-1. Um, sorry, not Argentina, Uruguay to make it 1-1. Then Uruguay went ahead 2-1 um at uh at 45 minutes um on the clock, so just before half time, and then um Uruguay made a huge mistake. It was a pass across their defense. They never saw a Cape Verde player sprint across. Um he tied it on his left thigh and then onto his right foot volley and into a goal to make it 2-2. This was an amazing goal. Um, and again, the Cape Verde fans and players went crazy. Um I have never seen a team playing in the first World Cup with so much self-belief, passion, emotion, heart, and bravery as Cape Verde. And I must say they were fantastic, and um they are my team of the World Cup so far for a team that was thought of as a nobody, and a team that everyone would beat so far. They've had two draws and they are not out of this World Cup yet. If they win their final game, I don't know who it is against now. Um there's a chance that if they win that, they will automatically go through to the knockout stages. Um, if they done that, I don't know what the country would do, or the players or the fans. I think they would have to loot, I think they would um lose their heads. Um so yeah, that game was end-to-end. Um I think Uruguay um were a bit complacent. They thought that they would win 2 or 3-0 or 4-0 against Cape Verde. That never happened. I think um Cape Verde have got a habit of raising their game. They've done it against Spain in the first game, they've done it in the second game against against Uruguay. So, how far can they go? Um they could get to the knockout stages, but then I think maybe they might um burn themselves out because they've gone this far. Um, and it's been amazing to watch. But are they contenders? I don't think they are, but they are giving us one heck of a ride before they go out. So, yeah, well done, Kate Verdi, and they're so enjoyable, and they play with a smile on their faces, they play with such guts, and they have a this ability to just raise their game, and they aren't scared of the opponents, whether it be in an Argentina, a Spain, a Uruguay, or any other top um teams, they don't care to just raise their game. Um, so yeah, um well done to um Cape Verde and U and Uruguay must be kicking themselves because after two draws, they have to win their final game against Spain. Spain have got um four points, so Spain are um the contenders to go through. If it's a draw for Spain, Spain will go through. If it's a draw for Uruguay, they'll go out. So I think neither neither team can afford to sit back, both have to go for a win to go through. Um, so yeah, that is gonna be one exciting game. Um

Preview of Portugal versus Uzbekistan

SPEAKER_00

the main game tomorrow is gonna be um Portugal. Um I'm not sure who they're paying, uh playing. Oh, yes, it is against Uzbekistan. Now I have not seen Uzbekistan play. I don't know how good they are, but just because they are not a top team, it doesn't mean that they are they are gonna roll over. Um I think Portugal have played badly and poorly. They would all agree. Um, Cristiano Ronaldo has not turned up. I think he hasn't had the best service, but he's getting on now. He's 41 years old, and he is the only player of the top teams that has not scored. Um Erling Haaland has scored, Messi is the top scorer, um and all the other um scorers for all the teams have scored. Um Kane has scored too. Um so yeah, um, I think um Cristiano is um inside. He must be kicking himself and he must be thinking I can't go out of this World Cup without scoring a goal, even if they go out in the group stage, which uh they could well do because they have to win against Uzbekistan. A draw is not good, they have to win. So um one of two things is gonna happen. Um either Portugal will win 3 or 4-0 and go through, or they will go out with a whimper, and um Cristiano won't score a goal, and that will be the end of his World Cup dreams and aspirations to be a World Cup winner, um, and that'll be it then. Um saying that he could come back and be a manager and win the World Cup, but I think more than anything, he wants to win it as a player because Cristiano Ronaldo has won everything in the game. Um so he just needs the icing on the cake, which is a World Cup win. Um can Portugal do it? Yes, they can. Um, they won European championships, but there again, I think um when they won that championship, Portugal were a better team, they had better players in the team. Um they had the amazing striker um Diogo Jatta playing, and he played good in that tournament. And you know something? Um I think that Portugal are still missing Diogo Jata, um, even though I think it's over a year now since he passed away in that terrible tragic car crash. I still think that the Portuguese team are still hurting. Um and I think they're gonna be I think they're gonna hurt for still more years to come because he was an amazing person, he died too young, um, and they miss his presence in the dressing room, they miss his presence on the pitch, and they miss his presence as a human being and a good friend. So I think that factor as well is playing on the minds of the Portuguese team. Um so yeah, um it's Portugal's last chance, last game, but tomorrow it's England's chance to secure their automatic spot into the last 32.

Portugal and Ronaldo sweep aside Uzbekistan

SPEAKER_00

I saw two games today because I booked off a day off from work. The first game was to see Portugal versus Uzbekistan. Um in Portugal's first game, um Cristiano Ronaldo had a very poor game and his service wasn't too good. But in this game, he really showed up and he joined the party of the big boys because he scored two goals. His first goal was a um great movement. Um he scored it in the six-yard box. Basically, the cross came in, and Cristiano's movement was superb. He managed to get in front of the defender and sweep in a right foot shot, which beat the goalkeeper. His second goal was an even better goal. Basically, it was a break from their own um penalty area, as and it got hold of um it got hold of the pass to Bruno Fernandez. Both Bruno and Cristiano went on a run. Um and it was a great weighted pass from um Bruno Fernandez, and it just went in the line of um Cristiano, and he scored a great goal. It really was a great goal. The timing, the weight of the pass was superb, and as he always does, Cristiano jumped in the air, and he um he actually um threw his hands out with his with his um his hands outstretched as he does um when he scores any goal for his club or country, yeah. And then um everyone thought that um Christiano would get his hat trick. It never happened, but then there was a free kick, and it was about 30 yards or so out or just below, and everyone was thinking that um Christiano was lining up for a shot because um he stood back um a few paces and he was about to take it, but then the free kick was um taken by Mendes. So Christiano ran up, he took about two, three steps and he stopped, and Menders done a left foot shot which beat the keeper to make it 3 0. Then um after that, I think in this second half, those are on goal by Uzbekistan, and then they begin to they began to lose hope then, and then um There was a last um fourth goal by Ray. Um, it was a great build-up, and it was a right foot in the top left-hand corner of the goal to make it 5-0. So, really, um Cristiano showed up at this game, and he really proved that at 41 he has still got it. But yeah, um Portugal really um showed up and they showed the class which made them European champions. So yeah, um it was the Cristiano show, and every time you scored, the cameras went to the crowd, and the crowd went crazy, as you know they can. Um, yeah, it really was the Cristiano show. Um he was proving that he was back to his best, as if anybody thought that that he had lost it. Um this proves that he's a world beater. Um he scored another goal for his country, another cap, and playing in this form, Portugal are gonna be very hard to beat. Um, I know it was against Uzbekistan and not a top team, but they still had to go out there and score the goals and prove it. And Portugal um proved it. From Cristiano, they proved it. To Mendes, they proved it. Um Ray, they've got some top quality players that can turn it on, um, can make um a goal, make a pass out of nothing, and really Portugal really impressed me. So, yeah, um Portugal.

England draw with Ghana

SPEAKER_00

The second game I've just watched is England, and England drew with Ghana. I was very disappointed with England, they played the game at a slow tempo, they kept unpassing it, and just when I thought that England would start playing against um just when I thought that they'll start playing in the same vein as they played against Croatia, they couldn't do it. Um Ghana um just sat back and defended the complete game. Um it worked. I thought that at some point England were gonna have a spark, somebody from England was gonna create something special. They hit the posts, I think, once, and um Kane had a shot at a volley shot, and he knocked it over the bar, which was very disappointing. England looked frustrated. Declan Rice got a yellow card, um Jude Bellingham made a few rash um tackles, but England just ran out of ideas, they just didn't know how to break them down, and Ghana are not a weak team, but Ghana are not one of the top contenders, and um yeah, I wasn't impressed by England at all. Okay, they never lost, they got a point, but for me, England just never showed enough, they never showed enough um creativity, they never showed enough urgency. Um England played good in the last 10 minutes, but why does it take the last 10 minutes of a game to play your best football? Um Tuchel was going crazy on the touchline, um saying to his players, right? Push forward, show something, make some runs, um make the passing more quicker, you know. Um because if you pass quickly, it doesn't give the opponents time to think. And because England were playing the game at such a ponderous slow pace, the opponents Ghana had time to think, had time to clear the box, had time to mark. Um, and England were just given no space. Um, okay, England have got four points, but for me, um I know that you don't have to show your best football in the second game, but you have to show flashes of brilliance, and for me, England did not show any um any show of brilliance. There was lots of passing from left to right to Jordan Pickford, the goalkeeper. There was the occasional pass out wide to Gordon, um Therese James, but England just never had any ideas of how to penetrate the Ghana defense. Okay, Ghana had their chances, um, they could have scored, but they never did. Against a top team, England would have easily lost that game. But um, the next game is against Panama, and for me, a draw is not good enough. England have to beat Panama convincingly for me. Um England are not out of this World Cup, but they are not showing me enough that they can win the World Cup. For me, England have to win three or four games in a row like they did against um Croatia. Um, I haven't seen anything from England that tell me they can go through the gears at will, and the top teams can go through the gears at will. When it's needed, they don't think of it, they don't think about it, it just happens. Um and England still for me haven't worked out the best 11. Um they just don't know how to adapt. That's the worrying thing about me. When they come up against a formation that they are not used to, they can't think of a way to break the team down. Um, in a way, I feel sorry for Tuchel because he's telling them what they have to do and they're not doing it. Um, he's telling them to um pass faster, move, and they're choosing to pass the ball slow, they're choosing not to move faster. Um it wasn't very hot. Um, it was raining, there were lots of breaks, um so it wasn't over hot, and they had lots of breaks, they had the hydration breaks, um, they had about a five-minute break before the hydration break. Um, but yeah, um I was very frustrated with England, like Tuchel was. Um, he was jumping up and down on the touchline like a madman, and I don't blame him because on paper, England have got the quality, but when it comes to doing on the pitch, they don't know how to do it, they run out of ideas. Once they come across a team that they can't break down, or once they go through the phases of what they've done in training, and if something doesn't work in their set pieces, England don't know how to change, don't know how to react, and they panic a bit. Um they've got um Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, so they've got three days to look at the replay, see how they can improve and see see where they're going wrong because England um are going wrong for me. Yes, they're not losing games, but they're not winning games convincingly, and for me that's a worry. So, yeah, um Roll on Sat Day and hopefully England can get a convincing win, a win against um Panama.

Uruguay exit the World Cup

SPEAKER_00

I have just watched the game between Uruguay and Spain. I thought it was a great game, um, even though it wasn't high scoring, it was a good game, very physical. Um, there was lots of challenges from Uruguay. Um, Spain played very good, they just done enough. Um, Lamin La Mana showed um his brilliance with his tricks and crosses and beating two, three players. Um, but yeah, I think the big talking point was bringing back Moslera, the 40-year-old goalkeeper. Um, before the tournament, he was um in retirement, but I think he was called back by Marcelo Biesla out of retirement. Um, the controversial former Leeds manager has been at the club for I think um has been at um not the club, the um the country um managing it for about two years now. And ever since he took over, there's been a high high tension within the camp. The squad. Um he's fallen out with lots of players. Um he fell out with um Luis Suarez before he retired. Um he criticized um Canabi's um sitting sitting his style of sitting, which was a bit strange to me. Um, but yeah, um Spain kept on um pressing Uruguay and they took the lead after a cross um which Bayana um he controlled and turned it and he shot it, and um the ball bounced in front of um Moslera. He got a hand to it, but the ball kind of trickled over his hand and into the net. Um I think looking back, Moslera should have scored that goal, and probably um two or three years ago, he probably would have um um saved that properly. But yeah, at 40 years old, I think most people would have thought that he was too old. His his hand reactions are probably slowed down. Um and yeah, and after they went um behind 1-0 at 42 minutes, straight after the half and the start of the second half, um Biesla took Mosler off um and most likely for that goal. So when um they tried to play on Uruguay, they kept on pushing, they kept on making runs, um, they kept on passing it around, but they never quite got the breakthrough. Um the top players, Valverdi Um and Darwin Nunes, they had flashes of brilliance, but they never quite um hit top form, they never had any great shots on goal. Um, if that's fair. Their midfielder, Canobio, never quite got hold of the game. Spain took control with Lamin, Lamal um and Pedri as well, um passing it around. But yeah, overall, I think Spain um deserved the win. Um I think in stoppage time of the game, I think a Canobio um went in for a tackle, he missed the ball, he caught the player, and the um referee gave him a straight red card. Canobio blew his top and he tried to confront the referee. He had to be held back by his own players, and um even on the touch line, he kept on um he kept on making his appeal that it should never have been a red card again. On the touch line, he had to be held back by his by his own players. Um when he tried to approach the fourth official. When the final whistle was blown, um Canabio went onto the pitch and he tried to confront all three or four officials, and again he had to be held back by his teammates. So, yeah, it was a very ugly, ugly sight for um young players to see and children. Um obviously not accepting the decision to get sent off. Um I've seen that um played back a few times and it's still a red card decision. He doesn't make contact with the ball and he um he catches the player or nearly catches the player. It's a it's a high tackle, it's dangerous tackle. Um if he caught the player most likely um properly and full on, it's probably a leg breaker, so it was a good decision to set him off. Um after after we said after he was sent off, um I think um Spain had a chance to go um two up, they hit the crossbar. But yeah, I think um Spain deserved the win overall, they played better. Spain wasn't at their best, but I don't think they had to be at their best because this Uruguay squad wasn't as good as as the one four years ago with um Suarez in it. With Suarez, he was a great um striker who could cut defenses to pieces with his movement and speed. This Uruguay team is not as good without him. Um but yeah, I expected more from Uruguay. I thought that Darwin Nunes and Val Verde would have turned up and they played better, but their demise, because they had two draws and a loss, they only

Cape Verde do it again and make World Cup history

SPEAKER_00

got two points, and Cape Verde, who were playing Saudi Arabia, they got three draws, so they go through Cape Verde, the smallest club ever to reach the knockout stage, and their fans were in um tears. I've never seen a team play with such heart, bravery, emotions, and they never give up. They've never heard of the word give up or sentence give up, they just keep they keep going, they keep concentrating, they keep um they they keep switched on, and at the end of their match, when they were listening to the end of the Spain Uruguay match, the players just they fell to the floor and some were in tears, some were um didn't know what to do, they were running around, they were embracing. So, you know, it's a happy time to see a small club which you think is gonna get knocked out or gonna get totally um took apart by the top teams get through, and it's good to see. Um, and I and and I can only see this World Cup getting better. Um later on today, um Panama play England. England um have got four points, they need to beat um Panama. Um, I think a draw would do right, but they can't re rely on a draw, they have to get a win against um Panama, and I think they will. I think they will. I think the last game that they played, I think England won. I'm not sure by how much, but I think they won. So yeah, um Kane missed a shot and goal um against Ghana, so he'll have to be at the top of his form. England will have to be um switched on from the first um whistle to the last whistle on 90 plus minutes. So yeah, I think that England's form and players on paper should get the job done with the win over Panama, but in this World Cup, you never know. Just look at um Cape Verde, no one gave them a hope. Look at Uruguay um before the games, um, Spain and Uruguay were the top teams to go through. Spain's gone through, and Uruguay are going home. So, yeah, in this beautiful game, you never can tell how um teams are gonna do.

England win against Panama, but not convincingly

SPEAKER_00

I have just watched um I have just watched the game between Panama and England. Um England won the game 2-0, but they took an hour to score the first goal against Panama. Um, I think Panama are ranked 33 or 34 in the world, so they are a below average team. And for me, England in a way got lucky because what what worries me about England is that they slow pass the ball around um at a pace that is too easy, it's too predictable, there's no rushing of the passing, it's um it's slow, it is um pedestrian, and that kind of slow passing will not hurt the top teams, you know. When the top teams um will have watched that game and looked at the slow passing of England, that kind of passing can't hurt those teams, you know, because the slower that you pass the ball around, it gives your opponents time to react to the passing, the crossing, the shots. Um and also as well, when you um slow pass the ball or get in the habit of passing the ball around slow, when you have to raise your game and go through the gears, uh you can't do it. The top teams are used to um passing the ball around much much more quickly, and the reason that the top teams um pass the ball around so quickly is that it gives your opponents less time to think and react. Yeah, if you can pass the ball around faster, your opponent is more likely to make mistakes. So, England for me have got have got to get into the habit of passing the ball around slower. But that kind of passing, it takes time to build up to. You can't do it in one tournament, you've got to do it in your training, um week in, week out, month in and month out. It takes time to do it automatically. Um and the first goal was scored by Jude Bellingham, it was a corner, and they went one up after an hour. Um also the I think the second goal was scored by Harry Kane. Um, and that second goal was his 11th goal in the World Cup, so he broke Gary Lineker's um record of 10 goals. So, yeah, um a big congrats to Harry Kane. But again, it's Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham who came up with the goals, and yes, those two players are top players, but you can't keep on looking to your top players to score your goals because at some point they are gonna get injured or not hit form, and then where are the goals gonna come from for me, and that is a worry. Also, um Tuchel doesn't know his best 11. I mean, um he's played three games, plus he's played about two or three warm-up games before the World Cup, and he still doesn't know his 11 best teams. Um, and when England don't score, um he'll make changes by substitutes, and when he puts on new players, there's still not that much improvement for me. So um going forward, that's a big worry because now um I think England are gonna play. Um, I'm not sure who to play next. I think it's Senegal or the Ivory Coast. I'm not sure um how it's gonna be worked out, but yeah, um the next game is knockout football, and the top teams won't give you an hour to score a goal. I mean, going forward, um the team who England play will have watched those two games against Ghana and Panama, and and thought to myself, if we can just play a defensive game for an hour um or for a first half and hopefully get behind the England defence and get a quick goal on the break, um, that's what they'll be looking to do to get a win against England. Um, also England's defence was too lax. Um, those two or three um chances that they let Panama through, and really um Panama should have scored, should have scored those um um two goals at least or more, you know, against the top teams, England are gonna be um they're gonna be struggling, you know. So um yeah, England got the win, but if that was against a top team, most likely England would have raised their game, but you can't keep on raising your game to big levels. Um what I mean is if you're in the first gear or second gear, you can't just um change to the fourth gear or fifth gear or go into overdrive. You have to go through the gears, and for me, at this moment in time, England haven't got the players to go through the gears. Um, as I say, they don't know what is the best 11, and that's a worry for me. Um at this moment in time, can England win the World Cup? Um the performances by Ghana and against um Panama, I would say no, but England have to have to go through the gears much quicker. Um what we'll see going forward, um, we'll see how England cope with the pressure of knockout football. Um England at this stage, I think in knockout football, if there's no goal scored, I think it goes to extra time. And we all know what happens if a goal is not scored in extra time, it goes to the dreaded um penalties that England just hates. So um, yeah, we'll see what happens in the next game. But England and Tuchel will have looked at that game and thought, you know what? Um the performance was not good enough. That performance was not good enough to win the World Cup, and they'll have to make improvements all around the pitch for me. So, yeah, let's roll on to the next to the next game.
