SPEAKER_01

I'm Mr. G.

SPEAKER_00

I'm Mrs. G. And this is a safe word society. So get yourself comfy because it's time to go again. I didn't return to that bit, I didn't practice that bit.

SPEAKER_01

No, I don't that's what I like. I like watching your brain melt into oh I shouldn't want to say something.

SPEAKER_00

I've got to finish it somehow.

SPEAKER_01

One episode, in fact, it'll probably trigger you to death. I'll do that bit.

SPEAKER_00

Will you? Should we try it on the next one?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Oh I've got an itchy eyeball.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, because I feel like episode six, people will come to expect you saying something. And it's just like bam.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I want to say something fucking unhinged though.

SPEAKER_00

Oh god, okay. This is why I like control of that bit. Okay, it's fine, we're holding with it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

What have we got this week?

SPEAKER_01

Well, um, when this gets released, it'll be a few weeks ago. But in real life, in real time, it was obsession a few days ago.

SPEAKER_00

It was on Saturday just gone.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Our first event at a new venue.

SPEAKER_01

Brand new venue. Brand new event.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Same old people.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So it was an event that we'd always hosted at another venue. Yes. Um, and we switched it up a little bit to entirely make it the event of our dreams, kink event of our dreams.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And it's at a new venue in the Midlands called Ministry.

SPEAKER_01

New venue. And uh my mindset of it was a lot of people will come and it'll probably end up just being a social. Because it's a brand new club, and you know, the it's just the gang getting back together, basically. How wrong was I?

SPEAKER_00

Oh my gosh. I started pooping myself when the tickets, when I realised we were at 120 people, I started pooping myself.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I started pooping my pants. Because first event in in a situation we've ever hosted our first event, not normally that busy.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, actually, yeah, you're right. You're right.

SPEAKER_00

And although we have an incredible community, incredible community that we we've somehow coined the G community.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Um did not expect the amount of support we had. No. So I was pooping myself before we even arrived through the door. And then seeing that amount of people, yeah, pooped myself again. Oh no. Not actually, by the way, just for clarity.

SPEAKER_01

If if we take it right back, like we were very nervous about announcing the the new event or the new venue and stuff like that. And we posted online and we sold 50% in 24 hours, didn't we?

SPEAKER_00

I th I I cried. I think I threw up and I had a panic attack.

SPEAKER_01

You did. All within about five minutes. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

By the way, I cry very easily over stuff when it comes to support, like events and stuff like talking post-obsession.

SPEAKER_01

God, yeah. After obsession, when we lay in bed at the hotel, we guys, you know, talk, we got undressed, got into bed, and then we normally just like doom scroll for a little bit, don't we?

SPEAKER_00

We just had some switch off time. My autistic brain, I need to recharge.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So I'm doom scrolling, and a video comes up, Jimmy Carr, and there was a lad in the audience who'd been bullied. So Jimmy was like, Do you know what? Fuck it, I'm gonna come and say hello to you. So he's cutting all through the crowd, and the guy was right at the back and he was chatting away to him. It was a three-minute video, and you know, he's giving them this speech about bullies, and it was lovely. And then, like, just as I'm watching it, all I feel in the bed is like, is she having a wank? I'm like, what are you doing? And here she is with a phone, like that, just just reading statuses, just crying.

SPEAKER_00

I was eyes out. I was crying. And listen, everyone who knows me comes to expect this of me now. If you're nice to me, I cry. Well, that was one of our That was one of the scenes we did. It's one of our peaks. But we're not gonna get into that now. Yeah, yeah, it's another side. We need to focus on obsession. That's not true. We can't we can't sidetrack today.

SPEAKER_01

We're not sidetracking.

SPEAKER_00

We're not sidetracking. But I was crying because holy moly.

SPEAKER_01

Jeez, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Was it incredible? Yeah. And the the status afterwards, because I came away with some things I wanted to change, didn't I? Like I like immediately.

SPEAKER_01

Immediately in the car, we said we want to reduce capacity, reduce capacity, so it gives more people the opportunity to play. Because I think one of the biggest problems was when you come out into the main room, obviously, there was a lot of people who just came for the sake of coming and wanted to see everybody and catch up with old friends, everyone just lingered in that sort of point because it was like the main sort of social area, yeah. Um and that wasn't that much of a problem to be fair, but just created a lot of body heat.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and it was a hot day anyway.

SPEAKER_01

It was a hot day, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

We want to reduce capacity because for us, we've always been keen on if you want to play, there's the space to play. Yes. Like if you want to do a scene, there's the space to do a scene. Yeah. And for us, our events aren't about numbers in that way. Oh god, no. Our events are about the experience. Yes. So we were like, do you know what? We want to reduce the capacity down.

SPEAKER_01

Reduce the capacity, give more people the opportunity to play.

SPEAKER_00

And I always forget at kink events, which does tend to happen quite a lot, you get probably 20% of people who come, scene, and go.

SPEAKER_01

Uh yeah, they do.

SPEAKER_00

And I always forget that. So I was like, oh my god, was it a flop? Wasn't it horrific?

SPEAKER_01

There was two of our mates who came up to me early and was like, right, we're going. And I was like, they are the normal scene and go. Yeah. I was like, yeah, no worries, no problem. But in the back of my mind, I was like, oh shit, like, yeah. Is this bad? But then when we seen them at the breakfast the next morning, they were like, Oh, we had the sickest scene ever back at the hotel. Like, we we couldn't do it at the club because of XYZ. And I was like, Yeah, see.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and they were like, the event was amazing, blah blah blah. So seeing all those statuses for me, I was like, Oh my god. And do you know what got me? Seeing some other event organisers, the BBB crew, yeah, come over.

SPEAKER_01

The scary lesbians.

SPEAKER_00

The scary lesbians were clean them. And you will at some point meet them as we will at some point get them on. Come over, bring some of their crew who are incredible humans as well.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Come and work our event for us for nothing more than thanks and gratitude. Pretty much had had to rugby tackle them to get them to even put a drink to the code. Well, I'll come back to that, yeah. Like that is the most touching thing ever, because that is what this community is about. I know. It's not people who work at the same venue. This isn't that. No. This is people who host their own event in their own space, yeah, in the same area, coming to your event to help you fund nothing more than love of the game. Love of the game and friendship.

SPEAKER_01

Because I've I've known them for a while and speak to them every time at the PvP. Um they do struggle to like sort of just drift into the background and do a scene, if you get what I mean. Because they are such big people on their scene, and they are incredible people.

SPEAKER_00

And if you don't want to go and speak to them, then you've clearly never met them because everyone wants to speak to them.

SPEAKER_01

They are amazing. That's the trouble wedding card scene. Yes, because everyone wants to speak to them, and they will give everyone the time of day because they're lovely, and it was just so nice to go and watch them set up and just because they had a good it was a decent time scene.

SPEAKER_00

Like you end up robbing their lube by accident.

SPEAKER_01

I did, I did, because my bag was sort of by the bench, and as I pulled my bag, their lube must have been next to the bag, and it's the same as ours. Same brand of lube. So I was like, Oh, the lube full of So I had to do an emergency lube run.

SPEAKER_00

Is that what that was for? That was for that? Ah, okay, yeah. And then I literally post scene I said, Do you use Lubido? Yeah. Lubido if you want to sponsor us, we we run through a lot of lube. And they went, Yeah, we do. I was like, so do we. Go ask Mr. G if he's got two bottles of lube in his bag.

SPEAKER_01

And I did, I did.

SPEAKER_00

And to be fair, they could have nicked our more full bottle because we had just restocked to the brand new bottle.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And we'd have been oblivious. Oh.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah. But uh no, that was.

SPEAKER_00

Did you hit my chair click then?

SPEAKER_01

If I suddenly collapse everyone, JP, just just between me and you, next time you set this up, can you just like click it and then just balance it? Press record and then invite us in.

SPEAKER_00

Because I pin myself to the back of this chair.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, she does. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Won't know which, it'll be one of us. Well, I survived the chair. We can go back to obsession. I'm still here for now.

SPEAKER_01

But with us saying um, oh, we're gonna reduce capacity because we want more play space, that's no reflection on the club.

SPEAKER_00

No way.

SPEAKER_01

The club has got shit tons of like every room is just equipment, equipment, equipment. Oh my god, and it it it's purpose-built for a king, isn't it?

SPEAKER_00

And also, they're still not finished yet. So they've they opened more spaces at our event because they're still working on the venue. Yeah, there's still another space to be done, and there's still more work to be done, and these ladies are working butts off on this venue.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And uh the the the I only have one instance of this, but it's um someone needed a sheet for the private room. So I came down and spoke to one of the owners and said, Listen, is there anywhere to get a sheet like, or you know, just to uh change the sheet in the private room? And he went, Oh, it's in the pink room. And he looked at the other owner and they're like, Oh, I was like, Well, where's the pink room? I'll go. And they're like, No, no, it's okay, I'll go. I was like, No, save your legs. Like you've been around all night, yeah. Let me go do it. No, I'll go do it. You host your event. And I was like, Joe, oh, fair enough. I mean, m most clubs would do that, but it's just nice, like it's nice to go into a new club and see great people. And they smash their checking people in.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I mean, that was a big ask checking in, like, because obviously ministry's been open a while now.

SPEAKER_01

Couple months, would you say? I know I think it's a bit longer than that, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But they've never had a big bulk of people arrive who all need memberships.

SPEAKER_01

Did like in within a short space. In a short space of time.

SPEAKER_00

Because we only had an hour and a half entry limit for our event as well. Yeah. And they smashed it.

SPEAKER_01

They did.

SPEAKER_00

They smashed it. And I have to say, I was so happy with how everything ran.

SPEAKER_01

It was, it was just so smooth, right?

SPEAKER_00

I would just like to reduce capacity purely from a perspective of our own personal thing. But we do the same when we host Glow at Townhouse. Yeah. We choose to reduce capacity purely from our own opinions. And that's the beauty of privately hiring somewhere.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you can't put some rules in place.

SPEAKER_00

You can do that, you know. And clubs run to ratios anyway, whether you're private hiring or not.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But when you're private hiring, you just get to be as fussy as you want. And I'm very fussy.

SPEAKER_01

You do. But it makes her best and I don't know. Because it's busy, but it's not shoulder-to-shoulder sardines.

SPEAKER_00

It's not shoulder-to-shoulder sardines. And it's also for us with a kink event, I want everyone to play. And boy, did they play.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my.

SPEAKER_00

Can I say they've got like I'm calling it the perv window?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I don't like it.

SPEAKER_00

I'm calling it the perv window. I don't think it's called the perv window.

SPEAKER_01

It's something like that though. The viewer's window. It's something like that, yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I spent so much time in that window. Yeah. And do you know what was great? A little pervers. I was perving my heart off, you know. So you were off. Um, I think you're helping somebody with something. And um, I literally was in the window, and there was like loads of scenes going on, and one of our friends was in the window with me. Yeah. There's a few of our friends there, but one friend in particular was like, What's going on in here? And I was like, Well, they're doing cotton, they're shagging, they're doing CBT, and they're about to do a torch scene.

SPEAKER_01

I love it.

SPEAKER_00

And then all of a sudden I was like, Hey, hey, there's our friends. Hey, look, while they're setting up, I want them to know that I'm perving. And I was through the window. One of our other friends came and shot it, so no one could see. Because it's two-way glass, by the way, so you can't see when you're in the perv window.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So Jade, one of the owners of ministry, was like, Do you want me to quickly turn the lights on so they can see is all in the window? So I turned the lights on. None of them even noticed. Oh no, oh no, one of them did. One of them did notice. The one I wanted to notice, noticed. No one else in the room noticed. Because afterwards I spoke to one of the other people seen in. Yeah. And I was like, Did you see me in the perv window? And they were like, No.

SPEAKER_01

In the what?

SPEAKER_00

They were like, What do you mean? Where were you? I was like, Oh, they're in the purve window, I turned the lights on. They're like, No, that's it.

SPEAKER_01

There was um there was one point, you know, when you go on the stairs upstairs to the top deck on the landing. Yeah. It's got a load of fairy lights, hasn't it? On the top, big net of fairy lights. Well, Mr. Whips and Sticks was up top playing. So I went up, went up, went up just to like watch and just, you know, have a bit of a banter with him. And uh he went, Oh, nice, aren't they? He went, No, they're off. And I was like, Oh shit, yeah. And this is because So I was looking for the plug everywhere and then ran down to the uh the ministry ladies, and he went, Oh yeah, the plug's in the private room. I was like, not a problem. Because I knew it was in there.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It was um Likinky.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So I was like, yeah, not a problem. No well went upstairs and like the door, you can there's a gap, it's sort of like that. You can't really see anything because it's here and the bed's there. Yeah. So you can't really see anything. So I'm like, Dad looking through the gap, and all I could see was like a leg up, and then just like a naked thigh, and that was it. And I was like, this isn't the time to knock.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, so did you leave it?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

No, I didn't.

SPEAKER_01

I then went up and I was I went back to whips and sticks and was like, listen, they are balls deep at each other, so you're just gonna have to enjoy the ambient lighting.

SPEAKER_00

No, I went and knocked.

SPEAKER_01

Did you? Yes. Yeah, see, that's more you that.

SPEAKER_00

A is more me that. I went and knocked. I was like, I'm really sorry, but you've turned the lights off to the whole top deck. So basically, also, in case anyone's wondering, Ministry actually had an electrician coming in today.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Um, to move that out. Yeah. But that room had only opened that day.

SPEAKER_01

But they got it ready for us. They were trying to get the second one ready as well.

SPEAKER_00

So basically, obviously, electricians take time to move electrics around. Like that's not a five-second job. So obviously, that was just something that you couldn't predict, but was rather funny.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, it was hilarious. And like I knew if I knocked on the door, he would be like, Oh, what's happening? You okay? I don't know, they'll have a laugh about it, but I was like, I really don't want to do that.

SPEAKER_00

Oh no, I didn't open the door, I just knocked. Someone's like, Can you just turn the lights back on because you've turned all the lights off? Thank you. And he just ran away.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Which is very me, by the way.

SPEAKER_01

It is.

SPEAKER_00

But I am also the party pooper.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, what did you what did you poop?

SPEAKER_00

I've thought we've got to be the party pooper. So, like 20 minutes for the event when people are still playing. Who has to go around and be the party pooper?

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah, that's a you job.

SPEAKER_00

See? It's a me job.

SPEAKER_01

I like doing the one five minutes before. Because I by that point I'm tired. I haven't really got a filter.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but before that, you're still like, oh, they're having fun, leave them. And I'm like, they gotta get dressed, they gotta get out. Like, you know, if you've got one more orgasm left, you need to know you're on a time limit.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah, the that's um, yeah, the five minutes left. I've got no patience for them.

SPEAKER_00

And five minutes left, you're not gonna be able to do that.

SPEAKER_01

There's very few times. There was one time a cloud where someone was having like a threesome on the bed. I just stood there in the doorway. I was like, right, you've got to go.

SPEAKER_00

Because no, but also you have to remember with clubs as well, I think people forget this. The finish time isn't you finish playing at that time, the finish time is the club is closed at that time. You've got to be out. And for example, at somewhere like Townhouse and a lot of other clubs where you've got a bar tab, you've got to go down, join a queue of people paying their bar tab. If you're ordering a taxi, you need to wait for your taxi. Yeah, there's a lot of things you need to consider. Like I thought last 15 minutes of the event, you should be just getting the door. You should be getting ready to go, yeah. Just be getting out the door.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So um, I mean, like it he knew me, do you know what I mean? We did we did have a red banter where he was like, Oh, I just want to finish and then I'll get dressed. I was like, Well, fucking good luck, and picked up the bin bag and just started and you just did you pull the thing in the bag. You are the worst, I was just eye contacting with him, and he was adamant he was gonna go. So he's carrying on. I just sped it up a little bit and he was like, Do you know what? Fuck you. I'm gonna have a wank in the hotel. It's like good lads.

SPEAKER_00

But I'm always the party people, however, some of my friends now, well, our friends, think it's hilarious. So there's one group of friends who I won't name because I'm not sure that they'd be okay with it. But one group of friends that we know really well were sat on the um sofas at ministry.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And I went over and I was like, I have to be the party pooper now. But you know what's great about being the party pooper at the same time? I get to give hugs and kisses to everybody, not everyone's just running out the door.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

However, however, I was like, I get to be the party pooper now. And they were like, oh my god, you secretly love this because everyone, everyone gets mean to you. And I'm like, I actually secretly do love it. But if you're actually mean to me, I'll cry. Like, if I've actually like, if someone's actually angry at me, I'd cry. Yeah, if someone's but when our friends are like, oh boo, Mrs. G, boom, I'm like, Yeah, yeah, when it's jokey.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like that that's the approach we kind of take, isn't it?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but you've got it, someone's gotta be the party pooper, unfortunately. When you're having a good night and you're having a good time, you do lose track of time.

SPEAKER_01

I'm glad you do, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So someone's always got to be the party pooper, it just falls to me.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. The seven till one was nice though.

SPEAKER_00

Seven till one was quite nice.

SPEAKER_01

Rather than the eight till two.

SPEAKER_00

Rather than the eight till two. Do you know what it was? It was nice to get in bed, be in bed, and like by quarter to two, when we know we're getting up for breakfast with everybody the next morning, I was like, oh my god, I've still got six hours sleep.

SPEAKER_01

That's what I mean. Like quarter to two is not too bad. But when you're like quarter three, you're like, Is there any point going to sleep? Yeah, that's a yeah, it's heavy hours.

SPEAKER_00

No, but honestly, I loved obsession. Everyone was playing everywhere.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, and when we were having Brecky the next day, the village staff. Well, yeah. Like, are you are you just a group of friends that like to get together? We're like, Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, some of our friends were like, Oh, actually, uh, we all came down for an event. Like, these guys run an event, you need to go speak to them.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god, we want to come to your event.

SPEAKER_00

Uh, we were like, You'll see some things.

SPEAKER_01

I shouted over from the other side of the building and said, You'll see some shit. Like, okay, welcome. Fucking hell.

SPEAKER_00

I was like, be back 7th of August.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But you know what? That that village was lovely. They were really nice.

SPEAKER_01

Village was great. Yeah. The village always is.

SPEAKER_00

We always stay at the village. Like, even when we go away from work, we if we can stay in a village, we'll stay in a village. Purely because for us, I like the size of the rooms and the beds are comfy. I need a good bed. Do you know where else I meant to have good beds, Premier Inns?

SPEAKER_01

I know you keep saying this, but I've sold me sold to the village.

SPEAKER_00

But do you know what the thing is though? As well, Premier Inns are often more expensive than the village.

SPEAKER_01

I know. I know. And also the village always have a Starbucks. Well, I th that that was the main thing there now.

SPEAKER_00

I I I know you're meant to be boycotting Starbucks. I'm really sorry. I've tried. I can't. I'm not I'm not strong enough.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but what's the alternative, Costa?

SPEAKER_00

Costa.

SPEAKER_01

Fuck off, Costa shit.

SPEAKER_00

I I don't like Costa coffee. I don't I don't and I I call on my wife, my best friend Spanx, who I know will have no issue with me mentioning their name.

SPEAKER_01

Imagine she did.

SPEAKER_00

Imagine she did. She divorced. Yeah. You wouldn't have shared custody anymore?

SPEAKER_01

Uh no, you just go to Spanx. Like, regardless.

SPEAKER_00

I just have to go. She'd just have to ignore me. Yeah. So Spanx is my best friend. I call her my wife. We are literally like inseparable. Speak every day. Like the only person other than you that I speak to every day.

SPEAKER_01

More than me.

SPEAKER_00

Probably more than you.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. But regardless, was avid Costa lover. Bullied them to get on the Starbucks train. Yeah. And is now.

SPEAKER_01

Fucking change your tune, your shit house. If you're fucking true to Costa, you'd have still been with Costa.

SPEAKER_00

Like now.

SPEAKER_01

Brainwashed her.

SPEAKER_00

But is loyal enough to me that does not get a Starbucks without me. Unless it's with one of her children who only does drink. One of her older children does only like Starbucks. But if Spanks is going for a coffee and I'm not there, still goes to Costa. But does prefer Starbucks now. So listen, Starbucks, I'm your main promo girl. And that Ube drink, if you can bring it back, it'd make me very happy. Because currently I have to drive around the Starbucks and be like, have you got any Ube left? I'm like an addict.

SPEAKER_01

Do you got a carton of it in the Starbucks?

SPEAKER_00

I've got a carton of it in the. I can't talk about that because I'm not meant to have that. That was that was contraband given to me by one Starbucks. To be fair, I can't actually remember which Starbucks it was that gave it me because it was a random stop-off.

SPEAKER_01

It was it was down south, right?

SPEAKER_00

It was down south, but it wasn't where we stayed, remember? We drove and then we stopped off.

SPEAKER_01

Anyway, no one gives a shit about coffee. No, um JP, you don't give a shit about coffee, do you? No. I I I zoned out there while you were talking about coffee. I was just yeah. Anyway, obsession.

SPEAKER_00

Obsession was incredible.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And by the way, we were all happy the next morning. Fuck everything. Obsession's got a cat.

SPEAKER_00

It has got a cat. Ministry has got a cat.

SPEAKER_01

Couldn't believe it. And it's the nicest cat ever, isn't it? Yeah, it is. When you're watching this, when you're coming to ministry next time for obsession, bring I was saying this to people on the night. I was like, either bring a few chicken nuggies or a pack of ham or tuna, whatever.

SPEAKER_00

Do you know what's funny though? In one of our previous episodes, we talk about how when you're at a club, it's great because you're not getting distracted by the cats and stuff.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And then I was like, well, this is awkward now because we went to ministry and they've got a cat and everyone was distracted by the cat.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, it was hilarious. We were we were we were outside and some someone mentioned about fetwear, like what you wear. I was like, well, wearing as long as it's black, and then the cat turned off, and I was like, look, he's wearing black. Even the cat's got fetwear. Absolutely gorgeous.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. But obsession was genuinely awesome. Like I saw scenes from CNC, free use, needles.

SPEAKER_01

Someone got turned into a cake.

SPEAKER_00

Someone got turned into a cake. Impact, the people were doing tickling.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Like I think you saw everything. Everything.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But there was water awesome. There was water, there was impact. There was CBT, there was pegging.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

There was cotton.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I don't there was just general tomfoolery.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, they were general fooleries.

SPEAKER_01

I had a lovely bit of Tom Foolery. You do love a bit of Tom Foolery.

SPEAKER_00

And do you know what also was so, so lovely was seeing the ministry members who'd come along and trusted us to come along to our event.

SPEAKER_01

And getting integrated with all our gang. And it's just that is that that was that was the point, barely when it was the point.

SPEAKER_00

Like I can't tell you how much I love the friendships in this community. I rave about it all the time and I'll rave about it forever. And you're never gonna hear me not rave about it. But you get to see them all come together and make friends, and then like at the end of the night, there was a couple of people who were coming up to me and they were, oh my gosh. And then I got a message the next day where it was like, oh, one person had their phone out, and I've never seen a host who instantly dropped what they were doing, which I was actually trying to fix the music at the time, to go and find the person and deal with it. They were like, it was just like the message was super sweet. They were like, you are the kind of people that this community needs because you were so on it. And I know you weren't overly happy with a few things like the like the music and the capacity, and I knew you wanted to make changes, but I wanted you to focus on positives, and I was like, Yeah, I did go into it thinking You're gonna have teethen issues.

SPEAKER_01

There's gonna be teethen issues. Of course there is. Um especially with And you and the group that we brought with us, like it was a big group. Big group. We always said to ourselves it's gonna be a test of knife for them, it's gonna be a test of knife for us.

SPEAKER_00

Because you, for all we knew as well, our group could have been like, we hate this venue. Yeah. We hate this venue.

SPEAKER_01

And we could have spent the whole night trying to convince everybody that But we didn't need to.

SPEAKER_00

Oh no, it was just Do you know one thing else I would like as well? I would like to provide some more um seating, I think.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah, I think so.

SPEAKER_00

And also, a few people expected us to do a speech. Because obviously, normally we do a game and a speech, yeah. And I didn't. But do you know why I didn't, guys? I was an emotional wreck. I'd have probably cried. Well, next time we're doing We'll be move back to the game and everything next time.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's a birthday thing, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It's a birthday game. And if you've watched episode four and you've heard about my love of jigsaw, you'll be inspired by what the game will be.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I've got a sick scene plan.

SPEAKER_00

And we're gonna need lots of you to get involved. So in the chat beforehand, there'll be a lot of planning going on.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And I essentially I am the game.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

unknown

I wanna play a game. Wanna play a game.

SPEAKER_00

I can't do that voice though. What do you mean?

SPEAKER_01

We're gonna be. Should we wrap it up there?

SPEAKER_00

Shall we?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Is that where we're gonna leave it? I think so. So, okay, the takeaways you need to take is obsession was amazing, the community is amazing, the scenes were incredible.

SPEAKER_01

Like they were they were up to standards, weren't they? Of our events. Don't you get what I mean now?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, like it wasn't like it was a first event at a new venue. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Um because uh people at our events know that they can they can play to their limits. Yeah, yeah. And there was none of like, oh well, let's not go that hard because you know we're at a new event and a new venue. It was just like, yeah, sound G's event, let's fucking go.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, ministry was awesome. Yeah, we're going back to our friends' event, Carnage, in July. Yeah, same venue, same venue, um, 4th of July. Could be wrong. I'm sorry. So it is the 4th of July. There you go, 4th of July. So we'll be there at Carnage, so and we're on the fun side.

SPEAKER_01

It's got an insane team planned.

SPEAKER_00

If you are coming along, hit us up on Instagram, let us know. Yeah, um, or on Fat Life either or. And other than that, the ministry ladies are incredible. We can't wait to be back.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah. Just a vibe.

SPEAKER_00

Just a vibe, and the whole event was a vibe. It was. And I guess all that there's left for me to say is love you bye.
