The beast waits beyond the firelight.

For generations, tales of wolf-men have echoed through forests, villages, and forgotten roads. Some believed they were cursed. Others claimed they were monsters hiding among ordinary people. A few insisted they were real.

In the first entry of the Book of Lore, we trace the origins of werewolf folklore from ancient myths to documented accounts, exploring the fears, beliefs, and mysteries that transformed one of humanity’s oldest predators into a legend that still survives today.

Was the werewolf merely a product of superstition? Or did something more unsettling lurk beneath the stories?

Open the book and discover the legend.
