Hello, Gregory. And welcome everybody to the next episode of The Losing Ticket. As you can probably tell by the title, we're going to talk about the brand new uh stadium that opened up here in Western New York for the NFL Buffalo Bills. And um my first impressions, my first uh three, four hours of pre-talgating for a fucking practice, not a fucking game. Going with a very good friend of mine who was risen from the dead recently. And um I'm just gonna talk about I guess my perspective on the stadium, and uh that's it. So uh I am 54, okay, so my stadium was the old Buffalo Bills Stadium. I refer to it as Rich Stadium. I guess you could tell by maybe the age of the Buffalo Bills fan, but some people will call it the Ralph, some people will call it Rich Stadium, and some people will call it High Mark Stadium. And right now it's also called High Mark Stadium, so they kept the name. Don't get me started on that. And that's not just the Buffalo Bills, it's every fucking franchise, almost, almost. Uh, every fucking franchise and college team uh in the United States and Canada. Um, I really don't I you know it's easy for me to say because it's it's you know they're getting 20 million, 30 million, whatever it is they're getting for five years, or I who knows. And I don't really care. I don't I don't really care. I'm sorry. But these guys are billionaires. So for me, if if you're a billionaire and you're gonna get an extra couple million a year to name your stadium, to me that's that's kind of chintzy. It's if you're like one of these third-tier soccer teams or a high school team, and you want even the high school teams don't fucking do it. The high school teams usually name it after a coach that's been there for 30 years or or uh, you know, god forbid, a former student that might have been killed in one of the wars over the past century, you know, that happens and and and more power to them. But obviously, um, you know, these NFL franchises, NBA and HLMLB, where they have these billion-dollar TV contracts and charge exorbitant prices for everything, and they still need to irk out a couple million fucking dollars a year so they can name it after a fucking healthcare fucking insurance company, or isn't it? I I think there's one in San Diego at one point. It was like a it actually literally fucking said dot com in the name of the stadium. Like, give me a fucking break. So for those franchises across the board, for those college teams across the board that are true to themselves and they stick to their fucking you know history and they keep the name of their stadiums, you know, congrats, and I have a lot of respect for that. I don't have respect for, well, I don't have respect for Terry Bagul at all, but um, I don't have respect for these franchises that are already billionaires and they want to eke out a couple million to rename a stadium. But that's uh not my control, and it is what it is. But I'm what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna talk about the new stadium and and what happened, the events that happened this past weekend, um, most notably on Saturday, uh August 8th. Oh my god, we're already in August. Um and I went with a f a very good friend of mine who recently was risen from the dead. And I would like to say personally that I am very calling myself Jesus, but I would like to say that I personally rose him. I I I came to him, he was passed out in an 18-wheeler. I opened the door because you know he's blocking the way to this company that I worked for at the time, uh, just to see what the hell is going on with this truck driver. You know, I figured it would be who knows, you know, some Russian, some Chinese guy, some Indian. Somebody who doesn't understand what's going on, which is usually the case from what I'm told. But I opened a door and here's this guy that looked like he was having a heart attack, but he was just taking a siesta in our parking lot. So I looked at him, I'm like, oh my god, that's that's Jerry. So I got my I got big old fat fucking sausage fingers and hands, and I gave him a couple slaps across the face. He woke up all sweaty and dis disheveled, and my god, it was just like it, and the cab stunk so bad. You I think he had a couple piss jugs in there. I I for truckers that might may or they may not be listening, I don't know. This guy had at least two or three piss jugs. I thought that they threw them out when they went for gas, but apparently this individual likes to save them. So in that nice 98-degree toasty fucking cab of his, he had some nice warm urine and it stunk. But slapped him around a little bit, woke up, he's like, Hey Matt, how are you doing? So we got to talking, and you know, we use a program. My my all my my buddies, my brothers and I, we use a program called Voxer, and it's basically like a walkie-talkie. Um, the intro to this podcast is that song, and you hear Gregory laughing a little bit at the end, but it would sound one of these programs, and it's basically like leaving a voice message that you don't have to, you just talk into it, and then whenever anybody has free time, they can go on this program and listen to this conversation. And it's actually quite hilarious, I must admit. That's that should be an episode, and it may very well be someday, an episode in its own, but that would require a lot of people to come in. And right now, I'm moving into a new house. I am having a studio that's going to be mine. Uh, you heard it here first, folks. You heard it here first. The losing ticket will also be available soon, probably in the end of September, on YouTube in the video form, so you will be able to look at my fat ass while I talk. And um, it is what it is, it is what it is. And uh, but let's uh let's get going. So, again, like I said, this Saturday it was uh called it was called the Red and Blue, the return of the red and blue. Basically, it's just a practice, which I enjoy, but it was a practice, uh, inner inner team practice, and the way the Bills had to do this in years previous at the old stadium as a season ticket holder, um, which I am, not gloating, because believe me, it's it's nothing to gloat about. Um, but as a season ticket holder back in the day, I was able to get like eight tickets, and yeah, it was a lot of people in the stands, but it was a good opportunity for kids to be able to go see the bills, right? I mean, the NFL is not a cheap ticket anymore, and it's hard for say a family to be able to get their kids that you know maybe they're under 14 to a game, and then that also allows that parent to shield them from um the league's leader and consumed beer. Oh, speaking of which, uh I got a little Budweiser here. Let me there it is. Ooh. Nice. I like Bud Red. I get I get teased about it, but I like Bud Red. Let's let's hear that. Let's hear it. Ah, yeah, that's a nice beer. Nice cold beer. Um, so I'm I'm drinking a beer. Uh anyway, um, these ge this this practice, the main reason for it, and I know because I took advantage of it with my boys, was to shield them from the drunks. The uh Buffalo Bills lead the NFL. I believe Green Bay or Detroit or Cleveland, somebody is second and consumed per fan at the stadium, and they're at like 4.1. I I found this either on YouTube or TikTok. I think it was YouTube though. 4.1 beers per person. Now, there's a lot of people that probably don't drink beer. So what does that mean, right? There's a lot of people drinking hell of a lot of beer. Well, that's second place. First place is the Buffalo Bills over eight beers. I don't I don't buy beer in the stadium. I I know if Richie comes in here, you might say that bullshit, but I refuse to spend $20 on a beer. Refuse. Not when I can buy a fucking 18 pack for $20 at 7-Eleven. But anyway. Another one was that the preseason games. So, alright, it's a new stadium. I get it. I went on Ticketmaster just for shits and giggles to see what a preseason game costs in Buffalo for this stadium. Now, if you go on on to Ticketmaster and you go to probably any city in this in the NFL, any any town, and you look at those tickets. If you wanted to look at for the cheapest seat, you probably can get it about 10 bucks, maybe even cheaper in some areas. And yeah, if you want to sit in a club seat, you're probably gonna still pay probably a hundred bucks because you're getting the club seat perks, right? Maybe it's free pop and free popcorn and hot dogs. I went to the Superdome last year and we had club seat tickets, and it was fantastic. And I am a Diet Pop drinker, I like Diet Coke or Pepsi. I used to be very peculiar around about that, but I'm not anymore. I'm actually fancying uh Sprite Zero right now. That is my choice beverage, but um that's whatever. Nobody nobody has that in stock because people are a bunch of shithes. It's it's not it's not cool enough to drink Sprite Zero, Buffalo Sabres, you fucking assholes. They just have like one diet. But anyway. Um the tickets for this preseason game for Carolina and I think it's Pittsburgh. Holy shit, three, four hundred fucking dollars for a ticket, three hundred dollars for a ticket, two hundred dollars for a ticket. Or if you want to go up high, it's still gonna be like $150 to $200 for a ticket. That is some bullshit. That is some severe bullshit, but I get it. People want to check out the stadium. People want to check out the stadium. Not going this week, not going to the Pittsburgh game either. I I help out a very, very close friend of mine and with her daughter. So her daughter and my friend's ex-husband, they go, and I believe it's Richie's parents or Richie and his mom, but whatever, are going to the Carolina game. And for me, that is all that matters because it's people that I love, but people that I love that would definitely not be able to go to a game. All right. So, but I I decided, and I I probably should have given these tickets away for this this red and blue scrimmage. Maybe I should have gave both to say Jerry and let him take Sarah or her daughter. Kind of, maybe it was a dick move in my end. Don't know. I I I regret it afterwards, but I think I was excited just to check out where my seat is. But it is what it is. So we go to the game, Jerry and I, and the practice starts at seven, and the parking lots open up at four. So people line up. Uh, if you don't know, the where the bills play is actually like in a neighborhood. It's not off of throughway. We uh Richie and I, when we went to go see ACDC last month, it was at the Charlotte's or uh the Carolina Panthers Stadium, Bank of America Stadium, um, but was at Carolina Panthers Stadium. And yes, there was a little bit of of um, you know, inner city, not inner city as in like hood, but like inner city as in downtown driving. Um, but getting out of that place was so freaking easy. It was like so smooth. That's the exact opposite in Buffalo. Um, there's only a few ways of getting out of that area. I guess from what Jerry told me, new uh New England Stadium and Foxboro is similar where you're kind of fucked at the end of the game. You might as well start cooking on the grill again. And I think I think I might actually do that this year. I I don't know if I because where we're gonna be parked, it's gonna be we're gonna be buried, and I don't know if I want to deal with that shit. I haven't I haven't decided yet. I haven't decided yet. But um so Jerry and I get there. We got there at like 2.45, 250, and we waited in this hot dog restaurant's park a lot till 3, and then we're gonna pull in to on Southwestern Boulevard, which is like one of the main thoroughfares past the stadium, hoping to blend in with the traffic. I don't really even ask, I just go, I do. I'm one of those dickheads, yes, I am. I just kind of fucking like I got dents in my truck, so go ahead and hit me. Don't give a fuck. I'm not looking to get in an accident, but it wouldn't be the first. It wouldn't be the first going into the stadium, it wouldn't be the first bump. I'll just I'll leave it at that. My son knows firsthand how much of an asshole I am. Well they all do, but my my son and I have been into a couple uh a couple uh instances where he had us like sleek down into his seat so he wasn't seen, and I'm like about to murder somebody, but I'm a much gentler person now. So Jerry and I are waiting, it's like three o'clock, so we pull out, and they didn't even fucking open the damn gates yet. I'm assuming first time communication breakdown, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Whatever. So I did what I did with Greg and his girlfriend Anne. I parked on the opposite side of Southwestern Boulevard. So basically, I I kind of strategically place myself between where the Airy County Sheriffs um they like park. One's at the corner of Abbott in Southwestern, and one is right in front of the parking lot. So I park right in the middle because I'm assuming these cops do not want to walk a quarter of a mile to my truck to tell me to move. And I'm I'm right in that, okay? I know I'm right because I wouldn't want to do it. And it's not like I'm holding up traffic, I'm on the side of the road. Both Greg has seen this happen, and Jerry has seen this happen, and Jeffrey has seen this happen, and it works. I just you you kind of like your butthole puckers up a little bit because you're just waiting for someone to come down, and that's all I don't want. But I don't give a shit. At the end of the day, he's gonna tell me to move and I'll just move. You know, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna fucking get shot or tasered over a fucking parking spot. But again, nobody, nobody came, and then you see the line just starting to move. So what I do is I get it, I go look, make sure safety first, bitches, safety first. I make sure that there's no cars coming in behind me or in front of me. It's just that line of cars that are waiting to get in, and I just do a U-turn illegally and blend into the traffic, and we got right in. So it's like 305, and we're already past where they scan your parking pass. Yes, I have a parking pass. Um, not that it's anything, it's just it's so much easier than having to pay credit. They don't actually let you park in these lots, and I'm gonna get into the lot situation. They don't let you park into these lots without a parking pass unless you have an ADA tag in your and I have an ADA tag. I got like a replaced knee, I have uh back surgery, I have two amputations on my right foot. What else? And I'm just a f- Oh, and tumors all over my fucking body, but whatever. Whatever. I I qualify for it per my doctor, and I'm gonna use it. And I have ADA seats, and we'll get to that. So we Jerry and I get in. Um he bought a half a pizza from Imperial Pizza for those of you that are Buffalo area. Imperial is very big, and especially in the South Buffalo area. Um I will answer the charges that um I'm not a big fan of Imperial. I like Imperial Pizza. Imperial Pizza is really good, but to me, they're inconsistent. So everybody's like busted on me. So, oh, you don't like Imperial, you don't like Imperial. Well, first of all, it's only fucking pizza, guys. Secondly, I like Imperial, but it just has to be made correctly. And when you're paying $32 fucking dollars for a large cheese and pepperoni pizza and it's undercooked, it's fucking bullshit. So the best way to go is to either go there and eat in-house, or you open up the fucking pizza and you look at it. And any self-right, self-fucking serving, justified, qualified pizzeria, especially the owner, will open the pizza and say, You good with this? And you say yes or no. Not fucking Imperial, they just fucking shit them out 100 an hour. So whatever. So we get a half a thing of Imperial, and I brought some Budweiser, and then Jerry had some leftover beers from like previous parties. I think it was mostly Canadian, and I think one of my old PBRs. I like PBRs. I like macro brews, boys and girls. I like macro brews. I'm not a big beer drinker, I'm not an alcoholic, like some people listening to this fucking boxer. And I think everybody in my group is an alcoholic at some level. But what am I gonna do? I mean, it's fun sometimes, right? Especially when I'm being babysat by my best friends, my brothers. So we have this parking spot that we I always back in. Word word of caution to the people that like to park at big events, whether it's concerts or or football or baseball, whatever. I recommend you go ass first so that your nose of the car is pointing out so you can just move forward. Because backing up when there's a lot of traffic and cars kind of trying to get out is a fucking shit show. And yes, I probably would have just, if I could, would have just drove right over the grass onto the road, but the Buffalo Bills knew that there's assholes out there like me. So what do they do? They put a um big old boulders and paint them red, white, and blue. So you can't do that. Great, it is what it is, it looks pretty, but it prevents me from going over their grass. So Jerry and I, we had a tent, but it was too windy. It almost blew off, blew away on us. So we took the tent away, but it was a beautiful Sunday uh afternoon, and Jerry had his Bartons, rum, and Dye Pepsi, and I had my Budweiser, and we had some I had a I had a sugar attack that day. So I had a Mountain Dew as a um life preserver. My sugars get down into like the 30s very frequently, so I like to have orange juice, Loganberry, which is a Western New York thing, and um Mountain Dew. Those are my like my my trinity towards saving my life. But in this case, I used Mountain Dew. We sat there and I I did what I did at ACDC. I talked to some of the people parked next to me, the people walking by, some uh guys, some alcoholic. If you've been to a Bills game, there's a lot of guys that walk around with like a 30-pack in their hand and they just walk around. Now, this is something that's kind of pisses me off. And I don't give a shit. It's irrelevant to me. It fucking dumb matter. But the Buffalo Bills apparently came out with like a list of rules of what you can and can't do in tailgating. And one of them was there's no sharing of beer and things like that. Now, if if anybody's ever been to a tailgating party at at one of the stadium, at the stadium lots, man, people are like coming up, you're giving people shots. It's like there's people that have the ski with all the shot glasses attached to the ski. Um, in the colder months, you got a fire pick going, and people just people from out of town are coming in. And I mean, if you're not a Patriot fan or Eagles fan who's a dick, or a Jets fan who's a dick, if you're not a dick, I'm sorry, but I I don't I don't care. Like you can come and hang out, just don't be a fucking asshole, just be a normal fucking person. And and you can show we'll share fire with you and in the winter and all that good stuff. And that's a lot of Buffalo Bills fans, and and people want to say Buffalo Bill fans are could be assholes. Yeah, everybody has assholes, but you meet those types of people at a tailgate, you're gonna have a good time. You meet the right people, you're gonna have a fucking good time. And there's a lot of people that are like that. We got guys that have like spreads, like food, and you man, if you just happen to say hi, you come on up with you. Do you want anything to eat? And that's like that's every fucking lot. And then you got the the super fan, and I don't like super fans. Super fan. So the Buffalo Bills, every team has them, I'm sure. To me, these are people that are just crying for attention. So the Buffalo Bills has a few super fans. We got this asshole that does Elvis, we have another asshole that puts on like a stormtrooper helmet. We have an ass, two assholes that are these two black guys that put cook put the chefs that put cooking uh like chef hats on. And we have what is Illumor on? Oh, the guy who does the the ketchup and mustard. He they had they spray on the ketchup and mustard. Mustard. He's in a different lot. A lot called um uh what's the fucking lot called? I forgot. I forgot, but whatever. Hammer's lot, hammer's lot. So that's at Hammers Lot. And then that's the Hammers Lot is also where the guy bakes the pizza in the in the in the file drawer, and you can do the bowling ball shot and all this other bullshit. It's funny. Like, oh you can't you cannot share you can't share your fucking drinks with people and you don't want to do all that, but you go into the Buffalo Bill Stadium this year, and they're gonna have a mixed drink served in a bowling ball. Like you fucking assholes. You unoriginal cocksuckers. So we're sitting there, we're hanging. I I know super fans are around me. I'm so fucking happy. I hate super fans. I don't give a shit. I hate super fans, so people love them. That's your that's on you. I don't give a shit. I hate super fan. So super fans are all around, or they want to be all around. They want to be seen, right? I didn't get picked. I got picked last in gym class, but now everybody wants to be next to Elvis fucking Presley. So oh wait. So we're sitting there meeting people and Richie, uh Richie, Jerry's uh brother shows up with his girlfriend and the girlfriend's son, they're real nice. And you know, it's about six-ish, I think, and we decide to go in. Because I always tend to go in about an hour beforehand. And yes, we were anxious to check out the stadium. So we head towards they have these uh where we're parked. All you had to do is walk across the street. Now you're right there on really basically on the stadium grounds, and in the area that we're at, they have these silver buffaloes, these really big silver buffaloes, and and they were kind of cool, and I guess they light up and things like that. And I heard a rumor when the bills score, they blow smoke out its nose. I don't know if that's true or not. I don't know if that's just some bullshit, but I did hear a rumor that that was in fact something that they did. If they did, that'd be kind of cool, especially on the road. Like if it was a road game and it still did it, that'd be kind of cool. In Buffalo, there's a lot of people that will blow a firecracker. So if you're watching your game and they score a touchdown, you'll you'll hear firecrackers blowing off, no matter probably where you are in Western New York, especially the more like first ring suburbs where you got a lot more people close by. But um, but that you know, again, we have a lot of people that are very passionate about the Buffalo Bills here. It's like in our DNA. All right. We don't have a lot going on in Buffalo. But we have our Buffalo Bills, and there's a lot of hidden gems. There's a lot of there's a lot of stuff that's really nice about Buffalo. Buffalo is gets a lot of like the kind of like the bad rap. But like from May, to me, to me, from May 1st until New Year's Eve, it's uh New Year's Day, it's perfect. Because you get the spring, the summer, the fall, the winter. So with the Bills games, I mean we get if you've ever been to a football game and it's snowing out, and you're dressed appropriately, mind you. Well, this is an old man talking, but you're dressed appropriately, there's nothing better. That Buffalo Bills 49ers game when Josh Allen threw it to Cooper, and Cooper, you know, that real famous play. I'm sure no matter where you are, you might have seen it like on NFL Network, and then Cooper like dishes it back to uh Allen and he dives for the touchdown. But like, it's just awesome. It's awesome. Rain games kind of suck. Um snow games are the best, and then like today, like this practice, it was like 70 degrees, perfect, perfect fucking weather. Um, it did rain a little bit, but it didn't bother me because again, it was in the 70s and it felt good. But we get in there and uh you go through security first. Now, back at the old stadium, uh you would go through security and then literally get your tickets scanned. Here it's a little different, and hopefully it prevents assholes that some of us know in this in my inner circle that are so cheap that they try to sneak into Bill's games as 40-year-olds, um, which I find absolutely pathetic. Um, but needless to say, they're not my friends anymore, for the most part, and I would never condone that. But uh in this case, you go through your security, they're very nice, and then you walk a little bit, and from what I could see, it was all black-topped, and it looked like they already were selling stuff. Like I thought I saw, and Jerry, when he comes on here next time or the first time, can probably validate it, but I saw like a little building that had like Budweiser or Bud Light or something. So maybe there's an opportunity for you to go buy beer before you get in the stadium, or it's not it's already on in the stadium, so I have a feeling you're able to buy beer there and walk in with the beer. Historically, they would have all these dumpsters, and when you walked in towards security, those guys and girls would take that last swig or pound that last beer and then throw the can in the dumpster and move on. This one I think they do a little different. Yeah, you cannot bring in a beer, but once you're past security, I think then you're you're able to buy stuff. But mind you, you're buying it from the Buffalo Bills, right? Uh the ticket place was real easy, and I asked the guy last year they did this facial recognition for season ticket holders, so they will have it starting in the preseason game. Mind you, I'm not going to the preseason game, but they will have that. So we uh Jerry and I go in, and I actually bump into one of my sister's good friends, Jamie, and um, but she had she has seasoned tickets because people there weren't all season ticket holders because you could have been given the tickets from a season ticket holder. You were not allowed to sell them unless you probably did it, you know, you know, off the market. You couldn't sell them on Ticketmaster, and I would I personally wouldn't have never sold them, but um, but some people probably did. But Jamie had season tickets, so that was cool. But she was in um up in like the 400s. And my my ticket, and I I don't even, I think it's section 135. Let me let me go to my wallet right here. Um, that's parking. Yeah, oh 132. I'm section 132, row 35 W. And why is it W? Well, I have ADA seats. So in this old the old stadium, the old Ralph Wilson stadium, the old um Rich Stadium is what I called it. Uh when George Bush Sr. passed the ADA rules, like in the early 90s, all these stadiums and places had to come up with a way for people with wheelchairs or disabilities to be able to get access the, you know, the game. Okay. Do I need a wheelchair? Do I need a wheelchair? No. And I will never ever get a wheelchair. Ever, unless I'm in the house, I'm again I'm in the hospital for some surgery, and they hate they they by by legal reasons they have to wheel you out on one. But but I'm gonna be in my deathbed before I'll get in a wheelchair. Um but again, this area is like a big flat area of like eight tickets or like eight seats. And for those that have a wheelchair, they they they just ride right up and they're perfect view. And for those that don't, you get a folding chair, and they're the ones that we had at the practice were like molded plastic, they were not uncomfortable. They're honest with you, it was very comfortable. But apparently, for the game starting on uh Carolina, they're gonna have super padded folding chairs. So cool, cool. I I actually like that because mind you, you you know, people that need this help, these seats are available for you. But I need to have that seat back so that my leg isn't crunched because the surgery with my leg, my foot um is really my my leg gets really tight, real tight, and then I'm constantly battle battling, and this is not what this is about, but I have um foot ulcers, foot, foot, foot wounds. So I'm I'm you sometimes I'm in a boot, sometimes I'm in something like to that effect. Um, because of my back, I bring a cane. I'm I'm a broken, I'm a denican, I I know this. But my point is that these seats are there for someone like me, someone like somebody who needs, say, that wheelchair, that extra space. And the old stadium that where they had it, when guys in front of you would stand, we would lose probably about a head's worth of the bottom of the field. So we would probably lose about, I don't know, maybe five yards, five yards of the bottom of the field, and you couldn't stand because we had these moron-rich people behind us, the the sweet people, but we could stand from time to time. So everybody that I was always with, we stood when it was a good play. So fuck those people behind us. They have the time when I turned around, they're like not even watching the game, anyways. You know, it's just like, oh, let's go to the game. Oh, cool, Bobby Suey, let's go to the game and have hors d'oeuvres and and and eat ribs and bullshit like that and and wings and beef on whack, but we're really not there for the game. But we'll cheer. Woo! Go buffalo, go fuck yourself. But needless to say, it's not that at this stadium. Um the stadium looks kind of cool, like they have they have like blue and red seats that kind of like it's almost like a digital pattern that goes around it. That's different. And they have two quote-unquote jumbotrons on both sides. I hear people complaining about them because they're not as big as what we had at the old stadium, but I I don't know really, I don't get it. I don't get uh there's come some valid complaints coming, okay? There are valid complaints, but that to me is not worthy of a complaint. It's fine. And then they have the ribbon that goes around, you know, and then like at the 50 yard line, they have even more kind of like mini little uh scoreboards. My point is calm the fuck down. Calm the fuck down. We went from a shit a 50-year-old stadium to a brand new stadium. We have smaller scoreboards. Shut the fuck up. That you want to talk about people who have to complain. I'm gonna talk about some of the shit that some people have to complain about. So my seat is on like the zero-yard line. Last year they were on the 25-yard line, but um I moved, I guess, closer to the end zone because it saved me $10,000 fucking dollars on seat licenses. And I was not about to pay that money. So the closer to the 50-yard line, the more expensive it is. From what I understand, the most expensive PSL. Now, this is Buffalo, mind you. This isn't fucking New York City, this isn't Chicago or LA or Miami or LA or Atlanta or Dallas, where they make all this fucking money and they have all these mega corporations. They don't have nobody here. I mean, oh our home, uh Rich Products is our home. Give me a fucking break. We have no major corporations, in all honesty, in the city of Buffalo. We have blue collar for the most part, because all the white-collar jobs are pretty much minimum wage bullshit jobs. And then you got a lot of people that just are entrepreneurs of some sort. We we don't have the the the economy in Buffalo is bad. All right. So our our houses are a little cheaper, they're getting higher because of the economy, but our our housing is cheaper than most. Um, but we don't we don't have the big salaries like New York and all these other places do. All right. So maybe from somebody from New York to say, oh, well, $25,000 for a seat license, uh, that's not that bad. Well, well, hey, good look good for you. First of all, good for you. If you can $25,000 is is chump change to you, man, you're doing well. And congratulations on life. Hopefully you worked hard for it, because that's they then you earned it, right? But um my seats went, I went from 25-yard line to go line. So I was I was like, uh, that's that's gonna stink a little bit, but I'll be honest with you, me, I loved it. I loved the seat, I love the area. Uh my I met my usher, my my little the little guy, little guy, but the guy that's in charge of like our little area, and he seems very nice. I asked him if he's gonna be the guy for this whole season. He said yes. So I I did what Rich Nobot hate or Rich Richie hates, and I um I introduced myself and I told him, you know, nice to meet you. I also met the people, the guy that was next to me, so did Jerry. He was in a wheelchair, a straight up wheelchair. He looked like uh he looked like a mountain man from like up in the mountains, like a hillbilly. He was very, very nice. So I'm looking forward to meeting him more and getting to know him. Um the the view, oh, and they're gonna put like a cup holder in front of me, and there's an outlet. I don't know if I'm allowed to bring in a power cord or not, but I have a fucking outlet literally in front of me. So I don't know. I'm gonna look at what I can and can't bring. And if I can bring in a cord, I'm gonna fucking power up my phone when I can't, or whoever's with me can power up their cord, you know, their phone. Kind of cool. I don't know if everybody gets that, but I know I have it in front of me. Um, did not walk around the stadium. I know my son will do that. I know Richie will do that, I know Greg will probably do that, and Mikey. I will do it at some point. Now, behind us, literally right behind us, is a bathroom, and then there's a beer stand, and then a pop and food stand, and they have apparently like these little areas like like symbols of the Western New York region. There's one, people know Buffalo Bills fans, they like to smash through um folding tables. That's like a thing. I've never done it. I'll watch it. I enjoy it more when the person gets hurt, like they bust an ankle or roll an ankle. I think that's funny. But um, but people do it. That's that's that's their prerogative, obviously. They have one of those, which I find hilarious. Hey everybody, don't party with other people in the parking lot, you know, these are new rules. But here's a folding table that we're gonna mimic as like part of like the infrastructure of the inner part of the stadium, and what does that mean? Well, that's people who party together and intermingle and get together, and that's the best fucking part. In all honesty, when Josh Allen retires, if we don't happen to get Green Bay Packer lucky and get another quarterback right off the bat, like going from Favre to Rogers, I don't think love is that good. I'm sorry, Packer fans out there, but he's okay, but he ain't that good. But going from Favre to Rogers, and you you go 20 fucking years without needing a quarterback, well, I'm gonna assume Buffalo's gonna be on the bad end of it again eventually. And that's gonna mean that the attendance is gonna drop again. Because again, if you think you're gonna charge $200 for a ticket for a team that's gonna win four, five, or six games a year, you're nuts in Buffalo. So eventually the stadium's gonna get down there and attendance like it always has in the past. And what's gonna be the best part of Buffalo still? The tailgating, because it always has been, always has been. I love our tailgating, and I'm sure Kansas City, from what I hear, has great uh tailgating. I heard Green Bay has great tailgating. I don't know who else. I think college does, I know that, but like I don't know anybody else. A lot of the I went to I see, let's see, I went to Jacksonville, they were eh, like there's more Bills fans partying. I didn't see any Jacksonville people doing their thing. I've been to Washington again, Bills fans dominated the fucking parking lots. Granted, Washington's a little bit better now than it was when I saw them. It was the it was like, I don't know, three years ago I saw them, but it was all Buffalo, all Buffalo. I've been to Indianapolis again, all Buffalo, and they don't even really let you have an open fire in Indianapolis. What other games did we go to? Oh, New Orleans. So last year I went to see the the Saints play the Giants because New Orleans is like if I win the lottery, if I win like the $500 million lottery, we're gonna have a house in New Orleans, we're gonna have something in Vegas, and we're gonna have our place in Buffalo. And New Orleans is so special, that's where my wife and I got married, and we go there every couple years, and I love it. And it's not oh you get the drink. No, I love jazz and I love the music and the food and the just the people watching and World War II Museum and the fucking the Natchez, the paddle boat, and and just and I just love it. I love New Orleans anyway. They had a party atmosphere because it's New Orleans. I mean, come on now, right? But I still think Buffalo had it like for football. I'm not talking about in general, but for football, I really think Buffalo kicked the shit out of New Orleans. So I haven't been to Kansas City, I haven't been to Green Bay, so I'd like to go there and see how their how their digs are, but I'm sorry, but I think Buffalo is probably Buffalo, Green Bay, and Kansas City have to be the tr the holy trinity when it comes to tailgating. Um they have a fucking uh a fucking folding table in the stadium, like hey everybody. And they have they have the fucking cups, you know, the solo cups with the beer, the ping-pong balls. Like, you're fucking promoting what exactly what you're telling us we can't do in the parking lot. Like, go fuck your you get off your fucking again, typical fucking New York State bullshit. You know, don't do that, but then they do it and they have that, you know, as long as we can make you shouldn't do drugs, folks, but now that we can tax it, go ahead, do drugs. Go fuck yourself. You know, can't gamble. This is go gamble. Oh, wait a minute, we can get tax dollars out of it. Hey, gambling's good for everybody. Go fuck yourself. You know, let people if you're gonna let people do what they want to do, let them just do it. But no, you won't let it unless you get a fucking taste. So everybody, all these blue-haired, nose-ring fucking hook fucking motherfuckers go fuck themselves. But again, that's that's another story. Behind me in my seats is the Peace Bridge, which connects Buffalo to Fort Erie, Canada. From what I understand, 20% of our season ticket holders are from Southern Ontario. And as a general rule, I'm not a big fan of Canada in general, but I think it's more limited to Toronto and maybe Montreal a little bit because of hockey. But every Canadian that I've ever met, like one-on-one, like I talked about the CN guys from from the hotel days, they've been really cool. So it's not Canadian, the person that I can't stand. I think it's just can't Canada the the fucking country. But, anyways, 20% of our season ticket holds are apparently are Canadian. So that's that I like, and it actually looks kind of cool. It has like some of the lights that you see if you're actually driving by the peace bridge. So they did there was some good detail in that. Um seats again, beautiful. And um, I looked up and sure shit, it rained. And so if you our area is so wide, so if you're up on the fence, you are gonna get rained on. And I refuse to to go back, but we can go back. There is a spot, so for say my wife, if we we're going to the Detroit game, okay? So I would tell her if it's gonna rain, yeah, wear a rain jacket, right? Obviously, be prepared. But if it rains, go take the chair and bring it back or stand in the back, you'll still seal the see the field. Now you're kind of covered, and so there won't be any issue. For me, I won't do that unless it's probably 33 degrees. I don't like the rain in 33, but when it's 78 degrees and it's raining, let it rain. It felt good, I must admit. It felt good. And there were fans out there that were just relaxing. Everybody came running, running up to the fucking concours, like it's gonna kill you. Give me a break. Anywho, so that's my seats. So after the game, then people are posting pictures from various angles and various different sections, and um people in the corners and the upper deck end zones, like straight up end zones, like you're looking down the field, like behind the goal line, behind the goalposts. Some of those seats, not all, some of those seats are fucked up. So there are some seats that have an impeded view of the field. Now, mind you, Rich Stadium or Ralph Wilson's stadium, or for the fuck cards that called that high mark stadium, that's that old stadium that was 53 years old, that everybody said was outdated and didn't have the bells and the whistles, and yes, it had shitty sound, yes, it had shitty cell service, but there was not a shitty view in the stadium. There's 40 rows in the upper deck at the old stadium. You could be, and I have been, I have been in my life, you could be row fucking 40 in the corner and still see every component of that stadium, and in all honesty, it's not a bad seat. All right, you want to get a little closer. So if you're in like the top 20 rows of the upper deck, I think that's a good seat. And the closer you are to obviously center, uh, you know, 50-yard line, it's even a better seat. But it's still, you don't have any fucking thing that's impeding your view of the field. How do you build a fucking stadium in 2026 and have seats that can't see the whole field? That is fucking horseshit. That's bullshit. And then you're gonna charge somebody a fucking seat license for that? My lord, man, you guys are fucking stupid. And I blame the architects and I blame Pagula because he approved it. And I don't give a shit. Well, we didn't really realize that. Fuck you, you didn't. Fuck you, you didn't. You definitely did. Then they have the Way and this is only in the end zones, mind you. They have a one where the sheets or the stairs go, they gravitate from both sides, they go up, and then you go all the way to the very top of like I is it for section 400. I don't know if there's a 500. I I don't know, but I would I'm gonna assume that 400 is the highest section. So you you go all the way up to 400, right? And you so you have to go up these stairs and then you go up the main stair to go to your designated seat and row. Well, if you're like on the ends of that of that section of those of that of that area, you have a glass partition that's kind of in your way. So, all right, well, it's glass, so you can see through it. Give me a fucking break, all right? A glass part you can now you have to watch the game through a glass partition. You have to watch when it's gonna rain. Wait, wait till it snows up. Are you gonna tell me that this glass is heated? So it's not gonna uh it's not gonna have ice or snow on it. So now you're now you have an impeded view of the stadium. And then even worse of all is people in Buffalo, like I said earlier, and I hope I said it, Buffalo averages over eight beers per person. And I would like to say, if I'm a betting man, and I am, I would bet to say that the percentage of people in the upper deck spend more money on beer than people in the lower section. Now, the people in the lower section probably, because now they have mixed drinks, they probably are doing drinking and the the morons or the the the hootie-toots and the sweets and all that that pay $25,000, all the club sheets, they're gonna they're gonna have all the alcohol they want and all the beer they want. Whatever. That's on them. I don't I I don't care. But the fan fans, the ones in the and then to me, the real fans are in the upper deck, or a fan like me, and I I love the bills, but you know, we're in the lower bowl, and we're gonna buy beer. For me, I turn around and it's right there, right? It's easy sh measy. I am not complaining. But for those in the upper deck and those parts of the stadium, you're gonna have people walking up the stairs non-fucking stop. They're not they're not gonna, it's it's not like this saber games. You when if if you're in a Buffalo Saber game, you cannot go down the stairs until the whistle blows. I guarantee you that's not gonna happen here. If it did, maybe that'd make it a little bit better for the people, but I'm sure it's not gonna happen. I'm sure that's not gonna happen. So you have these people walking up the stairs nonstop, walking up and down the stairs nonstop. And if you're in that unfortunate seat, you're fucked. You are literally, you're gonna be watching people, you're gonna have to stand the whole game. You're gonna have to, and you're gonna have to hope that you're tall. You're gonna have to hope that you're fucking tall. And to me, that's some horseshit. On a brand new stadium built in 2026. Um, the internet was really good. The sound, now I sit on the visitor side. So in the old stadium, the sound the speakers were on my side, but they came from like I think a little higher so it would reverberate back from the Bill's side back to us. So it was always an echo, and it really was bad. It was kind of embarrassingly bad, I must admit. But but the sound here, now granted we didn't hear the ref yet, because there was no ref, but they played music and they had like two local morons like talking and doing like interviews on the side on the jumbotron, and and it sounded it sounded good. So I think they fixed the sound problem. I think they definitely fixed, hopefully, they definitely fixed the internet problem. And um, at least I know, at least I know for me, like they said, oh, there's gonna be a canopy, so people aren't gonna get rained on. Oh, hell yeah, you're gonna get rained on. There's no fucking way. I would say 80% of that stam, you're gonna get rained on. But if you're lucky to be at the very top rows of the lower bowl or the very, very top rows of the upper deck where there is a tiny canopy, you're probably safe. Other than that, you're getting rained on. And thankfully for us, if like that, and I'll say this for my my the people that I come that come with me, because I know I'm not gonna move. I just know I'm not gonna, I'll have a rain jacket on and all that good shit, but I know I'm not gonna move because I won't. But now I don't have to worry about people standing in front of me. And there was a dad and two kids sitting in front of me, and he was like, How are these seats? So I did not get a chance to introduce myself, Richie. Sorry, but I didn't meet them yet. But even with the dad standing, it wasn't even he was like like at my feet. So there's never gonna be a problem seeing over those people at all, unless some guy comes in who's eight feet fucking tall, probably. Um so what do I give the stadium? Well, I probably want to rate a bunch of things, and I haven't seen everything yet, and I know it was the first game, so maybe I don't I don't give it like a final score or a grade, but I will give it a lot of negative marks for those unfortunate souls that bought tickets in those bad seats because they probably didn't think they were bad seats. You know, Upper Deck and Buffalo was good seats. I to me and and my my sons who played football, I actually enjoyed watching that play unfold. You see what the linebackers and the and the and the DBs are doing, the receiver, the routes. Sometimes when you're really up close, you don't see it at that angle. It's kind of like if you play Madden, you can change the you know the the way the the point of view from the camera. And I do it not super high, but I do it like in the middle. I don't want to be like down on the fucking field. Yeah, it's cool when you can hear them yelling and shit like that, but I'm good. I'm good. So I'm not gonna give it a rating at my seat, my seats, even at the gold line, one year one yard line, perfect, perfect seats. Um perfect fucking seats. I must admit, perfect seats. But but for those unfortunate souls, I would be very, very upset. Hat didn't have any food. Rich uh Richie. Jerry went because they had these cups, and I saw them, they kind of look cool. I'm a sucker for like souvenir cups and mugs. Like whenever I go, I'll get that. I usually get pop, but Pepsi comes in a regular thing, but a mixed drink came in a Buffalo Bills cup. And so Jerry went and bought two Rum and Cokes, and it was astounding. I think they were $15 a piece for one shot in each one. I will never get them again. I won't ever get them, but like the fact that you can buy a mixed drink now and not sit in a suite is kind of cool for those people. But again, don't share drinks, but we're gonna get y'all liquored up and don't drive home drunk, but we're gonna get y'all liquored up, and we sell on average eight beers per person, but don't get all liquored up, you know, go fuck yourself, I mean it's like that. I don't know if you guys see in the video, and I'm gonna probably get off the pretty soon. But that that when uh that moron, that that clown with eight inches of of makeup on her face, our governor Hokel, who's from Hamburg, mind you, New York. Um, she's like, let's go buffalo, you know, and nobody cheered. First of all, all you had was a bunch of uh shith from around the state, politicians and business owners, so no, there's no real fans there at all. I mean, these are the type of people, and I'm sure every city has them, where like the the dad, it's not the the the the for me, there are girls that are super big fans, and that's awesome. That's totally awesome. But then you got people that are just fans because they're hot, like the bandwagon moms. And you know what, you get to make your hors d'oeuvres and make sure that the food is great and who's host a little party, and I love hosting parties, so it is what it is. But the dads out there, or the the men, the men, the men, and I got my Josh Allen jersey like everybody else does, um, and they tuck them in their fucking in their jeans. If I see somebody tucked in a jersey in their pants or shorts, I I really do. I laugh right in their fucking faces. I think it's a fucking joke. And I only wear one jersey. I do have a couple old ones, but as a father, like as I started learning and understanding more, and I never bought those, they were given to me like as gifts, so to speak. But the only Bills jersey I ever purchased, and I have two of them because it's it was one was getting a little frumpy, and no, I don't get them from China. I actually go to the Fanatics website because they're custom. But I would get them from China if if I guess I could order. I don't know if you can order custom jerseys, but when we were walking through, Jerry and I were walking through towards through the where the silver buffaloes were. I talked about it earlier. There was, I guess, like the ring of honor there. And there is only one guy that I sincerely think is valid. He it the stadium, Richie mentioned this on Voxer earlier this week, and I couldn't have agreed with him more. But the stadium should have been named after him. But there the one only guy that I is 61, number 61. I know it's a weird number. Um, and I'm not talking about kids, I'm talking about like this is me. This is I'm not talking about any fan. This is me, though. Because I've never seen anybody wear a Kelsu jersey ever. But Bob Kelsu, who played for the Buffalo Bills in 1968, he was a guard, all right, like a guard center. And he played for the Bills in '68 under contract. Now I have all the respect for um the guy from the Cardinals. You know, he did not sign and he could have. So he retired from football to join the military, went ranger, I believe, was killed in action. I have all the utmost respect for Pat Tillman. Have all the respect in the world for that man. Total hero, total like balls out fucking a man's man, right? But factual, the only NFL player to ever die while under con under contract with an NFL franchise is a man named Bob Kalstu. And he was from Oklahoma. I know that he's from Oklahoma, went to Oklahoma University of the Sooners, got drafted, played in, I think I know, it's 68. Then he ended up um because he was like a I think he was in like um the reserved officers, like a training, you know, like R O T C, right? And he entered the military, I believe he was like a lieutenant, and in 1970, he died. He was killed on a hill um by mortar fire. I mean, he was killed. So they put him okay. Now remember he died before Rich Stadium or you know, the new the old stadium was even uh opened. Rolf Wilson, again, the old owner for the Bills didn't give a fuck. Yeah, I don't I don't even know when he was put on the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame. I think it was I think it was I want to say it was like 2000 or 2003. I don't even know. But it was it was like 30 years after he passed away. And they they put him on the Bills Wall of Fame, and I might be able to find out the year he was, but um He was put on the Wall of Fame and Oh in 2000 He was put on the Wall in 2000 He was put on the Wall of Fame and now at this stadium they they're gonna do something different They're gonna do something because the whole thing was about OJ Simpson. Well OJ as a football player deserves to be there. I but again this is we're in New York. We're in New York. Peace and love, peace and love. Take the shot, even though it's fucking gonna kill your kids and all this other shit. But I I took the I took the shot so I can go to the Bills game. So I'm a hypocrite too. Took the shot, New York State, follow the science unless you're talking about females and males. Follow the science unless you're talking about females and males. But um Bob Kelsu died in two uh died in in 1970. Ralph uh Wilson owned the Bills then, opened up Brook Stadium in 1973, didn't even acknowledge the the sacrifice that he did until the year 2000, Bob Kelsu, and that is the jersey that I wear. And so when we went past those buffaloes, they had that ring of honor there. And so I went and I just touched like the placard because I out of respect, out of sincere respect for him. And now I'm getting like chastised and ridiculed by Jerry and Richie and Gregory, kinda. But whatever. Whatever, I don't care. But my my point is is that that man should have been it should have been Bob Casso Stadium, in my personal, in my personal belief. And I know they've never in a million years they would let Jim Kelly do it, even though the the the things that were hidden from the from the the public that he did to his wife and all these other fucking the all these guys were all scumbags. All these guys were scumbags, you know. Oh, but they're they're they they they brought us to the Super Bowl and they did this and they did that. Okay, whatever. You know, peace and love, peace and love. Take your shot. Oh, it's okay to smoke weed now and uh and gamble because we got our our taste of that tech dollar. But Bob Kelso, everybody, look into him. Google him, go to his wiki page, learn something. Pat Tillman, hero, minimum men. I'd want him in my I'd want him at watching my back every time, right? But Bob Kelso, again, what a guy that fucking put the country before his NFL career. And you could be like, well, he'd never would have been anything. You don't know shit. Just to make it to the NFL, just to be cut in in preseason, just how think how good you are. Just to make it to that fucking hell, to make it to Division I at any level, division one, BCS, non-BCS, division two, division three. How many how lucky is it just to be able to play college ball, let alone Pro Bow? So, like, don't tell me he didn't do shit. Mr. Fat ass sitting there playing Madden 18 hours a day. You know, I know ball. You don't know shit. So, um, yeah, what do I give the stadium stars-wise? I don't know. My seats, I give them high, I'm very happy. But the stadium in general, like you're a brand new stadium, and there's people that are really getting the shaft. So I can't give it high marks. I really I can't. It's it should be a holistic approach. What the whole stadium, and because of that, I I really maybe I don't say if I did it on a on a scale of one to ten, maybe a seven, a low seven, like seven point one, seven point two. If I'm doing the uh pizza review guy, you know what his name is. I mean, I I'm not as impressed. I'm not, I'm not. But I hope we have a good year. I'm sure it's gonna be another heartbreak year, and we're used to it. But um, I mean it's all good. It's all good. Uh, look forward to the season, looking forward to watching the opener with my wife and my son and my best friends and my brothers. I see my son Andrew and I are going to see the Bears in December. And my sister might be coming up with her son, and that would be amazing for all of us to go. I mean, I love all that, and I am never gonna abide. I'm never gonna abide by those fucking rules. Like, well, don't be sharing drinks in the parking lot. Go fuck yourself. Half the fucking people in there are policemen and cops, and they're doing the same fucking thing. There, nobody's gonna come over to me and tell me anything. And I'll take that gamble any day of the week. But peace and love. Peace and love. So that is it. I spoke for an hour. I hope you guys enjoyed it. I'm sorry for the um going off the hinges a little bit, but the Buffalo Bills are in our DNA and we're very passionate. And with that, have a great week, and I'll talk to you guys soon. Bye-bye.
