For those who weren't here last episode, let me give you the rundown. I really want to learn Hindi and Telugu to really understand the movies I'm watching, because most of the time the movies I watch aren't translated. So instead of me wondering what they're saying, I decided to just learn the languages and then expand my learning later. To give you a quick breakdown, Hindi mostly widely spoken language in India, mostly in the north, and it's the main language used in Bollywood of Hindi film industry based in Mumbai. And Telugu is a completely different language, mostly spoken in South India, and it is the language that Tollywood is based on, which Tollywood is located in Hyderabad. I really do want to learn Indian culture and two of India's languages. So one of the things I'm doing to help with that is labeling 20 spices that I use every day with Hindi on the front and English on the back. Once I get the hang of the Hindi words, I will have my family quiz me on it because I really do want to learn these spices and really have them memorized. Though right now Hindi is my main focus, I do want to expand to Telugu once I start to get the hang of Hindi more. And I'm already starting to recognize at least some of the Hindi words. Like I know namak is salt, and I can recognize it to the point where when I see a card for sea salt, I know the card has to do with salt, even if I don't know how to pronounce C yet. And even when I can't recognize the word fully, I can start to recognize the sounds in the word and I can start to kind of sound them out. And no, I still have a long way to go. This is where I am right now. So hope you guys enjoyed this segment. Bye. This week I released a third track of the Three Faces Demo Project Martyr, along with another behind-the-scenes interview detailing all the decisions I made.
