Stop hustling for your worth. This is John Merrill Kirkman with Walking with the Savior Podcast Daily episode. There's a simple story about a man who bought a diamond for a very high price based on its appraisal. But when he tried to resell it, no one was willing to pay anywhere close to what he had paid. Eventually, he had to settle for much less. The lesson is clear. Something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. Now think about that in a spiritual sense. What are you worth? The truth is your worth isn't determined by your achievements, your grades, your performance, your earning power, your total income, the size of your house, how many championships you've won, or how you compare it to others. Your worth has already been set by the highest price ever paid. Because of Jesus Christ, each of us has been quote unquote bought with a price. His atonement wasn't casual, it was infinite. That means your value is infinite. In the scriptures we read, remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God. Notice it doesn't say the worth of successful souls or perfect souls or high achieving souls or beautiful souls or tall souls or muscular souls, just souls, and that includes you. Right now, exactly where you are. Sometimes we get caught chasing achievement. We think if I just do more, accomplish more, become more, have more money, have more success, then I'll finally be enough. But constantly hustling for our worth doesn't increase it. It just wears us down. You don't earn your value, you live from it. When you understand that your worth is already secure in Christ, it changes everything. You can still work hard, set goals, and improve, but not to prove you matter, because you already do. So the invitation today is simple. Stop trying to earn what has already been given.
