Good morning, loved ones. Welcome back to another episode of All Things God. This is your host, John. Today we're going to talk dive into the prophets. There are tea teachers out there today that don't even use the Old Testament. That is something called antinomianism or replacement theology. That means that they reject all of the old covenant because they're they say that they're under the new covenant, except for tithing, of course. Everything got nailed to the cross with Jesus except for tithing. Hmm, sounds pretty picky to me. It's a little bit suspect, to say the least. Anyway, get away from that thing. That is not the church. The church is the body of Christ, the ecclesia. These people, these children of God, are not part of that thing. We cannot be. I don't bit anywhere. I've been kicked out of more churches than most people ever walk into. Get out of the church. Following your place at home. God will meet you there. I'm saying that as one of his sons, one of his apostles. I'm telling you, get out of the church. It's a dangerous place to be. Anyway, um, let's talk about the let's talk a little bit about the um the prophets. I met the prophet Elijah when I met Moses. I couldn't see Elijah at that time. I could just feel his presence. Like somebody had punched me in the stomach when Moses was standing right next to me. Somebody had punched me in the stomach and I could feel that the person I was talking to was Moses and that he had Elijah with him. I just couldn't see Elijah. I could see Moses. My gosh, he was seven feet tall. Of course I could see him. Looked like Gandalf the Gray. His beard was his hair was all the way down to his hips. His clothes were dragging the ground. I mean, it was amazing. It was an amazing thing. I met him a week after I met the Apostle Paul in my backyard. Anyway, um so I waited for the Lord to show me why I why I couldn't see Elijah. And it was about, I don't know, at least 15, 20 years later that I met Elijah again, and I understood why. It was because Elijah, Moses represented the Old Testament or the Old Covenant. When I met Paul, he represented the New Testament or the New Covenant. Elijah represented the prophets. In the prophets is the discipline of God and the judgment of God. That's why, that's why the foundation of the church is built on the apostles and prophets. The apostles have the revelation of Jesus Christ, and we we establish the foundation, but God uses justice and judgment to to establish that. So we can't move away from the prophets. It's not the New Testament prophets, it's the Old Testament prophets that are the foundation. You can't even imagine how how beautiful or well orchestrated God's judgment and justices uh are. There's almost it's almost indescribable. There's examples, I was just last night I was talking to the Lord and you know, I've read all the I've read all the prophets so many times, but Isaiah has always been my favorite, but I'm now leaning towards Jeremiah. Because everything that God is doing to the church or going to do to the church has first been done to Israel. No different. The two now, according to the book of Ephesians, are supposed to be one body. In the book of Ephesians, chapter two, we're meant to be called the one new man, which is the old covenant, Jews and the new covenant, Gentiles into one body. That bale was rent by Christ. Let's talk about the tithing issue again, just for a second. It's odd to me that all the feasts, the Sabbath, the commandments were all nailed to the cross with Jesus, but somehow tithing escaped the cross. Explain that to me. That's religion. They're religious. They use tithing and attendance to ease your burden, the burden that you're under from the condemnation from your soul. You can't erase your sin. You can't erase your guilt without coming face to face with Jesus Christ. There's no prayer that you can offer, there's no scripture you can read. The road to Romans is a popular one. Read this and you're in. You're in what? You're in trouble. That's where you're at. Don't you remember Jesus said to the Pharisees? You Pharisees travel far and wide just to find one proselyte, one person who will be your student. Then when you bring them back, you make them twice the son of the devil that you are. So the Pharisees were demon, were sons of the devil. And so the church is very much the exact same thing. You travel far and wide to make get one more person to come to your church, and then you make them twice the son of the devil you are. But I go to church, I'm not son of the devil. Yeah, if Jesus could call the Pharisees sons of the devil, I can call you sons of the devil. If you don't want to be, you don't have to be. You can come out from underneath that thing. Come out of the church and stop being a son of the devil. I'll make it very clear in the book of Revelation. Chapter 16 through 19. 16 and 17 is the great horror of Babylon. The great horror of Babylon is religion, not world religions like Buddhism and Confucianism and things like that. No. Judaism, Christianity, religion. Religion is the tree of knowledge. There were two trees in the garden in the book of Genesis. One was a tree of life, one was a tree of death, or a tree of knowledge. So when you eat from the tree of life, you inherit life. When you eat from the tree of knowledge, you inherit death. God said to Adam's son, the day you eat of that tree will surely be the day that you die. Why? Because you're no longer eating of the tree of life, you're eating of the tree of knowledge. And then, of course, Satan had some things to say to Eve about it. Oh, surely God wouldn't mind if you're just as smart as he is. It's not about being smart, it's about being alive and being dead. How smart are you if you're dead? What profit a man to gain the entire world but lose his own soul? We are made in the image of God. Jesus is the image of God. Says that in the book of Colossians, says it in Corinthians. He's the firstborn of all creation and the image of the unseen God. That's Colossians 1.15. It also says it in Corinthians. So here's the point. We're made in the image of Jesus. Jesus is the firstborn of all creation. And we're made in his image. We don't understand how our soul works, how our soul was attached to our body or to our spirit from the first day while we were in our mother's womb. That little zinc explosion that the um scientists are looking at, you know, oh, this must be it. The moment of conception. Or perhaps that's the moment that your soul was attached to your body. You know that God stitched us together in our mother's womb. And in order to rescue our soul out of that dead tomb that we were in, which was the flesh, the flesh is born dead. King David said in Psalm 51, In iniquity was I born, in sin did my mother conceive me. Since the day of Adam, our flesh was irreconcilable to God. Jesus said to the Father, I've saved all those that you gave to me, except for the Son of Perdition. Why? It's not Jews to scare it, it's your flesh. Your flesh is the one that's irreconcilable to God. It's going to die. When you die, your flesh is going to turn into minerals. From the dust is where it came, from the dust is where it's going. It's appointed under man to die. We don't have to die the second death, though, which is our soul. We don't have to die that death. That's what Jesus came to rescue us from. The second death. That's why I'm here trying to explain these things to you. Anyway, we're talking about. I'm probably going to have to do a different segment on the um the prophets. God is trying to save us from the second death, which is our soul. If our soul goes to hell, that's the second death. And it's completely unnecessary. We don't have to be there. Come out of there, my people. Come out of who? Come out of religion. Your flesh is antichrist. Everything about your flesh hates God. Everything about our flesh despises God. It's antichrist. But you're going to dance around an altar and throw money at it and think that God's just going to be like, well, that's okay. No. No, there's only one thing that can save us. That's to be washed in the blood of the Lamb. There's only one thing that saved the children of Israel. The night that death passed over Egypt. It was the blood of the Lamb. No sacrifice that you ever make will be good enough. It's not about sacrifice. Obedience is better than sacrifice. Lord, Lord, didn't we do all these great things in your name? Depart from me, you who work iniquity. That is Matthew chapter 7. So come out of the church. Go home, lay on your face before God. Tell him that you want to know him. Cry out to him. He'll meet you there. The word says, draw nigh unto me and I'll draw nigh unto you. Take him at his word. He he's he he's reliable. Take him at his word. Alright, tomorrow I'll do a segment on the on the prophets. Be well. Bye.
