The modern church is impotent because they don't know God. God on the other hand is omnipotent.

The Baptist teach that there are no modern apostles because apostles are taught by Jesus. Of course that definition is biblically incorrect  an apostle receives the revelation of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 16:18 and Matthew 11:27 and in Luke 24 the 2 disciples on their way to Emmaus were disciples not apostles.

Get out of the church they don't know God.

Welcome back to the All Things God series. This is John Open. Today's topic is the church. My God, where do I start? I will make this statement just to clarify. The church is impudent. God is omniscient. He's on he's um omnipotent, the church is impotent. That means all powerful and the church is has no power. Why is that? Last episode I explained to you that the foundation of the church is not the word of God but the revelation of Jesus Christ. That's the main reason. The second reason is this they no longer recognize apostles. I am an apostle. I did not appoint myself. It's not a position you can be, you can volunteer for. It's not something that you can claim. Well, there is a man like Gene O'Jannings claiming to be an apostle. He he doesn't even know God. So I won't hold it against him. One day he'll meet God and he'll go, oh boy. Anyway, the apostle Powell said it like this God has determined to make us apostles through the repuse of the world. And the word repuse in this context means garbage. We aren't the refuge of anything, we carry the revelation. The word of God says that the foundation of church is built upon the apostles and the prophets. Why? Because these two have the revelation of Jesus Christ. And so what the church believes that the last apostle was during the days of Jesus, because in order to be an apostle, you have to be an eyewitness of Jesus Christ. They don't know God. Don't listen to them. They the church does not know God. They are impudent. That means they are have no power, zero power. They have less than zero power. The church couldn't be any more wrong if they were trying to be wrong. They don't know God. And so you've got to stop listening to them, I'm telling you. The blind lead the blind, they both fall on it. So you're going to wind up in a ditch with them. They don't know God. Listen, let me make this clear. Apostles have one responsibility. We were appointed according to Ephesians 4. Let me read it to you. God is the one who appoints apostles. And he made that decision at the foundations of the world. That means seven, eight thousand years ago, when God was thinking of creation, that's when he chose the apostles. Every apostle is appointed by God. These self-proclaimed, listen, the African-American churches, they everything is about prestige. And so Gino Jennings, for example, he's a self-proclaimed apostle. He doesn't even know God yet. It's not condemnation. He may one day meet God. And I'm not condemning you. He's already condemned. He just doesn't know it. So here's the truth about apostles. Apostles received the revelation of Jesus Christ. Moses wrote the book of Genesis. How do you do that? He wasn't there when Adam and Eve were in the garden. He received it by revelation. Duh. I just told you yesterday that revelation is the foundation of the church. But they don't, the church doesn't recognize revelation. I told you about George Fox. 400 years ago, George Fox rebuked the church for not receiving a recognizing revelation. That was 400 years ago. Read it. It's George Fox. George Fox has a sermon, teachings on prophecy and revelation. Read it. Anyway, he started the Quaker movement and he received the revelation. That's why he knew. And I know because when I received the revelation, then I went looking for who understands this. What is this thing happening to me? And George Fox was the only one that I could relate to because he received the same revelation I did. Okay, so we're talking about the church. The church is impudent. That means ineffective, no power, zero power. They can name and claim whatever they want to. They don't know God. God is omnipotent. The church is impudent. Okay, God is omnipotent. That means He's all powerful. The church is impudent. That means they have no power. Okay. Here is the reason. The reason yesterday I told you that the foundation of the church is not the word of God. They've misunderstood the word of God. They've had it for 2,000 years. And so they've misunderstood that. They don't have the revelation of Jesus Christ. And so they can't know the truth. They're blind. So the foundation of the church is the revelation of Jesus Christ, as I explained to you in Matthew 11, 27 and Matthew 16, 18. So, first, no man knows the Father but the Son, and no man knows the Son but the Father and those to whom he reveals them. So I showed you in the Word, it says, you can't know the Father or the Son without revelation. You can't be sitting at a Billy Graham crusade and have somebody lead you through a prayer and say, okay, do you want Jesus as your personal Savior? This isn't grade school and we're passing notes to our girlfriend and say, Will you be my girlfriend? Check the box, yes or no. This is eternity. This is salvation. He is salvation. Jesus' name is salvation. I am what? I am. Moses said to him, Who do I said sent me? He said, I am. I am that I am. I am what? You are what? I am that I am. I am salvation. I am salvation. The word says salvation belongs to the Lord, and he will have mercy on those whom he will have mercy. Salvation is God's, it doesn't belong to the church. So the church thinks that apostles are people who are eyewitnesses of Jesus Christ. It's not, it's people who received the revelation of Jesus Christ. John wrote the book of Revelation, which is the revelation of Jesus Christ, is the title of the book, right? Did he how did he get that? Because he was an apostle. So I'm going to show you this is one of the key mistakes of the church. They don't recognize revelation or apostles. And I am an apostle, and I know because I was appointed by the Father and the Son. And it was when I received the revelation. So I know these things to be true. It's in Ephesians 4, 4.11. And it's also in 1 Corinthians. So I'm going to read to you what it says in 1 Corinthians. And the church rejects apostles. And this is what 1 Corinthians 12, 28 says. And God has set some of the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that, miracle workers, then those with gifts of healing, helpers, administrations, and those with diversity of tongues. So they ignore the word of God to their own peril. They don't know God. Stop listening to the church. They don't know God. The church is impudent. God is omnipotent. There's no connection between the two. Okay, while we're on this topic, okay, so they reject apostles and revelation. And so, of course, they don't know God because the foundation of the church is the revelation of Jesus Christ. And they just rejected revelation, so they don't know God. And I've told them so many times. I've been kicked out of more churches, more people will go into. Anyway, okay, so while we're on the subject of the church, okay, I'd like to add this. I saw this just last night on YouTube. There's a Bible teacher on there claiming that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word. That they have taught you that that is by reading your Bible. It didn't say faith comes by reading or faith comes by studying the word. It does not say that. It says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word. Okay, so what does that mean? Well, let me explain to you what it means. Faith comes by hearing, okay? I received- I had a conversion experience. I was converted from an unbeliever into a believer because I had an encounter with Jesus Christ, a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. I was born again. You must be born again. That's what God said. John 3 3 says, unless a man is born again, he can't even see the kingdom. So I was born again when I was born again. My conversion is the word of God, my testimony. I'm going to go out and I'm going to share my testimony. It's now the word of God. When we read the Gospel of John, it's his testimony. And it is the Word of God. Duh. And so faith comes by hearing. When I share my testimony with my mailman, my mailman, faith inside of him is activated, and he receives the testimony. Why? Because the word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword, cutting to the binding line of soul and spirit. His soul cannot reject my testimony. Once he hears the truth, it's activated inside of him, my mailman, or the guy at the grocery store, or my doctor, wherever I'm at. My testimony is the word of God. Faith comes by hearing. He just heard and he has faith now. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word. Where did the word come from? My testimony, my conversion testimony is the word of God. Do you see how they want you to study to show yourself approved unto God? Read your Bible every day and you'll get no further along than they are. That's not how it works. It does not say read and your faith will be increased. It does not say study your Bible and your faith will be increased. They don't know God. Stop listening to them. They don't know God. Stop listening to them. The church does not know God. Leave it. Go home and pray and ask God into your heart. Pray and have a conversation with God. He will show up. Listen to me. Revelation 3.20 says, Behold, I stand at the door and knock if any man be willing, and I and the Father will come in and have fellowship with them. Go home, get on your knees and reach out to God, see if he doesn't answer you. Do not go to church. Do not support that entire Oedipus. All they want is your money anyway. All right, so we talked about the church. We talked about the reason that they're off base. Here's the second reason: they love money. They love money. Jesus said it very clearly. You cannot love God and money. You can't do it. But the church loves money. It loves, it's one of the foundational principles of going to church, is tithing. You know, I talk to people all the time. I'm like, listen, you reject the beasts. God set up beasts, you reject them, you reject his commandments. It all got nailed to the cross. Why didn't tithing then get nailed to the cross? Well, because we need your money in order to keep the thing going. Stop supporting that thing. Stop, please stop supporting that thing. It's dead anyway. There's no life in it. Listen to me. In the book of John, it says, in him was life, in him was light, and that light is the life in men. That is Jesus Christ alone. Stop supporting the church. And the second thing is it's listen, it loves money, and the second thing is it's bound by religion. It's a yoke of bondage. The Lord said, My yoke is easy, my burden is light. Oh, you join the church. You can't go to the movie theater, you can't do this, you can't smoke, you can't drink, you can't do this, you can't do that, you can't do this, can't do that, can't do this, can't do that, can't do this. But don't obey the commandments. Can't do this, can't do that, can't do this, can't do this. Why? Because it's a yoke of bondage. That's all they have to offer people is bondage because they're in bondage. There is no life in the church. I'm gonna say this the last time. The church is impudent. God is omnipotent, but the church is impudent. Okay, that's the last time I'm gonna say, I'm sorry. Anyway, so this was my segment on the church. Uh they think Israel's blind, but my God, they are more blind than sacrifice. I but he didn't even talk about the difference between sacrifice and sanctuary. They're still dancing around the altar, throwing their um sacrifices at the great smoking mountain, trying to keep them from being angry at him. They don't know God. Jesus, the one who died for them, is the God of the Old Testament. And when you know that, then you know who the Son sets free is free indeed. I'm not in any bondage, not in any guilt, shame, or condemnation at all. But they're still trying to dress themselves up for him. Look at my pretty hat. Look at the way I'm dressed today. And and look, I didn't even do anything bad last night, Lord. So you've got to accept my sacrifice. Obedience is better than sacrifice. That's what the Word of God says. Obedience is better than sacrifice. But they're afraid of him. Well, fear is the beginning of wisdom, yeah. Well, did you ever read 1 John where it says there is no fear in love, dread does not exist. So when do you put that fear away? When do you grow into maturity in love? You're still ignorant, is what they are. They're ignorant, and I will try and be patient with them, as patient as I can be. Anyway, the church is impudent, God is omnipotent. I love you, be well. Bye.
