A bad tree cannot bear good fruit

The church cannot lead you to Christ they don't have Him. They offer only bondage to religion.

Good afternoon and welcome to another episode of All Things God. This is your host, John. Today we're going to talk about what it is to be converted. Um there's a verse in Luke chapter 22 where Jesus is talking to Peter and he says, I prayed for you though, Peter. Once you are converted, I want you to turn back and strengthen your brethren. A lot of uh this is misunderstood. My God, the entire Bible is misunderstood by these guys. It's as if they read it and then they just regurgitate dead information. To be converted, you have to be converted from an unbeliever into a believer, from death to life. That can only happen one way. You are filled with the Spirit, you've been born again. You have received the Spirit of his son. To be converted, you must be born again. This could not happen to the disciples until the Holy Spirit came. That's why it's at the end of the book of Luke when Jesus says it to Peter. They said, Oh, well, that means when when you're when you turn back after you rejected Christ three times. No, you don't even know God. Shut your mouth. You don't even know God. The word converted is very simply means converted from unbelief to belief, from death to life. Let the dead bury the dead. If you've not been born again, you're dead. If you raise your hand at a Billy Graham crusade, you want to ask Jesus into your heart? Raise your hand, you're dead. You're still dead. I'm sorry to tell you. But you, if I if we don't intervene now, you will die and that will be all that there is to it. You'll be dead for eternity. I'm trying to save your life. The church does not know God, get out of it, run as fast as you can. It is religion, and religion is the tree of knowledge. Get out of it. You need to be born again. This is how you're born again. The book of John. Very easy. John 16 7, Jesus said, It's in your best interest that I leave, that the Father may send another. John 16, 8. The Spirit will convict you of all your sin. When you're convicted, you confess or you deny it. That's the two options that you have. The Spirit of God convicts you of your sin, you either deny it or you confess it. That's your actions. John 1 13 says it's not by the will of man or by decision that children are born unto God. John 1, 12 and 13 says, to as many received and believed, gave you the power to become the sons of God. What does that mean? That means that when God by his spirit convicts you of your sin, you confess your sin, and he is faithful and just in forgiving you those sins, and your slate is clean, and you're born brand new. Now he has given you you receive this forgiveness and you believe it, and it gives you the power to become one of his children. That's exactly how it works. The church don't know God, get away from him. They got you raising your hand, you want to ask Jesus in your heart. Read the road to Romans and you're in. In what? In a mess. This whole, the whole, the entire church for the last 2,000 years should be burned to the ground. A bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Cut it down with an axe. Doesn't matter what denomination it is. I've sat through all of them. It's all religion. Revelation 18 says, Come out of her my people. Come out of who? Come out of religion. Leave the church, fall on your face before God at home. Get in your bedroom, fall on your face, and cry out to God. Save me, save my life. Save my life. It's that that's what you need to do. Reject religion. Come out of her my people. Revelation 18 4. Peter, none of the disciples were converted until the Spirit was given. That's why the Lord said, Don't leave the city until you until the Spirit's been brought in. Because they weren't converted. Jesus said it to Peter right to his face. When you are converted, even though he watched the disciples' feet and they had his teachings, they were not converted. What did they need? They needed forgiveness for their sins, for their flesh. They were born sinners. Even if they were good men, even if they knew how to walk by following Jesus, they still had to get rid of the flesh. Adam's sin was still on them. Adam's sin is not an attitude, it's the flesh. The flesh is the Antichrist. The flesh is the man of lawlessness, the son of perdition. And it's what's running the show there at the uh Sunday services. It isn't God, it isn't the Spirit of God. I was sitting in a service in Washington, D.C., in a prayer tent with youth with a mission. And there was um there was a young lady up on the stage getting ready to play her guitar. She looked like she was maybe 17 or 18 years old. And I said to her, The Spirit of God is about to fall on you. And she started crying and singing, Jesus is God, Jesus is God. She got the revelation that Jesus was God even before anybody around her did. And she was there as a student to learn from this youth with the mission. And then, I don't know, two, three days later I was sitting in another one of the services, and one of the leaders came over to me. I said, Listen, you don't even know God. He kicked me out of the tent. I think I care. I could have just washed the dust up and kept going. But then everybody that you interact with will be lost, not only you, but everybody that you interact with. It's like a plague. A bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Youth was a mission. You need to meet Jesus before you go trying to administer the gospel. George Fox said it this way 400 years ago. If you preach Christ before Christ has been revealed to you, then you preach Christ in error. You know the Bible, big deal. So does everybody else on the faith of this rock. They read their Bible and they regurgitate information, but they don't know what it means. It's not black and white. They don't know what it means. I'm telling you, I'm telling you the disciples were not even converted from unbelief to belief until the Holy Spirit came. And I'm telling you, you're dead in your sin if you raised your hand asking Jesus in your heart. You're dead in your sin. And so is the person who told you that. Come to the Lord, leave religion behind. That's my only message. Come to the Lord, leave religion behind. That's about it. Thank you. Have a good day.
