Good morning, loved ones. Welcome to another episode of All Things God. Just your host, John Hopeman. Um there's a couple things that we need to talk about. One is the Word of God, and the other is um our obedience. So we're let me go through the Word of God. Here's the problem with the church not having born-again experiences, including including the pastors and the people behind the pulpit. The word says this they overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony. So our testimony's got some weight, some value. Why? Because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word. Our conversion testimony is the word of God. And so the word of God is sharper than what? A two-edged sword. It's alive and active and energizing. And it's what allows us to overcome. So if we've not been born again, haven't had a born-again experience, we don't have a testimony. What testimony are you going to give somebody when you meet him? I just met a man who lost his daughter at the age of 24. She was an honor student in college. She lost her to bone cancer. What testimony can I give him? Come to my church. We've got a great music team. Come to my church. No thanks. That is there's no life in that. There's no life in that. My testimony is God has got me through everything that I've had to go through. God's not done you with me. That's why I'm still here. Your daughter was born without a lesson to learn. That's why God took her home early, 24 years old. Her soul is what God retrieved, not her body. God's not retrieving any of our bodies. God is not, he didn't hang on a cross for the flesh. The flesh is antichrist and going right back to the ground where it came from. People asking, is God going to let my pets go to heaven with me? No, he isn't, because your flesh ain't going to heaven. And you probably aren't either talking like that. Anyway, so the word of God is sharp, is alive and energizing, active, right? Sharper than a two-edged sword, dividing between soul and spirit. Why is that important? It's important because that's what it takes to separate our soul and our spirit so that we can be redeemed. That transition comes by your testimony. If you've had a born-again experience and you share that experience with the male man, the word goes to work. And it goes and it separates from soul and spirit. Right? That's what the word of God says. And so what happens then? Then the man can let his flesh go to the grave where it belongs. Least least a grain of wheat fall and die, it remains. What does that mean? It means your soul is attached to something that's going to die. It has to die in order for you to gain the next life. That thing that you're in has to die. Your soul has to be separated from it. Why? Because your soul is going to be living in eternity with God in a new body. So God's got to separate your soul from your spirit so that he can retrieve it. And he can let your body go right back to the ground where it came from. You ain't never heard this in a church service. Listen to me, God's word is alive and energizing. It allows us to overcome. They're overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. If you were sitting in church, raise your hand if you want to ask Jesus into your heart, you don't have salvation, brother and sister. You haven't met God yet. And probably the people that invited you to raise their hand haven't met him yet either. 400 years ago, George Fox said, If any man preach Christ before he's been revealed to him, he preaches Christ in error. What does that mean? What it means is in Matthew 11, Jesus said, Nobody knows the Father but the Son. And nobody knows the Son but the Father and those to whom he reveals them. So God has to reveal the Son to us. So then what happened in Matthew 16? The Father revealed the Son to Peter. Who do they say I am? Jesus asked. 16, 18, who do they say I am? All of his disciples were present. One said, Some say you're Elijah. Another one said, Some say you're John the Baptist. And another one said, Some say you're a prophet of old. He turned to Peter and said, But who do you say I am? And Peter said, You're the Messiah, you're the Son of God. And Jesus said to him, Flesh and blood didn't reveal that to you, Peter, my Father in heaven did. Why? Because we just read in chapter 11 that that's the only person who knows Jesus is the Father. So how did Jesus say that? Only the Father knows me, Peter. He just revealed me to you. And it's on that rock I will build my church. What rock? The revelation you just received, Peter, is the foundation of my church. And when you're born again, you receive that revelation. Every apostle has that revelation. The apostle John has the revelation. He received it on Patmos. Remember the book of Revelation is called The Revelation of Jesus Christ? Why do you call it that? Because that's what it is. John chapter 10. John got the revelation that Jesus was God from the seven thunders. I can tell you how I know that. I met the seven thunders. It's the Holy Spirit. And he gave me the same revelation. Jesus is God. Anyway, that's where we're at today. Be well. I love you.
