Welcome to Tough Love Wellness. I'm your host, Dominique Silvestri, and I'm here to cut through all the BS that the spiritual and wellness industries keep feeding us and give you the real truth about what it actually takes to heal your body, mind, and life. Hope you enjoy. Okay, hello you guys. Quick disclaimer before we jump into this very first episode of Tough Love Wellness. I originally had a different podcast name picked out, so I recorded my whole intro with that previous name, made my cover art, recorded this whole first episode with that name in mind. And I was set to launch last week, and then last minute I decided to change my name. So you're gonna hear me say a podcast name at the beginning of this first episode, and that is not the name of the podcast. I wasn't gonna go back and re-record the whole thing, and it sounds weird if I cut out the beginning part. So we're just gonna roll with it. So the name that you hear me say at the beginning of this first episode, just ignore that. This is Tough Love Wellness, and I'm so happy to have you here. Hello, you guys, and welcome to Not Another Wellness Podcast. I am so happy to have you here. I just started this podcast because I really wanted a place to just kind of yap about whatever comes to my mind. Of course, I do a lot of that on social media already, but you know, you can only you can really only do so much on social media. So my goal for this podcast is to provide a free resource to talk about all things neuroscience, intuition, self-image, healing the body, the energetic laws of the universe, and anything else that comes up along the way. So I'll definitely be sharing a lot more on here about my personal life and how I use these tools and practices in my everyday life compared to social media, where you know I'm often just making like a quick little teaching, coaching clip. This will be a lot more like implementation things and how I'm actually using these things in my life. So, yeah, I'll just get right into it. So, to kick off our first podcast, for anyone who might be totally new to hearing me or anything that I talk about, I want to get into two things. So, the first thing is my story and how I became an intuitive healer. So, how I overcame some health struggles and ultimately got to where I am today. And then, second, I'll just at the end give some of my most triggering takes because if you are new here and you know absolutely nothing about me or the work that I do, it's probably good for you to know these things because I do trigger people a lot. And you know, at the end you might either love me or hate me, or you might fall somewhere in between, and that is totally okay. But I just want to get that all out in the open so that you know what you're getting into by following me and listening to my podcast in the future. Okay, so to start with my story of how I became an intuitive healer. So several years ago, this started in 2021. I started spotting in between periods. And I was on birth control, which I had been on birth control since I was 15, because you know, I did the typical teenage thing. It was like I had some heavy periods, and the, you know, I told the doctor about it, and the doctor was like, Oh, let's just put you on some birth control. So, you know, I think a lot of people will resonate with that story, but I had been on birth control for a long time at this point. So 2021, I started when I was 15. So yeah, I had been on it for like nine years, math. I should not have been bleeding at all between periods because I was on birth control. And actually, this is funny because I just remembered this the other day, and I I just like completely blocked this out of my brain for so many years, and I totally forgot about this little tidbit. But every time, like during college, that I would start bleeding between periods while I was on birth control, I would just go to my doctor and be like, oh, I'm spotting in between periods, like I don't know what's going on. And she said, like, oh, sometimes your body just needs to be like it's been on the same birth control for so long that it got used to it, and now we just need to like change up the hormonal composition of it, or you know, I don't know. I don't really understand what she was saying, but basically I was I had tried every single birth control at every single throughout college, I tried every single birth control that is on the market. And I it's just funny to look back on that now that at the time it was like we would just change up my birth control, and then the problem would go away. And I'm like, oh my God. Now looking back, I'm like, this problem actually probably started when I was in college, and I just didn't realize that that's what was happening. So I think this this whole problem actually started before I even really realized it. So, anyways, so the new one would work for a couple of years, and then I would go and change it up. So I went to my doctor when this started happening in 2021, and I asked her to just change the dosage of what I was taking. And so she she changed me to a different birth control, but that didn't work. So the bleeding between periods just started getting worse and worse every single month, even though my tried and true method of just changing my, you know, dosage didn't, you know, it worked in the past, but did not work this time. So after that, I started to take the situation a little more seriously. I started booking diagnostic appointments with my doctor. At first, I saw just like my primary primary care and my OBGYN. And so they did, you know, the standard panel of tests that a doctor would do when you start telling them that you're having irregular periods, especially when you should not be having irregular periods because you're on birth control. So my blood work came back unremarkable, according according to this OBGYN doctor that I was seeing, which we'll come back to that momentarily, but my blood work came back like pretty much normal. So she started referring me to other doctors and booking me for different kinds of tests. So I had a uterine biopsy, an intravaginal ultrasound, which is yeah, just as fun as it sounds, another pap smear, and like way more extensive blood work. I was referred to a hormone doctor, what are they called? Like a endocrinologist, I think. Yeah, so I saw an endocrinologist to see if she could find anything, but she also said that my blood work was unremarkable. The endocrinologist, actually, she uh which just like looking back, of course, she had really good intentions, but I'm just like, what the fuck? Uh she thought that I could try going on metformin, which I'm pretty sure that's a diabetes prescription. So I don't know. I think that she was kind of thinking that maybe I had some sort of like invisible PCOS and like blood blood sugar problems, and that a diabetes medication might help, which like I'm glad that I did not end up just going on metformin to try it, but that was like the only thing that she could possibly think of could that could help because she thought maybe it was all secretly blood sugar related, even though none of my test results suggested this. Yeah, but I didn't want to just take a pharmaceutical without knowing for a fact that it was going to work. So during this time, I was also doing my own research on supplements and treatments, and I remember spending like $60 a month on one supplement called what was ovacitol, I think. It was like an an inocitol, I don't know if I'm pronouncing it correctly, but inocitol, inositol supplement, which is is like a more natural blood sugar PCOS support medication, just to see if something would work for me. I was spending, I mean, at this point I was spending like hundred dollars hundreds of dollars a month a month on supplements just to see if something would cure me. I was just like throwing shit out of wall, seeing if something would stick and just like magically be my Hail Mary. And I mean, which supplements are an excellent tool at helping the body to heal, but we have to make sure that the supplement is a match for helping that specific health struggle, because if we don't do that, then we're just wasting a shit ton of money out here and nobody wants that. But that's basically what I was doing at the time because I was not as connected to my intuition as I am now. So I was just trying a bunch of different supplements. So, anyways, kept doing all these extra diagnostic tests that my doctor had ordered, kept seeing, I don't know, random other, I think through through this time I probably saw like four or five different specialists. And when all of my tests ended up coming back negative, so this would be they tested for cancer, fibroid, fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS, early menopause, everything that you could possibly think of off the bat, I got tested for. Every single thing came back negative. So my OBGYN only had one suggestion for me to help manage symptoms. So not to cure what I was dealing with, of course, because unfortunately, that is just the way our medical system is set up right now. It's more so looking for managing symptoms, ways to manage symptoms with medications and treatments rather than getting to the root of the problem and healing it. But that's a whole that's a whole other rabbit hole, a different conversation for a different day. So she only had one suggestion for me, and that was to double up on birth control. So I was already taking the pill throughout this whole time, and she wanted me to also get an IUD. Because if I was taking the pill and got an IUD, that should manage the bleeding. And I remember asking her once she told me this, I'm like, okay, but then like I'm thinking long-term here. I'm like, what do I do when I eventually do want to have a kid? Like, that doesn't sound healthy. And I just remember crying, like as soon as she, as soon as she said, like, I'll have to see a fertility doctor, which, you know, there's nothing wrong with that inherently, but no 22-year-old wants to be, or I guess I was 24, 25 at the time. Nobody in their 20s wants to be told that you are just going to have a hard time with something that's like so personal to a lot of women. So when she told me, well, you'll probably have to see a fertility doctor, I just immediately burst into tears. And yeah, that sucked. And and I knew that her, like what she was trying to tell me to do of like getting the IUD while taking the pill, like obviously I know that she meant well and she was just doing what she was trained to do. But it just didn't feel right. I I don't know, I was I was so desperate that I was like, okay, I will give it a shot, even though I knew that it did not feel right. So signed up to get an IED. Came back in a few weeks later for to get that like implanted. And the day I went in to get the IED, I'm so grateful looking back, I'm so grateful that this is what happened. My body basically rejected it. So I went in and they were like, they just told me to take some Advil before I went in. So I was like, okay, you know, and I had friends who had gotten IUDs and they were like, it's really not that bad. I don't know. You know, obviously everybody had like some variation of the story. Like some people said it hurt really bad, some people said it didn't, but ultimately they all really liked having an IUD. So I was like not super concerned going into it. I was like, oh, this will be a piece of cake, like I have a high pain tolerance, whatever, I'll be fine. So I'm in there and I'm like in the stirrups. And she again, uh the only thing like there was no, yeah, actually looking back, there was like no numbing or anything. She was just like, all right, we're going in. I was like, okay. I had only taken the only thing for pain that I had taken was just like an abvil an hour beforehand. So she tries to insert it, and apparently my cervix was just not moving. And like, I know this is a little TMI, but my cervix was apparently just not moving. And so she pulled it out, and I was like, wow, that like kind of hurt. And she she was like, Yeah, you know, your cervix is just really not moving. And I was like, is that weird? And she was like, No, it's not weird because you just haven't had a baby. So like this is totally normal. She's like, it might just take us a couple more tries. I was like, okay, great, let's let's do this. She went back in, and I it she was like tw I don't she was like twisting it around, trying to get it like situated, and I started seeing stars. I was in so much pain, I literally thought that I was about to black out. And then she pulls it out, and I was like, okay, I thought I was done. Like I thought it was in there, I was all good, like I'm ready to go. I'm like, wow, that fucking sucked. I didn't realize actually that I had like started crying, I had tears streaming down my face, and I didn't even realize because I like almost passed out basically from how much pain I was in. And she was like, so I couldn't get it. I want to try one more time. And I just I immediately was like, absolutely fucking not. I I, you know, didn't say it to her that way, but I was like, I'm sorry, I don't think I can handle this. Like, my body is clearly not okay with this happening because I was just in so much pain that I thought I was about to pass out. And it was like I had tears streaming down my face, and you know, she had to console me and everything. So that sucked at the time because then I was like, okay, my one treatment that a you know medical professional had recommended to me just didn't work, and that sucked. And then I was like bleeding for three days after that because it was just such a traumatic thing for my body, and my body just was rejecting it. So, anyways, did not end up getting the IUD. And not to mention, around the same time, I had kind of already been thinking for the last few weeks before my doctor had suggested this treatment plan, I had already been kind of intuitively feeling like I should not be on birth control anymore. I was thinking that I should probably stop taking birth control, because you know, at that time, also it was like all this new research was coming about saying if you're on birth control for more than 10 years, it's really bad for you. And I had been on it for nine years at that point, and I, you know, I was just feeling intuitively like it was probably time for me to get off of it. So once the thing with the IUD did not work out, and I was basically back at score one, I'm like, I don't even know what to do. I'm kind of losing faith in my doctors right now because I went to so many different professionals. Nobody knows what's wrong with me. Everybody says that everything looks normal, couldn't get the IUD, couldn't get the one thing that might manage my symptoms. So I was like, you know what? I'm just gonna cold turkey, quit birth control. I just like stopped taking it one day. And at that point, the bleeding only got worse. So I went from like spotting in between periods, it like wasn't that bad. You know, maybe I needed to use a tampon for like two days in between my periods or whatever while I was on the pill. And then once I went off the pill, it became very clear that birth control was managing the symptoms because I started bleeding for I'm not even kidding, 25 days in a month. I could not tell if I was ovulating at all. I couldn't tell what was my actual period and what was just like this weird bleeding thing. I had no cycle. It was just like basically constant bleeding. So at that point, I was in a constant state of despair. I I have no better word for it other than despair. Like it was just so horrible. Like the weight of carrying that all the time, wondering when I'm gonna start bleeding again. Like, what is going on with my body? What is going to happen when I want to have kids one day? What the fuck is wrong with me? Why me? I felt like my body was broken. I didn't understand anything about like why this was happening to me of all people. I'm like, why me? Like, I'm a good person for the most part. Like, why the fuck would this happen to me? I hated that I was such a medical mystery and that doctors just like the people that we are supposed to trust with our health situations to get us better had no idea what was wrong with me. So I hated being a medical mystery and not having any answers. And every time this bleeding would start up again, I would just have a full crash out, like crying on the bathroom floor, sobbing, so upset. Just because I'm like, where is there an end in sight? There is no end in sight, but is there an end ever? Like, I just had nothing to go off of. And because of this, I turned into a bit of a hypochondriac. It was like a part of me intuitively knew that I would find a way out of this health situation that I was dealing with, but I just had no idea how to go about healing it. So I had major doubts, you know, had this fear that I would just be stuck this way forever, that I would never be able to have kids, and then I would just like wither away and shrivel up and die, you know, prematurely because, you know, your cycle dictates a lot of how the rest of your body functions and things like that. So lots of fear, lots of doubt, lots of despair. And I sat in this for a while, and then I eventually decided to see a holistic functional medicine doctor. And when I got blood work done with him, this was the first time that a single person, a single medical professional had acknowledged that something was wrong with me. And this made me feel so vindicated because my old doctors were like, Well, your test results are pretty much normal. So I don't know, I guess this is just how you are. Like, you know, everybody's cycle is different. But this guy, he was like, Well, you're a young, healthy, active person. So your blood work should be pristine. Your blood work should be stellar. And right now your doctors are telling you that your blood work is normal, but normal is should not be the scale that is applied to what you're dealing with. Because I was a young, healthy, active person. And I'm like, you know what? You're so right. So that was just such a huge relief that when he and when he ordered all the blood work that I had done in the past and he started looking at it, he was like, Yeah, technically you fall into the parameters of what is normal. But he's like, think about normal. Like the normal person nowadays is not optimal. Like they are not fully healthy. That unfortunately, that is a normal person. So he's like, it doesn't really make sense for you to use that same scale that everyone else uses because you are young, healthy, active, you eat healthy, you don't, you do a lot of activities, you're overall a healthy, happy person. Like you this should not, you shouldn't just be normal. You should be stellar. And so he, you know, him, him and I did some tests and things like that. And he had this theory that maybe all of this was a result of either an autoimmune condition or a food intolerance thing. So he ordered like a whole autoimmune panel, all of that came back pretty normal, like nothing suggested that I had any sort of autoimmune condition, which was a relief also, but then he did the food sensitivity test, and it came back saying that I had all sorts of minor food sensitivities, which really bummed me out because if you know me at all, food is one of my greatest joys in life. Like, I am such a foodie. I love all kinds of food. Like, uh, food makes me so fucking happy. And when it came back that I had all sorts of food sensitivities of things that I am eating pretty regularly, I was like, that really bummed me out because obviously my ultimate goal is to get to the root of my health problems and heal it from within and, you know, not have to deal with this again. And if I have to like go changing my whole diet, that just makes me so sad. But I'll do whatever I have to do. So I started cutting these things out, and there were a few things that had come back on this test. It was like, I don't know, certain certain types of grains that were just like very common in a lot of foods. Not that I, I mean, in general, I don't eat a whole lot of like grains, anyways, but at the time I was eating oatmeal a lot, like my overnight oats, and apparently I was sensitive to oats, so I had to stop eating my overnight oats. Apparently I was sensitive to eggs, and eggs are in fucking everything. And I eat like three eggs a day at home. Like that was that sucked. But the worst, the worst one was that it said I was sensitive to dairy. And guys, I eat like four servings of dairy a day. I fucking love dairy. So that was the hardest part, honestly, was that I had to try cutting out dairy. And what was actually hilarious, just like a side note, if anyone has ever gone from eating significant dairy in their day-to-day lives to having to cut it out cold turkey, I experienced like full-on withdrawals, like I was going through like a drug withdrawal or something. It was crazy. I was like so sweaty and shaky, and I like craved it all the time. And I had like a really bad rosacea flare-up. I got like rashes on my body, which now looking back like that, the skin issues and the withdrawal symptoms, that was like a whole other reflection in and of itself that I just like didn't deal with at the time. But anyways, cutting out dairy can be a very painful experience. So I would not recommend if you don't have to do that. So, anyways, I cut out all these foods. Basically, I was like miserable because I had to cut out so many foods that I loved. But doing this after doing this for like two months, nothing had changed. So it was like I was miserable because I wasn't eating the foods that I liked, and still I was dealing with these health struggles. So I'm like, okay, back at square one, cue the despair, fear, depression, whatever. Just like so upset. And then one day, randomly, I was like out on a walk in the sunshine, listening to a podcast. And the host of the podcast, which I had been listening to this girl for a while, and she didn't normally talk about like health things. I don't remember, I don't remember what it was she was exactly talking about, but she didn't normally talk about health things. And then one day she was like, Yeah, guys, I just had to give a public service announcement because I just found out that I have black mold poisoning. And something, when I heard that just it like randomly, something just clicked in my brain. And I just heard, you need to get tested for mold right fucking now. And of course, now I know that that was my higher self. That was my intuition, like guiding me on the right path. So my next appointment with my functional medicine doctor, after I had to tell him that like the food sensitivity thing didn't seem to be working out, I was like, I want to get tested for malt. And he was very encouraging. He, I really appreciate this doctor, but he told me, like, well, we can totally do that for you if that's what you feel like you need to be tested for. He's like, you know, you know your body better than anybody else. You he actually told me, like, that my intuition was what was guiding a lot of our journey, which is funny looking back, but he said those, he said that word for word when we found out that I did have mold. So he told me not to get my hopes up that because I did not exhibit the normal signs of mold poisoning, being like fatigue and weight gain, like I was actually withering away. I was losing weight at a rapid pace, but it was like all of the normal things that you think of when you think of mold poisoning, it's like that's not what I had. For me, it was very hormonal. So, anyways, we got tested for mold, and my results came back. Turns out I had three different types of toxic mold in my body. None of them were black mold, so that is something that's important to know for anybody who might be thinking that you should get tested for mold. There are actually so many different types of toxic mold out there, and we only hear about like black mold for the most part. So I had I had three different types, but the the one that was like highest levels in my body was an aflotoxin, which apparently you get from grains, which is funny because I had just cut them out. So aflotoxin, it is carcinogen, it's horrible for you. Yeah, so just public service announcement there that there are other ways to get mold other than just like breathing it in in a moldy apartment or something like that. Unfortunately, it can be transmitted through grains or mushrooms or cheeses or literally anything, really. So there's not like a one size fits all approach when it comes to mold. So just something to keep in mind if that's something that maybe you think you might be dealing with. But so when those results came back, and that was when he told me, like, wow, great job, like your intuition guided you here, and now we finally have something that we can work with. So I was so happy because I was like, I finally figured out what is wrong with me. I started detoxing the mold, and I think probably everybody's mold detox protocol is gonna be a little bit different. Unfortunately, there's no like magic, fortunately, fortunately and unfortunately, there's no like magic pill that you can just take to like detox it from your body. It takes a few months and very specific processes. Like I had to sauna four to five times a week. I had to take a bunch of binders to remove all the shit from my body. I had to take take a bunch of different supplements. So there's a whole protocol that you have to go through for like several months. For me, it probably took like eight or nine months to get it fully out of my body. But once I started doing this detox protocol, things started to get better. So I was like, oh my God, the bane of my existence is finally healed. Like I figured it out, it's all good. I'm removing the mold from my body, and then I'm gonna be, you know, optimal again. And then three, probably like three-ish months later, after I started this detox protocol, and I started doing so much better for those first few months. Probably after like three months of detoxing and things seeming to get better, things started to get worse again. So it was like the devastation all over again. Just crying on the bathroom floor every time I would start bleeding in between periods, not having any clue at what point in my cycle I'm at, because I just had no indication that I was ovulating or that I had an actual period, or like I just had no idea how to. I I basically was not having a cycle. I was just so out of whack. So that was really hard because I thought I was getting better, I was getting better, thought I was getting better, and then I wasn't. So, anyways, this and this is where it kind of gets more into the intuitive healing aspect. So then on another podcast, which it's just I love podcasts, I, you know, love to have something in my headphones when I'm walking around or whatever. I love podcasts, so it is just funny that so many podcasts have helped me get to where I am today. But after I was like dealing with this despair of, I guess, relapsing, I guess you could say, it seems like my symptoms were getting so much worse. Listening to this podcast, I heard a woman who is an intuitive healer. I heard her say on this podcast, and she was just like the guest of the podcast, she said that every single thing that goes on with the physical body starts off with an energetic root cause. And when I heard her say that, I was like, holy shit, she's right. And I'm like, I don't know how I know that she's right, but I know that what she just said is right, and I felt like she was talking to me, and I was supposed to hear that. And what's funny is now I now that I have trained my intuition and have learned a lot of things about intuition, and when you hear something that you just like you can't really understand why you know that it's the truth, you just know that it's the truth. I've learned that turns out that that means you actually mastered that topic in another life, so in a past life, and you're just starting to remember it in this life, so that's pretty cool. So when I heard her say that, I just knew that she was right. And I'm like, I don't know how to explain it. I just I fucking know that that is the truth. And so I immediately went to go book a session with her, and I did, and it was like the most eye-opening thing ever. And in the session, it was kind of funny. She was like, you know, you're pretty intuitive, also. And I was like, yeah, sure. Like, I don't know. I'm like, sometimes I just know things, but I I just I'm like, I can't do what you do though, because she was giving me like percentages on things and telling me exactly like what supplements will be most effective and what what energetic brain rewiring tools will be the most effective for healing my specific thing and what emotions and beliefs and limitations I was holding on to that created that thing. I'm like, I can't just do that though. And she was like, well, actually you can. She's like, nobody, you know, most of the time people don't just come out of the womb like knowing how to perfectly use their intuition. It does take training because intuition is basically just a part of our brain. It's like a muscle that we have to keep working. And once we work it in a certain way and learn how to do very specific things with it, then ultimately we can do anything. We can heal the body, we can create the life that we want, but that's a whole other tangent. And so, anyways, she told me that and I believed her, and I was like, huh, okay, well, that's pretty cool because I would love to. I at first I was just like, I would love to just be able to like heal my own body. Like, I just want to know because I had become such a hypochondriac after experiencing the medical trauma that I had experienced, I was like, oh, well, I would love to just like know that either something is actually wrong with my body and here's how I can fix it, or know that like the things that I'm worrying about that are keeping me up at night. Like one time I became such a hypochondriac that one time I literally convinced myself I had lymphoma, which I absolutely did not, but I like went to the doctor because I thought that I would whatever. And she was like, No, you don't have lymphoma. So, anyways, that's just like how bad it got based based on this whole health situation that I had. I just was gaslighting myself into believing that things were constantly wrong with my body. So, anyways, I ended up having her mentor me to learn how to heal my own body and like do things with my intuition. So that was my original goal, was just to like be okay with myself. So once I, with the help of my mentor, I was able to heal my body. So I was able to heal the bleeding issue that I had for like three or four years at that point, once I finally, finally got all the right tools and answers that I needed. So I experienced that for years, finally healed it by addressing the emotional root cause and finding the right energetic brain rewiring tools to heal it for good. And then I had her mentor me and started training me on how to use my intuition. And then eventually I got to a point where I was like, I am so passionate about this work because I see so many people, both in like on social media and like out in the world, but also just like people that I'm close to and people in my own life that are struggling with things related to their physical body. And we have so we have such grim expectations and outlooks when it comes to health, just based on our current society. Like I have a lot of friends who work in healthcare, and they have probably way more horror stories to tell me than they do good stories. And I'm, you know, I'm not saying that that's like them than like their lives, but I'm just saying that this is what we see when it comes to our healthcare system and the world and what we're meant to expect when it comes to our health. Because so many of us worry that we're gonna get something really detrimental, like develop some sort of disease or condition that is going to be detrimental to our lives, and we just uh think that we're kind of fucked if that happens. Like if somebody gets multiple sclerosis or cancer and they think it's a death sentence, and it just makes me so sad. And it's nobody's fault that this is the way society is. Well, there are people who like don't want us to be optimal, but that's again a whole other story, different conversation for a different day. But we uh are capable of healing, and this is what I once I started learning about this and like how the science behind it, because it is truly neuroscience, like our brain dictates the performance of the cells within our body. So this is kind of getting into my triggering takes, right? Because I understand that if I say, well, everything has an energetic root cause, if we subconsciously created something that we are dealing with in our physical body, then we also have the power to uncreate that and create something better. And I know that that is triggering to people. Like, and I understand where people are coming from. Because it sounds like if I were to just offhandedly say that to someone without explaining what is going on behind the scenes, it sounds like I'm undermining what people are experiencing or blaming and shaming them for creating whatever it is that they're experiencing. Because if I say you're, you know, you your brain creates your reality and your energy creates your reality, then you created that horrible health situation that you're dealing with. And that is not at all what I am saying. But again, this is why I'm like, disclaimer, I know that this is a triggering take because I don't want anyone to feel like I'm blaming or shaming, because we are all just doing the best we can with the information that we have and the circumstances that we are in. I do not blame myself or anybody else for the emotional imbalances that were keeping me in that horrible health situation that I experienced. And now I'm able to actually look back on that situation with so much gratitude because it got me to where I am today. So I am now that I have healed that, and it now that it forced me to, not that it forced me, but like I wouldn't have trained, I wouldn't have even thought to train my intuition and get into the kind of work that I'm into today if I had never dealt with that health situation. I would also not have found the limiting beliefs that I was holding on to. Basically, in a broad sense, the emotional root cause behind what I was dealing with was I was being so insanely fucking hard on myself in my ability to create the life that I desired. So, of course, there are, you know, more nuances and specificities than that, but just in a broad sense to give you an explanation, I was being so fucking hard on myself and my ability to create. I had so many doubts about myself and my abilities, and like just I was not connected to how valuable and special and unique I was. And therefore I was really, really beating myself up constantly. And it was primarily subconscious. Like I always knew that I was hard on myself, but this was primarily subconscious. And I wouldn't have, if I didn't experience that health situation, I wouldn't have been able to know, I wouldn't have known that I was holding on to those limiting beliefs and been able to rewire my brain to release them. And now, now that I have done that internal work of rewiring my brain, I am so much happier because I didn't even realize that that was a burden that I was carrying at the time. I am so much happier. I am so much more rooted to my own internal value. And now also I feel like I can go and create anything that I desire in this life. And having that true belief that I am capable of doing anything, I'm not saying I'm special here. Like I had to do a lot of work to get to that belief. So if I did it, anybody can do it. But now that I do have that belief that I can go out there and do literally any fucking thing that I want in this life, that makes me so fucking powerful. And that makes it true. Whatever you believe to be true is going to be true. So, anyways, that is my whole little triggering rant of how our thoughts and beliefs do create our reality and they do create the way our the cells in our body are performing. But but if I did all that work and now I am so much happier and healthier as a result, you can do it too. Because if you had the power to create that situation, then you also have the power to uncreate it and create something better. So now that we're done with my little triggering rant, just to wrap things up here, just to talk a little bit more about intuition. So when another thing that I was so grateful for this experience for is the fact that it guided me to training my intuition. And now I truly am on my soul pull because I get to help other people heal their bodies and up level their lives in ways that I had previously never thought possible. And looking back, it's like I always had intuition. So, for example, like going off of birth control, that was an intuitive decision. Finding that holistic doctor, I intuitively selected the right holistic doctor for me that was going to help me get the answers that I needed when it came to mold poisoning. Getting tested for mold, that was my intuition. Seeing the intuitive healer, that was also my intuition. I just didn't know that that's what it was, and I didn't know how to understand it so clearly. So now it's like looking back on my life, I can see how many times I had been using intuition without even realizing it. Like sometimes I would just randomly know things. When I was maybe seven, I don't know, six or seven years old, maybe. My cousins grew up like two towns over from me. And so I used to get to see them all the time and you know, loved hanging out with them and growing up with them and everything. And I remember one day my dad like came and told me that they were moving, and he knew that I was gonna be really sad because they were moving across the country because I had to like say goodbye to my close friends, basically cousins. And he came and told me that they were moving, and I was like, I know. And I was like, I looking back, I'm like, I don't know how I knew, but somehow I knew that they were moving. Like I already knew that before he was even gonna tell me. Also, when I in when I was in eighth grade for like over a year, I was super anxious and stressed for like no reason at all. I had really weird, crazy intrusive thoughts that I knew. Well, now I know that they were not my own, but I I just, I don't know, I just felt like the weight of the world on my shoulders at all times. And I was like 12 or 13 years old. Like there, I had nothing to be like upset about or stressed about. Like my life was so fun and easy as a kid. Like I am very grateful I did have an excellent childhood. So I'm like, why did I at the time I was like, I don't know why I just feel so like heavy and like weighed down all the time. And now, of course, looking back intuitively on that situation, I realized I was actually just hearing the thoughts of every single other person around me constantly all the time. So that was very overwhelming. So I eventually had to just learn how to like block that out. And then, you know, a couple of years ago, when I started intentionally training my intuition with my mentor, I had to break down that barrier again because basically, once I had experienced that in eighth grade, where I was very overwhelmed all the time, I just developed a really strong natural barrier to anything that I, anything that wasn't my own, I just kind of shoved everything out of my brain. And once I started working with my mentor, I had to basically break that barrier down again because I was, you know, I had, I didn't realize that's what I was doing at the time, but that was what I was using as my protection mechanism back when I was in eighth grade and dealing with that. So now that I have been training my intuition for several, well, now that I have been training my intuition for several years and, you know, I'm constantly learning new things and working on new things to uplevel my skills every single day, it's important to know that intuition is only as good as the questions that you ask. So even though I was at a point when I was a kid that I would just like randomly know things, the reason I like didn't think that I could do the things that I'm doing today when I saw my intuitive healer was because I just didn't know. I didn't know that intuition is only as good as the questions you ask. I didn't know there were different fields to read from. And now I have learned so much and I hope to never stop learning. Like that is one of my goals in life is to just always be getting better, always be improving on the things that I already do, and become a better version of myself and always be training my intuition to be as accurate and precise as possible. So now I'm here as the happiest, healthiest, hottest version of myself that I have ever been. And I love helping other women become the happiest, healthiest, hottest version of versions of themselves as well. And I am so grateful that I dealt with that health health situation and all the despair that I had to go through for that large portion of my 20s because it got me to where I am now. And I wouldn't be able to have my business or help other people with what my soul came here to do if I didn't experience all of that. So now, whenever I have a body reflection come up, I just intuitively look into it and shift it. And that is all I've got for you today, you guys. Like that is my story, and I am so happy. Thank you so much for tuning in today. This is our first of many episodes. I'm hoping to start doing these maybe like three times a month. So definitely stay tuned because more will be coming.
