Good morning. Hello. Hello, everyone. How are you today? Happy Saturday. It is another Saturday, another time for us to get together and let's talk. Amen. For those of you that are coming in, say hello to me. Now I'm going to use my phone to get the word out. I want you to do the same. Let everyone know we're here today, right? I am always Okay, this time we can hear me. Because last time I had some technical difficulties with my sound. So if you don't mind, I always do that just to make sure I can be heard. But um, we are live and I am excited. So come on in. Amen. Amen. Let me get this shared out. Uh Paige. Let's see. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for joining me today. Um, if and I am going to um be on really quick today. I am traveling today, so I only got a small window to be here with you and a lot to kind of go through. But I just want to just first and foremost say thank you for those who join me every week, either here live on Facebook or YouTube, or you catch a replay, or you even um react to some of the short snippets, the reels that I put out there. Thank you for allowing me to um sit with you because I know we all have hectic schedules, and there is always somewhere else you can be, but you take time out to be with me. So I just want to say thank you for that. Um, for those that you are catching me and this is your first time, how you doing? My name is Val Mitchell, and we are here on what I love to call let's talk. But I got some things that are changing that is coming, and I want to let you know. So stay till the end, because I'm gonna announce it at the end. We even released the audio version. Hello, my sisters. Thank you so much for joining. I appreciate you and love you so much. But I want to so this week, we're just gonna have transparent conversation. I don't have a set agenda set up. I did receive a word that I am going to share with you today. But let's be honest, sometimes we have weeks where when Saturday comes, it's like, I mean, I had to really just sit and breathe in the fresh air of Saturday because Monday through Friday was off the chains. It was crazy, it was hectic. And when I have these kind of moments, my go-to is coffee. See, I got it steaming right now. I don't know if you can see that steam of my coffee, but that's where I go just to sit back, reflect, and just try to catch my breath. This week has been one of those weeks, amen. It was pretty much break yourself free from exhaustion and learn to trust God. And I'm like, okay, if I release this book and now I'm experiencing straight up exhaustion, straight up anxiety. Okay, Val, what did you tell everyone that you need to follow yourself? Amen. Amen. So I had a moment and I actually I seriously went through the steps that we talked about the several weeks ago about the different types of anxieties, exhaustions that we go through. And I did those myself, and it's pretty much stepping back, going to God, praying. And if your week was like my week this week, I couldn't even really pray. It was just more of just sitting where I know me and him meet on a regular basis, and that's my prayer closet. Going in, turning on some worship music, turn my candles on, sit and just be in his presence. And every time it never fails. I came out with enough strength, enough wisdom, because I had one day, guys, I had so much coming at me. I really could not prioritize or sit and think where what to do next. What's hot? Nothing. Because I had this coming, this coming, this coming, this coming, this coming. I sat back and said, I don't even know what to do. It's just so much coming at me. That's how crazy this week was. So to get through that, I said, okay, what did I what did I talk about in one of my in one of my um topics? What did I talk about? Because this is a good example. I'm experiencing what I'm talking about. So I went, I went to a good friend. And sometimes when we get in an exhaustive state where we can't pray, we need to go to someone who we know can hit God, that can reach God, and pray on your behalf. So I went to a very good friend, my sister, my BFF. And it's always good when you know godly women or godly men, because God has already prepared them for what you need in that moment. So she already knew to have her anointed coffee. I call her coffee anointed because it's that good. And we just sat and laughed, got my mind off of things. Um, she said a quick prayer, nothing special, but just that moment, that breakaway, allowed me to step back and the Holy Spirit helped me prioritize what I needed. I had to sit and I literally went through all my emails. Oh my gosh. That was up to like two in the morning. But I went through every single thing so I can identify what was needed now and what was needed later, and get myself prepared for a busy, busy um meeting I had the next day. And I said, thank you, God. I really did, because it I don't come on, I don't do things to just sell a book. Because honestly, you don't make you don't make a lot of money from books. It's it's to give the word that has allowed me to walk out my journey, it is to share what I go through and how I get out of it. And one thing that we get as Christians, especially new Christians, that they don't tell you is that when you are saved and when you come into the kingdom, you still go through some times. Life still be life. I mean as is probably like many others that when you walk this journey, you you automatically assume I'm pulled out of it because I'm not in the world, I'm of the world, right? And that I won't have to experience what my neighbor who didn't decide to get saved yet, what they have to experience, because I'm with God, I'm with Jesus, I'm rocking every Sunday. I get motivated when I come out of church, amen. I don't need to go through that. Oh, I am hot. Let me turn the fan on because I'm trying to play it off, but it's hot. Hold on a second. It might be my coffee. Thanks for that. I had to turn that fan on. It is hot. So, anyhow, as a new Christian, you know, we're not told, hey, you're still going to go through challenges. Jesus, even when he went through his ministry, he still went through challenges. But one thing that has always kept my faith through my journey. And um, I'm trying to think of the story, and I apologize because I can't quote it word for word, but it's pretty much where a house is built on a strong foundation, a rock. And no matter if the winds come, if the rains come, if the storms come, because of that foundation he's sitting on, he's gonna stand versus the house that is built off of sand. And when the winds come and the rains come and the storms come, that house falls down. So in this life, in this Christian walk, always remember because Jesus is our cornerstone, he's our rock, he's our foundation, he is what we sit on. And when we go through the same type of trials and tribulations that others go through in life, we're not excluded. We are going to get hit, we're gonna be tested, but it's always good to lean on that foundation, to lean on that rock and knowing because of the strength of that rock, you will not fall. You may stumble, we're not perfect, believe me. I have stumbled. I've just I stumbled just last week. Jesus, but a righteous man falls down seven times. But what makes him righteous? It's because he gets back up, he repents, and he tries it again. So this week, I have a just a brief testimony I want to share. But before I do that, because I tell you, I was literally going to cancel not getting on today. One, because I had no time to sit with God and really go through what to talk about today. I had no time because when I finally was able to take a breath, my I was so mentally drained that I just went to sleep. Um, one, my same sister um is moving, and you know, she gave me one of her chairs. I can't wait to use it because I have to tell you that story in a minute. But I tell you, just like her coffee is anointed, her chair is anointed. Everything in that house to me is anointed. I sat in that chair, brought it home, got it in the house, sat in that chair, and I could not move. I literally felt the peace of God and I could not move. That's the kind of week I had. And so um, I woke, went to bed last night, and I prayed. I said, Lord, I need to cancel Saturday. But that's I'm gonna get up and pray and I'm gonna ask God to give me what he wants to come forth, or I'll just pop on for 10 minutes, say, Hey, love you, give you my big announcement. I got a big announcement, guys, and then just go because I do really have to leave today. But he gave me a word to share, and so I want to read what I heard this morning in prayer, and that's why I titled this topic today saying believing in God, believing in God, amen. So when I pray, I always sit in a posture to hear. Um, many of us, when we go in into prayer, we go in with a petition and we go in and telling God, this is what I want, this is what I want, this is what I want. And God says, Come to me and bring me your cast, your cares, you know. So I'm not saying anything is wrong with that because we all have things on our list that we are believing God for, and we're asking for God for those in prayer. But what I encourage you to do is don't get up from that prayer seat until you receive from God. Just think about it as a two-way conversation. When you're talking to someone, not only do you want to release what you have in that conversation, but we have to be mindful that that person has something they want to share with you as well. And it's the same way in prayer. When we go in God and hear in prayer, it's to it's a communication back and forth. So always posture yourself to receive. Because when God speaks, he's got plenty once to tell you. And sometimes we don't even give him the time to say, but we'll walk out and say, I didn't hear a word, I didn't get this, I didn't get that. Did you sit and allow him to speak? He speaks in many ways. You may not hear an audible voice, it may be a stirring in your spirit, it may just be guiding your steps to a particular passage in the Bible. He speaks so much through his word. It may be however he wants to be. So don't limit him, don't put him in a box, just sit in a posture and say, as Samuel said as a youth, and the Lord call his name. He said, Yes, Lord, speak, Lord. Your servant is listening. So I encourage you with that. Okay. So as I was reading, as I was sitting, I'm gonna just read word for word what I heard because it blessed me, but then I realized it was not just for me, it was also for those that needed to hear from God today. Amen. Amen. So I heard uh soar unto new heights, see above the clouds, go above your thoughts and see unto mine. For my vision I sent to you shall manifest in due time. Never quit nor stumble, instead press towards the mark laid at hand. For I am the kingdom of God that knows you by name. Joseph, the prince of Egypt, never knew how to become until he became. Oh my gosh, that's so powerful. I don't ask you to step without showing you how. Trust in me. Learn not to lean not to your own understanding, but believe that I can do what I said I will do for you. What are you waiting for? Why do you not fully believe that the God of Abraham is the God of everything? No more the concern, no matter the fear, excuse me, no matter the concern, no matter the fear. When you're with me, nothing is impossible for those who believe. Love on me today. That's all I ask. For it will be worth the wait. But you must choose to believe. For the God so loved the world that he gave his only, yes, only son, who too walked this thing called life. So he too knows what you go through. Suffer no more in silence. Allow me to pave the way. These steps may appear weary, but never forget who's leading the way. So he asked me to stop. And so I'm gonna pause what I'm reading and let's do just a quick exercise. And I think I'm gonna join you with this as well. God says, close your eyes. If you're driving, don't close them, but just let's try them out and see what he's saying. So close your eyes. Give me two minutes. And he says, Imagine with me. Now with your eyes closed, ask yourself, what if I do see victory over this? What would I see? What is it you're going through? What is it that's troubling you this week, today? What is it? God says, close your eyes and imagine that right there, what you're going through. What if you saw as victory? What would you see? How would it outcome? I think so many of us when we go through what we go through, we instantly turn to the what ifs from a negative standpoint. What if this crashes? What if this goes away? What if this doesn't happen? What if I don't get what I need? What if, what if, what if? God is asking us to flip it. Take that same issue that you're dealing with, but imagine it on the victory side. Imagine what if they actually do come? What if I am a best-selling author? What if the people that are stressing me out at work, they actually go to someone else? What if I can walk in my job and have a peaceful atmosphere, be able to sit and be very productive? What is your thing that's bothering you? What if me and my son don't argue anymore, but instead come together and actually have a good conversation? What if my children came to me today and said, I seen God, I experienced God on another level? What if? What if is that victory on that other side? Amen. So I'm gonna go back to reading. Now focus on that victory outcome. And then come pray to me. Jesus, that got me today. God said, come pray to him with what you are imagining and seeing from a victory standpoint. I'm gonna keep reading because like I said, I gotta go soon. Pray from a winning seat. Pray as if you do believe. Pray that the same God who did it for another person that you saw win is the same God that will do it for me. Me and my my prayer group this week, we've been saying all week from what we've learned from Pastor John Hammond. Same God, the same God that did it for them is the same God that will do it for me. Amen. All right, I'm almost done. In this season, it's not going to always look how you thought it will be, but you have, but you will have. Let me let me um okay, let me start over. In this season, it's not going to always look how you thought it will be, but have you soon? Forgotten that I am also the God of will be. So I already knew what would come, and I still know what shall be. I will do my part. I need you to believe, obey the Father, and Father in Heaven, and always come to me. Don't leave my side when the going gets tough, but be with me. So when I was going through this week, um that day I told you I went to my girlfriend's house and the Lord came back. That's right, Tyreek. Same God. And the Lord came and helped me prioritize. I went through all those emails. I started going through, okay, here's the things that got to get done. Was able to knock some of those out. Here are the things that are coming up that are stirring that you need to keep your eye on. And oh, by the way, just delegate the rest of this. I went through all of that and went through by the end of the bed, it was like almost two in the morning. Mind you had to get up the next day. And I was just so grateful to God that my brain was just scattered that morning. It was literally scattered throughout the day. But by two o'clock the next morning, I had a focus. I was able to breathe, and I knew what to walk into the next day. With me, which is not good, but God knows what I do. So I guess it is good. I picked up my phone, two in the morning, knowing I need to go to bed, and I just start scrolling. I mean, we all do that, right? We get on Facebook, we get on TikTok, and I just say it's just a it's just a mental thing sometimes, unless you see something that captures your eye. So, anyhow, I stumbled on a reel. And with the reel, it was the bride and the groom about to get married. And as many of many, many of us, I shouldn't say no, but customary, let me say that, that the bride and the groom should not see each other before the wedding ceremony, because many believe it's bad luck. So, in this reel, it was the groom to be wanting to see the bride. So the wall, it was a wall that separated, like this part. See my wall here. So he was standing on one side of the wall, and what was so profound was on the other side of the wall, looks like a kitchen or something like that. The bridesmaids, you know, the bridesmaids protective of that bride. You can't, don't you look at her. We're going to get her, but you can't see her and this and that. He like, I'm not gonna look at her. So what he did is he stood positioned on this side of the wall, but he reached his hand back, waiting for her to grab his hand. So he knew she was coming. He knew that the bridesmaids were going to get her, and so he had his hand, he just stood there patiently with his hands out. So you saw the bridegrooms, bridesmaids come with the bride. Now she looked like she was a little down or whatever, but it's you know, there's a lot going on on the wedding day. They took her hand and they placed it in her, in his, and she stood on one side of the wall and he stood on the other, and they held hands. Um, when after they held hands, um, he, you know, squeezed her hand. He said, Hey, you good? You ready? You good, you ready? And she was like, Yes. And he was like, Um, you all right? She was like, Yes. He's like, You're nervous, aren't you? And she started to cry. And she said, Yes, I'm nervous. And he squeezed her hand tighter and he said, You know, I got you. You know I got you, right? And then she stopped crying. A little smile came on her face. She said, Yes, I know you got me, you got me. And then he said, I love you. She said, I love you, and then they left. When I tell you, because I'm always in the spiritual side, that one little reel spoke volumes to me, and not just from a marriage standpoint, or it was much deeper than that. Because I knew that was God speaking through that reel, especially the day I had and what I had to face the next day, because I had a big meeting coming up the next day. I was a little nervous about it. It was that much pressure on me to perform with excellence. I was nervous, so that on top of everything else I was going through, I think is what was stressing me and causing my anxiety. But what that revelation that came out of that simple reel, and I'm so mad I didn't say this, was to me, the man represented the father. We are the church, we are the bride of Christ, right? So that represented the father, and we know from what the word tells us we can't, in our natural bodies, look onto the father face to face. Moses showed us that when he was praying to God, show me a glory, show me a glory. And God said, I can't look at you because you'll die, but I'll turn my back and walk by and put you in a cleft rock so that way you can see the trim of my garment as I walk by. We know the story from Elijah when he was in the cave, when God went through and said, Where are you at, Elijah? What are you doing here? And as soon as Elijah felt the presence of the God, which many people kind of skip through when they're reading this, Elijah put his head down and turned to the side because he knew he could not look at God face to face. So that represented me that God was here positioning himself with his hand out, waiting for his daughter. Another thing I want to share is at the beginning of my week, I am in a prayer group. I prayed with a bunch of intercessors over a ministry that I'm a part of. And so we go in, we go into prayer targets over that ministry. But for that particular Saturday, the Lord put my name out of all people on three different intercessors. Each one called my name out in the spirit for protection, for coverage. Where at that time when they prayed, I was life was good, great, and I didn't really have any worries, but I knew enough that if three different women called my name out, something was to come. And so I was like, Lord, brace me for whatever I'm about to go through. So, anyhow, their prayers reminded me, they covered me for this week, they really kept me going this week. And watching that video, when the bride's maids went to go grab the bride, and the they brought her to the hand, they specifically grabbed her hand and gave it to him and walked away. God was showing me in that moment those prayers that were covered me from the week before led me to God when I needed him the most. That their prayers took my hand. Oh, Jesus. When I went over my girlfriend's house, and um all she did was make me some coffee, those moments were what God sent in advance what I was going through to take my hand and put it in the father's hand, oh Jesus, to give me to God, and the words that stuck through me from that simple reel, oh Lord Jesus when he held her hand. At first he said, Are you all right? You good, right? We got this. You ready? Then he said, he called out specifically what was going on with her. He said, You're nervous, ain't you? He dug into the root of what she was dealing with in that moment. It wasn't part of we don't know what kind of moment she was having, we don't know what made the man come down to check on his bride to be, that he stood there with his hand out in that position until she grabbed it, that he called out the root of the issue, and then from there he reminded her, I got you, I got you, though you may not see me right now because we both getting ready for this big day. Remember, I got you, I got you, Jesus that real lifted that weight off my shoulders. I mean, it lifts I felt so light. I curled up in my bed, whispered, God got me, and went straight to sleep. Jesus, life brings on so much sometimes. But when you go through life with God, yes, there are times that we walk it out and we just just try to survive, right? We try to go off our own strength, that God gotta send angels, send prayer coverage ahead of what you're about to go through because he knows you're about to go through it, and he knows what you're gonna face. And when you when it hits, he comes in, he deals with the root issue, and then he reminds you, you know, I got this, you know it just like what I read. I am the god of yesterday, today, and forevermore. So I already know what's coming at you tomorrow, and when your tomorrow comes, I'm still the God of the of tomorrow. So I still know what is coming to get you out of this morning in prayer, the prayer ministry we got through. Um, and she's on here, she read a powerful word, which I wanted to remind her. It it that touched me as well is that you got to keep pressing forward, you gotta keep pressing forward. We're told by Paul the apostle that says, you know, I press daily is good. Fight of the Lord, but the reason I am so in love with God is because when he sees you and he knows that you're going through, he sends in advance the coverage, the prayers that are going to be needed to get you through. But yet he's still watching, he's L Ri, he's still watching, and he said, Okay, I sent those prayers down, I sent that coverage. I see she got the strength to get through, but yet it's still on her, yet she's still dig, she she she got through, but she's still weary, so he came down, he came down, and he had prayer intercessors that he seeks to that took that woman's hand and placed it in his and reminded her, you know I got this, you know I got this, you already know. I was not planning on going here, Jesus. So when we did our exercise, if those of you are joining me late, catch, go back and watch it from the beginning. But um God told us to close our eyes and imagine with him. And he said, now ask yourself what if this thing that you're dealing with today, you're struggling with your battle. What if I see it from a victory standpoint? What if I imagine me seeing it from a winning seat? And then he said, take that prayer of sitting in a winning posture, seeing yourself at the victory side, and then pray that prayer, decree and declare, I am gonna sit in this victory seat because I have learned through my journey from many great men and women, God, that have told me if you can see it when you close your eyes, you will eventually see it manifest in the land of the living. Where's my coffee? I gotta drink some coffee. Oh, that was powerful. I am preaching to myself, I am ministering to myself at this moment. I needed that for me today. So finally, in closing, God said, What are you waiting on? What is it that he has asked you to do that you are fearful or nervous of doing? And he says, Launch it, launch it, literally, launch the business, launch the book, release those hard things to him and watch him work, watch him do it, watch him breathe on it, and when you do it, trust and believe. Don't look at it from our thoughts, soar. Imagine yourself being on that victory side. See above what you're seeing today, and remember his thoughts and not our thoughts. He's already into our tomorrow, he already knows where it's going to end. That's right, Ebony. Let's dream big. You already know. You already know what we're doing this week here. Amen. Jesus. All right, uh, so let me fix my face. I want to close just thanking you for that. I had no idea what we were doing today, but I hope that blessed you. If not, I was ministering to me. And Woo Side because I made it through the week. And I got my coffee here to keep me going. So I do have one announcement I want to make.
