Revelation 4 we see the ceremony of Jesus taking the covenant from the father!
Okay. In in the uh book of Revelation, what we see is that John is raptured in chapter four, verse one. It says that he's taken up to heaven. This is after we have already seen that the church uh period, which was chapters two and three, have already been exhausted. And then now John is raptured up into heaven, and uh he says he's immediately in the spirit, uh, and he will see the rest of what God wants him to know in the book of Revelation there from heaven, and uh and places as the angels take him to to get pieces of the revelation that God wants him to have. And uh but the first thing that the the church uh is confronted with after John describes in chapter five and four the uh uh what uh the the scene around the throne looks like. He you know, he describes the the creatures, he describes the uh God on the throne, he describes the twenty-four elders. After that, then we go into chapter five, and the first thing that the church is confronted with is the ceremony that opens the scroll, all right, that unleashes the players, if you will, and um all the the background and everything that's going to set up the tribulation period, which is the time of God's wrath. And um this is very important to see, is that notice it is the first thing that happens when the church gets to heaven. The church is is is Christ's body. We are the body of Christ on this earth, and it means that we carry the authority of Christ on this earth. We have that authority. That's why it was the church's job to go out and make disciples, you know, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, you know, uh healing and um and working miracles, signs, and wonders, because we were carrying the authority of Christ, just as if Christ was walking the face of this earth as he did uh in his ministry before he was crucified. And so uh the body of Christ now has to be in heaven for this ceremony to take place. Because what's going on in this ceremony? What happens is that there is a scroll in the right hand of God. It has seven seals around it. It is written all over. It's written inside this uh of the scroll, and it's written all over the outside. It's completely full. This shows a few things. It shows the completeness of God's wrath, which he calls it that, God's complete wrath uh and God's complete judgment. But it also shows, I believe, the two phases of God's wrath in uh in the tribulation period. The first part, the first three and a half years, are the trumpets. Uh that is where angels will take trumpets and blow a trumpet, and uh part of the judgment of God will be carried out. That takes place in the first three and a half years of the tribulation period. The second uh uh part of the tribulation period, the last three and a half years, which is called the Great Tribulation Period, uh that will be the bold judgments, and angels will carry out the bold judgments as they pour out the bowl, a um a judgment will be carried out. And um these are the complete wrath of God. Uh these are much more violent, these are much more uh uh these are much more powerful. It's it's it's it's it is. In fact, uh Jesus said that if uh the Son of Man doesn't return, that no flesh would be saved. A nuclear war will break out uh because of these bold judgments. So I believe that is another reason why that scroll is written on the inside and back and back because of those two phases of judgments that will take place. Um but here we see that uh immediately a very strong angel, an angel with a lot of authority, cries out, looking for someone to take that scroll out of God's hand. And we see in verse 4 of chapter 5 that no one is found, and so John begins to weep. John doesn't tell us why he weeps, uh, except for the fact that no one is found worthy to take the scroll out of his hand. But why is this such an emotional time for John? Well, uh then when the angel stops John from weeping and saying, The lamb, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the lamb that is slain before the throne, okay, he has purchased that right with his own blood and with his sacrifice. This is Jesus, the slain lamb. This this happening before us, these events here, are showing us the importance of this ceremony. John is in heaven and he is weeping because these seal will stay sealed, which means the uh kingdom of darkness will continue on. It means Satan will continue on, demons will continue on, the law of sin and death will continue on. This world that is out of the will of God will continue on. What God intended to happen when he created Adam and Eve will not be able to be made right or be turned around without that scroll being able to be open. So this shows us the significance, the importance of what is taking place here. The other thing is that this ceremony cannot take place without the church, the body of Christ being there. Christ's body has already been uh uh has already been beaten, has already been bruised, has already been uh uh seen the wrath of God uh for the sins of the world. Uh Jesus being uh nailed to the cross. The body of Christ has already been broken now. So we we're it we're not gonna have to uh suffer uh judgment again, all right, because we are the body of Christ. So we have to be in heaven before this ceremony can take place, before Christ can open it up. And what is going to happen then is that Jesus is going to open the seals, and as each seal is open, then uh a part of the getting ready for the uh the wrath of God and the tribulation period uh will come uh come in and begin to take place. For instance, the first seal comes off and there's a white uh horse and a rider on it, which is the Antichrist. This is unleashing the Antichrist. You know, not on the world just at that moment, but this is putting these pieces of the puzzle, pieces of the of what is about to take place of the rapture into place. Okay. God bless you.
