Okay, reading starting at Revelation chapter twelve verse one. Now a great sign appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she carried out carried out in labor and pain to give birth, and another sign was appeared in heaven. Behold, a great fury red dragon having seven heads and ten horns and seven diadems on his head. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them on the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth to devour her child as soon as it was born. She bore a male child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her child was caught up to God and his throne. And then the woman fled into the wilderness where she was where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days. And war broke out in heaven, and Michael and his angels fought with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the devil, Satan, who deceived the whole world. He was cast into earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, now salvation strength and the kingdom of God and the power of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before God day and night, has been cast down, and they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them, woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time. Verse thirteen. And now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child, but the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and a half time from the presence of the serpent. So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened up its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went out to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet was like the feet of a bear, and his mouth was like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne and great authority, and I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded. And his deadly wound was healed, and all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast saying, Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him? And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies. He was given authority to continue for forty two months. Then he opened up his mouth and blasphemy against God, to blasphemy his name, his tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority was given to him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. Verse eight. All who dwell on earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the book of life of the lamb slain from the foundations of the world. If anyone has an ear, let him hear. He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity. He who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. He here is the patience and the faith of the saints. Verse eleven. Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. He had ten horns, like a lamb, spoke like a dragon, and he exercised all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and caused the earth and those who dwell on it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. Verse thirteen. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell in the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword, and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He caused all both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the name, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, his number is six six six, and that is the end of chapter thirteen of Revelation.
