Big noise for big boys. Yeah, I know. Hi everyone, I am very excited to be here with Italo and Roberto from U-Boats. And uh thank you so much for taking the time. How's the show for you so far? Much better than uh what I was expecting. Okay. I don't want to talk and to say too loud, but uh prospectives are very good. They are very happy. Beautiful. Can you quickly explain what you bought and the Italian you know story behind? I can summarize uh the U Body in one claim that is freedom to create. So I like that. Uh really uh Italo, that is the owner, the founder of the company, and the designer, of course, is uh taking inspiration from what he sees worldwide around, but he's not really following the trends. And he wants really to deliver something that he likes that is different. And this is one of our most important key selling points that you bought is really unique and different from all the other brands that you can find uh in the watch industry. Yeah, yeah, for sure, for sure. I actually uh discovered U-Boat maybe I don't know, 10-15 years ago with a stuff actually you don't have it anymore, but in Montreal. And I remember at the time you used to do a lot of limited edition. Is that something that you keep uh doing as well? Absolutely, yes. We are very proud, he is very proud to launch limited edition every year. Most of our uh let's say expensive, if you want, watches uh are limited. So, how was 25 years ago? Let's go back in time. What made you the idea to start U Balls? Why? Proud to be different. At the time, the the watches are uh very, very small. I am the first to do big size, the new dimension time. Yeah. At the beginning, 25 years ago is a lot. Yeah, for sure. Uh that yes, the world changed a lot. And also the size for the other watches. They follow me. But at the beginning, everybody played with me, like uh you lose the the eyes, you stolen the the from the church. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh everybody smiles, smile, but uh after you see what's happening. Okay. About also the the limited edition, I do some watches, like uh what are you wearing? Yeah. The name is Unico. Unico. Okay. Because it's unique, yeah. Because one is different to the other. Yeah. It's not limited edition, but nobody has the same watches. Yeah, okay. Like you are unique. Yeah. I am unique. Very cool. My watch my watch is unique. So each watch has a different DNA. Different DNA. Oh, it's uh one question for you why the name U-Boot? How do you decide with the name, you know? U-Boot can can be like a your boat. I I I see one engineering technology. I see the the and the our watch is very, very strong. This model was launched at the end of 2024, so it's quite brand new. The collection is called Classico, the true DNA of the company back to 25 years ago. Uh, the watch is completely made in solid titanium T5. The baseline is in tungsten treated in titanium, so that the tungsten you know is one of, if not, the hardest material in the world and cannot be scratched. And we are the only uh watch brand to use uh tungsten. Okay. This is also another very important key selling point because we use a lot of different unique materials. You see, the peculiarity, one of the keys uh of the important things is the thickness of the crystal safari that is like highlighting and magnifying the reading of the watch. This is a 45mm uh case. One of the patents of this watch, that is really a pattern that only you both has, is that when you uh uh uh uh unscrew the uh crown protection, you know the crown here, you can using the third button, you can really uh pull out the crown without using your fingers. You adjust the hour, you adjust whatever you have to adjust, pull it back, and this is really our pattern. Okay. Okay, on the back case, you see the crystal saffari U shape with the rotor that is personalized for you both. On the side you have a small plaque in which we certify the limited edition, of course. And that is that beautiful. Can you also talk about you know the bubble and the technical details? It's a nice uh uh kind uh marketing tool if you want, but it's really uh important to the watch. We call it compensation bubble because you know that the liquid inside this watch is filled with uh oil. It's not olive oil from olive oil, it's a low viscosity silicon-based oil. Okay, as every liquid, you know, liquid are subject to compression and expansion depending from the pressure, depending from the weather condition. Yeah. So the bubble is super important to compensate this movement on the liquid inside. Okay, no? But the inspiration coming from my the compost from my boat. Oh, really? Yes, the compass. Oh, okay. I like it to see flu to under the So you like toys. You like bike, you like boats, you like watches. So all right, big awesome big toys for big boys. Yeah, I know. I like that, I like that.
