The Precision Pod
Success doesn't follow a single path, and that's exactly what The Precision Pod is all about.
Hosted by Baylie Mason, The Precision Pod features conversations with business owners, entrepreneurs, creatives, tradespeople, and professionals from all walks of life. Each guest shares their unique journey, the challenges they've overcome, the lessons they've learned, and what success means to them.
Some guests built their careers through college. Others skipped the traditional route and started businesses, learned trades, or pursued unconventional opportunities. Through these real stories, listeners gain insight into the many ways a successful life and career can be built.
Created with high school students, young adults, and aspiring entrepreneurs in mind, The Precision Pod helps listeners explore industries, discover career possibilities, and learn directly from people who have turned their passions into professions.

The Unofficial First Episode of The Precision Pod
Welcome to the unofficial first episode of The Precision Pod.
My name is Baylie Mason, and I'm here to share my journey, along with the journeys of others, as we navigate different paths to success.
If you're new here, I started Precision Content in November 2024. I was just 18 years old, and honestly, this opportunity kind of fell into my lap. A few months before launching the business, I had been doing photoshoots and helping with minor marketing strategy planning for fun. Eventually, I decided to turn that passion into a business.
I always knew I wanted to be a business owner. I just didn't expect it to happen so quickly.
When I arrived at the University of Oregon that fall, I quickly realized it wasn't the right fit for me. I already had a business gaining momentum, I wasn't building the connections I had hoped for, and the environment simply didn't align with where I was mentally or professionally.
After two terms, I made the decision to drop out. For me, it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
The difference was that I had a plan. I had goals. I wasn't running away from something. I was running toward something. Because of that, I was fortunate enough to see success from that choice. I started gaining more clients, expanding my services, and taking my business to the next level.
Just two months after moving back home, I decided it was time to take another leap. At 19 years old, I moved into my first apartment and began paying for everything on my own, including every single business expense. Saying I'm proud of myself would be an understatement.
Fast forward to today. I'm 20 years old, living in my second apartment, which has been a huge upgrade. I'm launching this podcast, working alongside two part time interns, and setting even bigger goals for myself and my business.
This podcast is for everyone, but there are a few groups I especially hope to reach.
I want to help high school students who are struggling to figure out their next step. I want to encourage young adults who feel lost or believe there's only one path to success. I want people to understand that nontraditional paths are valid and that success looks different for everyone. For the adults listening, I want you to know that it's never too late to chase your dreams, start over, or build something meaningful.
My hope is that by sharing not only my story, but also the stories of people from different ages, industries, and backgrounds, we can inspire, educate, and encourage as many people as possible.
Thank you for joining me on this journey.
We're almost two years in, and we're just getting started.
With love,
Bay 🩷

Welcome to Precision Collective, the home to all things precision. My name is Bailey Mason. I'm the founder of an abundance of companies. First off, obviously Precision Collective, it is the parent brand to all things precision. I have so many different business ventures, but nothing is totally tied to Precision Collective itself. Precision Content is a digital marketing agency with freelance photography and videography with some BTS. The Precision Pod, which is a podcast for all types of listeners, we dive into all niches under the sun. It is specifically made so that people like me who dropped out of college or don't know where to go after high school can get insight into how people are successful if they have a degree, if they don't have a degree, if they got a company given to them throughout a family. It gives you so many perspectives on how to be successful that isn't just a straight line. We also have Precision and Purpose, which is a donation charity organization that I started last year. I have decided to choose a charitable cause every year. Last year we did giving back to people, restructuring their lives and trying to get back on into the workforce, helping families, children, everything like that. People donated products, and then I delivered those to different community organizations. The next cause at Precision and Purpose will be doing is for high school athletes and high school seniors that need assistance in paying off their athletic fees or their fees to walk at graduation. This is a whole thing that I'm trying to build, so not too much on that yet, but I'm so excited for this next cause. Lastly, for the time being, is the Precision Girls Retreat, which is going to be a community of girls who can come together, grow their network, share their expertise within their niche, get products from local vendors, and just honestly grow the young female business owner community. It is very difficult. I have walked that road and I just want to be able to give my knowledge and my network to all of you. If you don't know me, my name is Bailey Mason. I went to the University of Oregon for two terms right after I graduated high school, and I left after those two terms because it just was not for me. I brought my business from high school. I started Precision Content in November of 2024, and I had gone to college in October, and juggling classes, working, trying to build a network in Portland when I was in Eugene or in Arizona was beyond difficult to do. Meeting with clients, trying to get new clients. I felt very stagnant and I just it felt very off. So I decided to drop out, which there's a huge negative connotation around, and I was so worried of what other people would think that it held me there for even that winter term when I didn't want to be there in the first place. Honestly, it made me go to college. I was not wanting to go, but it was the right next step. And so I decided, okay, I'll give it a try. And my mom said, you should try it in case you don't like it. So thanks, mom. But you know, I realized that that was not the path that I was meant to take, and that is where the whole direction of the precision pod came to light because I was stuck and I had no idea what to do, how to be my own business owner, and now not being in school, not getting those marketing classes, not getting those finance classes, not knowing any, no one was telling me what to do. There was no direction. I had to kind of just figure it out on my own. And I'm very lucky that I'm very driven and passionate about what I do, that I figured it out, but it is definitely far from a linear line of how I got here. So this is my journey. This is me documenting everything that I've done from when I started in November to now being in May of 2026. It is insane. I'm building a team. I have more clients than I know what to do with, hence the team, and I'm expanding into places all across the country, mainly Arizona for right now. I'm taking clients that are flying in for photography. They're coming in from Wisconsin to do a family photo shoe with me. I think there's a huge level of imposter syndrome here, and I am so thankful to be able to be in a place where I'm 20 years old with a fully functioning business that I'm growing and expanding, and I have 30,000 different business ventures under my belt currently. So I appreciate you being here. If you want to join me on this journey, obviously you can follow me, and I guess we'll just see where things go. Thank you and bye bye.
